This study attempts to describe the communication strategies used and various kinds of activities carried out by UIN Ar-Raniry public relations in establishing relationships with the press media. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources of this study were obtained from respondents as the primary data source through several stages in the form of observations records, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was performed by using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques through three flows of activities that were carried out simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of the study revealed that the role of public relations of UIN Ar-Raniry in establishing relations with the press media has been going well. It can be seen from the communication strategies used and the various forms of activities that is organized by UIN Ar-Raniry public relation in developing relations with the press media. The communication strategy used is a two-way symmetrical and Reciprocity communication strategy that conforms to the principles of media relations. Several kinds of activities carried out by UIN Ar-Raniry public relations in developing relationships with the press media are Press Coverage, Press Conference, Press Release, Press Statement, Press Interview, and Electronics Communications. Meanwhile, the informal activities are Press Reception and Morning Coffee.

Preserving local culture by reflecting it in every organization's activities becomes a challenge for Public Relations in the digital era 4.0. This is due to a shift in local culture which was replaced by foreign cultures that entered Indonesia. Various kinds of communication strategies are carried out, one of them is by the Public Relations of Aston Imperium Purwokerto hotel which maintains the local cultural specialties at the hotel. This study aims to analyze the communication strategy carried out by Aston Imperium Hotel Public Relations in maintaining local diversity in the 4.0 era. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and related literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the Aston Imperium Hotel Public Relations communication strategy is implemented internally and externally. Internally, local culture is included in the forms of food and beverage, Banyumas regional specialties, hotel interiors and rooms by displaying puppet decorations and Banyumas batik motifs, employees inserting Banyumas local language in greeting guests, providing clothing counters and batik decorations in the hotel. Externally, Aston hotel PR cooperates with the local government and tourism office to support maintaining local wisdom.��

The purpose of this study is to find out how media relations strategies are applied in media relationships, barriers faced in running the media relations strategy and the relationship model created between the PR with the media. This research uses the paradigm of kontruktivisme with qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document collection / library study. The result of this research shows the effort of Public Relations Division of North Tapanuli Regency Government to do the strategy to manage the relationship, develop the strategy and develop the network as an effort to improve the positive image. However, Media Relations strategy implemented by Public Relations of North Tapanuli regency is still less effective because some of the problems faced.

Public relations is a vital tool for the government because it emphasizes on democracy and good governance. This study sought to establish the role of public relations tools in sensitizing the public on government projects in government ministries in the Central Government in Nairobi. Specifically, the study examined: the effects of media relations on sensitizing the public on government projects in Nairobi County, Kenya; the effects of community relations on sensitizing the public on government projects in Nairobi County, Kenya; the effects of sponsorships on sensitizing the public on government projects in Nairobi County, Kenya; the effects of community events on sensitizing the public on government projects in Nairobi County, Kenya. For this study, the researcher used descriptive survey design. The target population comprised heads of departments in state corporations in Kenya which totals 162. This study was a census survey of all 162 state corporations in Kenya. The unit of analysis comprised all the state corporations whereas the unit of observation consisted of 162 heads of departments (Public Relations Officers) of each State Corporation, thus forming a sample size of 162 respondents. Primary data was collected using questionnaires as the main data collection instruments. The study also collected data using an interview schedule. SPSS version 20 was adopted in the analysis of quantitative data. Data was presented in the form of pie charts, graphs and tables. Themes were used to analyze qualitative data. The study found that media relations positively and significantly influence sensitisation on government projects; community relations positively and significantly influence sensitisation on government projects; sponsorships positively and significantly influence sensitisation on government projects and community events positively and significantly influence sensitisation on government projects. The study, therefore, recommends that stronger communication mechanisms should be installed and well integrated in the system to ensure easier and convenient dissemination of information to the public. PR department of any organisation contributes to its development and enhances customer’s satisfaction. In this line, the study recommends that strong and well integrated PR department should be installed in an organisation and therefore should be sufficiently funded to ensure its success. Further, the study recommends that organisations should devise ways and means to maintain a long-term commitment with clients.

ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Strategi komunikasi, (2) Faktor pendukung, dan (3) Faktor penghambat dalam sosialisasi Program Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM) di PT. Taspen (Persero) Kantor Cabang Cirebon. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi komunikasi dalam mensosialisasikan program Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM) dalam pelaksanaannya, instansi yang mengundang PT. Taspen (Persero) Kantor Cabang Cirebon untuk mengadakan sosialisasi. Kemudian Account Officer (AO) mengenali peserta yang akan mengikuti sosialisasi, setelah itu memilih media yang akan digunakan, menyusun materi yang akan disampaikan, dan peranan Account Officer (AO) selaku komunikator yang sudah memiliki kemampuan untuk melaksanakan sosialisasi tentang program Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM), (2) Program ini mendapat dukungan dari pihak-pihak tertentu seperti instansi pemerintah, mitra bayar, sarana dan prasarana juga yang disediakan untuk mendukung program ini, (3) Strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh PT. Taspen (Persero) Kantor Cabang Cirebon sejauh ini tidak menemui hambatan, hanya masalah pengaturan waktu dan situasi kondisi yang kurang kondusif. Kata kunci: Program Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja, Program Jaminan Kematian, Sosialisasi,  Strategi Komunikasi. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: (1) communication Strategies, (2) supporting Factors, and (3) inhibiting Factors in the socialization Program, Accident insurance (JKK) and Death benefits (JKM) at PT. Taspen (Persero) Branch Cirebon. Researchers using qualitative research methods with descriptive approach. The research results show that: (1) communication Strategy in socializing program, Accident insurance (JKK) and Death benefits (JKM) in practice, the agencies invite PT. Taspen (Persero) Branch Cirebon to conduct socialization. Then the Account Officer (AO) to recognize the participants who will attend the socialization, after that choose the media that will be used, preparing the material to be presented, and the role of the Account Officer (AO) as a communicator that already has the ability to carry out socialization about the program, Accident insurance (JKK) and Death benefits (JKM), (2) the Program has the support of certain parties such as government agencies, partners, pay, facilities and infrastructure are also provided to support the program, (3) communication Strategy conducted by PT. Taspen (Persero) Branch Cirebon thus far have not encountered obstacles, just a matter of setting the time and situation conditions that are less conducive. Keywords: Work-related Accident, the insurance Program, Socialization, Communication Strategy.

This paper evaluates the feminization of Public Relations (P.R.) and how that may shape the role of P.R. in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). One goal is to highlight the implications for the unique females’ functions between male managers and female P.R. practitioners. Research questions include: What are the common challenges and gender issues in public relations in the UAE? Do P.R. managers encourage the recruitment of female workers and leaders in the P.R. field? Therefore, the findings of the research are based on qualitative primary data derived from semi-structured in-depth interviews with the P.R. managers and P.R. female practitioners. The paper concludes that UAE public relations staff members continue to execute their main roles. Therefore, male and female workers differed significantly in their views about gender fairness in work locations, roles, status, ranks and tasks, responsibilities, and work-life balance.

This research aims to find out the role of media relations in forming positive news on printed media by having a special page for Salatiga news as research focus. This research is a qualitative research by using qualitative descriptive approach. Observation, interview, document collection and photo activities are used to collect data. The result indicates that informal media relations activities are more effective to create positive news about Salatiga government in printed media because it can build good relation between Public Relations practitioners and journalists.

Bawean Island which is within the scope of Gresik Regency has the potential of nature, culture, and religiontourism. The natural resources that have this potential will develop if managed and promoted with an effective and efficient strategy. The purpose of this study to analyze the communication strategy used by the local government of Gresik Regency in promoting potential tourism in Bawean Island. In this qualitative descriptive study the primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the head of Departement of Culture Tourist Youth and Sport in Gresik. The questions in the interview related to Bawean Island tourism promotion strategic plan along with what has been done by related parties. Data analysis was performed using interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show that the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports has not had a marketing strategy and implementation based Integrated Marketing Communications. The strategies and promotions that have been there are also still not running optimally.

The rapid technology development and information made public (community) being so critical to the policies was taken by the government. This requires police institution to maintain of security guards, public order, enforce the law, provides protection, aegis and service to the community. Public Relations (PR) is an agency which have a duty to understand and evaluate a variety of public opinion in order to help to create harmony between particular agencies with the public. In order to increase quality of human resources in Police Department are required personnel with the ability in resolving problems the happens in society. In resolving these problems, that needed cooperation between police department, college and the community. The contribution of college to police department and the community with conducting the devotion to the community in cooperation Polresta Tangerang. The method in use in devotion community is by providing training of the role of public relations to Polresta Tangerang members through zoom cloud meeting. The role of public relations training aimed at giving public knowledge include similarity in communication, public relations function, basic principles of public relations, the management of the community and management of media relations may be good quality police. The evaluation of the training be concluded that the training that performed capable of increase understanding participants on the role of public relations.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board in supervising Sharia Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSPPS) so that operations do not come out of sharia provisions. Sharia Supervisory Board includes legal assistants who have the duty to ensure and conduct supervision so that Sharia Financial Institutions are in sharia provisions. Savings and Loan Cooperatives and Sharia Financing are financial institutions that are socially based and in their activities are based on moral principles by considering haram and lawfulness of a business that is run in accordance with Islamic regulations. The method used to conduct this research is qualitative. The data source uses secondary data and primary data by collecting data in the form of interviews and documents. Based on the results of observations on KSPPS Berkah Abadi Gemilang that Supervision conducted by DPS there is still an obstacle that causes less optimal supervision, namely members of sharia supervisors who do not understand muamalah fiqh, mastery of economics and DPS rarely make office visits. In addition, one member of the DPS also does not yet have a certificate of proof of passing the exam from DSN-MUI or other standard certificates, in this case at least the results of the certificate provide a guarantee that the Sharia Supervisory Board has passed the feasibility test to become the Sharia Supervisory Board. KSPPS Berkah Abadi Gemilang in practice also still has errors, the Ba'I Bi'saman Ajil contract which is supposed to be a sale and purchase agreement but made as a financing and error in determining the margin based on the presentation of the money lent.</em></p>
