The objective of this study is to know the effects of learning models (problem solving and project based learning) and linguistic intelligence  on the students of persuasive writing skill of the fourth semester students  of English Department, State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang, in the academic year of 2016-2017. The writer used linguistic intelligence test and persuasive writing test to collect the data. The data was analyzed  statistically by using two-factor ANOVA at 0.05 significance level. The results of this study showed that (1) The students’ persuasive writing skill taught through problem solving was higher than those who were  taught through project based learning. (2) There was interaction effect between learning models and linguistic intelligence toward persuasive writing skill of the fourth semester students of English Department, State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. (3) The students’ persuasive writing skill who were taught by using problem solving and having high linguistic intelligence is higher than those who were taught through  project based learning and having high linguistic intelligence. (4)  The students’ persuasive writing skill who were taught through  problem solving and having low linguistic intelligence is lower than those who were taught through project based learning and having low linguistic intelligence.

The aim of the study is to find out the effect of learning model and creative thinking ability on students' recount writing skill. It was an experimental study with 2x2 factorial design and analysed using two-factor ANOVA at 0.05 significance level. The sample was 32 students and divided into two groups, namely experiment and control. The data were collected using recount writing test in English and creative thinking ability test. The research finding showed: (1) the students' recount writing skill taught by project-based learning model was higher than by genre-based learning model, (2) there was interaction between learning model and creative thinking ability on students' recount writing skill, (3) the students' recount writing skill with high creative thinking ability taught by project-based learning model was higher than those by genre-based learning model, and (4) the students' recount writing skill with low creative thinking ability taught by project-based learning model was lower than those by genre-based learning model.

Linguistic intelligence, critical thinking and report writing tests are used to collect the data. Two-factor ANOVA at 0.05 significance level are applied statistically. The findings of this research showed that (1) The students’ report writing skill taught through problem solving was higher than those who were taught through project based learning. (2) There were interactions among problem solving, project based learning, linguistic intelligence and critical thinking on the students’ report writing. (3) The students’ report writing who were taught through problem solving and having high linguistic intelligence and high critical thinking is higher than those who were taught through project based learning and having high linguistic intelligence and high critical thinking (4) The students’ report writing skill who were taught through problem solving and having low linguistic intelligence and low critical thinking is lower than those who were taught through project based learning and having low linguistic intelligence and low critical thinking.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem-solving learning models on students’ learning outcomes in the acid-base solutions topic in SMA Negeri 1 Buko on Academic Year 2018-2019. This type of research was a true experiment with a non-randomized posttest two group design. The population of this research was all students of class XI MIA, the sampling techniques was saturated sampling methods. The sample used was students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 as experimental class 1 and experimental class 2. The testing of students’ learning outcomes data was using one-party statistical analysis t-test to test the completeness of individual learning outcomes and classical completeness test to test the overall percentage of mastery learning. The results of data analysis obtained, the mean experimental class 1 (X1) was 75.5 with a standard deviation of 10.71 and the average experimental class 2 (X2) was 76.43 with a standard deviation of 12.77. The results of hypothesis testing with one-party t-test statistics in the experimental class 1 and 2 was obtained tcount > ttable (2.321 > 1.740; 2.306 > 2.101) with a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom 18 and 19, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Then, the result of the classical completeness test obtained in the experimental class 1 were 80% and experimental class 2 were 80.95%. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the problem-solving learning model is effective against students’ learning outcomes in the acid-base solutions topic in SMA Negeri 1 Buko on Academic Year 2018-2019.

This study aimed at investigating the effect of Project-Based Learning on students’ writing skill of grade 9 at SMPN 3 Kuta Selatan. This study employed embedded mixed method design, in which the quantitative data were considered as the main data. The data were collected through guided interview, observation, and writing test. Paired sample t-test was used for the quantitative data analysis. The result showed that Project-Based Learning has significant effect on students’ English writing skill (sig. = .000 < α = .05). Project-Based Learning also revealed potentially promotes students’ critical thinking, communication, and creativity through collaborative work. In general, it can be concluded that Project-Based Learning significantly improves junior high school students’ writing skill in English as a Foreign Language.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak Taman Kanak-kanak. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan desain nonequevalent pretest-posttest control group desaign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus III Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok B2 Taman Kanak-kanak Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa yang berjumlah 21 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Dana Punia yang berjumlah 26 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan kerjasama sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dari hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas varians, diketahui bahwa sampel bersistribusi normal dan varians populasinya homogen, maka untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak (t= 21,551, sig= 0.000).Kata Kunci : Kerjasama, metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek. This study aimed at determining the effect of project based learning method on the cooperation ability of children at Kindergarten. This study was quasi-experimental research using a nonequevalent pretest-posttest control group desaign. Population in this research were all children of group B Kindergarten in Cluster III of Buleleng Subdistrict in Academic Year 2017/2018. The sample in this research were group B2 Kindergarten Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa which amounted to 21 children as experiment group and group B Kindergarten of Dana Punia which amounted to 26 children as control group. Data collection method used in this research was observation method used to collect data about the cooperation ability before and after treatment. From the test of normality and homogeneity variance, it was known that the sample were normally distributed and the variance was homogeneous, so to test the hypothesis t-test was used with 5% significance level. The result of the research showed that there was an effect of project based learning method on the cooperation ability of children (t = 21,551, sig = 0.000). keyword : Cooperation, project-based learning method.

The objective of this research was to find out whether there was an increase on students’ and teacher’s activity, students’ creativity, and students’ writing skill through the implementation of project based learning (PjBL). The research design was a classroom action research. The subjects were the first graders of class Tata Kecantikan Kulit (TKK) or Skin and Beauty Treatment at Vocational High School State 3 Metro, known as SMKN 3 Metro, in the second semester, academic year 2015/2016. This action research was done by doing: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation and data collection; and 4) reflection. Meanwhile, the PjBL was done through six steps, i.e.: 1) determining the project; 2) planning the steps of doing the project; 3) scheduling the project implementation; 4) completing project with guide and supervision from the teacher; 5) making report and presenting project result; 6) evaluatiing process and project result. The instruments of this research were students and teacher observation, creativity assesssment, and writing skill assesssment. The findings showed that the students’ and teacher’s activity gradually increased in each cycle. PjBL implementation also seemed to be effective in increasing the students’ creativity and writing skill. It indicated that by applying PjBL, the aspects of students’ and teacher’s activity in learning process, students’ creativity and writing skill could be directly influenced by the treatment.Key words: PjBL, activity, creativity, writing skill

This study is aimed to know teaching learning process in writing by using padlet application for Primary Education Department’s students whether there is improvement of students writing English skill by using that application. Subject of this research was third semester students of Primary Education Department. This is a Classroom Action Research. In collecting the data, the writer  used some techniques: observation, interview, and writing test. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Result of this research were: those application can be implemented as online writing practices every time that made students ability improve, the situation of wall in padlet can stimulate students to explore idea because they could upload video, recording, or picture suitable with topic that can support their writing. Students improvement in writing can be seen from postest score in every cycles. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that implementing padlet application can improve students Non English Department’ writing skill.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of systematic problem solving learning models on basic physics learning outcomes 2. Based on the hypothesis proposed in this study, there is an effect of systematic problem solving learning models on basic physics learning outcomes 2. This research was conducted in the Physics Education Study Program. FKIP UHAMKA. The method used in this research is the experimental method. With the target population in this study were all students of the Physics Education Study Program FKIP UHAMKA, while the affordable population was semester 2 students. The sample was taken randomly (random sampling) by taking 20 students from semester 2 students. The design used in the study was one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a written test (paper and pencil test), namely a description of 15 questions. Based on the hypothesis test using the t test, the t count was 2.78. While t table is obtained from table t with a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = 20, which is 1.725. Because tcount> ttable 2.78> 1.725, H0 is rejected. This H1 is accepted, which states that there is an effect of systematic problem solving learning models on student physics learning outcomes on direct current material.

A learning can run well supported by an appropriate learning model. In this study the Search Solve Create Share (SSCS) and Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models are used. This research is a quantitative study using t test. The purpose of this study is to study whether there are differences between the SSCS learning model and the TPS learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a quantitative study with a research design. Random Design Group Pretest-Posttest Group. The results of this study obtained a P-value smaller than the significance level. Hypothesis testing from this study provides conclusions about the TPS learning model better than the SSCS learning model in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

<p><em>This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was a research that was conducted by a teacher in order to find out solutions of any problems found during teaching and learning process. In this research, it was done to explain whether by using an outline technique could improve the students’ writing paragraph and also to investigate some factors that influenced the students in writing descriptive paragraph. This research was done at grade VIII B of SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh in academic year 2017/2018. From the result of the test in this research, the result was increased in cycle and two. In cycle one, the mean score was 58.25% and it increased to 76.87%, it increased 18.63% point. It meant that teaching writing through outline improved the students’ writing skill. The improvements were also improved on the result of each sub-indicators of writing test between cycle 1 and 2. </em></p>
