Abstract Koi (C. carpio) is one of famous ornamental fish in Indonesia. Fish often be subject of change or stessor like physical, chemical and biology on culture. Stress in fish caused released cortisol hormone and cathecolamine hormone. Cathecolamine increase glicogenolisis, cardiovascular regulation and respiration fungtion. Blood glucose and tachiventilation (opercular movement) can indicate stress respon in fish. Essential oil of A. conyzoides have central analgesic activity. Analgesic drugs in vertebrae can reduce stress in fish. Essential oil shown inhibitory effect of GABA transminase, an enzime GABA (gammaaminobutryic acid) degradation which can provoking sedation. Sedation effect in fish reduce blood glucose and tachiventilation. Potency bioactive essential oil of bandotan leaf compound haven’t been know in aquaculture. The potency based of LC50 (Lethal Consentration 50 %) value Purpose of this research determined effect of essential oil Ageratum conyzoides leaf on Koi (Cyprinus carpio) Phsycology Response (Blood Glucose and Tachiventilation) every 4 hours durung 24 hours and LC50-24 hours. Plants that can be used as pesticides are Gadung tubers. Gadung tubers contain cyanide acid to kill armyworm pests because they contain dioscorin toxins which can cause nervous disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gadung tuber extract (Dioscorea hispida) on Caterpillar mortality (Spodoptera exigua) in Shallot plants. This type of research is experimental research. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD). The sample used was 5 caterpillars (Spodoptera exigua) in each polybag with 5 repetitions for each concentration of Gadung tuber extract, namely 0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0% and 2.5%, so the total Caterpillar used was 150 Caterpillars. Gadung tuber extraction was carried out by maceration method with methanol solvent. Data were analyzed using a one-way analysis of variance at the 95% significance level, followed by DMRT (Duncans Multiple Range Test). The results showed that the Gadung tuber extract had a significant effect on the mortality of caterpillars (Spodoptera exigua) because the F count was greater than the F table (45.40>2.62), and the DMRT test results showed that the optimal concentration of Gadung tuber extract was 2.5%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the extract of Gadung tuber (Dioscorea hispida) affects the mortality of Caterpillars (Spodoptera exigua) in Shallots (Allium cepa).

Diabetes melitus drugs are currently quite expensive, so they require a cheaper and more effective substitute for drugs to control glucose levels in people with diabetes melitus. Exploring local potentials using medicinal plants can be an alternative to chemical drugs. One of the medicinal plants that is thought to be used for people with diabetes mellitus is juwet. Juwet leaves are suspected to have hypoglycemic activity, because they contain flavonoid and saponin compounds. Juwet bark also contains chemical compounds, namely flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. This study aims to determine the decrease in blood glucose levels in dextrose-induced mice by giving juwet leaf extract and juwet bark extract (Syzygium cumini L.). The test animals used were 36 male mice (Mus musculus) aged 2-3 months with a weight of 20-30 grams. This type of research was carried out experimentally and the design of this study used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which was divided into 12 treatments and 3 replications. The 12 treatments are juwet leaf extract and juwet bark with the same dose, namely the dose of 0 mg/kg BB, 150 mg/kg BB, 200 mg/kg BB, 250 mg/kg. Data from the research were analyzed statistically using One Way ANOVA and continued with the LSD test. The results showed that administration of juwet leaf extract and juwet bark extract at various doses had a significant effect on decreasing blood glucose levels of mice. The most effective dose to reduce blood glucose levels is juwet bark extract with a dose of 250 mg/kg BB.

Secondary metabolites are produced by certain plant species and may influence the development of some species through the action of allelopathic effects. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the allelopathic effect of Lippia alba essential oil on the germination, emergence and vigor of seedlings of different batches of lettuce seeds. This experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with a 3´5 factorial scheme consisting of three batches of seeds of the cultivar Grand Rapids® and five doses of L. alba essential oil (0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00%) diluted in distilled water and homogenized in Tween® 80. Seed germination and vigor, in the laboratory (experiment I), and emergence, in a protected environment (experiment II), were evaluated. The results demonstrated that there was an inhibitory effect with a significant reduction of germination, vigor and seed emergence when L. alba essential oil was added starting at concentrations of 0.25%. The essential oil showed allelopathic potential over different lettuce seed lots, affecting germination, vigor and seed emergence.
