This study aimed to describe a model of the development of the constructivist Indonesian language teaching to optimize students’ critical thinking patterns. The study was carried out by the teachers of Junior High Schools in Tondano. The indicators of such teaching were not so apparent (only 28.42%) in the teaching andlearning process in the classroom. In other words, the  constructivist teaching behavior was very poor in relation to the development of the students’ critical thinking patterns. The following indicators showed that the constructivist teaching was not implemented yet: (1) the students were not actively involved designing, doing, and assessing the teaching activities in the classroom; (2) they were not motivated to learn from their friends in the classroom through cooperation, team work, or selfreflection;the cooperative activities were not considered as the main stimulus in the learning process; (3) the teaching and learning activities were not related to the real world, world issues or concrete problems around the students’ life; (4) the students’various life contexts were not employed and developed and their prior knowledge was not taken into account in the learning process; and (5) the teachers did not act as facilitators in the students’ learning activities.

Masyarakat penyandang tuna rungu tentunya mengalami kesulitan saat melakukan komunikasi sehari-hari, terutama bagi para siswa tuna rungu. Sejauh ini, mereka menggunakan bahasa isyarat SIBI dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. SIBI merupakan jenis bahasa isyarat yang banyak digunakan pada lembaga pendidikan luar biasa. Namun disatu sisi, proses belajar mengajar dinilai masih kurang maksimal apalagi dimasa pandemi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi berbasis smartphone sebagai media pembelajaran tambahan pengenalan huruf alphabet dan kata bagi penyandang disabilitas tuna rungu serta memudahkan mereka untuk berkomunikasi dengan sesama. Aplikasi dibuat dengan menggunakan metode waterfall, dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan hingga uji coba. Penelitian ini terbatas pada pengenalan huruf alphabet dan kata dalam bahasa Indonesia serta ditujukan bagi penyandang disabilitas tuna rungu usia 7-10 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli materi dan bahan ajar serta uji kelayakan pengguna, aplikasi ini dinyatakan layak untuk dikembangkan dengan hasil taraf kelayakan 80.45%. Deaf people certainly have difficulty in carrying out daily communication, especially for deaf students. So far, they use SIBI sign language in teaching and learning activities. SIBI is a type of sign language that is widely used in special education institutions. But on the one hand, the teaching and learning process is considered to be still less than optimal, especially during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to build a smartphone-based application as an additional learning medium to recognize letters and words for deaf people and make it easier for them to communicate with other people. Applications are made using the waterfall method, starting from needs analysis, design, manufacture to testing. This research is limited to the introduction of letters of the alphabet and words in Indonesian and is intended for deaf people aged 7-10 years. Based on the results of expert tests of teaching materials and user feasibility tests, this application is declared feasible to be developed with a feasibility level of 80.45%.

Special service administration is to provide services specifically or a business that is not directly related to the teaching and learning process in the classroom. But specifically given by the school to the students so that they are more optimal in carrying out the learning process Special service management in schools is basically set and organized to facilitate or facilitate learning, and can meet the special needs of students at school. Special services are held in schools with the aim of facilitating the implementation of teaching in the context of achieving educational goals in schools. Education in schools also includes trying to keep students in good condition. Good here concerning physical and spiritual aspects. Special services provided by schools to students, between schools one with other schools are generally the same, but the management process and utilization are different. Some special services available at school include: Library, Labor, UKS (School of Health Business), School Kafetaria, Facilities of worship, Dormitory, Cooperatives and Transportation. Thus, special service management is a process of providing services to students to support learning activities so that educational goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. This study is conducted in order to describe the development model ofconstructivistic teaching in Indonesian language for the sake of maximizing thestudents’ attitude in critical thinking. Operationally this study is done inorder to describe the concept and strategy model and the materials of constructivisticIndonesian language teaching developed by the teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Rembokenfor the sake of maximizing the students’ attitude in critical thinking. TheIndonesian language teachers’ concept on the planning and the conduction ofconstructivistic teaching related to what Indonesian language teaching is, howthe textbook and the materials are used, the purpose of Indonesian languageteaching is, the role of the teacher, the role of the students in the teachingand learning process, the use of teaching methods and media, and the procedureof the conduction of constructivistic Indonesian language teaching and learningprocess in the classroom, was not done by the teachers when they were observed.Their constructivistic teaching attitude is very minimal.

Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups.Keywords: Learning, discussion AbstrakProses belajar mengajar yang baik dapat menciptakan situasi yang mmemungkinkan anak belajar, sehingga merupakan titik awal keberhasilan pengajaran. Rendahnya mutu pendidikan tergantung pada pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar yang dapat diartikan kurang efektifnya proses belajar mengajar, penyebabnya: (1) Rendahnya aktifitas belajar,  (2) Sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Kasus pada SMP Negeri % Kota Solok rendahnya aktifitas belajar siswa diduga berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan pengamatanpada  kelas VIII A yang termasuk kelas unggul belum mencapai ketuntasan yang di inginkan, sedangkan kelas yang paling sedikit ketuntasannya adalah kelas VIII B yaitu sebanyak 33,33 % dengan kriterian KKM 65. Melihat kenyataan tersebut, guru dituntut untuk dapat memotivasi siswa dan menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa. Karena itu, untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa, penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui metode diskusi dalam kelompok kecil. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, diskusi

Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) is a demanded strategy to be applied in any teaching activities, including English teaching and learning process. This HOTS application offers attainable learning outcomes to the teachers when conducting teaching activities. Teachers are able to see how far students can learn based on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. However, there were problems which teachers found and challenged them to encounter the problems to keep the implementation of HOTS successful. This research was carried out to figure out teacher’s self-reflection on problems found and to determine decisions how to encounter them. In line to the research purpose, a qualitative research design was applied within interview and questionnaire. Furthermore, based on teacher’s reflection, it was revealed that during learning activities the students acted unmotivated and lack of confidence; they lacked English interest; and HOTs was not applied properly based on its stages. Then, decision making was established in terms of teaching strategies and lesson planning. In conclusion, despite the importance of creating HOTS to invite students to be creative and critical, problems still remained. Thus, self-reflection did assist teacher to analyze and figure out what teaching weaknesses are and imply to the HOTS application to improve teaching and learning process.

The purpose of this study is to improve students' interest in English vocabulary through picture media in TK Nur Assalam. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The participants of this research were 6 students. The results obtained from efforts to the improving students interest in English vocabulary using the picture media involving active learners in the learning process. The role of picture media in learning activities is very important for children, especially in the next education level. Teaching and learning activities in early childhood will quickly develop if parents and teachers intensive to develop it. There are several attempts to create a sense of pleasure in early childhood by using picture media in the learning process. From the result of research indicate that when pre-action take result (15%). In cycle I, it increased to (55%) sufficient criteria. In cycle II, it increased again to (85%) good criteria. So, the increase that occurred from the pre-action to the cycle I that is (40%). The increase from cycle I to cycle II that is (30%). And increase from pre-action to cycle II that is (70%). From the research results obtained, then to the improving students interest in English vocabulary can be improved by using picture media in the learning process.Keywords : Students’ Interest, Vocabulary and Picture Media

In the implementation of learning activities that occur at SD Plus Pesantren Al-Anwar, problems when implementing learning activities, among others, are the media used are not supportive, teachers use learning resources in the form of books and have not used certain learning media. This is the cause of students tend to be passive in learning activities. When learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 learning 2 in class IV the teacher uses image media in teaching and learning activities, making students less understanding of the material. As a result, students are less interested in teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted in class IV, which consisted of 20 students. In the development research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to provide a good influence for students, the Fun Thinkers book media is to foster student learning activities and achievements and must use media that can foster student interest in learning so that they are enthusiastic in undergoing the learning process. Research using the ADDIE model which passes through 5 stages.

The teaching and learning process is the core of education. Everything that has been programmed will be carried out in the teaching and learning process where interaction and involvement is needed between educators and students with materials as the medium. Teaching activities at the strata 1 level involve educators called lecturers and students called students. In general, teaching activities are carried out offline, which involves direct interaction between lecturers and students. At the beginning of 2021, rumors began to appear that there was a global disaster of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, which initially Indonesia considered that the Corona virus was impossible to enter Indonesia. However, the development of the virus is so fast. Indonesia finally announced in early March 2021 as a country experiencing the impact of the global disaster due to the COVID -19 pandemic. This study wants to find out how effective it is to use blended learning by using google classroom and zoom to improve the understanding of FEB students at Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. This research is a quantitative research using causal clause relationship, using SPSS version 23.0 analysis tool. The results obtained from this study are that the Google Classroom and Zoom applications partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on student understanding.
