Electric shock activity is an activity of an electric discharge into the water to look for fish using a stun. This activity is a way to sustain the local economy of the challenges existing conditions. Because of some reasons such as easy, effective and efficient this way is still used. Another reason this way is still used is because of economic necessity, small capital, and another effort is difficult to do.Even in preserving the environment, the Local Government who has authority in this case issued a regional regulation. Moving on from these problems, the writer wants to know the important role of the Electric shock activity at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang as the foundation to sustain the local economy as well as its impact, with the problem of the studies are (1) How does the Electric shock activity at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun? (2) How is the role of culture in Electric shock activity on maintaining the local economy at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun? (3)What is the impact of Electric shock activity for ecosystems and humans? This research is using qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are people who live in RT 01 Mendawai as the fisherman who use stun to look for fish. The object of this research is the culture of Electric shock activity in maintaining the local economy RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interview and documentation. In the technical validity of the data, the researcher was used a triangulation process.             The results from the culture of electric shockonmaintaining economic society at the RT. 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bunis an activity that has long been done and the result of cultural transformation that has been handed ancestors.This activity is one way to sustain the local economy of the challenges existing conditions. Using a stun for fishing has several factors because it is easy, effective and efficient.Economicnecessity, the capital required is not too large, another effort is difficult to do, and the domicile is the reason behind this culture is still being conducted until today. The impact of electric shock toward the ecosystem of fish just a little bit because it is not spent the ecosystem of fish. Only a small portion is taken for the purposes of trade. The formation of farmer groups will make it easier for farmers to carry out their farming activities. This study aims to examine the role of farmer groups in cocoa farming activities in Ketulungan Village. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Respondents were cocoa farmer groups selected using a purposive method. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews with respondents and informants. The informants in this study were extension agents both from related institutions and from the private sector. The results of this study indicate that the role of farmer groups in farming activities includes: (1) Farmer groups as a forum for sharing information, namely farmer groups disseminating information obtained from instructors to their members through meetings; (2) Farmer groups as a place of discussion, namely farmer groups as a place to find solutions to problems in cocoa farming activities such as maintenance and handling of pests and diseases; (3) Farmer groups as a forum for learning, namely farmer groups as a place to get knowledge about cocoa cultivation; (4) Farmer groups as production units, namely farmer groups as providers of facilities and infrastructure in farming activities of their members such as providing fertilizer and cocoa seeds; (5) Farmer groups as a place of cooperation, namely farmer groups capable of cooperating with extension agents, PT Mars and its members in carrying out their farming activities. It is expected that farmer groups, more actively collaborate in farming activities and can cooperate with the government and other parties to improve their farming activities.

The purpose of this study was to find out about how the role of ICMI (Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association) in building external communication networks. The data collection method used for this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used were direct observation and interview. This research is located in West Aceh Regency, precisely in JLN Sisingamangaraja No. 99 Gampa Village, Meungaboh Dirundeng STAIN Campus and informants in this study amounted to 8 people. Data analysis was performed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study conducted by the author show that the external communication network conducted by the ICMI organization (Indonesian Muslim Cendiawan Association) uses 3 indicators in it, namely (1) personal networks, where the relationships owned by the chairman and the management tend to be more frequent. (2) organizational networks, a link of elements in which they are interconnected. Building cooperation with other organizations, while the network is built usually through a daily board. (3) Global Network, an object that connects the ICMI network with other institutions. From the results the authors consider that the network built by ICMI of the West Aceh Order tends to be carried out by the daily chairman, the lack of involvement of the management in building the external network at the institution due to the factor of the vacuum of activities that had been agreed upon previously and the busyness of the management who work as lecturers, entrepreneurs, dayah leaders and so on. However ICMI the West Aceh Orda also conducts good activities at the national level.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a recession in Indonesia. Islamic philanthropy is a solution offered by Islamic economics in an effort to overcome the impact of economic turmoil due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Islamic philanthropic institutions need to innovate, one of which is through digitalizing aid-raising (zakat, infaq, alms). This study aims to determine public interest in the philanthropic movement and the role of digitalization of Islamic philanthropy in reducing the impact of the economic recession in society. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the object of research is the ACT (Quick Response Action) in Surakarta. The data obtained were sourced from observations, interviews and related literature studies. Research informants came from donation institutions (ACT), donors and recipients of donations. The results showed that during the pandemic, people's motivation to share increased. This positive interest, coupled with the role of digitalizing donation payments, has made it easier for the public to pay for donations. This momentum has proven to trigger the optimization of fundraising for humanitarian aid donations in helping affected communities, so as to reduce the potential for economic turmoil by maintaining the stability of people's purchasing power.

This article discusses the role of Baitul Arqom in Building the character of University Students Of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques such as observation, documentation study and interviews. Through this method, this article found that Baitul Arqom was very instrumental in Building the character of the students of the University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan, Pekalongan, both in terms of religion, science, social life and leadership. The formation of religious character is shown by changing the character of students to be more obedient in worship such as prayer in congregation, especially the dawn prayer, tadarus, and tahajud prayer. The formation of scientific characters is shown by changing the character of students to be more have a high ethos of learning, but it also makes students think moderate, not fanatical which actually makes the ice in thinking. The formation of social community character is shown by the change in the character of students to become more caring, charitable, communicative and so on. The formation of leadership character is shown by changing the character of students more confident to appear in public, able to manage groups and be active in organizations.

This article to description Adam religion and worship Samin community in Region Kudus  Central Java. This research data were descriptive analysis a by interview, participatory observation, and literature review. Data collection was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was observation and literature. Public research aim get rid of stigma as a dissident, ateis, poor. By understanding about Samin realize tolerance. Result, word ‘Adam’ for Samin is prime god creatures. Religious Adam teachings semedi, pray, fasting, and manifested in life wisdom. A place of worship in home (sanggar pamujan), best time of worship at midnight time. Obedience and disobedience dependens personally. Adam religions by government is indigeneus religions. The teachings by oral traditions.basic problem fased Samin community is poor not be a farmer anymore especially young children, not united and disagree between Samin the impact of understanding the teachings said inherit need a middle ground between Samin the attempts to argue for government watch out for.

The objective of this study is to determine the role of the headmaster in building the entrepreneurial spirit of students. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with objects namely the headmaster. The data collection techniques conducted through interviews and observation. The results found that the headmaster has a very important role in building the entrepreneurial spirit of students by creating new innovations in developing entrepreneurship, providing motivation or encouragement to the students, and giving direction to the students to build entrepreneurial spirit. The headmaster builds the entrepreneurial spirit of students who will make a positive contribution so that students can learn to be self-employed and as a valuable provision for their future

A word or phrase (a combination of words) that is used as a name or symbol and which accurately expresses the meaning of a concept, process, state, or characteristic that is unique in a particular field such as science, technology, art and so on. This study aims to describe the characteristic patterns of various linguistic terms during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach in which this study does not use numbers but in the form of words to describe the results of the study. The technique used in this study is to use observation and data collection techniques. The results showed that there were 36 data on the pattern of the Covid-19 language terms which were analyzed and then classified into 14 data in the form of English, 8 data in the form of synonyms, 3 data in the form of English abbreviations, 4 data in the form of Indonesian abbreviations and 6 data in acronym form. The implication of this research is that many people use foreign terms such as corona virus, social distancing, physical distancing, and new normal. Therefore, it is necessary for the role of every citizen, government and media during a pandemic to use the Indonesian language in order to protect the sovereignty of the nation.Keywords: language terms, Covid-19

Direct Regional Head Elections that occur in Indonesia are based on Law Number 1 of 2015 concerning the Establishment of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2014 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents, and Mayors Becoming Laws, which are in the legislation regulating the procedure for the election of Governors, Regents, and Mayors, as well as this, has occurred the South Kalimantan Province post-conflict local election held on 9 December 2015 to elect the Governor of South Kalimantan for the 2016-2021 period. In this study, researchers chose to use a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by means of interviews and observation and documentation. The results of this study are The Impact of the Election of Direct Regional Heads in the Development of State Civil Apparatus Careers in the South Kalimantan Provincial Government in terms of State Civil Apparatus Social is the impression/perception for the State Civil Apparatus that the Regional Head is elected from the election directly as if there is always a connection with supporting the support of the State Civil Apparatus to candidates for Regional Head Candidates when they start the campaign process until the election. (b) Judging from the Economic aspects of the State Civil Apparatus, particularly the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, those in income as long as those originating from Salaries and allowances are relatively still in accordance with the provisions of the legislation concerning inherent Salary and Job Allowances, and the reference to Regional Allowances.

The basic age phase is a golden age for children. The Qur'an as a 'holy book' Muslims should be read, apprehended, cared for and memorized (QS.18:27). Prototype (basic concept) in memorizing it has spread in (QS. 75: 16-18). The application of (QS. 75: 16-18) can be done using the Takrir (repetitive) method. The role of parents, teachers and peers has a major impact on the process of memorizing Al Huffaz (memorization) of the Qur'an at the elementary age level. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, with an insendental sampling technique. The subjects in this study were all of the Tahfidz / Tahfidzah Islamic Center Medan teachers who fostered elementary age children ranging from 5-9 years. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Takrir (repetitive) method as a prototype (basic concept) in memorizing the Qur'an at the basic age level in Islamic Center Medan (2) Takrir (repetitive) method is very effective to be used in forming Al Qur'an recitation at a level. primary age children in Medan Islamic Center (3) The role of parents, teachers and peers is very influential in the process of memorizing an Al Huffaz (memorizer) of the Qur'an at the basic age level at the Islamic Center Medan

Cohesion and coherence in discourse play a role in forming a wholeness in the discourse itself, both discourse and writing. One of the written discourses is the news in the Jawa Pos newspaper, which is the distribution of basic food packages breaking the fast of Ramadhan for the poor in the Tuban area held by PT. PJB UBJOM PLTU Tanjung Awar-awar, in this news is thought to contain elements of cohesion and coherence. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and discourse analysis techniques. The data obtained contains cohesion and coherence. In this data collection, namely by listening to the news and recording it. The results of this study include grammatical cohesion, lexical cohesion and its coherence. Grammatical cohesion includes reference cohesion, recovery cohesion, release cohesion and liaison cohesion. In addition to cohesion there is also coherence that is like the coherence of the means of purpose, the coherence of reasons for action, the coherence of the meaning of reason and so forth. With the discovery of the use of cohesion and discourse coherence in Jawa Pos news.
