The concept of school-based management (MBS) gives full authority to schools and teachers in organizing education and teaching, planning, organizing, supervising, and leading human resources for the implementation of learning which corresponds to the purpose of the school. School management directly affects and determines the effectiveness of the curricula, learning tools and methods, the teaching time, and the learning process. Thus, efforts to improve the quality of education should begin with the improvement of school management, in addition to improving teacher quality and development of learning resources. The data of this survey study was described qualitatively which was taken from 111 schools across six districts in rural areas. The data collection techniques used in this study were semi-structured questionnaires, interview, Focus Group Discussion and Field observation. The result of the survey showed that there was a better school condition after UNICEF intervention, specifically related to school based management (MBS) based on the components of (1) School-based curricula and learning management; (2) School-based students’ management; (3) School based teaching and non-teaching personnel’s management; (4) School based funding management; (5) School-based networking between school and community; and (6) School based cultural and environmental aspects.

The school environment is also an inhibiting factor for students. For example, the way the lesson is presented is not good. In addition, there are still many parents who ignore the education of their students. This has an impact on students' low English skills. This study aims to analyze family and school conditions on students' English achievement. This research is a correlational study. The research subjects were all students of the class with 24 students. The method used to collect data is observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used in data collection is a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative statistics, and quantitative. The study results are that family conditions have a positive effect on learning achievement in learning English. This shows that when family conditions improve, student achievement will also increase. Partial test (t-test) obtained t count variable influence of family conditions = 6.607 so that Ha X1 against Y is accepted. Variable influence of school conditions t count = 3.019 so that Ha X2 to Y is accepted. The practical contribution of family conditions is 21.316%, school conditions are 39.678%. The key is that there is a simultaneous influence of family and school conditions on learning English subjects.

The researcher is interested to conduct this in order to know: Leadership of the principal in implementing school-based management at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin Academic Year 2019/2020. The research problem of this research was: How are the planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and the results of the implementation of School-Based Management at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin for the 2019/2020 academic year? The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources in this research were principals and teachers obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research indicated that 1) MBS planning at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin shows that before making plans, they seek a SWOT analysis first, there are threats, opportunities and know what the advantages and disadvantages of this school condition are.2) MBSOrganizing at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin; here we collected human resources and other resources because every school must have a school organization that has certain parts and has their respective duties to carry out these tasks to achieve each mutually agreed goal.3) MBS briefing at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin was the principal giving direction and motivating school academy members towards learning goals, including creating a climate that supports them in carrying out their professional work as school principals at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin 4) Supervision of MBS at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin was the principal conducted supervision continuouslyand guarantees educational activities in schools to achieve their goals, including controlling activities to fit the plan5) The result of implementing MBS at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin was that the implementation of school-based management at SDI. Hidayatul Muhsinin was good, because one of the efforts of the principal was to activate or manage all the facilities in this school.

Adiwiyata’s program was made to created awareness and knowledge in an attempt conservation of the environment. This program expected to every school residents to join school activities toward a healthy environment and avoiding negative environmental impact. This program aims to create a good school condition become a place to study of awareness school residents, so that in the next day school residents be responsible in an effort to save environment and sustainable development. One of school that approved Adiwiyata’s appreciation is Forestry Vocational School Pekanbaru. This research aims to determining ecological management strategies to support national adiwiyata school in Forestry Vocational School Pekanbaru. The method used was interviews, observation and test. To data analysis used SWOT. Environmentalist strategies is to increase participation of interviewer to support environmentally sound policies and to increase the quality of management and utilization of eco-friendly facilities and infrastructure so that it can be reference to give supporting to society or another school by involving the parents of protege and committee .

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kepimpinan distributif terhadap komitmen guru untuk berubah dengan keadaan dalam sekolah sebagai mediator. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kuantitatif dengan kaedah tinjauan. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 357 orang guru-guru sekolah menengah yang dipilih secara rawak daripada 20 buah sekolah di Daerah Seberang Perai Utara dan Seberang Perai Tengah di Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. Pendekatan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan perisian SmartPLS 3.2.7 digunakan untuk penganalisaan data. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa kepimpinan distributif mempunyai hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan komitmen guru untuk berubah secara langsung (β=0.472, p<.05). Keadaan dalam sekolah mempunyai kesan pengantaraan yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara kepimpinan distributif dan komitmen guru untuk berubah (β=0.228, p<.05). Dapatan kajian memberi implikasi terhadap pihak pembuat polisi dan pentadbir sekolah bahawa kepimpinan distributif dan keadaan dalam sekolah merupakan elemen yang penting untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru untuk berubah dalam pengajaran abad ke-21.Kata kunci: Keadaan dalam sekolah, kepimpinan distributif, komitmen guru untuk berubah, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), pembuat polisi.ABSTRACTThis study aims to investigate the relationships between distributed leadership and teachers’ commitment to change with in-school condition as the mediator. This study employed quantitative survey research design. Data consisted of 357 secondary teachers who were selected randomly from 20 schools in northern and central districts in Seberang Prai in Penang, Malaysia. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with SmartPLS 3.2.7 software was used for data analysis. Findings revealed significant and positive direct relationship between distributed leadership and teachers’ commitment to change (β=0.472, p<.05). In-school condition has significant mediating effects between distributed leadership and teachers’ commitment to change (β=0.228, p<.05). This research is an evaluation that aimed to know the process of implementation policy, factors that effected regrouping school program, the effects of regrouping, and how the effectiveness and efficiency of the regrouping program in SD Negeri Tukang 01 and 02, Pabelan, Semarang. This evaluation research used goal-free evaluation with the subject is SD Negeri Tukang 01 and 02 Pabelan. The collecting data used interview, observation, and documentation, then the data analysis was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing the conclusion. The result of this research showed that SD Negeri Tukang 01 and 02 already grouped for 4 years before the Regent's letter published. Then, the students, teachers, government’s rule, and school condition be the factors affected the regrouping program. This regrouping program has several impacts, they answered the teacher need and/or there was a teacher mutation. Then for students, there weren’t much effect because the students already friends, and then increasing the school’s facility. Besides that, regrouping program might increase school quality and the society would not be confused to choose the school for their child. But then, the alumni of these school can be difficult to get legalize for their certificate. This regrouping program is effective and efficient enough to do because the teacher problem can be solved, then the school facility can be maximized and about the budgeting organize by the main school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mewujudkan Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) di SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif. Perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang memperhatikan hak-hak anak, yakni memperhatikan waktu bermain dan istirahat, merencanakan materi ajar yang sesuai dengan kondisi anak, lingkungan pembelajaran disetting untuk memungkinkan siswa belajar aktif. Untuk aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan mengembangkan materi ajar yang tidak terbatas dalam buku teks, tetapi mengedepankan budaya lokal, melakukan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan karakteristik siswa, melaksanakan pembelajaran menyenangkan, memanfaatkan lingkungan, pengembangan minat dan bakat anak, tersedia waktu bermain, beristirahat, dan berolahraga, siswa diberi kesempatan untuk mengapresiasi seni budaya lokal, penggunaan alat permainan edukatif, menciptakan suasana belajar yang mengembangkan aspek peduli lingkungan. Pada bagian penilaian, dilakukan dengan melaksanakan penilaian autentik dalam hasil dan proses pembelajaran. Dari berbagai temuan, untuk menciptakan SRA melalui pembelajaran yang masih perlu diperhatikan adalah layanan inklusi.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The research was aimed at revealing information related to instructional activities to implement student-friendly school at Muhammadiyah Sapen Primary School. It was approached qualitative descriptively. The research reveals that to ensure student-friendly school condition, it was through rigorous planning and instructional activities by considering students characteristics, developing teaching materials, setting class layout conducive to active learning, conducting joyful learning, outdoor activities, developing student potentials and interests, plotting time dedicated for playing, utilizing educative games, and caring environment, utilizing authentic assessment both on process and result of learning without comparing the results each other’s. However, it needs special service for student with unique behavior to ensure that the condition is considered as student-friendly school.

ABSTRACTThis research is aimed to improve students’ understanding in integer arithmetic operations by using “Go Back Through The Door” game (gobak sodor) and problem posing in teaching learning process. The participation of this research was 4thgrade students in MI Nurul Jannah Sawaran Lor. This research was conducted in two cycles, cycle 1 and cycle 2. Each cycle consisted of two meetings which the students’ activity are around “Go Back Through The Door” game is students active participation which the cycle 1 showed the amount of 2,95 and was regarded as good category while the cycle 2 showed very good category in the amount of 3,65; the best score of students’ skill in problem posing especially presenting the problem based on the example given was 2,55 in cyle 1 which indicated good category and 3,75 in cycle 2 which indicate very good category; the biggest score of students’ comprehending in explaining the solution of the problem given by another students are 2,55 in cycle 1 and 3,5 in cycle 2 that sequentially indicated good and very good category; the test results of students' diagnostic test of cycle 1 is 52,8125 while testing the ability of the cycle 1 is 67,8375 and the cycle 2 is 88,4375; 15% of the students admitted that they did not completely comprehend and 10% of them did not comprehend at all, while in cycle 2 almost 80% of the students comprehended the lesson completely. The difficulties found in teaching learning process by using “Go Back Through The Door” game and problem posing are the availability of the teacher, the width of school yard and the fluency of students’ language. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclued that teaching integer arithmetic operation through “Go Back Through The Door” game and problem posing is effectively increase 4thgrade students’ understanding especially in MI Nurul Jannah Sawaran Lor, but it needs some adaption based on the school condition. Keywords: Learning, Go Back Through the Door Game, Problem Posing, Understanding. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap operasi hitung bilangan bulat melalui penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan permainan go back through the door (gobak sodor) dan problem posing pada siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Jannah Sawaran Lor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dimana kegiatan siswa seputar permainan go back through the door (gobak sodor) dan problem posing. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: frekwensi kegiatan siswa pada permainan go back through the door yang menonjol adalah keaktifan pemain, pada siklus I sebesar 2,95 kategori baik dan siklus II sebesar 3,65 kategori sangat baik; skor keterampilan siswa dalam problem posing yang paling menonjol pada menyajikan masalah dari contoh yang diberikan guru, skor siklus I sebesar 2,55 kategori baik dan siklus II sebesar 3,75 kategori sangat baik; skor pemahaman siswa yang paling menonjol pada menjelaskan penyelesaian masalah yang diberikan oleh teman sebaya pada siklus I sebesar 2,55 kategori baik dan siklus II 3,5 kategori sangat baik; pada tes hasil belajar siswa tes diagnosa siklus I sebesar 52,8125 sementara tes kemampuan siklus I sebesar 67,8375 dan siklus II sebesar 88,4375; tanggapan siswa pada siklus I ada 15% siswa kurang paham dan 10% siswa tidak paham, pada siklus II tidak ada siswa yang kurang paham 80% siswa sangat paham. Kendala yang ditemukan pada saat pembelajaran menggunakan permainan go back through the door (gobak sodor) dan problem posing pada ketersediaan guru, halaman sekolah yang luas, dan kefasihan berbahasa siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran operasi hitung bilangan bulat melalui permainan go back through the door (gobak sodor) dan problem posing efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Jannah Sawaran Lor, namun masih memerlukan penyesuaian dengan situasi dan kondisi di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Permainan Go Back Through the Door (Gobak Sodor), Problem Posing,    Pemahaman, Tanggapan siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik pada mata pelajaran fisika SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), (2) meng-identifikasi kendala keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik pada mata pelajaran fisika SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hubungan kebijakan kepala sekolah dan pelatihan yang telah diterima pendidik terhadap keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini terdiri atas: angket, observasi, dan wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik. Validitas instrumen penelitian diperoleh melalui expert judgments oleh dosen ahli. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik mata pelajaran SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta kategori baik. (2) Kendala keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik mata pelajaran fisika SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta meliputi jenis materi, waktu, kondisi sekolah, dan kemampuan pendidik yang dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja pendidik. (3) Hubungan kebijakan kepala sekolah terhadap keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik kategori kuat, dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pelatihan yang telah diterima pendidik dan keterlaksanaan penilaian autentik.Kata Kunci: keterlaksanaan, mata pelajaran fisika, penilaian autentik The Feasibility of Authentic Assessment on Physics Subject at State Senior High Schools  AbstractThis research aims to: (1) describe the feasibility of authentic assessment on physics subject at state senior high schools in Sleman regency Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), (2) identify the obstacles of the feasibility of authentic assessment on physics subject at state senior high schools in Sleman regency Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, and (3) describe the correlation between the headmaster’s policy and teacher training to feasibility of authentic assessment. The data were collected through: questionnaire, observation, and interview with headmasters, teachers, and students. The validity of research instrument was measured by expert judgements. The results of this study are as follow. (1) The feasibility of authentic assessment on physics subject at state senior high schools in Sleman regency Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is in good category. (2) The obstacles of the feasibility of authentic assessment on physics subject at state senior high schools in Sleman regency Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta include materials, time, school condition, and teacher’s ability which is affected by workload. (3) The correlation between headmaster’s policy and feasibility authentic assessment is in strong category, and there is no relationship between teacher training and authentic assessment implementation.Keywords: authentic assessment, feasibility, physics subject
