<p><em>It is crucial to implement student character values from early age. The </em><em>application</em><em> of character education has been implemented at S D N 1 Surotrunan. To determine the of student character values, the researcher was interested in evaluating the implementation of strengthening character education at S D N 1 Surotrunan. The study aimed</em><em> to </em><em>describe the implementation of </em><em>strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education and to </em><em>analyze the </em><em>factors tha</em><em>t</em><em> affected strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education at S D N 1 Surotrunan. The data were narration about research subjects obtained through </em><em>d</em><em>ata collection techniques included observation, interviews, and document study. The participants were students, class teachers, and principal. The data validity test techniques were source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. </em>(<em>1) </em><em>The student character values that can be observed in SD Negeri 1 Surotrunan are: </em><em>(a</em><em>) </em><em>religious; </em><em>(b</em><em>) </em><em>honest; </em><em>(c</em><em>)</em><em> tolerance; </em><em>(d</em><em>) </em><em>discipline; </em><em>(e</em><em>) </em><em>care for the environment; </em><em>(f</em><em>) </em><em>social care; </em><em>(g</em><em>)</em><em> and responsibilities. Overall, the students' character values have been optimal, there are only a few values that have not been fulfilled optimally. Values that are not optimal in instilling character values are tolerance, environmental care, and social care</em><em>; </em><em>(2) </em><em>factors affecting the strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education were internal and external factors. Internal factors included: (a) feeling, (b) habit, (c) willingness, (d) mood, </em><em>and </em><em>(e) offspring. External factors included education and environment.</em></p>

Abstract Objectives: The Best-Worst Method is considered as a novel and innovative way to identify and prioritize ever-changing internal and external factors affecting health care performance. Results: After screening the large number of factors using the “content validity ratio”, a Pairwise comparisons were conducted between the best and the worst criteria and the other one. Then Modeling the research problem through linear programming and finding the optimal weights.the most effective internal factors from the experts’ viewpoint were the financial indicators such as “the ratio of personnel wage costs to the total revenues”. The most important external factor that was “structure of the payment system and strategic service purchasing by insurance”.external factors had greater impacts on the performance of public hospitals than internal factors. Therefore, when assessing the performance and improvement interventions of hospital, not only internal indicators should be measured, but also external factors, including political and economic policies and approaches governing the health system need to be taken into account.

This study deals with speaking achievement of eighth semester students in English Department of one university in Nusa Tenggara Barat - Indonesia in academic year 2013/2014. The purpose of this study was to find out factors that help students succeed in learning speaking. The method of this research is qualitative research that focuses on case study. The subjects of this study were the eighth semester students who got an A in Speaking I, II and III subjects. Four students were recruited as the research subjects consisting of one female and three males. The data about the students were obtained from the academic databases in the English Department. In collecting the data, semi-structured interviews were conducted. The data, then, were analyzed through some stages namely transcribing data, reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusion. The result of this study showed that factors contributing to students speaking achievement consist of internal and external factors. The internal factors include motivation and interests, while the external factors involve family, school condition and society.Keywords: success in learning, speaking, case study

Komitmen karier adalah sikap yang ditunjukkan individu dalam mencapai tujuan karier.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hasil-hasil penelitian (literature review) mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen karier pada individu. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada database elektronik SAGE Journals, ProQuest, dan Science Direct dengan menggunakan kata kunci “career commitment”. Hasil penelusuran menunjukkan bahwa komitmen karier dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi komitmen karier terdiri dari komitmen organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, kepuasan kerja, nilai kerja, pengalaman kerja, kepribadian, dan self-efficacy sedangkan faktor eksternal terdiri dari situasi kerja yang meliputi kondisi kerja, persepsi pensiun, persepsi terhadap ancaman dalam bekerja, dorongan yang ditawarkan organisasi (offered inducements), kontribusi yang diharapkan organisasi (expected contributions), peluang promosi, dan reward. Kata kunci: Karier, komitmen karier Career commitment is the attitude that individuals show in achieving career goals. This study aims to examine the results of research or literature review on the factors that affect career commitments in individuals. The literature search was conducted on SAGE Journals, ProQuest, and Science Direct electronic databases using the keyword "career commitment". Search results showed that career commitments are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors affecting career commitment consist of organizational commitment, job involvement, job satisfaction, work value, work experience, personality, and self-efficacy while external factors consist of work situations covering working conditions, retirement perception, perceptions of threats in work, encouragement offered by the organization (offered inducements), the expected contribution of the organization (expected contributions), promotion opportunities, and rewards. Keywords: Career, career commitment

Abstrak Penelitian Pengembangan Strategi Pengelolaan Sanggar Srengenge Mas, Bantul, DIY bertujuan mengidentifikasi strategi yang digunakan selama ini dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Di samping untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal serta memformulasikan pengembangan strategi yang digunakan Sanggar Srengenge Mas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi empat tahap. Tahap pertama menentukan lingkup penelitian yang terdiri dari objek penelitian dan subjek penelitian. Langkah kedua, melakukan teknik pengumpulan data. Langkah ketiga menentukan variabel yang mencakup faktor internal (kekuatan dan kelemahan) dan faktor eksternal (peluang dan ancaman). Langkah keempat atau terakhir, melakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan matrik IE, Sanggar Srengenge Mas berada di posisi V, yakni Hold and Maintain (pertahankan dan pelihara). Strategi umum yang dipakai adalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Hasil penelitian kedua, berdasarkan kuadran analisis SWOT Sanggar Srengenge Mas berada di kuadran I sehingga diperlukan pemilihan strategi berupa penggunaan setiap kekuatan untuk menghadapi setiap ancaman dengan mendukung strategi ofensif guna menciptakan peluang. Hasil penelitian ketiga, berdasarkan hasil Kuadran Analisis SWOT Sanggar Srengenge Mas menunjukkan posisinya berada pada kuadran I yaitu Ekspansion mendukung strategi ofensif. Abstract Research on the Management Strategy Development of the Srengenge Mas Studio, Bantul, DIY aims to identify the strategies that have been used so far in achieving the stated objectives. Besides analyzing internal and external factors and formulating the development of strategies used by Srengenge Mas Studio. The research method used includes four steps. The first step determines the scope of the study which consists of the object of research and research subjects. The second step is to carry out data collection techniques. The third step determines variables that include internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats). The fourth or final step is to analyze the data using qualitative methods using SWOT analysis. The results of the study are based on the IE matrix, Sanggar Srengenge Mas is in position V, namely Hold and Maintain (keep up and maintain). The general strategies used are market penetration and product development. The results of the second study, based on the SWOT analysis quadrant Srengenge Mas Studio, were in quadrant I, so a strategy was needed in the form of using each force to deal with each threat by supporting an offensive strategy to create opportunities. The results of the third study, based on the results of the Srengenge Mas SWOT Analysis Quadrant, show that their position is in quadrant I, namely expansion, supporting offensive strategies.

The purpose of this study was to determine the internal and external factors in the learning output of D III Accounting students, and what factors have the greatest influence on the output of D III Accounting students at Pamulang University in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with a sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The sample in this study were students of D III accounting for the 2019/2020 school year. as many as 63 respondents. The data research technique used was a questionnaire method, with a 1-4 Likert scale measurement. The results of research that have been conducted by researchers from the internal factors that affect the learning output are those related to aspects of interest, motivation and physical health and external factors are the environment and infrastructure. The results of these two factors have moderate criteria with the method (Three-box Method), which means that these two factors have an influence on the output / learning outcomes of D3 Accounting students at Pamulang University.

The competence of farmers in cultivating comprises the accuracy of using production inputs, appropriate cultivation techniques, marketing of production, good administrative, and ability of using information technology.  This study aims to analyze internal and external factors affecting farmers' competence and formulate strategic priorities in improving the competence of rice farmers. The research used a survey method located in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency of Riau Province withnumber of sample of 50 rice farmers. The data source came from primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using SWOT and QSPM analysis. The results showed that the internal factors owned by farmers were the ability to use efficient marketing channels (strengths) and the use of communication tools that were still limited (weaknesses). While the external factors were the existence of government policies on food security (opportunities) and fluctuating production selling prices (threats). Through the IFE and EFE matrices, strategic positions are obtained in the ST strategy quadrant. QSPM assessment on the strategy of building cooperation with marketers as a permanent consumer is an alternative priority strategy to improve farmers' competence.

The background of this research is related to the development of the direction of the ability of school supervisors, especially school principals at the junior secondary level, which are influenced by internal factors including: the level of readiness of supervisors, principals, curriculum devices, administration and management, then the readiness of external factors which include: lack of available amenities; the lack of disciplines in accordance with the situation in the field as an effort to support the achievement of better education and teaching. The method used is descriptive meaning to describe the factors that affect the ability of school supervisors competency of the Principal in Pidie District. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentary study techniques, while the research subjects were supervisors, principals, totaling 20 people. The results showed that there were several factors that could influence the performance of school principals including: internal factors affecting the ability of supervisors, principals' competencies, among others, their level of education, experience and years of work, because this affected the level of readiness of school supervisors and principals in carrying out the activity. Then proceed with external factors that are considered to affect the ability of school supervisors, the competency of school principals, namely the availability of facilities and infrastructure as evidence to support the learning process, the achievement of learning directions as desired, improving the performance and supervision of school principals as well as adequate levels of welfare around 85,65%.

Enterprises’competitiveness determines the performance of businesses in general and banks in particular. Therefore, among internal and external factors impacting on businesses, internal factors play decisive roles. As the survey responded by 200 bank staffs of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development in Ba Ria- Vung Tau province (Agribank Ba Ria- Vung Tau) on October 2018 then analyzed via SPSS 20, there’re 05 internal factors affecting its competitiveness: marketing capability, technologcial capability, brand, service quality and professional compentence. Accordingly, 5 implications are suggested based on the research results in order to increase the competitiveness of Agribank Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

ABSTRAKPancasila sebagai dasar negara telah disepakati bersama sejak Indonesia merdeka. Penerapan mengenai nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila serta kesadaran bela negara oleh para pemuda menjadi hal yang penting dan tidak dapat disepelekan. Dari hal tersebut, dapat diketahui bagaimana masa depan Indonesia, apakah masih eksis sebagai negara kesatuan atau malah berpotensi terpecah belah. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, tujuanya adalah untuk mengetahui aktualisasi pengamalan Pancasila dan bela negara oleh para pemuda alumni SMKN 1 Temanggung angkatan 43. Serta untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi singkronisasi pemikiran mengenai pemahaman mereka pada nilai-nilai baik Pancasila dengan hal yang mereka lakukan dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskripif kuantitatif dengan memberikan sejumlah pertanyaan kepada 30 orang responden. Responden adalah alumni SMKN 1 Temanggung angkatan 43 dari berbagai jurusan . Hasilnya, setiap pemuda sesungguhnya memiliki tekat dalam hati yang kuat untuk berbuat baik dan bersikap baik. Namun dalam kenyataanya, beberapa dari mereka masih menjadikan pemikiran atau ide-ide itu hanya ada dalam khayalan. Atau dalam kata lain, penerapan dalam kehidupan nyata masih kurang. Hal ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, baik faktor internal maupu faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yang muncul dari diri sendiri sesunggunya merupakan refleksi dan akibat dari pengamatan terus menerus pada lingkungan tempat tinggal. Oleh karenanya, faktor internal dan eksternal ini saling memengaruhi satu sama lain. Pendidikan karakter memiliki andil yang besar dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang baik dalam pemikiran dan dapat menjadikan pemikiran baik tadi menjadi kenyataan dibuktikan dengan pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan bela negara dalam kehidupan sehari hari.Kata kunci : Aktualisasi, Pancasila, Bela Negara, PemudaABSTRACTPancasila as an national principle has been mutually agreed upon since Indonesia's independence. The implementation of the values contained in Pancasila and the awareness of defending the country by the youth is important and cannot be underestimated. From this, it can be seen what the future of Indonesia is like, what its still exists as a unitary state or even has the potential to be divided. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the actualization of the practice of Pancasila and state defense by youth alumni of SMKN 1 Temnggung class 43. As well as to find out whether there is synchronization of thoughts regarding their understanding of the good values of Pancasila with what they do in their daily lives. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods by giving a number of questions to 30 respondents. The respondents were alumni of SMKN 1 Temanggung, class 43 from various departments. As a result, every youth actually has a strong determination in his heart to do good and be kind. But in reality, some people still only make those thoughts or ideas exist in delusion. Or in other words, the application in real life is still lacking. This is caused by various factors, both internal and external factors. Internal factors that arise from oneself are actually a reflection and a result of continuous observation of the environment in which they live. Therefore, these internal and external factors influence each other. Character education has a big share in creating young people who are good at thinking and can make these good thoughts a reality as evidenced by the practice of the values of Pancasila and defending the country in everyday life.Keywords: Actualization, Pancasila, State Defense, Youth

This study aims to determine the factors that cause difficulty learning mathematics in the material lines and angles at school and at home.This type of research is qualitative research. Subjects in this study were four students who have difficulty learning math class VIIB SMPN 4 Sindang. In this research, the writer used a technique Bogdan and Biklen’stechniqueto data analysis. The writer also uses triangulation observer, place, time, and theory to examine the validity of the data obtained. Based on the research results and conclusions obtained are students’difficulties in learning mathematics of the lines and anglesmaterial are (a) misunderstanding of the students toward a matter to be determined; (b) ignorance of the students to the concept of lines and angles; (c) students to the inaccuracy of writing symbols (language) mathematics; (d) the inaccuracy of students on mathematical calculations. Meanwhile, the factors that cause students learning difficulties in learning lines and angles material is divided into two factors, namely the internal and external factors. Internal factors (in students) that caused learning difficulties in learning material lines and angles are the students are no interest towards learning mathematics and how/study habits of students. Meanwhile, extern factors (outside thestudents) students' learning difficulties in learning mathematics of the material lines and angles of SMPN 4 Sindang seen through two aspects, namely environmental factors of school and family environments (home).
