Abstract: Automatic room lights controller can be installed in which the room lights will turn on automatically upon detection of human motion and will stay tuned until the motion stops or the person has left the room. Such type of system can be implemented where we don’t require continuous light supply but only when a person is present. The common places where we can install the system are washrooms, bathrooms, office rooms, classrooms in schools and colleges, garages, etc. Also, using this controller system, we don’t need to worry about electricity as the room lights will switch off on their own when no person is present. A huge amount of energy and economy will also be saved . The main components of the Automatic Room Lights project are Arduino Uno, PIR Sensor and the Relay Module. This research aims to create a Reosquido desalination tool for evaporation methods using a microcontroller. This tool can control the temperature to speed up the evaporation process in producing fresh water. The method applied to Reosquido desalination uses Evaporation. The first process before evaporation is the detection of temperature in sea water that will be heated using an element heater. The second process of temperature measurement is to turn off and turn on the Arduino Uno controlled heater, when the temperature is less than 80 ° then the heater is on. The third process is evaporation during temperatures between 80 ° to 100 °, evaporation water sticks to the glass roof which is designed by pyramid. Evaporated water that flows into the reservoir is detected by its solubility TDS value. The fourth process is heater off when the temperature is more than 100 °. Based on the results of the testing, the desalination process using a microcontroller controlled heater can speed up the time up to 55% of the previous desalination process tool, namely manual desalination prsoes without using the heater element controlled by the temperature and controlled by a microcontroller which takes 9 hours. Produces fresh water as much as 30ml from 3000ml of sea water, so that it can be compared to 1: 100.

The common ice plant, Mesembryanthemum crystallinum L., is a eu-halophytic model species with an environmental stress-initiated switch from C3 photosynthesis to crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM). Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase activity in 6-week-old plants exposed to salt stress for 5 days was ~15-fold higher than before stress, indicating the salinity-dependent induction of the C3 to CAM transition. Five plant protein phosphatase type 2C (PP2C) genes were cloned, representative of five of the 10 plant PP2C sub-families. We measured mRNA levels of these PP2Cs and of myo-inositol 1-phosphate synthase (Inps1) in 6-week-old plants before (C3) and after (CAM) salt stress. Remarkably, four PP2C genes and Inps1 were expressed with a diurnal fluctuation in plants in C3 mode. After salt-induced CAM induction, the six genes were expressed with more prominent fluctuations than before stress, suggesting that these PP2C genes may be involved in the diurnal regulation of protein phosphorylation in CAM. Under continuous light treatment the expression of two PP2C genes continued to fluctuate, indicating that their expression is controlled by circadian rhythm.

Development at this time is increasing, people expect a tool or technology that can help human work, so technology becomes a necessity for humans. This final task is made a device that can do the job of watering tomato plants automatically. This tool aims to replace the manual work becomes automatic. The benefit of this tool is that it can facilitate the work of humans in watering chili plants. This tool uses a soil moisture sensor which acts as a soil moisture detector and sends an order to Arduino Uno to turn on the relay driver so that the wiper motor can splash water according to the needs of the soil automatically. The making of this final project is done by designing, making and implementing system components which include Arduino uno as a controller, driver relay to blow on and off the wiper motor, LCD (Linquit Cristal Display) to display the percentage value of water content

Enormous amount of electrical energy is consumed in urban areas by means of street lights. Currently, the street lights are turned on and off manually which will lead to wastage of electrical energy. Due to inadequate dimming and low efficiency of lights, current is being wasted. The main aim of this smart LED system is to create a street light which will behave according to its surrounding. This LED will turn on automatically during dark time and off during bright time with the help of LDR. It will remain dim when there is no one near the light and turns on bright when people pass by it. By doing this, huge amount of energy is being saved. Though solar energy is efficient, it can’t work during rainy season. Thus, piezoelectric sensor is a good replacement of it. It converts the pressure that applied on it to electrical energy. This sensor is fixed in the road which will convert the pressure applied to it by the vehicles to electrical energy which can be utilized by the LEDs. Finally, this system aims to present an overview of a profitable and green solution to the energy consumption problem imposed by street lighting.

Indonesian farmers used to utilize crank to turn on hand tractor machine till today. It may make operators weariness and potentially raised work accident. The purpose of this study was to design a portable electric starter for hand tractor machine. Moreover, the study was addressed to evaluate the performance of the design. The minimum rotational speed (n) and initial torque (T) in decompression and non decompression conditions were adopted to calculate the minimum power (P) requirement. The minumum power of decompression and non decompression were 572.78 watts (≈ 0.74 hp) and 841.75 watts (≈ 1.09 hp), respectively. These values used as a reference in determining the main components, namely the wet type 12 volt battery and the serial type direct current starter motor. The next step, set up additional components, transmission mechanism, as well as concept of portable electric starter. The design was realized by construction and assembly process. A performance test was carried out on the prototype. The performance test of non decompression showed 1.88 seconds for working time, 264.56 Joules for workload (operator), 363.20 rpm for rotating speed and 0.68 watt hours for power requirement. Overall, application portable electric starter indicated better performance than crank. This study proved a high preference of operator on application of portable electric starter in decompression conditions.

Currently, transfering a huge amount of video data from on premise to the public cloud is very slow. In this article, the researcher uses a set of self-developed software written in Python, C, and Bash to improve the speed of data transmission and analysis of drone-generated videos taken in eight different cities on the American continent to the public cloud of Amazon Web Services. The author uses several tools, compression, parallel threads execution, and the autoscaling feature of the public cloud vendor to tune the process of transmission and analysis in 78% of the speed compared to the common sequential transmission and single node option.

Torts and breach of contract are termed common law wrongs because they were historically developed in the common law courts. Equitable wrongs are civil wrongs that historically were developed in the Court of Chancery. Despite the fusion of the common law courts and the Court of Chancery by the Supreme Court of Judicature Acts 1873–1875, much of the substantive law has not been fused. One example is the continued distinction between common law and equitable wrongs. In a rational fused system, nothing should turn on whether a civil wrong is common law or equitable. But that is not the present law.

With the application in HTR-10GT, the reliability and stability of the AMB system should be studied deeply. Especially EMI analysis on the switch power amplifier is needed to be done, since which one is the main interference source for AMB during the switch turn-on and turn-off. Based on it, a simplified and improved modeling method is listed by dividing the nonlinear transition into several stages, and the models of the voltage source and current source are built in the form of the piece-wise linear way. The conducted emission on the differential mode noise and the common mode is shown by simulation. The result could provide the theoretical basis on the designing the grounding, filter and isolation for the AMB system.

This technique is bolstered by the ultrasonic sensor which is interfaced with Arduino UNO to check the level of waste filled in the dustbin and sends the alert to the common web server once if waste is filled. </p>
