This research was conducted to search the meaning of traditional Islamic boarding schools in Seberang Kota Jambi as an existence legacy of religious traditional institutions in Jambi Malay modern world. The boarding school were slow adapt the modern developments and considered as an educational institution “conservative” who only teach “sky” science by forgetting his footing on the earth. The author tries to conduct a research to determine how the response of a salafiyah Islamic boarding school named al-Mubarok al-Islam toward social change, and how its success. Through a field research and descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of research include: <em>First</em>, al-Mubarok al-Islam salafiyah Islamic boarding schools has been growing and has a formal structure that can accommodate all aspects of the pesantren. <em>Second</em>, al-Mubarok al-Islam salafiyah Islamic boarding schools began to provide an opportunity for its students to be able to follow modern world by facilitating them in the national exam and have a certificate in general that can be used in the workplace in general. <em>Third</em>, al-Mubarok al-Islam salafiyah Islamic boarding schools provides the opportunity for students to be able to learn information communication technology nowadays.

da'wah in Indonesia. In addition, Islamic boarding schools are defined as sustainable ritual institutions, moral development institutions, as covering Islamic Education. It is also as social institutions that have experienced various life variations; which is adjusted to the burden of growth of the community in the midst of the pesantren. This research is intended to describe the history  and the social changes of the  communities of the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Astanajapura Cirebon Islamic Boarding School. It is also to describe the role of the Boarding School in fostering the lives of the community around the pesantren. This study uses historical history studies. The results of this study indicated that the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Islamic Boarding School is one of the pesantren which has an important role in matters relating to the Sidamulya community; in religious, educational, social and economic fields of the communities. The social changes happen in the communities are malima activity (the thief, main, madat, mabok, madon) changed to salima (shubuh, dhuhur, ashar, maghrib and isya). In addition, planting the values of Islam to show the real Muslim through routine tarikat (Tijaniyah), activities of manakiban, tahlilan and tadarrusan.

Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah. Islamic boarding school is an educational institution that transforms the value of education and example every second and minute and every time from a kyai to his students. Researchers are interested in choosing this topic because no one has conducted research with the same title. It is hoped that the benefits of the research will be of assistance to the pesantren pindok caregivers as well as for prospective da'i who wish to further deepen various dakwah sciences. The reason other researchers are not interested in this title is that they consider Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah to be ineffective and not optimal. Apart from this research, the writer tries to find a formula for what is done by the Islamic boarding schools to regenerate candidates and those who have become da'i, forged to become qualified da'i. This research was conducted using field research (field research) and qualitative analysis. Therefore, the data collected in this study is in the form of information in the form of descriptions. Qualitative analysis is considered more appropriate in this study, because this analysis is expected to make it more possible to develop this research in order to gain a deeper understanding. Research findings of Islamic boarding schools have a function as a da'wah institution, have elements and systems that are ideal in producing da'i cadres who have broad knowledge and character. Conclusion of the study, Islamic boarding school as a means of regeneration that prepares the next generation of Islam, through the provision of knowledge (leadership, management and insight) in stages and careful planning. The implication of this research is that the cadre model in the development of da'wah in Islamic boarding schools which is deliberately designed in such a way, it is certain that the da'i cadres can develop the knowledge they have and are ready to preach Islamic values ​​wherever they are.

Historically, Islamic boarding schools were Islamic educational institutions developed by Indonesian people. Because actually pesantren is a cultural product of Indonesian people who are fully aware of the importance of education for indigenous people who grow naturally. Regardless of where the tradition and system is adopted, it will not affect unique patterns and have taken root and lived in the community. The pattern of life in pesantren is formed naturally through the process of planting values and developing the process of influencing influence with society. Islamic boarding schools always experience dynamics that never stop, in line with the social changes that occur.In the pesantren management system, the existence of a vision and mission occupies an important position. The vision must be formulated earlier and then set forth in the mission, namely programs and activities to realize the vision, and furthermore is to compile an action program in a mature and flexible plan to be implemented in a certain period of time in stages. The vision and mission of Islamic education which is the hope, ideals, and goals of Islamic education, are basically built from Islamic values and the results of analysis of the existence of Islamic education.Islamic boarding schools should be the center of Islamic education development, because; Islamic Boarding School is a center of religious education, which combines general and religious education, becomes a fortress for scientific balancers which are increasingly rapid by the influence of globalization, the development of science and knowledge is unstoppable, so Islamic boarding schools present as a fortress to provide boundaries that are in accordance with Islamization. This paper explains how Islamic boarding schools should be in developing Islamic education, preserving and preserving Islamic scholarship as a practice and practice.

Islamic boarding school or pesantren is often only considered as a conservative Islamic educational institution. In fact, Pesantren has the number of interesting aspects to be deeply apart from studying the religion. As an institution, it involves many parties. The study aims to describe the economic map of Pesantren in Pekalongan region. This research is categorized as a field research using survey. The primary data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations of the 25 Pesantren in Pekalongan region. The validation of data is done through triangulation of data and sources. Pesantren which became the object of this research are Pesantren which had established for at least three years and had a business unit. Based on the description of the research's findings and discussion, it was concluded that almost all Pesantren in Pekalongan region have a business unit. The existing business unit, mostly engaged in trade. The businesses itself is oriented to meet the internal needs of religious school, especially students. Pesantren has the role in determining every type of business unit and corporate governance run by the religious schools. The governance/management of the business unit was run in a simple, not follow the rules of modern business management yet. However, Pesantren have involved students in business management. The operations results of this business unit at least have contributed in boarding operations.

The development plan of the Islamic Boarding School in the middle of the times it is not impossible to do. As the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School is an educational institution that is civilized. The development of Islamic boarding school can be done through two aspects; boarding school as an educational unit and boarding school as a place of education units. Islamic Boarding School as an educational unit in the form of Muaddalah Islamic Boarding School while boarding school as a place of education unit is a main unit of doing other educational institutions. Development of the Islamic Boarding School can also be developed through the role of Islamic Boarding Schools that do not merely act as an educational institution, but also serves as a social institutions and economic institutions of society.

The article is devoted to psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process in the children´s educational institution, based on the formation of professional skills of teachers, psychological culture of their parents, in turn, versatile, fully develop the child forms in his capacity to a level corresponding to the age peculiarities and requirements of the modern world. The main result of the activities of the psycho-pedagogical support preschool, which is consistent with both the social needs of the population and the requirements of the federal state educational standards, is an adaptation of children at all levels of training to the rapidly changing life of society, to ensure the organization of educational process aimed at constructive formation of the child´s personality.

Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) as islamic educational institution in general organizes and designs curriculum that able to avoid its students from sexual behavior that contrast to the islamic values, as well as in pesantren or after graduating from pesantren. One of the effort of pesntren to reach such goal among them are by organizing the relationship between sexs and to separate its students according to the sexs. Students are faced to the situation that different at all with the actual reality. Some aspects are regarded can direct to the social contact between sexs are controlled. The question appears about how the influence of the sexs separation (single sex-pesantren) to the student sexual development, as they coming out from that pesantren and must face the actual reality, which heterogenous, uncontrollabe and different at all with the relaity that experienced in pesantren.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan kajian teorits tentang pendidikan pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tertua di Indonesia yang sudah memberikan banyak kontribusi dalam perubahan sosial kehidupan bangsa melalui penanaman nilai-nilai religius, yang dalam hal ini relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan Nasional, yakni berbudi luhur, amal shalih, kegiatan keagamaan sehari-hari, kemandirian, kesehatan rohani dan tanggung jawab kemasyrakatan. Hal tersebut menjadikan pendidikan pesantren mampu mengendalikan perubahan nilai-nilai dalam kehidupan. Beberapa pendapat mengatakan bahwa terdapat lima komponen pesantren untuk dapat disebut sebagai pesantren, antara lain: ada kiai, pondok, masjid, santri serta pengkajian kitab klasik (gundul). Kelima komponen tersebut merupakan satu-kesatuan yang saling berkaitan dalam pendidikan pesantren. Dalam penelitian ini fokus pada proses pendidikan pesantren dalam merubah dan menanmkan nilai-nilai kepada para santri.   Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Pesantren, Perubahan Nilai Religius   Abstract: This research is a theoretical study of Islamic boarding school education as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia that has contributed a lot in the social change of the nation's life through the cultivation of religious values, as contained in the national educational goals of nobility, good deeds, daily religious, independence, spiritual health and community responsibility. This makes the boarding school education able to control changes in values ​​in life. Some opinions say that there are five components of the boarding school to be called as boarding school, among others: there are teacher of Islam, cottage, mosques, strict adherent of Islam and yellow book teaching (classical). The five components are a unit that cannot be separated from boarding school education. Islamic boarding school (Pondok Pesantren) is the oldest educational institution in Indonesia. It is an authentic Indonesian cultural heritage. The advancement of science and technology has influenced the Islamic boarding schools paradigm. On the other hand, the Islamic boarding school must be consistent in maintaining its cultural characteristics. There are four types of Islamic boarding schools in Lampung Province: pure Salafiyah, Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah, formal Diniyah education, and Takhassus. This study aims to determine the character-oriented human resource management of Islamic boarding schools in Lampung Province. This study employed the qualitative approach, which utilized interviews, observations, and documents to collect the data. The findings of this study are 1) the Islamic boarding schools human resource management planning includes needs analysis, recruitment, selection, and placement. 2) the implementation of Islamic boarding schools human resource management includes education through routine recitation, routine coaching, workshops, training, seminars, comparative studies, tawajjuhan thariqoh, night prayer (qiyamul lail), five daily prayers, routine dzikir, and tahsin and tahfidz Al Quran. 2) The human resource management Evaluation of Islamic boarding schools is carried out once a month, every two months, once every three months, at the end of the semester, at the end of the school year, and even at any time. The planning, implementing, and evaluating character excellence are done through 1) moral character, which includes trustworthiness, honesty, responsibility, sincerity, courtesy, qanaah, loyalty, and militancy. 2) Performance characters must include competence, discipline, punctuality, respect for time, collaboration, hard work, and thoroughness.

This research aims to know the process of social aspects influenced the importance of accountability in an organization of Islamic religious education that is don't give priority to profits in its operational activities, in Indonesia is often referred to as boarding schools. In order to further deepen the social accountability of the process, then the researchers used a qualitative research method with approach case studies boarding school Sidogiri Pasuruan. As for the analysis tools used are interactive analysis. As noted, there are more and more accountability role played in ancient civilizations and pre-modern societies. Therefore, at this time, the case for tracing the genealogy of accountability as a follow up said is best seen as a presumption that requires further examination. One of them is about the accountability of boarding schools which is rich in religious values and culture as a form of the spread of Islam. The dynamic life of boarding schools has been proven with the involvement of active participation in providing service to the community and many aspects of life that always accompany it. Interestingly, in terms of financial resources, the pesantren depends not only on the parents of the students, but also other sources of funding. The existence of this mandate, then boarding schools are definitely required to conduct financial accountability. These principles are very in line with the principles of Islamic law. It is closely related to surat Al-Baqarah verse 282 and 283 goals for the benefit of the people, i.e. If there is a transaction then write so that measurements obtained in a fair manner, not preferential treatment and is not reduced (ash-Syu'ara v. 181-184). Can be said to forbid these forms of transactions contrary to the Shariah.
