Introduction: Stunting is a condition of the measured height of toddlers, which is less to the age. Stunting, which occurs in these children, is also considered in chronic nutrition problems. The study aimed to discover the correlation between breastfeeding mothers' pattern in breastfeeding for toddlers aged 0 days to 6 months with the stunting incidence in toddlers in Gandatapa village, Sumbang sub-district, Banyumas district. Methods: This study implemented an observational analytic method that examined the correlation between breastfeeding mothers' patterns and stunting incidence. This research design was case control. This study conducted two sampling techniques; total sampling and simple random sampling, and each was used for sampling and control groups. The research sample collected 80 respondents. The study used a questionnaire of breastfeeding mothers and TB/U observation charts for ages 2 to 5 years, according to WHO 2005.Results: Based on the bivariate analysis, the pattern of breastfeeding mothers in Gandatapa Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency was in a bad category with 22 stunting toddlers (55%). Pearson Chi-Square test on the Pattern of Breastfeeding Mothers towards Stunting Incidents in toddlers obtained p-value = 0.024 <0.05 with an OR value of 2.852 (95% CI 1.137 - 7.152).Conclusion: Toddlers under 24 to 35 months can increase the risk of stunting incidence when mothers have poor breastfeeding patterns.

In June 2019, the government established the status of hepatitis A outbreaks in Pacitan District, which is spread across several districts. Based on data from the District Health Office of Pacitan, there were 1,310 peoples with hepatitis A on October 2019. Through this study, the relation between knowledge, attitudes, and personal hygiene as risk factors of hepatitis A outbreaks in Pacitan District can be identified. Methods: Observational analytic methods and case control research design were used in this study. The population was 280 people. The sample consisted of 60 peoples with case of 30 peoples and control of 30 peoples. Case and control samples were taken randomly (simple random sampling). The research data were collected using the interview method, then analyzed using the Chi Square test and the Contingency Coefficient. Results and Discussion: There was a correlation between knowledge level with the occurrence of hepatitis A outbreaks (p-value = 0.002 <0.05), attitudes with hepatitis A (pvalue = 0.004 <0.05), and personal hygiene with the occurrence of hepatitis A outbreaks (pvalue = 0.001 <0.05). Conclusion: Inadequate knowledge, inappropriate personal hygiene lead to the spread of hepatitis A outbreaks in the working area of Primary Health Care of Ngadirojo, Pacitan District.

Abstract: In Klaten district,  leptospirosis cases raised  up  during  6 years (2006–2013), except in 2012.  The  healthy houses coverage raised up as well, although some houses still had not met healthy house criteria. The aim of this study was to analyze of house conditions and the rat exsistence affected to the leptospirosis cases in Klaten district. This study was observational analytic study used case control design. This study  was conducted on November, 2013–June, 2014 by using questionnaire, interview, and observation. The sample was 60 respondents with 30 cases and 30 controls. The independent variables  were the house conditions, house components, sanitation facilities, behavior,  and rat existence in the  house. Bivariate analysis  used chi square  test,  the  result showed that the  house conditions (p value  =  0.009 OR = 6.882), behavior  (p value = 0.017 OR = 6.000), and the rat existence in the house (p value = 0.030 OR = 10.545) were related to the leptospirosis cases. Multivariate analysis  used logistic regression test, the result showed unhealthy house conditions was the dominant risk factors that affect to the leptospirosis cases with value of probability about 74,6% and  two-fold  higher  risk compared with healthy house conditions. The suggestion for community in Klaten District is attempting to improve  the environmental house health by having a clean  and healthy living, such as always to put the garbage away to the waterproof  and closed bins and to put the garbage away regularly from house in the evening to prevent  rats go into house. Keywords: housing conditions, rat, unhealthy houses, leptospirosis

Stroke is one of the cause of death and major neurological disability in Indonesia. The risk of stroke increases with the number of risk factors. Stroke is the main cause of inpatient death at Panembahan Senopati General Hospital in Bantul. The independent variables in this study were hypertension and diabetes mellitus. This study aim to determine the relationship of hypertension and diabetes mellitus to the incidence of stroke. The study was conducted in 2016 and was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The number of respondents were 256 samples, where samples were taken by simple random sampling. The research instrument is observation sheet of medical records. Analysis of data was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. Bivariate analysis showed significant correlation statistically and biologically between hypertension (RP = 9.000 ; CI = 4.866-16.645 ; p value = 0.000) and diabetes mellitus (RP = 4.226 ; CI = 3.089-5.780 ; p value = 0.000) with the incidence of stroke. Efforts to increase health promotion program to improve community awareness regarding the incidence of stroke are suggested to improve the quality of life of stroke patients.

ABSTRACT               The objective of the research was to analyze the risk factors of  women with the history of normal childbirth had delivery by section caesarea.             The research used observational analytic method with case-control study design. The samples consisted of 42 cases and 42 controls, taken by using consecutive sampling technique. Dependent variable was childbirth with CS and independent variables were parity, accompanied illness, and reference. The gathered data were analyzed by using univatriate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi square test, and multivatriate analysis at α = 0.05.             The result of the research from multivariate analysis showed that the variables which had significant influence on childbirth with SC were parity (p = 0.006; OR = 5.801 95% CI = 1.642-19.110),accompanied illness (p = 0.03; OR = 6.382 95% CI = 1.198-33.992), and reference (p = 0.003; OR = 6.350 95% CI = 1.874-21.522). The variable which had the most dominant influence childbirth with CS was accompanied illness. p-value = 97% which indicated that childbirth women with the parity > 2 had accompanied illness and the reference to the hospital had the possibility to give birth with CS of 97%.             It is recommended to do family planning programme, and prevent the illness during pregnant, apply ANC according to the standard, and make sure that the childbirth is safe from Period I to Period III.   Keywords: Risk Factor, Caesarea, Case-Control

Preeclampsia is a condition characterized by an increase in maternal blood pressure of at least 140/90 mmHg accompanied by proteinuria and other symptoms that occur after 28 weeks gestation. The incidence of preeclampsia in hospital DR M Djamil Padang reached 33%. The exact cause of preeclampsia remains unknown, but extreme maternal age, nulliparity, history of hypertension are suspected to be the risk factors for this. This study aims to determine the factors related with the incidence of severe preeclampsia in the hospital DR M. Djamil Padang. This was observational analytic study with case control study design. The population is divided into two, the case population (all mothers with severe preeclampsia) and the control population (all mothers with no severe preeclampsia). The sample was 85 people taken by simple random sampling with the comparison between case : control (1:1). Data were taken from the patient's medical records. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate using  Chi square test with  p value < 0,05.The results of this study showed there was a relationship between age (p = 0,001), parity (p = 0,020) and history of hypertension (p = 0,003) with the incidence of severe preeclampsia in the hospital DR M Djamil Padang. While the factor that has no significant relation is multiple pregnancy.Mothers with age <20 years old or ≥35 years old, nulliparity, and having a history of hypertension are more at risk for severe preeclampsia. Therefore it is expected for health workers especially midwives to increase awareness to patients especially for those who at risk of  preeclampsia.
