Abstract: Dusun Kinahrejo has diverse and interesting regional characteristics, with a dynamic regional order in the development of tourist areas. Kinahrejo hamlet is located in an area prone to eruption of Merapi, which is on the slopes of Mount Merapi Umbulharjo village, Cangkringan, Sleman. The declining interest of tourists during the visit in 2015 has an impact on the sustainability of the tourism potential and the economy of the people who rely heavily on the tourism sector. So the passion of the attraction of existing tourism potential needs to be improved and new potential that can increase the interest of tourists to visit. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis is done through (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) conclusion/verification. The tourism potential of dusun Kinahrejo is diverse, all of them berinduk on nature tourism (ecotourism); There is a passive and active nature tour: the main attractions enjoy nature as scenery, nature as a sports arena, nature as a vehicle of adrenaline triggers, and there are support tours. The continuity of tourism in dusun Kinahrejo is highly dependent on community participation. Potential development of dusun Kinahrejo has 5 tourism potential, 1) religious tourism and cultural pilgrimage of dusun Kinahrejo, 2) nature tourism, 3) adrenaline tourism, 4) culinary tourism and 5) comunal farming of agro-agricultural.Keywords: tourism potential, area characteristics and sustainabilityAbstraksi: Dusun Kinahrejo memiliki karakteristik wilayah yang beragam dan menarik, dengan tatanan kawasan yang dinamis dalam pengembangan kawasan wisata. Dusun Kinahrejo berada pada kawasan rawan bencana erupsi Merapi, yaitu pada lereng gunung Merapi desa Umbulharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman. Menurunya minat wisatawan dalam kunjungan tahun 2015 berdampak keberlanjutan potensi wisata dan perekonomian warga yang banyak bergantung pada sektor pariwisata. Gairah dan daya tarik potensi wisata yang ada perlu ditingkatkan dan potensi baru yang dapat meningkatkan minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, analisis data dilakukan melalui (1) reduksi data; (2) penyajian data; dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Potensi wisata dusun kinahrejo beragam, semua berinduk pada wisata alami (ekowisata); ada wisata alam pasif dan aktif: wisata utama menikmati alam sebagai pemandangan, alam sebagai arena olahraga, alam sebagai wahana pemicu adrenalin, dan ada wisata pendukung. Keberlanjutan wisata di dusun Kinahrejo sangat tergantung pada partisipasi masyarakat. Pengembangan potensi dusun Kinahrejo memiliki 5 potensi wisata yaitu, 1) wisata religi dan budaya ziarah Kinahrejo, 2) wisata jelajah alam, 3) wisata adrenalin, 4) wisata kuliner dan 5) agrowisata peternakan sapi perah komunal.Kata kunci: potensi wisata, karakteristik wilayah dan keberlanjutan

This study aims to determine the potential of historical attractions in Sinjai Regency, the development of historical tourism in Sinjai Regency 2008-2016, and the impact of historical tourism on the communities around the site, the government and tourists. The method used in the research and writing of this thesis is a historical research method, which includes: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interview and literature study techniques. The results of this study indicate that Sinjai as a Level II Region in South Sulawesi has tourism potential that is not inferior to other regions. The Batupake Gojeng Archaeological Park, the Karampuang Indigenous Area, and the Balangnipa Fort are one of the historical tourist destinations offered by Sinjai Regency. Although the Tourism and Culture Office of Sinjai Regency was only established in 2017, activities in the tourism sector will continue to be carried out in previous years. The three historical attractions have their respective developments both in terms of facilities and infrastructure to the number of visitors. The contribution of each element in the development of the historical tourism sector in Sinjai Regency is something that needs to be improved. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the historical attractions in Sinjai Regency have an impact on the socio-cultural, educational and economic sectors for the local government and the people who live around the site.

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Policy Implementation, Investment, and Business Executors on the Effectiveness of Tourism Potential Development in Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research type, with a population of 74,660 people and a sample of 100 people determined by the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques in this study were using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and literature techniques. The results of the study prove that Policy Implementation has an effect of 51.3%, Investment has an effect of 15.5%, Business executors have an effect of 52.6%, Policy Implementation, Investment and Entrepreneurs together have a 52.8% effect on the Effectiveness of Tourism Development. Recommendations from the results of this study are that the implementation of the policy must be supported by a law on tourism and RIPPARDA. Thus, mapping the tourism area which is supported by multi-stakeholder policies and cooperation, will open up large investment opportunities in the tourism sector. Organizational restructuring of the regional tourism office as a business executor from a structural dimension. These three variables must get attention, so they can form quality human resources for the benefit of tourism development in Sarolangun Regency. It has long been observed that tourism is a rapidly changing area of the economy. This applies to both types of tourism, and to tourist destinations. In this context, there is objective problem of reliable and comprehensive information support of tourists and travelers in relation to both the traditional tourism countries and new places. Based on the experience of majority of tourism advanced economies, we believe that geo-portal dedicated to the tourism can serve as such resource. It will have multifaceted importance. On the one hand, the geo-portal can visualize the research results of the territory´s tourism potential and to provide a basis for further scientific and educational works. On the other hand it gives the opportunity for tourists to understand the differences and peculiarities of destination, and for investors - to select promising areas for development. The author gives the example of the geo-portal for tourism created by him with the help of geographic information systems. One of the main distinguishing features of geo-portal is considerations of local differences, because every place has its own uniqueness. For the Republic of Armenia, country with a developing tourism sector, this resource will be useful and necessary. The mountainous terrain and the people living in this area for a long historical period are the main features of the tourism potential of the Republic of Armenia. Geo-portal will provide an opportunity to demonstrate not only a popular attractive tourist sites, but also other objects that may be of tourist interest. This will reduce the pressure on the several popular tourist destinations, as well as to develop tourism in the new parts of the country.

Their daily life is influenced by Islamic teachings and is evident in their social behavior, including in the arts and seeking solace. One of the consolations known in the community is to travel. Of course, Islamic travel and does not violate Islamic law. For the people of Bangkalan, the pilgrimage to the tombs, in addition to being one of the rituals believed to seek blessings, is also a place to tour. Therefore, the pilgrimage to the graves of scholars and community leaders in Bangkalan becomes a sight that can be seen every day. Religious tourism then developed into an opportunity in the development and improvement of people's welfare. Unfortunately, this has not yet become the focus of interest of the Bangkalan district government. Th</em><em>r</em><em>ough building city branding as a religious tourism destination opens up opportunities for Bangkalan to compete with other regions in getting tourist visits. This study tries to identify the problem of tourism development and produce output in the form of religious tourism branding draft for Bangkalan district. The method used is observation and in-depth interviews. Although the results of this study indicate that the Bangkalan district is not ready to build a religious tourism brand, but the data obtained in the field shows that Bangkalan has a lot of religious tourism potential. The results of this study are expected to be input for the district government, scholars and tourism stakeholders. Kehidupan keseharian mereka dipengaruhi ajaran Islam, termasuk dalam berkesenian dan mencari penghiburan. Salah satu penghiburan yang dikenal dalam masyarakat adalah melakukan perjalanan wisata. Tentu perjalanan wisata yang Islami dan tidak melanggar syariat Islam. Bagi masyarakat Bangkalan, ziarah ke makam, selain menjadi salah satu ritual yang dipercayai untuk mencari berkah, juga menjadi ajang berwisata. Karena itu, ziarah ke makam-makam ulama dan tokoh masyarakat di Bangkalan menjadi pemandangan yang bisa dilihat setiap harinya. Wisata religi kemudian berkembang menjadi satu peluang dalam pembangunan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Sayangnya, hal ini belum menjadi <em>focus of interest</em> pemerintah kabupaten Bangkalan. Padahal membangun <em>city branding</em> sebagai destinasi wisata religi membuka kesempatan bagi Bangkalan untuk bersaing dengan wilayah lain dalam mendapatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Penelitian mengidentifikasi problema pembangunan wisata dan menghasilkan <em>output</em> berupa <em>draft branding</em> wisata religi untuk kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Meskipun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kabupaten Bangkalan belum siap membangun <em>brand</em> wisata religi, tetapi data yang diperoleh di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa Bangkalan punya banyak potensi wisata religi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah kabupaten, ulama, dan stake holder pariwisata. Tourism is one of the capital in increasing the income of a region. Through culture, the traditions of local people also have a stake in developing the tourism sector of an area. The potential in terms of culture, nature, and man-made become an attraction for visitors. Not just for refreshing, tourism potential can also add insight into both religion and philosophical values in it. This service is done by using the method of collecting data using and in-depth interviews through observation to find out directly through interviewing the speakers around the tourist attractions. Data inventoried both in terms of culture, nature, and artificial without heeding the values of philosophy or symbols contained in the culture in the place. The city of Balikpapan and the borders of the Kutai Kartanegara region, namely Amburawang and Samboja, also have several supporting places as tourist attractions. In addition to its still attractive nature, culture as a potential supporter can be found in several places in these areas such as religious tourism, culinary tourism, or in accordance with the economic system of the surrounding community. <p>Special interest tourism is one of the efforts to provide alternative tourist attractions and sustainable tourism development in Bali. Visits of both domestic and foreign tourists to Bali in the last 4 years (2015-2019) have increased by an average of 8%. Now the tourism sector in Bali, especially in Bangli Regency, is starting to investigate or explore the possible development of tourist attractions through the development of tourist villages. In this case, the development of special tourism, including the tourist village of Bayung Gede, Bangli is very dependent on the architectural components of traditional settlements and the traditions of the residents in it as a source of attraction and main attraction for tourists. However, the influence of tourism has led to the transformation of traditional settlements. In this case, the transformation has given rise to a paradoxical phenomenon where on the one hand traditional housing attracts tourists, on the other hand the presence of tourists has led to a transformation of the traditional settlements of an area. The purpose of this study is to examine the architectural components of the Bayung Gede Village settlement as a tourism potential based on special interest tourism and then to find out how far the tourism architectural potential is found and how strong the Bayung Gede Village settlement icon is as a special interest DTW. The method used is a qualitative-exploratory and descriptive method. The results show that the traditional settlement of Bayung Gede Village contains elements of special interest tourism such as elements of novelty seeking, quality seeking, enriching, rewarding, adventuring and learning, so that it has the potential as religious tourism (the existence of four types of graves), culture (settlement and residential layout) and citrus plantation sector agro-tourism in improving the economic sector of the community. Investigation and inventory of Bayung Gede traditional housing is an effort to find a village icon that has prestige that can attract tourists to visit and be able to compete with other tourist villages.</p>

ABSTRAK Devisa terbanyak bagi daerah disumbangkan oleh bidang pariwisata. Hal ini disebabkan karena Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman Potensi wisata. Salah satunya di Tulungagung terdapat Pantai yang sudah dikenal oleh wisatawan dan wisatawan sudah banyak yang berkunjung,yaitu Pantai Gemah. Destinasi tersebut dikelola oleh Kelompok Sadar Wisata “Lejar Misuwur” yang bertugas mengelola dan mengembangkan Potensi Wisata Pantai Gemah Tulungagung sehingga menjadi Destinasi Wisata yang Layak Jual. Dengan adanya Pokdarwis ini diharapkan mampu menambah minat wisatawan baik lokal maupun nasional untuk mengunjungi pantai Gemah karena objek wisata sudah dikelola dengan sangat baik oleh kelompok Pokdarwis Lejar Misuwur tersebut. Bagaimana pengembangan obyek wisata di pantai Gemah Tulungagung melalui pembentukan Pokdarwis dan 1Faktor pendukung dan 1penghambat apa saja dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan pariwisata di pantai Gemah Tulungagung merupakan 1rumusan masalah yang akan diteliti 1dalam penelitian ini.1Tujuan penelitian ini 1adalah untuk menganalisa dampak pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata bagi pengembangan pariwisata di pantai gemah beserta faktor pendorong dan penghambat di dalamnya. Dengan terbentuknya Pokdarwis di pantai Gemah membawa dampak yaitu wisata pantai Gemah menjadi terkenal di skala nasional. Dari sisi pengelolaan juga sudah mulai baik dan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketramplan masyarakat disekitar pantai Gemah. This is because Indonesia has a diversity of tourism potential. One of them in Tulungagung there is a beach that is already known by tourists and many tourists have visited, namely Gemah Beach. The destination is managed by the Tourism Awareness Group "Lejar Misuwur" which is in charge of managing and developing the Tourism Potential of Tulungagung Gemah Beach so that it becomes a Tourism Destination Worth Selling. With this Pokdarwis, it is hoped that it will increase the interest of both local and national tourists to visit Gemah beach because the tourist attraction has been managed very well by the Lejar Misuwur Pokdarwis group. How is the development of tourism objects on Gemah Tulungagung beach through the formation of Pokdarwis and what 1supporting and inhibiting 1factors in the implementation of tourism development on Gemah Tulungagung beach is 1the formulation of the 1problem that will be examined 1in this study. The purpose of 1this study was to analyze 1the impact of forming a tourism awareness group for tourism development in Panati Gemah 1along with the driving and inhibiting 1factors in it. To analyze the research results, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach. Where 1data collection is done 1by interview, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were administrators, members of the Lejar Misuwur Pokdarwis, the people of Keboireng Village and, visitors to Gemah Beach. Proof of data validity using source triangulation technique.1Analysis of the data used is a 1qualitative analysis with data reduction steps, data display, and drawing conclusions. With the formation of Pokdarwis on Gemah beach, the impact is that Gemah beach tourism has become famous on a national scale. In terms of management, it has also started well and the knowledge and skills of the community around Gemah beach have increased. This study, entitled The Tourism Potential of Sibolo Beach, Batu Islands, South Nias Regency to Increase Tourist Visits, discusses how the potential of Sibolo beach to attract tourist visits. Qualitative descriptive research method. The informants of this research are the people of Sibolo beach, tourists, and the staff of Pinnacles North Telo who are the managers of the Sibolo beach. The results show that Sibolo beach has sufficient potential to be visited by tourists but does not have complete facilities and infrastructure such as tourist information centers, money changers, souvenir shops or local craft centers and the lack of skilled human resources in the tourism sector. Promotions that have not been carried out optimally and only use a few promotional strategies and the incessant efforts made by the manager of the object and tourist attraction of Sibolo beach in increasing tourist visits.

<p><em>The potential for tourism activities in Jembrana Regency deserves attention to be able to enrich the choice of attractions for tourists who travel with various motivations. However, the scarcity of literature that discusses the topic of tourism potential, especially in Jembrana, is a problem that needs to be resolved, especially for academics. Supported by several literatures that closely related to the research topic, this paper provides a descriptive analysis of available and relevant articles in the tourism sector with a special emphasis on religious tourism. The purpose of writing this article is to discuss and provide a systematic view in a scientific framework to describe Blimbingsari Village as a leading potential in the development of religious tourism in Bali, especially in Jembrana Regency.</em></p><p><em>Keywords: religion, tourism, religious tourism.</em></p>

At present, the tourism sector is a sector that is quite potential to be developed in Indonesia, because it is considered to have a positive impact as a driver of economic activity in this country. In addition, the development of tourism objects is also expected to be able to improve the economy of the surrounding community and educate the public to be able to develop their own area. Taman Tebing Breksi in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta is one of the objects that has a tourism potential that was successfully managed by using the concept of Community Based Tourism (CBT) by the people of Sambirejo Village. Not yet known the factors that determine success in management are problems that occur in the management of the Taman Tebing Breksi. The main objective of this research is to analyze the factors of success in managing the Taman Tebing Breksi tourism object that applies the concept of Community Based Tourism (CBT). The concept of CBT is one way to create a sustainable tourism industry in an area, where local community participation is needed in developing tourism objects so that the management is successful. This research is a descriptive study with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Quantitative data collection is done by conducting field surveys to tourist sites and in-depth interviews with related parties, while for collecting qualitative data is done by filling out questionnaires by visitors. Belum diketahuinya faktor-faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan dalam pengelolaan merupakan permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pengelolaan objek wisata Taman Tebing Breksi. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor keberhasilan pengelolaan objek wisata Taman Tebing Breksi yang menerapkan konsep Community Based Tourism (CBT). Konsep CBT merupakan salah satu cara untuk menciptakan industri pariwisata berkelanjutan di suatu daerah, dimana partisipasi masyarakat setempat dibutuhkan dalam mengembangkan objek wisata sehingga pengelolaanya berhasil. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan kombinasi pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan melakukan survey lapangan ke lokasi wisata dan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dengan pihak terkait, sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data kualitatif dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner oleh pengunjung. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil berupa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dalam pengelolaan objek wisata Taman Tebing Breksi.
