Kata kunci: Kesadahan, LDR, LED Workshop On Detector of Water Hardness Based On Light Dependet Resistor In Giritontro Village, Giritontro District, Wonogiri RegencyAbstract           Some areas in Wonogiri contain hardness in its soil, while some people consume water that come from the soil. In community service activity in 2016, we found problems in the community in Giritontro, Wonogiri that is the difficulties to detect the hardness in the water that people consume. As a result, many people who suffer from internal diseases caused by the deposition of lime in their bodies such as kidney disease. Therefore, the PPM team of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Yogyakarta State University built a hardness detection system in liquid based Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Light Dependent Resistor (LDR). LEDs are used to irradiate fluids with different lime levels, then LDR will detect the LED light passing through the liquid. The size of the LDR output value will depend on the lime content in the liquid. People are very enthusiastic and start using this tool to detect the presence of limestone in the water they consume. Keywords: Hardness, LDR, LED

Background: This study was an assessment of educators’ levels of concern on the adoption of Education 5.0: A case of a State University in Zimbabwe. Education 5.0 being a new curriculum reform in Zimbabwe which focuses on five pillars namely, research, teaching, community service, innovation and industrialisation. Educators are directly involved in implementing education reforms hence the importance of an assessment of their stages of concern towards the adoption of Education 5.0. Methodology: A survey using 35 questionnaire items adapted from the Concerns-Based Adoption model was used to collect data from a sample of 28 lecturers derived from a population of 30. The researcher completed a score sheet using the responses from the questionnaires. Data on stages of concern was coded using Likert scale of 0 to 3. Data was analysed to measure stages of concern among the educators who are implementors of Education 5.0. by averaging the five items per stage to determine the level of concern among the educators. Standard deviation for each stage of concern was also calculated to determine variations among the educators’ level of concern. Results: The study revealed that the educators had their highest intensity of concern under stage 2 (personal), followed by stage 5 (collaboration), and their least concern on stage 6 (refocusing), followed by stage 3 (management). These findings indicate that these educators are on the self-level of concern, much concerned about how they would personally be affected by Education 5.0 and least concerned about the task at hand, which is the implementation of Education 5.0. Conclusion: The high intensity scores of educators’ concern at the personal and collaboration stages suggest that educators are more worried about how Education 5.0 adoption would affect them personally and also their significant others, students being part of this group. It is expected of educators to be concerned about how their students will be affected because students are part of lecturers’ most valued clients.

The literature cites multiple definitions for religiosity, with little consensus among researchers. Religiosity has been associated with a myriad of positive outcomes in both adolescents and adults. Religiosity refers to the degree to which a person adheres to his or her religious values, beliefs and practices and uses them in daily life. Religiosity is still an emerging concept in the developing countries such as India, though rich culture has enriched in the past. Confining to various definitions of Religiosity the study attempts to evolve a Religious belief System scale in an Indian context. With exploration of literature and expert reviews, various attributes of belief System scale was initiated with a pool of 164 items. These items were subjected to experts’ opinion and reduced to 136. The scale was administered on a sample of 456 participants and the item analysis was carried out the having more than 0.35and above value were retained for factor analysis. After initial factor analyses the scale was again administered on a sample of 550 participants. The principal component analyses were employed and 48 items were retained covering three factor i.e. Belief, Attitude and values. The measure demonstrated high internal consistency and good test-retest reliability as well as validity.

The implementation of community service aims to provide tips for writing classroom action research articles so that this activity can motivate teachers to write and improve their abilities in researching and writing articles where the benefits can be implemented in the classroom. Facts on the ground indicate that the obligation of teachers to write PTK is a "horror" and burdensome for teachers. That is because the teacher is not used to writing and researching. Hope after community service in both schools, the teacher can overcome problems in class and make the research culture the best solution in school.
