Therefore to improve student achievement required learning model with the model and the right strategy. One is the learning model of Problem Solving This study aims to improve student achievement. The location of this research at SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar with the number of students 46 people. The data in this study were obtained from the learning achievement test which is then carried deskriptif. The research analysis was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is done based on the following steps: ( 1 ) develop a plan of activities, ( 2 ) carry out actions , ( 3 ) observation, and ( 4 ) refleksi. The result of research shows that according to the preliminary observations of student learning outcomes are less active, easily bored, and the students' attention on teacher's explanation is so small that the average value of 72.97 students only. After the first cycle measures mastery learning materials increased to an average of 78,24 with 27 students and the students completed the unfinished 10 students . The results of the action in the second cycle after the material mastery learning achievement test given rise to an average of 84.19 with 35 students completed and unfinished 2 students. Percentage of mastery learning in the second cycle is in compliance with defined indicators of success and the cycle is declared not followed, with the conclusion that the use of problem solving learning model has been able to either to be used as an alternative in improving student achievement.

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in the Mathematical muple in grade III elementary schools with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out a pre test and post test to determine the progress of students. In cycle I students who completed after carrying out the post test were 53%. In cycle II participants students who complete after carrying out the post test are 90%. These results indicate that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students, especially Class III Mathematics at SDN 1 Randurejo.

In teaching, the teacher emphasizes identifying the dominant intelligence and learning styles to improve student achievement. However, exploring interpersonal and linguistic intelligence and its relationship to student achievement is still rarely done. This correlational research was conducted to describe the relationship between interpersonal and linguistic intelligence with high school students' mathematics learning achievement. The samples of this study were students of class XI SMA Budi Dharma Cancar Indonesia (n=30). The data were collected using a questionnaire and the pure grades of the students' midterm exams. The data analysis technique uses Product Moment Correlation as a statistical test tool to test the hypothesis of the relationship between two variables after fulfilling the prerequisite test. The results showed a positive relationship between interpersonal and linguistic intelligence and students' mathematics learning achievement. Although this study was limited to two bits of intelligence, it is essential to note that the findings of this study indicate that the number of intelligence at the dominant level can predict learning achievement in school.

This research was motivated by the low achievement of fifth grade students at SD N 01 Way Empulau Ulu on science subjects. Based on observations, the low scores of students are due to the lack of learning activities with good learning methods. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research related to learning methods with the cooperative model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in order to improve student achievement in science subjects. This study aims to see whether the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method can bind the achievements of fifth grade students of SD N 01 Way Empulau Ulu on science subjects. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the hypothesis: The application of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type can improve the science learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD N 01 Way Empulau Ulu. Based on observations and analysis of data, it can be concluded several things including: 1) Application of the Cooperative Learning Model Type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) can improve the learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD N Way Empulau Ulu. 2) There is an increase in student learning achievement from cycle I to cycle II by 15%. Keywords : Teams Games Tournament (TGT), student achievement, Science.

This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. This study aims to determine whether using power point media in PBM can improve Mathematics learning achievement in Class III-A Students at SD Negeri 11 Cakranegara Semester I Academic Year 2017/2018. The place of research in SD Negeri 11 Cakranegara, for 6 (six) months from July to December 2017 with research subjects of class III-A students totaling 27 people. Data collection techniques used by observation, evaluation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique is qualitative descriptive. In the study, the final success indicator for student learning achievement was set at 85% of students reaching 70. The indicator was reached in the second cycle, so the action research was carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of 3 (three) meetings. The results of the study showed that after the use of power point media in PBM, the student learning achievement increased by 8.7% with an average value in the first cycle of 68.15 and in the second cycle it increased to 76.85. While for learning completeness there was an increase of 29.63% from the first cycle of 62.96% and in the second cycle it increased to 92.59%. Thus, the use of Power point media in PBM can effectively improve student achievement, especially students of class III-A on Mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 11 Cakranegara.

This study aims to determine the mathematics learning achievement of class XI MIPA 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Baureno Bojonegoro according to predetermined targets. The target of this study was ≥75% of the students of class XI MIPA 2 who met the KKM mathematics score of ≥75. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using models from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart and executed in two cycles. This study applies the CORE type of cooperative learning model which has 4 components, namely (1) connecting (connecting) (2) organizing (organizing); (3) reflecting (reflecting); and (4) extending. The subjects of this study were 35 students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Baureno. Before the action was taken, 24 students of class XI MIPA 2 scored above the KKM based on the UAS scores. The data used in this research is learning achievement obtained from the test results of each cycle supported by observation data and questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in student achievement in class XI MIPA 2 where as many as 30 students (83.33%) scored above the KKM.
