Museums in general are used to store, maintain, secure and utilize museum collections in the form of cultural heritage objects. Fine arts museums are appreciated through visions with visible media and have a physical form or simply presented as a show. The city of Pontianak does not yet have a place to carry out the function of this fine art museum. The museum collection focuses on modern fine art with long-term loans to the museum. There are some art enthusiasts in Pontianak but there is no place to channel this interest. The design method uses three stages. The first stage, data collection by classifying data as information and facts on a problem. The second stage, the analysis aims to analyze the data that has been obtained. The third stage is systematic and systematic by using images in the form of stages with product results, namely, planning drawings and design reports. The design of the Modern Art Museum in Pontianak uses a green architectural approach, namely building planning that seeks to minimize various harmful influences on human health and the environment. This museum has two floors divided according to functions, namely manager and visitor functions. The facade used is of the 3R type (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), so the walls use bricks and the windows will use low e-glass material and uPVC frames. The comparison composition of 60:40 for buildings and green land follows the requirements for building a museum.

The trends in the development of education include the trend of informatization of education and the trend of innovative education. In forensic medicine, the competence to learn to cognize compulsorily includes understanding of general pathological processes, and only through this prism should the ability to verify particular pathological changes occurring in the human body as a result of various types of injuries and diseases arise. To implement these trends, we use distance educational technologies, taking into account the following criteria: for an individual trajectory of professional formation and development of a cadet doctor; for the development of thinking in the process of professional development; of objectivity; of productive communication; of information support for the co-creation of teachers and cadets; feedback. In order to apply the indicated criteria in full, the process of perception and processing of visual information was divided into three stages. The first stage is the analysis of the structure of the information supplied. At the second stage, new images are created. The third stage is a search activity. The above-described structuring of the content of educational information and the principles of organizing the educational process using distance educational technologies have successfully taught doctors of forensic experts to apply knowledge of general human pathology in the production of examinations.

Workplace relocation can have a significant impact on commuting trips as well as on the location and number of activities scheduled within the home-work tour. This often exogenous, non-voluntary event affects the entire activity-travel behavior of the employees. As response, employees can adopt several short- and long-term adaptation strategies to cope with such change, the most obvious being commuting mode shifting, acquire new mobility resources (e.g., buying a car) or changing residential location. As workplace relocation can be consequence of national policies aimed at decongesting the city centers or to favor the development of new business areas, undesired macroscopic changes in modal shares and in land developments may be observed. While a decrease in the commuting time after a workplace relocation is, in some cases, observed, an increase in car use for the commuting trip may be observed as well. This paper aims at providing an in-depth understanding of the effect of workplace relocation on travel behavior by reviewing and selecting the relevant scientific literature on the topic, which has in the last years gained popularity. The findings and observations summarized by the literature review are then complemented with the specific example of the relocation of the University of Luxembourg employees. Finally, we indicate potential directions for research, which are currently underexplored.

Porta Valbona in Urbino: its representation between history and restorationThe Porta Valbona study is part of a complex project of conservation and valorisation of the defensive walls of Urbino that the research group, of the School of Conservation and Restoration of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, has developed in recent years. Built in 1621 it is the most important gate of the city both because it is connected to Via Mazzini, one of the main streets of the historic centre, and for its spectacular architectural appearance created for the wedding of Prince Federico Ubaldo della Rovere with Princess Claudia de Medici. The two eagles, in limestone, placed at the sides of the door, date back to the mid-eighteenth century and are the work of the Rimini architect Giovan Francesco Buonamici. It is also the only Gate of Urbino which has a monumental facing facing outwards, or towards Piazza del Mercatale. Despite having undergone several restorations and consolidations over the centuries, it has not been modified in its original appearance. Porta Valbona, together with the city walls, represents a real urban palimpsest, an exceptional case of sedimentation and stratification which, despite the events, still allows us to reconstruct its historical events. The applied design method was based on the following analyzes: a) urban analysis: knowledge of the characteristics and urban potential of the door; b) historical analysis: knowledge of the historical evolution and of the specific qualities of the door; c) geometric analysis: metric and architectural survey; d) material analysis, study of materials and forms of deterioration; e) structural analysis: identification of the morphological and constructive organization from the structural point of view. All the large amount of information obtained from the analysis was managed thanks to the use of GIS systems. Thus it was possible to identify the shape and character of the monument and its testimonial, constructive and architectural values were recognized. On the basis of an internal analysis of the cultural asset and an external analysis of the context in which it is located, it was possible to define the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

This paper aims to develop a framework that evaluates the university innovation ability. It has divided the whole framework into three stages. The first stage is to construct index system to the university innovation ability. The second stage is Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based innovation ability evaluation. The third stage is Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The proposed framework can assist the university presidents to comprehend the present strengths and weaknesses of their university. They can identify good practices from others and can benchmark them for improving their innovation ability. This framework also facilitates the decision makers to better understand the complex relationships of the relevant innovation ability factors in decision-making.

Nowadays, the focus on sustainable materials with high specifications has become a necessity in certain important construction projects. These materials play an essential role and constitute the foundation stone in the sustainability of these projects in addition to their impact on the execution time. Many studies have discussed the challenges faced by these materials and their negative impact on the execution period of construction projects. However, these studies are still scarce in the reconstruction projects, especially the historical ones, which are based mainly on the sustainability of the materials used, which are represented by the historical elements that maintain the ancient shape of the building. The aim of this research is to highlight the materials-related challenges of historical reconstruction projects which negatively affect the planned duration of implementation. This study was conducted on the Old Riwaq project, which is the historical part of the Mataf Expansion project in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is considered one of the most important reconstruction historical projects that have been recently carried out in the Middle East. In order to achieve this goal, 15 interviews were held with the engineers working in this project and specialists in these types of historical projects. The results show a group of different challenges that follow the reconstruction stages of the historical building. These challenges are: challenges related to the first stage which is the documentation and dismantling stage (two challenges), challenges related to the second stage which is the workshops stage (three challenges), and challenges related to the third stage which is the new designs and mockup stage (three challenges). Finally, the identification of sustainable materials challenges should be considered an urgent necessity, in order to overcome or reduce their negative effects in future projects, especially in relation to project durations.
