Abstract Background: Counterfeit drugs have been reported as the primary cause of increased morbidity and drug resistance in developing countries. However, consumers' awareness of the prevalence of fake drugs in developing countries remains unknown.Objectives: To assess consumers' awareness and the principal contributors of counterfeit drugs, propose measures to curb this menace in developing countries.Method: Data were collected using a questionnaire with 24 questions bordering on consumer awareness and measures taken by health professionals in combating the prevalence of counterfeit drugs. All the questions were fully completed by participants and submitted online. The data were analyzed using both deductive and inductive approaches. Results: It was observed that the level of awareness of counterfeit drugs among consumers varies across different countries. A high level of awareness was reported in countries with improved technology for combating substandard drugs, comparable to countries with lesser technology. The results show that pharmacy retailers and pharmaceutical industries are the major contributors to the prevalence of counterfeit medicines in developing countries. It was observed that consumers are exploring brand awareness and the physical appearance of drugs in the fight against counterfeit drugs.Conclusion: This study assessed consumers' awareness of counterfeit drugs in selected developing countries and proposed measures that the government can implement in the fight against counterfeit drugs. These measures and findings may be appropriate in designing awareness programs and developing a framework for monitoring pharmaceutical production companies and supply chains.

In India, food contamination has become a serious problem now-a-days. Consumer education and awareness is considered as the need of the hour. Adulteration like corruption has become rampant with alarming rate. The government knows that most of the spices, dal, ghee, milk sugar, tea etc are adulterated. The nature of contaminants is often impure, unhygienic, harmful, and detrimental to public health like adding the urea to milk, duplicate products often sold for the products of reputed brand, cold drinks like Pepsi, Coca cola etc and unhygienic substances, dal with stone bits, tea garnished by saw dust, turmeric mixed with chromate powder, chilly powder mixed with red colour and even fruits vegetables and cereals sold in market often having high level of toxic metals like lead, nickel, cadmium etc. Adulteration of food stuffs is commonly practised in India by traders due to consumers’ behaviour. They want to buy the food stuffs at lower price as possible as lower. The sellers now try to meet the needs of the buyers and their purchasing habit/tendency. This tendency of purchasing the stuffs motivates the sellers and traders to sell the adulterated food stuffs in the markets. Despite of ISI or Agmark certification mandatory for all edible items and food adulteration laws, food contamination has been rising at alarming rate especially in India. To encounter this ticklish situation, consumer awareness may play a vital role to combat the prevailing adulteration from a right perspective with the help of mass media and educational activities in school or colleges.

The research aims to reveal the level of consumer awareness among kindergarten teachers according to gender or certificate, to show the level of interest of teachers in consumer awareness in kindergarten, by answering the main question of research on the tasks and the impact of kindergarten teacher on raising the level of consumer awareness in children. Kindergartens: with a number of proposals through the search result. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method, the research community consists of (12) kindergartens working in the government sector, the sample of the research was chosen by simple random method, and consists of (110) of kindergarten teachers (13) of them male, and (97) female. For the purpose of collecting information, the researcher has prepared a questionnaire consisting of (27) paragraphs all prepared by the researcher himself. The researcher also benefited from the SPSS package and reached the following results: - The level of consumer awareness among kindergarten teachers at a low level. - There is no statistically significant relationship between educational attainment and consumer awareness. - There is a statistically significant relationship between sex and consumer awareness, and the effect was good female sex. The level of consumer awareness of the life needs and requirements of teachers at a high level.

The AIDS is one of the most complicated health problems of the 21st century and it threatens the world population. AIDS spread at an alarming rate. This was a descriptive study to determine the knowledge, awareness, and practice about HIV among different age groups. The study carried out in Karachi, Pakistan during the period of January 2016-april 2016, in which 82 peoples are participated; 65 peoples having age in between 18-30, people’s lies in 31-40 years, while only 4 peoples having age above 40. From which 91% peoples thought HIV is dangerous virus and 51% peoples having misconception that it cause AIDS on initial stage and does not have any effect on CD4+. Majority of peoples aware about transmission of AIDS through intercourse, and during pregnancy. But the study show the high level of misbelieve also in mode of transmission that HIV transmit through sweat, saliva etc. Majority of the peoples have knowledge that HIV-1 is the most common type found worldwide. Also large number of peoples have knowledge that HIV weak immune system by destroying CD4+ and require long exposure to progress AIDS. Less than 15% of peoples strongly agree that AIDS is common in women. This misconception reflex the lack of knowledge and awareness in the HIV transmission and gender relation. Also majority of peoples thought that lack of knowledge is major barrier in the proper cure of disease. So increasing knowledge by awareness programs; sexual prevention; by starting national testing resources and curing poverty will cured AIDS in Pakistan. Newly drugs are introduced which can stop the progression of AIDS.

This paper analyzes the problem of technological backwardness of economy. In many mostly developing countries their economies use obsolete technologies. This can create the illusion that this or that business is prosperous. At the level of international competition, however, it is obvious that these types of firms do not have any chance for success. Retroeconomics as a theory of technological backwardness and its detrimental effect upon a country’s economy is considered in the paper. The role of the government is very important for overcoming the effects of retroeconomy. The phenomenon of retroeconomy is already quite deep-rooted throughout the world and it is essential to consolidate the attention of economists and politicians on this threat.

E-governance is a paradigm shift over the traditional approaches in Public Administration which means rendering of government services and information to the public by using electronic means. In the past decades, service quality and responsiveness of the government towards the citizens were least important but with the approach of E-Government the government activities are now well dealt. This paper withdraws experiences from various studies from different countries and projects facing similar challenges which need to be consigned for the successful implementation of e-governance projects. Developing countries like India face poverty and illiteracy as a major obstacle in any form of development which makes it difficult for its government to provide e-services to its people conveniently and fast. It also suggests few suggestions to cope up with the challenges faced while implementing e-projects in India.

In India, the concept of organic food is gaining widespread acceptability. Consumers are becoming more conscious about their health and are looking for food that serves as a promising alternative. Corporates, NGOs, Spiritual leaders and Government are also promoting this food, as it is free from irradiation, chemicals and artificial additives. A number of organic food brands are available in the market. The main objective of this study is to find out the level of brand awareness and its influence on purchase of organic grocery. The data was collected from 150 organic consumers in National Capital Region (Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida) through a structured questionnaire. Questions related to brand recall, brand recognition and purchase of organic grocery were asked. It was found that in general, there is a low level of brand awareness among consumers, and those who have high level of awareness; they consume organic grocery more often. The study will help corporates to make effective communication and brand-building strategies.

Consumers’ interest in organic products is increasing globally. As IFOAM 2016 report, only 1.2 % of the land has been utilized in organic agriculture method. The overall organic market has achieved 89.7 billion $ in 2016 in that, & 48.4 a billion in sales accounted for the USA and German alone. Total registered organic producer in the worldwide is 2.7 million in that India is the leading country which has 835,200 organic producers. But many of them are a small farmer, and they had shared 1.49 million hectares only. The Government of India (GOI) and the state governments have taken several steps to improve the regulatory mechanism and frame several schemes to incentivize organic farming. 2017 December, Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) have recognized both the certification systems (NPOP and PGS-India) valid for organic food products. From these steps, GOI has tried to create confidence in the organic products, so that, domestic consumers and export countries can trust Indian organic products. But still, the organic sector in India suffered from some unique characteristic that is the absence of proper branding, package, consumer awareness, purchasing power, and supply chain issues (Agarwal, 2018).

<p>People Tax is the main source of state income. The better the tax policy of a country, the better the development of a country. One of the factors that influence the level of public awareness in paying taxes is corruption. Study shows that tax collection is one of them influenced by corruption. In the data of Corruption Perceptions Index 2016 reported by Transparency International, Indonesia is ranked 90 out of 176 countries. Tax evasion is a serious problem for many countries. Every year, the government loses revenue potential as many residents evade taxes in various ways. For this reason, the government implements tax amnesty. Tax amnesty is designed to permanently reduce the amount of underground economy activity, thereby increasing tax revenues in the future and developing countries can grow well.</p>

The article analyzes the features of the current youth policy of the Russian Federation aimed at raising the political culture. Despite the current activities of the government institutions in the field under study, absenteeism, as well as the protest potential of the young people, remains at a fairly high level. In this regard, the government acknowledged the importance of forming a positive image of the state power in the eyes of young people and strengthen its influence in the sphere of forming loyal associations, which is not always positively perceived among the youth. The work focuses on the fact that raising the loyalty of youth organizations is one of the factors of political stability, both in case of internal turbulence and external influence. The authors also focus on the beneficiaries of youth protests. The authors paid special attention to the issue of forming political leadership among the youth and the absence of leaders expressing the opinions of young people in modern Russian politics. At the same time, youth protest as a social phenomenon lack class and in some cases ideological differences. The authors come to the conclusion that despite the steps taken by the government and political parties to involve Russian youth in the political agenda, the young people reject leaders of youth opinion imposed by the authorities, either cultivating nonparticipation in the electoral campagines or demonstrating latent protest voting.
