The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the extent of anxiety symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic on university students of Shkoder. Another purpose is to find out the relationship between anxiety symptoms with some demographical variables such as gender, age, level of study, field of study and having been infected or not by coronavirus. Data was collected using the Corona Disease Anxiety Scale (CDAS), administered online to assess the anxiety level. The sample consists of 175 university students from different Faculties of the University of Shkoder. The results showed that the prevalence rate of heavy anxiety during the pandemic is about 10.3%. T-test indicated that female students are more prone to experience anxiety during the pandemic than male ones. Anova analysis indicated that midwifery students show the highest level of anxiety compared to other fields of studies. But anxiety was not associated with age, level of study or having been infected by coronavirus. These findings are important in detecting the psychological consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in different societies.

According to the results of the research, no significant difference was observed in the comparison of the hopelessness and self-esteem levels between pre and post-test. In addition, there was a significant difference in the hopelessness level of male and female students but any significant difference was not observed in terms of self-esteem. The problem of the current paper arises from the individual’s need to hold himself accountable and reconsider his behaviors or actions when many situations passing him in daily in which he lives and keeps into contact with those around him. This situation is accompanied by either psychological pain or the individual’s feeling of relief, each according to the nature of the personality of this individual and his emotional state. The individual’s feeling of guilt is nothing but a necessity for the individual to discipline himself and address the mistakes and abusive actions in order to stop them once and for all, provided that the situation does not reach the feeling of imaginary guilt, which is considered obstructing his thinking and leads him to give errors greater than their normal size, which is what happens in patients having depression. Al-Ansari’s study (2001) maintained that university students suffer from situational guilt at a rate of (8.9%), while the percentage of university female students reached (17.4%). This gives an indication that female students are more likely to feel situational guilt than male students and that these percentages are serious and cannot be underestimated. Because the kindergarten students are part of the university students, their role as future teachers for an important segment of society is the focus, namely Kindergarten Dept. The kindergarten teacher should be more responsible and more psychologically and emotionally balanced in its dealings with the different situations that it brings together with the child and be alert to the conscience to achieve equality between children, taking into account the individual differences between them, so the problem of the current research was identified by the following question: Is there a relationship between situational guilt and conscientious awareness for kindergarten students? The current research aims to identify the relationship between situational guilt and conscientious awareness among female kindergarten students. The research sample consisted of (300) female students from the Kindergarten Department, and to achieve the goal of the research, two scales were prepared: the Situational Guilt Scale and the Conscientious Awareness Scale for the Kindergarten Department students. Through reviewing the literature and previous studies, the researcher identified (32) items for the Situational Guilt Scale and (24) to measure the final form of conscientious awareness, the validity, and reliability of the two scales were confirmed. After using the statistical methods, the research reached the following results: • The research sample has a high degree of situational guilt. • The research sample has a high degree of conscientious awareness. • There is a high correlation between situational guilt and conscientious awareness among female students of the Kindergarten Department.

This study aims to determine the university students’ level of motivation in terms of different variables. A study group of this research has been designed through one of the non-random sampling methods, Using appropriate sampling, 606 students from Faculty of Education of C.U. have been involved in this study. Motivation scale in English Language Learning developed by Mehdiyev,Usta,Uğurlu (2015) was used as an instrument of data collection. T-test and one - way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to resolve problems of this research. As a result of the research the motivation level of university students hasn’t been revealed significantly different regarding to the gender variable. However, considering the t-test results of motivation scale dimensions, confidence, attitude and personal use, significant difference is seen in favour of women in personal use dimension. The level of language learning motivation of female students is higher than men’s regarding to personal use dimension. However, men’s and women’s views don’t differ significantly in attitude and confidence dimensions. University students don’t present significant differences in terms of birth place, parent’s education level, total motivation scores and confident, attitude and personal dimensions. Students’ motivation levels are seen not to be influenced by the places such as village, provision or city where they have spent the most of their lifetime. At the same time the findings revealed that parental status variable in terms of primary, secondary and university graduates has no effects on students’ motivation.

AbstractIn this article we analyze the relationship with knowledge, with teaching and with learning in activities developed in a subproject of Mathematics in the Institutional Program of Initiation to Teaching (PIBID). The data consisted of the registration of actions carried out in the classroom by a supervisor (teacher), six undergraduate students in Mathematics and students of the Elementary School of a public school in the state of Paraná, Brazil. For the interpretation of the data we used an analytical instrument called Matrix 3x3. Background: Vitamin D deficiency is today acknowledged as a pandemic. Vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency are associated with many chronic diseases, including common cancers, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, and infectious and autoimmune diseases. Objective: This study aims to investigate the relationship between the cotinine level in urine and Vitamin D.Methods: This study employed a descriptive and relational screening design.  It was conducted with 74 smoking university students between January 2019 and March 2020. Data were collected through socio-demographic form and Fagerstrom test for nicotine dependence. Besides, the participating students’ blood and urine samples were taken in a suitable environment. Results: The average age of the participating students was 21.50±2.09. Of all the students, 71.6% were males, 62.2% were exposed to the sun between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., and the average number of cigarettes smoked daily was 13.52±8.22. The average Vitamin D level in blood was 32.4±15.3 (ng/mL), and the average cotinine level in urine was 1.60 ± .32 (ng/L). No statistically significant relationships were found between the Vitamin D level and the cotinine level (p<0.05).Conclusion: Smoking causes diseases and death in many people, and it is a changeable risk factor.  Nursing practices on the struggle against smoking are effective. No significant relationships were found between the Vitamin D level in blood and cotinine level in urine.
