AbstractTeacher as the spearhead and one of the components that play a role in determining the quality of education, must always improve his knowledge and skills through the help of orther professionals, namely supervisors. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts of supervisors in development of social studies teacher is profesionalism in MIN Banjarmasin and the factors that influence it. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data are obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Supervisors efforts in fostering social studies teacher profesionalsm in MIN Banjarmasin based on programs that were prepared with other supervisors. Coaching efforts are still focused on class visits, interviews and meetings by using a collaborative approach. (2) These influencing factors are that supervisors rarely get training in supervision, that teacher is still reluctant to solve the problem and does not want to be supervised in class, the lack of teacher responsibility even though he has passed the teacher certification and lack technical skills and limited means.Keywords: Suopervisor, Coaching, Profesionalism, Social studies teacherAbstrakGuru sebagai ujung tombak dan satu komponen yang berperan dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan, harus selalu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya melalui bantuan orang lain yang profesional, yakni Pengawas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang dilakukan pengawas dalam pembinaan profesional guru IPS pada MIN kota Banjarmasin serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukakan bahwa (1) upaya pengawas dalam membina profesional guru IPS pada MIN Kota Banjarmasin didasarkan pada program yang disusun bersama pengawas lainnya. Upaya pembinaan masih terfokus kepada kunjungan kelas, wawancara dan rapat dengan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif. (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, yaitu pengawas jarang mendapatkan diklat dan pelatihan tentang kepengawasan, guru masih kurang mau menyelesaikan masalahnya dan tidak mau disupervisi kelas, rendahnya tanggung jawab meskipun lulus sertifikasi guru, serta kurang penguasaan skill teknologi dan sarana terbatas.Kata Kunci: Pengawas, Pembinaan, Profesional, Guru IPS

This study aimed to describe (1) the learning process with the use of the environment in social studies learning, (2) the performance of teachers in the use of the environment as a source of learning in social studies learning, and (3) barriers and difficulties of teachers in the use of the environment as a source of teaching and learning IPS SDN 1 Pasar Baru Pagatan Tanah Bumbu. The approach in this research is using qualitative descriptive method. The data obtained in this study is derived from information provided by a social studies teacher at the data in the form of primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the learning done outside the classroom by making field trips to several places around the school in accordance with the substance of the material to be taught, (2) teachers in the utilization of the environment as the source is through the use of various strategies and methods of learning, such as assignments, field trips, question and answer, and discussion groups so as to create an atmosphere of learning more meaningful, (3) the constraints and difficulties of teachers in the use environment as a learning resource in teaching social studies at SDN 1 New Market Pagatan Tanah Bumbu include limited time, required effort and significant costs while doing filed trip, as well as the lack of support the community around the school.Keywords: Use of Environmental, Social Learning

This study aims to determine the improvement of the quality of education through academic qualifications and competencies. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of STAI Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam Malang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (2017/2018). The results of this study obtained data that the previous academic qualifications were not appropriate / not linear with basic education, improving the quality of education through academic qualifications and competencies had a positive effect on education in MI.

<p><em>This article describes the role of Vāda-Vidyā for students at universities to improve the quality of education, which is still considered to be very low in Indonesia. Vāda-Vidyā is the science of discussion contained in the Nyaya Sutra for the sake of seeking the right knowledge. Vāda-Vidyā displays various theories that metaphysical-ontologically provide an overview of the sixteen categories (padartha), namely the things that must be mastered in order to achieve liberation through a true knowledge. Efforts to reach the right knowledge in epistemic described through four pramana, namely pratyaksha, anumana, upamana and sabdha. From the fourth pramana, pratyaksha is the most important, where three others depend. With a qualitative descriptive method, this article attempts to enter all the problems faced by Indonesian students by Kemendikbud through analysis of epistemology of Vāda-Vidyā. In principle, if Vāda-Vidyā can be correctly understood and actualized into learning activities, the quality of education in Indonesia will be improved.</em></p>

The transfer of mangrove forest into ponds of the silvofishery system becomes one of the solutions in managing the environmental impact. Many areas that have succeeded in developing and highly relevant are applied in other areas such as the area of ponds located in Budeng Village, Jembrana regency, Bali which began to be abandoned threatening to decrease the quality of the environment. The purpose of this research is to study the development of silvofishery system in Budeng village mangrove area.The study was conducted during January - February 2017. The method of plotting plot with combination of stripping path was used to obtain the biotic and abiotic environment of mangrove. Data analysis with qualitative descriptive method according to land criteria for silvofishery development.Biotic and abiotic mangrove environment parameters obtained by pond location in Budeng Village were matched with development table for silvofishery system recommended for silvofishery area. However, it is necessary to stage the addition of mangrove vegetation stand before the silvofishery system is applied because only the vegetation density factor is lacking.

The objective of this research is to study the inluence of development effectiveness and education and training quality on the driver’s technical skills of PT XYZ in Jakarta. The method of research is a survey using Path Analysis. The respondents for this survey are 35 drivers selected by applying proportional random sampling technique. The results of this research show that: (1) the effectiveness of development directly inluencing the driver’s technical skills is 35.8%, (2) the quality of education and training directly inluencing the driver’s technical skills is 33.8%, and (3) the effectiveness of coaching directly inluencing the quality of education is 25.5% The study concludes that technical skills can be improved through effective development and the quality of education and training, and the quality of education and training can be enhanced through effective development as well.

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p>This study focuses on deliberative democracy practices in Caturtunggal village, specifically in the sub-village (<em>dusun</em>) of Seturan, Karangwuni, and Ambarukmo. The study assesses the quality of deliberation in these dusun by applying the three out of  five indicators of deliberative democracy theory by Fishkin (2009), namely information, subtantantive balance, and equal consideration. This study deploys qualitative descriptive method and case-study approach with in-depth interview as the main data gathering technique. This deliberation has put Village Consultative Board (BPD) period of 2013-2019 as a mediator and to consider arguments and deliberative results. Based on the indicators which proposed by Fishkin, Seturan and Ambarukmo are categorized for having semi-ideal deliberation, meanwhile Karangwuni is categorized as not ideal. The study also finds elite capture practices in Seturan and Karangwuni, but they do not impact significantly. </p></div></div></div>

Sport as a model of human creativity is a form of physical activity that has very complex dimensions, which undergo a systematic process in the form of all activities or efforts that can encourage, arouse, develop and foster one's physical and spiritual potential. as individuals or members of society. in the form of games, competitions/contests, and intensive physical activities to obtain recreation, victory, and peak potential. Sport is currently a trend or lifestyle for some of the general public, even to the point of becoming a basic need in life. National development through the development of sports in Indonesia in this reform era has become a strategic vehicle, especially improving the quality of human resources, as well as the formation of the character and character of the nation, in this paper many factors play a role in success in the field of sports, one of which the author wants to examine the differences and similarities between the performance sports system that runs in Indonesia and China. This study aims to compare the development of achievement sports systems carried out in Indonesia and China in order to improve the quality and competence of sports. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through documentation studies. The results of this study conclude that the government's contribution is needed in preparing winning strategies, training facilities, increasing competition opportunities and increasing resources that can be assisted by a team of academics and researchers from universities to find new techniques in training to support the maximum use of sport science. This study was conducted based on the low of religious practice of students which is the implementation of the learning outcomes of religious knowledge obtained anywhere, especially in SD Plus Al-Islam. Therefore, in the implementation of the school should be able to realize the management of education well, because the success of learning is strongly influenced by management effectiveness formulated. Islamic religious material in SD Plus Al-Islam is a distinctive feature that distinguishes it from other elementary schools. Therefore, the school should really be able to streamline the management of education in Islamic learning to improve the quality or quality of education, especially in religious practice. This study, included in qualitative descriptive research. The author collects data using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of research on the effectiveness of management education in Islamic learning to foster attitudes and religious practices of students, especially in performing prayers sunnah duha every morning, reading or memorizing Al-Quran, charity, and say hello. The overall management implementation process includes organizing, implementing and valuing systems. While the religious practice of the students is very diverse, in addition to the school management that must be considered, motivation, coaching, supervision of teachers, and environmental factors must also be considered. So the effectiveness of management in SD Plus Al-Islam Wanayasa Purwakarta was effective and can improve the attitude of religious practice of students.

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has been implemented in various fields, including in government. To support the implementation of e-Government (e-Gov) and improve the quality of public services, many technology-based applications have been created by government agencies, both central and local governments. DISKOMINFOARPUS Cimahi City built an application called SILPa KAMI to support the vision of Cimahi Smart City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to determine how the implementation and sustainability of the SILPa KAMI application and what kind of characteristics the agencies should have so it can replicate this application. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of the SILPa KAMI application is running well because it has fulfilled various success factors of e-Gov implementation which is also marked by the sustainability even though there are still obstacles. Also, the use of ICT based on the e-leadership aspect, the information network infrastructure aspect, the information management aspect, the business environment aspect, as well as the community and human resources aspect has been optimally utilized. This application is relatively easy to be replicated by other agencies. The agencies that can replicate this application must have the availability of budget, the availability of related facilities and infrastructure and the availability of reliable ICT managers.

Based on the analysis of educational and regulatory documents, the main pedagogical principles of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQU) are summarized: a) basic pedagogical principles of SSEQU’s activity, which are defined by the legislator as basic principles of state educational policy (people orientedness; primacy of the law; ensuring the quality of education and equal access to education; humanism; democracy; unity of teaching, upbringing and development, etc.); b) principles that determine the legal sphere of the SSEQU’s activity (institutional separation of control functions and functions ensuring the activities of educational institutions; transparency and publicity of management decisions; responsibility and accountability of education authorities and educational institutions to society; public administration; public partnership etc); c) pedagogical principles that guide and structurally organize SSEQU’s activities (universal design and reasonable adaptation; scientific nature of education; diversity of education; integrity and continuity of education; integration with the labor market; freedom of choosing the types, forms and pace of education, educational program, educational institution; academic integrity; academic freedom, etc. Empirical data analysis based on the educational process participants’ views on the factors, which comprise educational quality, revealed that the interviewees valued most the level of qualification, experience, knowledge and skills of their teachers, educational and methodological support, the use of new technologies and innovations in teaching for achieving quality education. Interaction and cooperation between education stakeholders was identified as important by teachers and students, and less important – by parents. Interviews with students - prospective educational experts revealed that they valued the sequence of communication skills, knowledge and skills of expert activity, experience and knowledge of pedagogical activities.
