One of the environmental changes that have successfully influenced the world of education universally is the pace of digital technology. In the context of education, the emergence of the concept of developing modern technology based on Internet of Things (IoT) and distance learning, certainly demands the optimization of technological utilization. Islamic Education is a catalyst for cross-generation spiritual literacy developers who should not be ignorant of any changes that occur. Responding to the increasingly unpredictable rate of digital technology, an attitude of awareness needs to be done, one of which is through mainstreaming digital inclusion in learning so that the advancement of digital technology can be restored to its role as a medium to increase the effectiveness of knowledge not as a barrier to the learning process. This study tries to identify several domains from digital inclusion into Islamic Education for higher education through a literature review. Some of the digital inclusion domains detected in this study are social networking, entertainment applications, information search engines, websites, and e-learning. This research is a preliminary analysis of the utilization and involvement of digital technology in the learning of Islamic Education and has produced several information regarding the identification of several digital inclusion domains, accompanied by strategies and techniques of implementation in learning activities. The study also includes academic advice for future studies.

The aims of this research is: 1) the rules related to distance learning during the Covid-19 emergency period, 2) type of learning innovations applied by Islamic study teachers, 3) obstacles faced by Islamic education teachers during e-learning. This research was conducted at MTS. PAI. The research method used is a qualitative research method, with a descriptive study model. The results of the study indicate that the policies adopted in MTS. PAI during the emergency period Covid-19 is still carrying out learning, but carried out with a distance-based internet network system. This policy is always implemented in accordance with government regulations. The variety of learning innovations applied are 1) Innovation In intra curricular activities, such as the presentation of learning with multimedia. PAI learning that emphasizes the motto 'friendly'. online-based discussions and assignments, Application of project-based methods, evaluation of learning based on activities. 2) Innovations in Extracurricular activities, such as routine reading and memorizing the Koran. The obstacles faced are 1) mindset errors, 2) Lack of competence, 3) teacher and student unpreparedness in facing E-Learning learning.

Discipline character should be created from all aspects of the activities carried out, including the discipline in following lecture activities carried out online by students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program at IAIN Madura. This research includes a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, the results of the study show that: first, the strategies used to discipline students in online lectures include clarifying pre-course contracts or course objectives, providing subject matter with the discussion method, giving assignments as material to evaluate the material presented and collecting tasks using deadlines. The two supporting factors are so that discipline in online lectures includes communication tools such as cellphones, laptops, and other applications as a medium for conveying information between students and lecturers, and the three inhibiting factors are not facilitated by internet networks and internet quota packages that are owned and the absence of tools. Other communications and solutions that should be provided are buying internet quotas and using Wi-fi and IAIN Madura providing a learning system with the IAIN Madura e-learning website.

The digital era and rapid technological developments require responses from various institutions to be able to survive and be able to use it well. Islamic education also needs to respond to this. Therefore, the reorientation of Islamic education in the digital era is important to discuss. This article aims to discuss various thoughts related to the reorientation of Islamic education in the digital era. The discussion is focused on approaches, models, and methods in Islamic studies at Islamic higher education using descriptive analysis. This article recommends the reorientation of Islamic education in the digital era can be done through three things, namely first, with a historical approach, second, by avoiding pseudo-diversification models, and third, by using Blended e-learning methods. Thus the Islamic Higher Education institutions can carry out its role and function in education that is sensitive to the times and at the same time the manifestation of Islam as rahmatanlil 'alamin in the digital era. <p>Professional teachers are required to always evolve according to the demands of dynamic change. In the perspective of Islamic education, teachers get high appreciation of the position one level below from the position of the Prophet. The Islamic appreciation of the learned men is illustrated in the hadith as quoted by Ahmad Tafsir (in Hasbullah, 1999: 193), namely: "Ulama's ink is more precious than the blood of the martyrs". The development of soft skill to improve the professional competence of teachers can be done through coaching programs such as upgrading, training/workshops, seminars or scientific meetings, e-learning, or formal activities in accordance with the needs of teachers. The development and fostering of professional competence of the teacher needs to be done continuously and comprehensively, so that will give birth to a comprehensive professional teacher as well.</p>

The aim of this research is to find out the students’ perception of Islamic education course conducted online learning during a pandemic outbreak. This impact affects the learning process. The researchers used a qualitative research approach with a survey method and the data collection were gained through a questionnaire and interview which were conducted online. The participants in this study were 115 students from the even semester and of English Education Program in English for Islamic studies course from one of universities in Bogor, Indonesia, who had been involved in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results show that a hundred percent of the students of that program involved in online learning in 2020/2021 academic year. Moreover, the online media that students are most interested in when learning online are WhatsApp (40.3 %), Google Classroom (35.7 %), Telegram (12.4 %) and Zoom (4.4 %). In addition, according to the students’ perception if online learning was extended, some students were very happy, a number of students were unhappy, and a few students were less happy. Despite the fact that most students prefer to study in person (offline) at home, online learning has positive impact on students.

The present article is aimed at revealing and analyzing the literacy culture implemented by Islamic education (PAI) teachers in Bengkulu city. This study explores and analyzes the problem qualitatively. The method used in collecting data is deep observation of 37 SMA(s) in Bengkulu city. In addition, interviews and surveys were also used by distributing questionnaires to representatives of PAI teachers from 37 SMA/SMK when they were invited to attend a workshop on enhancing literacy culture for PAI teachers. After collecting the data, it was analyzed with the Miles and Huberman style flow model, namely data collection, data reduction: the presentation of data in the form of a percentage of indicators of low reading and percentage of written papers made by PAI teachers; and conclusions. The results showed that literacy culture of PAI teachers, in the context of the habit of reading scientific books and writing scientific papers, was a relatively low. This is influenced by the lack of practice and habit of writing scientific papers such as PTK. The use of digital media such as e-book applications, e-learning, and google shcolar for learning is also low. However, teachers always tell students to visit the library to read books when assignments are given. It was followed that the literacy culture of PAI teachers in Bengkulu city is quite good, but the utilization of digital literacy is still low.

The 4.0 industrial revolution in the field of education, universities must be able to respond to this by carrying out reforms and reforms, especially Islamic tertiary institutions so as not to lag behind western education by conducting E-Learning-based education, E-Book E-Journal and Islamic Education Information System (SIMPE) which is a form of educational products nowadays that prioritize information technology. Responding to the development of education, Sriwijaya University (UNSRI) has implemented an E-Learning-based education system, E-Book E-Journal and Simpe in its education system. E-Learning, E-Book E-Journal and SIMPE is a global issue in the world of education today, especially in university education. For this reason, the author focuses on the Implementation of E-Learning, E-Book E-Journal and SIMPE conducted by the Sriwijaya University Palembang.

E-learning has an important role in Islamic Education learning. Students are expected to not only listening to the explanation of the material from the teacher but also playing an active role in learning by applying e-learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning based e-learning in Islamic Education course. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive. The subject of this study was SMK 8 Surabaya students for the Islamic Education course. The data collection method had been done by interview and documentation. Data analysis had been done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results of this study were the researcher found three stages in learning-based e-learning in the Islamic Education course, which is planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan bagaimana cara mengiplementasikan prosen kegiatan belajar mengajar yang berbasis E-learning pada era dan generasi milenial. Kemudian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis E-learning dapat membangun minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripif dengan pendekatan kuanlitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Sarjana Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas A-C tahun 2018. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan jumlah 57 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah cara megimplementasikan E-learning sebagai media pembelajaran dilakukan dengan melalui tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, penggunan dan evaluasi. Hasil lain juga didapat bahwa dengan menggunaka E-learning dapat membangun minat belajar. Hal ini dikarena pembelajaran berbasis E-learning dapat menyajikan materi dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bervariasi. This study aims to describe how the implementation of the process  teaching and learning activities based on E-learning in the era and millennial generation. Then to find out how E-learning based learning can build student learning interest. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is the students of the A-C Class Islamic Education Bachelor Program in 2018. The determination of the sample uses a saturated sampling technique with a total of 57 students. Data collection using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this study are how to implement E-learning as a learning medium carried out through three stages, namely planning, use and evaluation. Other results are also obtained that by using E-learning can build interest in learning. This is because E-learning based learning can present material and provide a varied learning experience
