The article deals with methodical training of future teachers for the organization of project activities of schoolchildren in physics It goes through the concept of "readiness" as multi-level psychological and pedagogical condition characterized by the performance of certain work tasks and specific activities while performing job functions, The purpose of the article is to consider the methodological preparation of future teachers for organizing project activities of schoolchildren in physics as a productive educational process, considering the ideas of pedagogical activity in Higher Education. This method is aimed at increasing the level of success in the professional activity of the graduates of a pedagogical university who will be able to perform their direct duties in accordance with The Professional Standards of a Teacher, use the acquired knowledge, experience and personal qualities in performing professional functions, including the organization of project activities of schoolchildren in teaching physics. The empirical basis of the article is the data of a study conducted in 2019-2020 in the framework of advanced training of physics teachers in the Chelyabinsk region and training of undergraduate students of the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University (Chelyabinsk). Research results: 1. The article considers the relationship between the concepts of «readiness» and "methodological training of a future teacher to organize project activities of students in physics". It as well shows the relationship between the professional standard and competencies formed within the framework of training bachelor students in the field of teacher training education. 2. The article shows the key characteristics of the methodological preparation of future teachers for the organization of project activities of students in physics from the perspective of productive training and technology of project activities.
