<p><em>This paper aims to: (1). To find out the value of Pancasila as a strengthening of the nation's character building. (2). To instill the value of Pancasila in building national character. (3). As an illustration of the importance of safeguarding the value of Pancasila and strengthening the nation's character in educational institutions. The writing method used in this research is literature study. Benefits of Writing: (1). As a scientific study, this writing can be used as reading material and reference about the value of Pancasila as a reinforcement of the building character. (2). For the author to get an overview of how the value of Pancasila is in building the character of the nation. (3). Providing information as an illustration of the value of Pancasila and efforts to build the nation's character.</em></p>

This Islamic literature study tried to arrange the concept of education in Islam. To successfully compile, a series of reading reviews have been carried out starting from the formulation of the problem and continued with the collection of data from various sources related to the topic of discussion. After the collection of reading material and continued with the process of analysis in depth so that the reading material receives high understanding and interpretation. Finally, the preparation is done carefully and ensures the results of the study or findings in answering the problem of meeting the principles of validity and reliability as suggested by each scientific study. Finally the findings can be compiled, among others, that the principles and concepts of education in Islam is holding to the concept of a balance between world life and the hereafter. That is, among others, the difference between Islamic education and non-Islamic education with guidelines on the Koran and alhadis. Therefore, this Islamic study has contributed to the development of teaching and community what is a balance life in this world through researching the basic concept of life education based on Islamic perspective.

ABSTRACT Education contributes greatly to the progress of a nation and is a vehicle for translating constitutional messages and means in building national character (character building). An intelligent society will give a smart nuance of life and will progressively form independence. Schools as one of the educational institutions which are an expansion of the individual's social environment for the development of social relations capabilities and at the same time are new environmental factors that are very challenging or even worrying for him. This is because the factors of the situation or circumstances that affect the learning process in students related to the students themselves, the state of learning, the learning process, teachers who provide lessons, friends learn and get along, as well as learning programs taken. Meunasah is one of the basic levels of traditional Islamic educational institutions in Aceh. Which to date continues to be vehement with recitation and other civic activities. aims to find out the origins and the development of meunasah as a basic traditional Islamic educational institution in Aceh. This research applied a literature study by collecting various references. The results showed that meunasah had existed since the formation of the Islamic community in Aceh. The development of meunasah as a traditional Aceh Islamic education institution was only discovered during the period of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636).

Ali Bin Abi Talib once said that children should be educated in accordance with the  development of the times. The Ali bin Abi Talib’s statement could be considered as his attention more to the development of human civilization. For that reason, there should be studies focused on the role of educational institutions in facing the challenges of the times. On this stand, the writer raises the existence of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) for being considered to have been able to survive amid the onslaught of civilization increasingly obscuring cultural identity. In addition, this study also aims to identify and discuss the role of pesantren in the modern era. This is a literature study using a descriptive and exploratory approach. It can be concluded that pesantren are non-formal Islamic educational institutions. Pesantren have permanent and distictive methods and learning models. The purpose of pesantren education is the same as Islamic education in general, instilling a sense of virtue, familiarizing themselves with courtesy, preparing for a holy, sincere and honest life entirely. Pesantren could be seen from three aspects: (a) pesantren that are seen from facilities and infrastructures, (b) pesantren that are seen from disciplines taught, and (c) pesantren that are seen from the fields of knowledge.

The purpose of this study was to describe the explanation of gifts in counseling based on ethical and cultural considerations. The method in this research is a literature study, namely by collecting reading material from various scientific articles and then comparing theories and research results, which are then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of a literature study conducted that counselors can receive gifts from counselees by considering aspects of culture, time of giving, and types of gifts given.

Abstract: The study has been chosen because it is very interesting to explore. Indonesia has diverse arts and cultures in its tradition. Within such diversities, there are significant values to develop the national character, one of them being that of Reog Ponorogo. The purpose of this research is to reveal that the art of Reog is attractive and full of magnificent values. During this reform era, in which corruptible practices and radicalism are rampant, the values contained in the Reog art can be used as a foundation for better national character building. The methods used in this study were hermeneutics and heuristics. The former was employed to disclose the meaning contained in the research object in the form of life phenomenon through understanding and interpretation, while the latter was used to discover and develop other new methods in science especially philosophy. The result of this research is that the art of Reog Ponorogo is part the typically original culture from Ponorogo. When viewed from the perspective of hierarchical values, Reog contains holiness, spiritual, living, and joyful values. The Indonesian nation current¬ly faces corruption, terrorism, radicalism, and globalization challenges that may lead to the weakling of the national character. The values of Reog art can be used as a source of inspiration and may contribute to the character building of the nation. What needs to be presented is the strengthening of the four pillars of the nation and the reflection of the five essential virtues of the Reog art. Abstrak: Tema ini dipilih karena sangat menarik untuk dijelajahi. Indonesia memiliki beragam seni dan budaya dalam tradisi. Dalam ke¬beragaman tersebut, ada nilai-nilai yang signifikan untuk me¬ngembang¬kan karakter nasional, salah satunya adalah bahwa Reog Ponorogo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan bahwa seni Reog menarik dan penuh dengan nilai-nilai yang luar biasa. Selama era reformasi ini, di mana praktek-praktek yang fana dan radikalisme yang merajalela, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam seni Reog dapat digunakan sebagai landasan untuk membangun karakter bangsa yang lebih baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah herme¬neutika dan heuristik. Yang pertama digunakan untuk meng-ungkapkan makna yang terkandung dalam objek penelitian dalam bentuk fenomena kehidupan melalui pemahaman dan interpretasi, sedangkan yang kedua digunakan untuk menemukan dan mengembangkan metode baru lainnya dalam ilmu terutama filsafat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa seni Reog Ponorogo adalah bagian budaya biasanya asli dari Ponorogo. Bila dilihat dari perspektif nilai-nilai hirarkis, Reog me¬ngandung kekudusan, spiri¬tual, hidup, dan nilai-nilai yang menyenang¬kan. Bangsa Indonesia saat ini menghadapi korupsi, terorisme, radikalisme, dan tantangan globalisasi yang dapat menyebabkan lemahya karakter nasional. Nilai-nilai seni Reog dapat digunakan sebagai sumber inspirasi dan dapat berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter bangsa. Apa yang perlu disajikan adalah penguatan empat pilar bangsa dan refleksi dari lima kebajikan penting dari seni Reog. Keywords: reog Ponorogo, nilai, karakter bangsa, Babad Ponorogo.

Diniyah education has been implemented by all educational institutions in Indonesia, starting from the lowest level, namely SD/MI to SMA/MA. Initially this diniyah education was implemented in Islamic boarding schools during the month of Ramadan. The aim is to foster morals, character, and strengthen worship for students during the month of Ramadan. The purpose of this study was to identify the role of diniyah education carried out in the world of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the role of diniyah education can be measured through 4 things, namely increasing student religiosity, developing sustainable education and in accordance with the development of the times, being patient with calamities, and increasing husnuzon attitudes in students.

Private Universities that were established by society through nonprofit institution have autonomy in managing their finances. Autonomy gives rise to the diversity of Private Universities’ financial statement. The government provides a tax exemption facility for the remnant of nonprofit institutions engaged in education with certain conditions, regulated by PMK 80/PMK.03/2009. This research was conducted to analyze the effect of the quality of the financial statements of Private Universities  on the execution of the tax exemption facility. Research was conducted by literature study method. The result of the research shows that the quality of the Private Universities’ financial statements  affect the execution of PMK 80/PMK.03/2009. Therefore, financial statements standardization and remnant recording regulation for Private Universities is needed, in order to optimizing the execution of the tax exemption facility given to educational institutions and to make sure the facility is given appropriately. The data collection technique used is literature study. This research use qualitative methods  in analyzing data and facts about private universities’ management and the taxation policies of non-profit organizations.

<p>This study aims to reveal how the real condition of management of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) or Islamic Senior High School in Serang is, how the understanding of Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) for the people of MAN 2 and MAN 1 Serang is, and how the implementation of MBM in MAN 2 and MAN 1 Serang.</p><p>This study has a substantial meaning, both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, this study can improve the concept of MBM of previous researchers. Besides, it also provides feedback to improve education policies of MBM, and the correct implementation of MBM that has been conducted before. Practically, this study has several meanings, such as: providing inputs on the implementation of MBM to Madrasah Aliyah as an analyzed Islamic educational institutions, providing motivation to all personnel of madrasah, particularly the Head of Madrasah Aliyah in order to improve the autonomy of madrasah management through MBM, and the results of this study can be used as reading material and guidelines for other madrasah.</p><p>This study is a qualitative research, which aims to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, action and others. Qualitative research is a research that has characteristics, which is the data are asked in a reasonable state or as they are (natural setting), by not converted them in the form of symbols or numbers. This study is a qualitative research that invalidates data in the form of symbols or numbers, but rather in the form of words or sentences.</p><p>This study employs a managerial, administrative and sociological approach. The managerial approach is used to see the extent to which the implementation of Madrasah-Based Management is implemented in Madrasah Aliyah. The administrative approach is used to analyze the extent to which the administrative system is applied in Madrasah Aliyah as a form of activity of MBM. The sociological approach cannot be separated from the activity of MBM, because sociology is the study of how humans live in a society.</p>

The decline in a social relationship has led people, particularly teenagers, to an unwillingness to help others. Therefore, there needs such an effort to help teenagers realize the importance of helping others. One possible effort is to hold a character building program. In this case, the writer involves Pancasila as the fundamental principle of the program to relate its values to the helping behavior the teenagers might show. Accordingly, this study focuses on finding the helping behavior related to the values contained in the Sila of Pancasila shown by the teenagers. This descriptive-qualitative study uses Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and literature study methods to collect data. From the research, the writer finds Sila 2 Kemanusiaan Yang Adil dan Beradab fits the helping behavior shown by the teenagers the most. The helping behavior shown relates, particularly, with the following values of Pancasila, i.e., "To recognize equality both in rights and responsibility, to uphold the values of humanity," and "To promote fairness to others." Nevertheless, teenagers have not shown yet the one related with "To practice tolerance and show empathy."
