ABSTRACT  This purpose of this study is three. First, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang before using the Think Talk Write (TTW) technique by the media of serial images. Secondly, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang after using the TTW technique by the media of serial images. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of  TTW  techniqueby the media of serial images on the skills of writing procedure text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with one group pretest and posttest design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang before using the TTW technique by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average value of 76,95 (under of minimal completeness criteria). Second, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang after using the TTW technique by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average grade of 81,51 (above of minimal completeness criteria). Third, based on the t-test, H1 is accepted at the 95% confidence level and dk= (n1 as a numerator and n2 as denominator) because tcount>ttable (2,39>1,70).  Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik TTW, Media Gambar Berseri, Teks Prosedur

ABSTRACT  This purpose of this study is three. Secondly, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 20 Padang after using the project based learning model assisted by the media of serial images. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of project based learning models assisted by the media of serial images on the skills of writing procedure text for students of class VII in Junior High School 20 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with one group pretest and posttest design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 20 Padang before using the project based learning model assisted by the media of serial images is of sufficient qualification (C) with an average value of 62,76. Second, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 20 Padang after using the project based learning model assisted by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average grade of 78,52. ABSTRACT This purpose of this study is three. First, describing the discution of writing text for students of class IX in Junior High School Muhammadiya 1 Padang using the Think Pair Share cooperative model learning, describing the discution of writing text for students of class IX in Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the conventional model. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of  Think Pair Share cooperative model learning on the skills of writing discution text for students of class IX in Junior High School  Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with randomized two group design posttest only design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the discution of writing text in IX  of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the Think Pair Share cooperative model learning is of good qualification (B) with an average value of 83,37 (above of minimal completeness criteria). Second, the discution of writing text in the IX  of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Padang using the conventional model with almost enough qualification (HC) with an average grade of 49,11 (under of minimal completeness criteria). Third, based on the t-test, H1 is accepted at the 95% confidence level and dk= (n1 as a numerator and n2 as denominator) because tcount>ttable (1.70 < 43.4679). This research aims at designing a learning media which named LEEF (Learning English Easy and Fun) as English learning media for seventh grade students of Junior High School. This learning media consists of some materials and exercises which is appropriate and feasible to be studied for students. All materials in this media are based on junior high school syllabus of K13 curriculum. The research method used in this research is Research and Development. This development used ADDIE model which have several steps, those are; 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The result of this research shows that from the media validation result got 4.00 score it was in “fair and worth to use” category, and the material validation got 3.86 score. The students’ responses of try out result score 4.26 were in “fair and worth to use” category. By having those result, this LEEF (Learning English Easy and Fun) is feasible to be used as a learning media for seventh grade students of junior high school. Furthermore this research can be used as reference to other researchers in developing English learning media in different level of students.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. This research aimed to find out the students’ perception about the school zoning system and the students’ learning interests from the seventh grade junior high school in Buleleng regency, as well as the effect of it. This research used correlation-quantitative research. The subject of this research was the students of seventh grade junior high school in Buleleng regency. The object of this research was the students’ learning interests affected by the students’ perception about the school zoning enrolment system for the new students. The data were taken by spreading the questionnaires, doing the observation and interviewing. The respondent in this research were 318 students of seventh grade junior high school in Buleleng regency who chosen randomly from each school. There were two variables in this research, the students’ perception about the school zoning system (X) and the students’ learning interests (Y). This research was analysed by using one sample t-Test, linier test and simple linear regression test. The results showed that: (1) students' perception of school zoning system for junior high students in Buleleng regency have been carried out so well. Also, the facilities and the infrastructures already supported the policy properly. The results showed an average number on 38,317 and the t-Test showed 29,196. (2) The students' learning interests in junior high school Buleleng regency showed a quite good result. This statement was supported by the average number on 2.7758 and the T-test was 29,20. (3) There was a significant result between the students’ perception about the school zoning system and the student’s learning interest. This result was supported by doing an analysis of independent sample t-Test analysis with a t-count showed 1,848 > 1,655 with percentage 56%.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe things as follow. First, describes the writing skills of the exposition text of grade VIII Junior High School 31 Padang before using the discovery learning model. Secondly, describes the writing skills of the exposition text of grade VIII Junior High School 31 Padang after using the discovery learning model. Third, analyze the effect of discovery learning models on the exposition writing skills of grade VIII studensts of Junior High School 31 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research using experimental methods Based on the results of the study, can be concluded three things as follows. First, the writing skills of the exposition text of  grade VIII students of Junior High School 31 Padang before using discovery learning model are in fair qualifications (61,59). Secondly, the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of Junior High School 31 Padang after using discovery learning model are in good qualifications (78,26). Third, there is a significant influence in the use of discovery learning models on the exposition writing skills of grade VIII students of Junior High School 31 Padang, so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted in H0 is rejected because the test results prove that tcount is greater than ttable (2,04>1,70). Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Discovery Learning, Menulis Teks Eksposisi

The purpose of this study is to know whether the development of teaching materials gamification for seventh-grade students is feasible and interesting for use in junior high school. The subjects of the experiment were seventh-grade students at SMP Bandar Lampung. This research method is Research and Development (R&D), which a using Borg and Gall development model. The results of the assessment are: the expert assessment of the material giving a scored with an average percentage of 76% is categorized as highly feasible, the media or design experts scored with an average percentage of 71% categorized as feasible and the linguist gave a score with an average percentage of 69% categorized as feasible. In small group trials, an average of 3,6 was obtained with very attractive and feasible categories. In the field trial, it was found that the average of 3,4 was obtained with very attractive and feasible categories and the teacher's response to the materials gamifikasi, it was found that the average of 3,3 was obtained with very attractive and feasible categorized. So it can be concluded that the gamification teaching materials on the are categorized very attractive and feasible for use in mathematics learning in junior high school.

Secondly, it describes the writing skills of fantasy text of grade VII Junior High School 7 Pariaman using a picture and picture models. Third, describe the effect of using picture and picture models against writing fantasy text skills grade VII Junior High School 7 Pariaman. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this research is one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study are three. First, the fantasy text writing skills of grade VII Junior High School 7 Pariaman before using the picture and picture model are in the Almost Enough qualification with an average score of 52.99. Secondly, the skill of writing fantasy text for grade VII Junior High School 7 Pariaman after using the picture and picture model is in the qualification More Than Enough with an average count of 69.53. Third, based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is at a significant level of 95% and the degree of freedom (dk) = n-1 because tcount > t table, which is 4.59 > 1.70. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, model picture and picture, menulis teks cerita fantasi

This study aims to improve teacher competence in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 teachers at Mandau 011 Junior High School. The timing of the research is carried out in two cycles starting on Monday 11 February to Saturday 23 February 2019. Analysis of the data used is qualitative in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. While for quantitative data descriptive analysis is carried out by calculating the average value and percentage. The results of the study indicate an increase in the competency of 011 Mandau Junior High School teachers in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. there is a cycle I of the average teacher competence of 70,6 with sufficient categories. The average teacher competency in the second cycle is 76,3 which is included in the good category. Classically, as many as 90% of teachers have been able to plan authentic assessments properly.

Kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia sekitar 54,89%, sisanya 45,11% dismenorea sekunder. Dismenorea primer  pada siswi SMP X dari 35 siswi 25 siswi mengalami disminor bila haid. Salah satu pengobatan dismenorea secara non-farmakologis yaitu hipnoterapi. Hipnoterapi merupakan salah satu cara yang mudah, cepat, efektif, dan efisien dalam menjangkau pikiran bawah sadar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea pada siswi SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test-post-test. Jumlah populasi yang didapat 117 orang dan jumlah sampel yang diambil 20 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan alat ukur Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS). Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t-dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata skala dismenorea sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 6,50 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah diberikan intervensi adalah 1,35, terdapat pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea (t=17,596, p-value= 0,001). Hipnoterapi dapat disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk mengatasi dismenorea.Kata kunci: Dismenorea primer, hipnoterapi, SMP.Effect of Hypnotherapy on Alleviating Primary Dysmenorrhea in Junior High School StudentsAbstractThe incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia amounts to approximately 54.89%, while another 45.11% is secondary dysmenorrhea. 25 out of 35 female students at SMP Patriot Bangsa (Patriot Bangsa Junior High School) experience primary dysmenorrhea when menstruating. One of nonpharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is an easy, fast, effective, and efficient way to treat dysmenorrhea by reaching the subconcious. This research aimed to identify the effect of hypnotherapy on dysmenorrhea in junior high school students. This research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design. The population of this research was 117 students and 20 students were chosen as sample with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from respondents using Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) instrument. Data were analyzed in two steps, univariate and bivariate with t-dependent test. The results showed that the average value of dysmenorrhea before intervention is 6.5 and after intervention is 1.35. Hypnotherapy was found to have an effect on dysmenorrhea (t=17,596, p-value 0,001). It was suggested to the school that they should conduct nonpharmacological interventions such as hypnotherapy as treatment of dysmennorhea.Key words: Dysmenorrhea primer, hypnotherapy, SMP.
