The objective of this research is to find out different impacts of the teaching methods; practice style and command style. This research is conducted in the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Padang during the academic year of 2010/2011. The applied research method is an experimental method. The sample consists of 40 (college) students who are divided into 4 groups of 10 persons. The data analysis technique is performed by a two-ways variance analysis followed by the tukey test at the significance level = 0, 05. The results of this research are: 1) in all aspects, the skill of butterfly stroke by the teaching method of command style is better than the practice style, 2) for the students with high motor skills, the skill of butterfly stroke by the teaching method of practice style is better than the command style, and 3) for the students with low motor skills, the skill of butterfly stroke by the teaching method of command style is better than the practice style. This experimental study aims to determine differences in teaching methods and eye and hand coordination of drive punch skills in playing tennis. The teaching method is divided into three, namely teaching the reflection of the ball to the wall, teaching the throwing machine, and teaching in pairs. This research was conducted at Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research applied experimental method using a 2x3 factorial design. The sample of this research consist of sixty students, they are divided into six groups that consist of ten people each. The data analysis technique was the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Tukey test at the significance level α = 0.05. The three teaching methods in this study have different influences on the drive skills in playing tennis. This research shows that in order to improve the drive skills in playing tennis, it is necessary to involve hand-eye coordination factors in which the physical condition elements mentioned above. A better influence compared to the method of teaching bounce ball to the wall and the throwing machine teaching method on the drive punch skill in playing tennis. Based on the findings in this study, it is expected to have implications for the development of teaching methods to improve punch drive skills in playing tennis.

This study investigates the differences in exercise teaching methods, commando teaching methods, and motor skills on long jump skills. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 17 Serang, Banten Province. The research design used a 2 X 2 factorial. A random cluster technique was used in sampling. The number of samples taken was 40 students divided into four groups, each consisting of 10 students who were separated using the Verducci technique. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) in two ways was used in analyzing the data and continued with the Tukey test with a significance level of a  = 0.05, with the results: (1) overall there was a difference in the effect between the training style teaching method and the command style on long jump skills, (2) students who have high motor educability, the exercise style teaching method is better than the command style teaching method for long jump skills, (3) There is no significant difference in students who have low motor ability to the command style teaching method with the exercise style teaching method learning outcomes long jump skills, (4) There is a positive interaction between teaching methods and motor skills for long jump skills. This research needs to be followed up in the future to provide input to teachers and researchers. If you want to measure the motor ability of long jump learning, you can use the training teaching method to get maximum results.

The aim of this experimental study was todetermine the effect of all teaching methods, part, mixed and motivation result learning toward of flat service skill courts tennis. Learning motivation is divided into two parts, namely high andlow.This research was conducted at Faculty of Sport ScienceState University of Macassar,the academic year 2014/2015. Experimental using factorial design method 2x3. The sample consisted of 60 students were divided into 6 groups, each consisting of 10 students. Data analysis technique is a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's test at a significance level of α= 0.05. The results of this study indicate that ( (1) overall teaching methods higher effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skills (2) overall teaching methods lower effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skills, (3) overall teaching methods lower effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skills,(4) there is interaction between the overall teaching methods, part teaching methods and combined teaching methods and learning motivation outcomes flat tennis service skills,(5) overall teaching methods higher effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a high learning motivation, (6) overall teaching methods lower effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a high learning motivation, (7) part teaching methods lower effect of the combined teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a high learning motivation, (8) overall teaching methods higher effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a low learning motivation, (9) overall teaching methods lower effect of the part teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a low learning motivation, (10) part teaching methods lower effect of the combined teacing methods on learning outcomes flat tennis service skillsusing a low learning motivation.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara metode visualisasi dan relaksasi terhadap peningkatan skor jarak 10 meter pada atlet panahan tingkat pemula. Sejumlah 34 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Pengukuran hasil penelitian menggunakan instrument menembakan 3 anak panah sebanyak 5 seri dengan total skor tertinggi 150. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis uji T. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian 1) Perbandingan data awal dan akhir pada metode visualisasi diperoleh nilai thitung 5,100 dan ttabel sebesar 2,119, berarti terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan hasil metode visualisasi terhadap kemampuan memanah jarak 10 meter. 2) Perbandingan data awal dan akhir pada metode relaksasi diperoleh nilai thitung 5,442 dan t tabel sebesar 2,119, berarti terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan hasil metode relaksasi terhadap kemampuan memanah jarak 10 meter. 3) Perbandingan data tes akhir antara metode visualisasi dan relaksasi terhadap kemampuan memanah jarak 10 meter, rata-rata metode visualisasi sebesar 32,36 standar deviasi 18,12 dan varian 328,51. Rata-rata metode relaksasi sebesar 28,95, standar deviasi 17,81 dan varian 317,37. Kemudian diperoleh nilai thitung 0,553, sedangkan nilai ttabel sebesar  0,203. Jadi thitung > ttabel. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, metode visualisasi lebih efektif dibanding metode relaksasi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan memanah jarak 10 meter pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu olahraga Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  Kata Kunci          : Panahan, Visualisasi, Relaksasi ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison between visualization and relaxation methods to an increase in the 10 meter distance score for beginner archery athletes. A total of 34 students of the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Jakarta are the research subjects. This research is using experimental method. Measurement of research results using the instrument shooting 3 arrows as many as 5 series with the highest total score of 150. Analysis of research data using the T test analysis technique. There was a significant increase in the results of the visualization method on the 10 meter distance archery ability. 2) Comparison of the initial and final data on the relaxation method, the t-count value is 5.442 and the t table is 2.119, which means that there is a significant increase in the results of the relaxation method on the ability to shoot at 10 meters distance. 3) Comparison of final test data between visualization and relaxation methods to archery ability at 10 meters distance, the average visualization method is 32.36 standard deviation 18.12 and variant 328.51. The average relaxation method is 28.95, the standard deviation is 17.81 and the variant is 317.37. Then the t-count value was 0.553, while the t-table value was 0.203. So tcount> ttable. So it can be concluded, the visualization method is more effective than the relaxation method in increasing the ability of 10 meters archery in students of the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Jakarta.  Keywords: Archery, Visualization, Relaxation

Learning in school or in every educational institution has an important role as a media liaison between knowledge and students or students. There are many learning methods or models used in education. Of the many methods or modes, there is one of them is a clarification value technology (VCT) model. The teaching method is a knowledge of teaching methods used by a teacher or instructor. Another understanding is the presentation technique mastered by the teacher to teach or present learning materials to students in class both individually and in groups. the learning method by clarifying the value of the value clarification technique is teaching to shape students in finding and determining a value that is considered good in dealing with a problem through the process of analyzing existing values and embedded in students. Meanwhile, learning outcomes are abilities students have after they have a learning experience. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of learning outcomes of a particular institution. In this study the object of research from an educational institution that is competent in the field of flight is used. The institution is Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. The subject of learning taken was Regulation of Dangerous Goods at Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. In addition, this study was also conducted to determine differences in learning outcomes of cadets in the Lessons on Dangerous Goods Regulations in Surabaya Aviation using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research carried out is included in the design of one group pretest and possttest research. the research design that contained pretest before being given treatment and posttest after being treated. This research was conducted at Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. The data analysis technique used is the different test. Based on data management and analysis results, it can be concluded that the application of learning of Value Clarification Techniques can improve the learning outcomes of cadets. This is evidenced by the differences in learning outcomes of Cycle I and Cycle II significantly

This study aims to determine the relationship between leg explosive power, wrist flexion and hand eye coordination on shoot lay-up ability. This type of research is a type of descriptive research. The research variables consisted of independent variables namely leg explosive power, wrist flexion and hand eye coordination, while the dependent variable was shoot lay-up ability. The population in this study were all students of the Health and Recreation Physical Education Study Program FKIP Mulawarman State University with a sample of 30 people. The data analysis technique used was correlation and regression analysis using the SPSS Version 22.00 system at a significance level of 95% or (α) = 0.05. Proceeding from the results of data analysis, concluded that: 1) There was a relationship between leg explosive power and lay-up shoot capability, as evidenced by the calculated r value (ro) = 0.680 (P = 0.000 <α: 0.05); 2) There is a correlation between wrist flexing and shoot lay-up ability, it is proven that the value of r count (ro) = 0.734 (P = 0.000 <α: 0.05); 3) There is a correlation between eye hand coordination and shoot lay-up ability, it is proven that the value of r count (ro) = 0.689 (P = 0.000 <α: 0.05); and 4) There is a relationship between leg explosive power, wrist flexion and hand eye coordination to the shoot lay-up ability, as evidenced by the calculated r value (ro) = 0.768 (P = 0.000 <α: 0.05).

Self-esteem is based on positive or negative evaluations of oneself, whereas social comparison is the effort of defining oneself through comparison with other people. Online social comparison is different from offline social comparison. An individual’s self-esteem can be predicted from their interactions on social media through social comparison. This research aims to understand the idea of self-esteem amongst the Instagram users. In the process, this study explores the idea of comparison, and evaluates the social comparison as a predictor of self-esteem. This research uses descriptive and predictive methods, with a population of 2016 students of the Faculty of Psychology Education of the State University of Malang. The sample was taken using the saturation sampling technique or census. The research uses the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure. The data were further analysed with a descriptive analysis technique using mean value, whereas the hypothesis test uses the simple linear regression technique. The results show that Ho is rejected with a significance level of 0.000, R-value of 0.382, and R-squared value of 0.146, which implies that social comparison contributes towards the existence of self-esteem by 14.6%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of command and reciprocal teaching styles and arm muscle strength on learning outcomes of shot put. This research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 2 Kuala Langkat, this study used treatment by level 2 x 2. The sample consisted of 44 students divided into four groups, each consisting of 11 pesilat. The data analysis technique is the analysis of two-lane variance (ANOVA) and then followed by the Tukey test at the significance level α = .05. The results of this study indicate that (1) 1. There are differences in learning outcomes of shot putting between reciprocal teaching styles and command teaching styles. (2) Learning Outcomes Shot of students with high arm muscle strength taught by using reciprocal teaching styles is no better than command teaching style. (3) Learning Outcomes Refuse bullets of students with low arm muscle strength taught by using the command teaching style is better than the reciprocal teaching style. (4) There is an interaction between the Learning Model and Arm Muscle Strength on Shot Ability.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of split squat jump and lateral box push off exercises on front kick speed of wushu athletes of Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The free variable consists of a split squat jump exercise and a lateral box push off, while the dependent variable is the speed of the wushu front kick. The population of this study are 27 wushu athletes in Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University. The research sample consisted of 16 male athletes with purposive sampling technique. After the pre-test, both groups were given exercise 16 times with exercise prequention 3 times per week. Group 1 of 8 people were given the practice of split squat jump training, while group 2 of 8 people were given lateral box push off training. The research instrument is a front kick speed test, using petching facets and stop watch. Data obtained from pretest and post-test were analyzed by t-test at significance level α = 0.05. Based on the data analysis, it was found that group 1 with split squat jump exercise had a significant effect on increasing front kick speed, tcount = 2.53&gt; ttable = 1.86. Group 2 with lateral box exercise push off also affect the increase of front kick speed, tcount = 2.61&gt; ttable = 1.86. While between the two forms of exercise there is no different effect on the front kick speed, tcount = 0.19

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the teaching style of practice and inclusive teaching style on groups of students who have high and low motor abilities in the process of learning the basic techniques of sepak takraw. This research method uses experiments factorial 2x2 with by level design, the population of this study was 82 students of physical education study programs at the Riau Islamic University. The sample of this study was 44 people taken using purposive sampling technique, consisting of 22 people with high motor ability and 22 people with low motor ability. Furthermore the sample was divided into four groups of 11 people each. The data analysis technique used ANAVA with the results of the t-dunnet advanced test. (1) For students who have a high motor ability, the results of the learning of the takraw  basic techniques of teaching practice style groups are better than inclusi teaching styles, with t0 = 5.06 ≥ ttable 1.67 then H0 is rejected. (2) Students who have low motor ability, the results of the learning of the basic techniques of takraw group inclusi teaching style is better than the teaching style of practice, with t0 = -1.81 ≤ ttable 1.67 then H0 is rejected. (3) There is an interaction between teaching style and motor ability on the results of the basic takraw learning techniques, with p-value = 0,000 ≤ 0.05 or H0 rejected.
