The article describes the possibility of using the social and cultural activities in institutes of higher education and there is identified its impact on patriotic upbringing of modern youth; is considered the value and actuality of patriotic education of young people is examined ; there are determined pedagogical conditions, optimizing the process of patriotic education; it is tested the systematic work, directed to the formation of patriotic feelings of modern youth. Modern social and cultural paradigm of Russia requires increasing the level of patriotic upbringing of youth. To educate deserved young generations and responsible citizens of the country, who will be able to prove themselves as in rotecting their motherland, as in the peace labour, to educate moral, educated, cultural, tolerant people who know and respect their culture, you need to form spiritual and moral qualities of a personality, to educate ethical standards, to develop patriotic attitude and involvement. In this regard, the attention to theoretical and empirical problems of patriotic upbringing is increasing today. So it is especially important to form the attitude to our Motherland basing not so much on its military power, but on emphasising the works by outstanding domestic architects, poets, artists, musicians, glorifying the identity of the Russian culture, the beauty of Russian cities, the power and the depth of the culture, impersonated in folklore and spiritual heritage of Great Patriotic War. With the aim of identifying the formation level of patriotic feelings of modern youth there was made a study among students Volgograd state institute of arts and culture and arts. The work on the formation of patriotism with historically and commemorativly oriented means of social and cultural activity means was organized. The results of the study and the total of the work are presented in the article.

The activity of society “Dynamo” in historical and modern aspects in solving the problem of patriotic education of youth as one of the fundamental tasks of the modern Russian state is considered. It is shown that throughout the public organization “Dynamo” history through the active involvement of children to a healthy lifestyle forms the younger generation of an active life position, the desire for physical development, sports achievements for the glory of Russia. The essence of the organization society “Dynamo”, designed along with other tasks to strengthen the physical and spiritual health of Russian citizens of different age groups, using a variety of organizational forms and health-saving technologies is revealed. We show the aspect of coaching work with the younger generation, in which special attention is paid to the patriotic education of young people and teenagers seeking sports achievements. Within the modern structure of the society “Dynamo” the system and quality of sports training in its divisions are analyzed. Traditionally the results are checked in the course of numerous competitions. The importance of Spartakiads and competitions of “Dynamo” society in patriotic education of young people, which encourage the desire for health, strength, beauty, readiness to defend the sports honor of Russia in the athletes, is shown.

Introduction. The problem and the objective of scientific and methodological research of the issues of civil-patriotic education of young people are determined by the insufficiency of the used descriptive assessments of the results of educational work and the need to determine the possibilities of quantitative approaches in measuring the effectiveness of the educational process. Materials and methods. The SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) was used to study the data obtained as a result of the content analysis of essays submitted to the competition "The feat of a teacher during the Great Patriotic War", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and 90th anniversary of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Ural State Pedagogical University". These essays were understood as a narrative, i.e., a literary text combining a description and explanation of events, actions in a person's life. The method of content analysis and SEM models of narratives that were used to process and present information are original and are subject to the intellectual property of the authors. The Results. An objective assessment of the result of educational work with young people in the context of the teaching profession is presented. A statistically significant relationship between educational results "Patriotism" and "Civic identity" is found, and the most significant educational result is identified – "Civic identity" and the least significant – "Subjective assessment", and the relationship between educational results "Professional activity" and "Civic identity" is identified. The high efficiency of the use of the competition for forming the civil identity of the participants was proved, as well as the insufficient one – for forming the ability to formulate their own (subjective) assessment; educational work on the formation of patriotic feelings at the same time allows the formation of the civic identity of students and vice versa); it is required to conduct purposeful educational work on the formation of civic identity in the professional activity of a teacher. Conclusion. It was concluded that the competitive event "The feat of a teacher during the Great Patriotic War" was an effective tool for preserving the historical memory and patriotic education of young people.

The analysis of the mechanism of the formation of historical memory and pride in the ideas of young people at the present stage is in demand due to the fact that these social phenomena can help young people to a large extent realize their own involvement in the Motherland, in the fateful affairs of their ancestors, and are also focused on developing a sense of responsibility for the future. their state. Lacking knowledge and not having an idea of the experience of previous generations, it is not easy for people to maintain civic identity, adhere to and pass on traditions to future generations, foster spirituality and, in general, navigate society. The article outlines the relevance of the issue of preserving historical memory at the present stage, characterizes the relationship of scientific and practical aspects of the topic under consideration, provides an overview of authoritative publications on the issue under study. The author describes the state programs of the federal and regional levels, reflecting the directions of the patriotic education of the younger generation in the Russian Federation in general, and in the Yaroslavl region in particular. The practical significance of the work is substantiated by the results of a qualitative study, which fixes the peculiarities of perpetuating the memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War in the ideas of young students, as well as their attitude to mass commemorative events during the Victory Day celebration. An analysis of the results of focus group discussions revealed ambivalent features of the preservation of historical memory in the ideas of modern youth: along with the awareness of the tragedy of individual memories of events during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, a component of understanding the heroism of events and the fate of Soviet people is also recorded.

ABSTRACTThe new socioeconomic and cultural paradigm has brought a social discussion about the existence and transmission of human values. This concern has impacted on educational systems, where the social responsibility of education to encourage on young people values to promote a more just, equitable and tolerant world is highlighted. The aim of this paper is to analyze the possible complementarity between the models developed by Schwartz and Hall-Tonna for the measurement and the development of values. Both models provide a solid theoretical basis to work with values in education and, at the same time, there are empirical evidences that remark the contribution of these models in to the identification and development of values. Both models are described and instruments designed to identify values are analyzed comparing the similarities and differences between them to explore their interrelationship and practical application. The interaction between the two models could bring an approximation to the values from a mixed methodology (quantitative and qualitative), providing tools to recognize and work individual and group values in educational institutions.RESUMENEl nuevo paradigma socioeconómico y cultural ha traído consigo una discusión social entorno a la existencia y transmisión de valores. Esta preocupación ha repercutido en los sistemas educativos, donde se incide en la responsabilidad social de la educación para fomentar en los jóvenes valores que promuevan un mundo más justo, equitativo y tolerante. El objetivo de esta comunicación es analizar la posible complementariedad entre los modelos elaborados por Schwartz y Hall-Tonna para la medición y el desarrollo de valores. Ambos modelos ofrecen una base teórica sólida para trabajar los valores en el ámbito educativo y, a su vez, existen evidencias empíricas que subrayan la contribución de estos modelos a la identificación de valores para su desarrollo. Se describen ambos modelos y se analizan los instrumentos diseñados para la identificación de valores, realizando una comparación entre las semejanzas y las diferencias entre ellos, para profundizar en su interrelación y aplicación práctica. В статье исследуется роль социальных сетей, в частности Instagram, в развитии гражданской и цифровой активности молодежи. В условиях пандемии коронавируса вовлеченность молодежи в гражданские онлайн-мероприятия приобретает особое значение. Instagram не предоставляет данных о возрасте пользователей, однако, ориентируясь на среднестатистического пользователя, можно рассматривать эту сеть как важный информационный ресурс для молодежи. Вовлечение в гражданские акции происходит в Instagram как через популярные сообщества, так и посредством воздействия постов влиятельных медиаперсон. Основной целью исследования является выявление авторитетных информационных источников и медиаперсон в сети Instagram, влияющих на социальную активность молодежи в гражданском обществе. Эмпирическим материалом исследования являются сообщества, хештеги и тексты постов в Instagram, отражающие установки россиян в отношении ежегодной гражданской акции «Бессмертный полк». Анализ цифровых следов в Instagram на примере потока «Бессмертный полк» позволяет выявить, каким образом пользователи воспринимают данную гражданскую инициативу, кто из блогеров является лидером общественного мнения в данном тематическом кластере. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для разработки концептуальных основ гражданского образования студентов и школьников в условиях информационного многообразия. The article investigates the role of social networks, Instagram in particular, on the development of young people’s civic engagement in the digital age. The coronavirus pandemic has increased young peoples civic engagement in an online environment. Instagram doesn’t provide insight into its users’ ages, but average Instagram users are young people, therefore the social media is an important information resource for young people. Young people are engaged in virtual events via popular communities and via posts published by prominent media people. The goal of the research is to investigate authoritative information resources and media people in Instagram that can influence young people’s social activities in civil society. The research investigates Instagram communities, hashtags and texts posted on Instagram and reflecting Russian people’s attitudes to the annual Immortal Regiment March. The analysis of digital footprint left by the Immortal Regiment discussions enables the authors of the article to investigate young people’s perception of this civic event and to find out which bloggers are considered authoritative. The results of the research can be used to develop the conceptual framework for students’ and school children’s civic education in the conditions of information diversity.

This work is devoted to the study of the characteristics of the young generation’s perception of the foreign policy of the Soviet leadership in 1937–1941. The specificity of the development of the image of a foreign enemy in the minds of young people is shown. The main mechanisms of the development of patriotic sentiments of young people are investigated. As the survey of public attitudes has shown, the majority of young men and women, despite the changes in foreign policy, were preparing for war. As a result of the active work of propaganda structures, the prestige of the army service increased, and the day of conscription became one of the most long-awaited moments of adolescence. A sense of duty and personal responsibility for the future of their homeland contributed to the strengthening of the conscious patriotism of the younger generation, which testified to the high efficiency of the entire system of military and patriotic education on the eve of the Great Patriotic War.

Freedom, autonomy and responsibility are the ends of every educational process, especially in the modern society: globalized, rapid, in transformation; society in which each one of us is called to make numerous choices. Abstract In recent decades, we observe a significant disorganization of family life, especially in the sphere of parental functions performed by unprepared for the role emotional, socially and economically young people. Lack of education, difficulties in finding work, and the lack of prospects for positive change are the main causes of their impoverishment and progressive degradation in the social hierarchy. Reaching young people at risk of social exclusion and provide them with comprehensive care, should be a priority of modern social work and educational work. In order to provide help this social group and cope with the adverse event created a lot of programs to support systemically start in life. An example would be presented in the article KARnet 15+ program as a form of complex activities of a person stimulating subjectivity, and allows you to modify support in individual cases
