This study aims to describe: (1) folklore structure of local legend Tujuah in Kanagarian Sikucua Timur sub-district V Koto Kampuang Dalam Padang Pariaman district, (2) social function folklore local legend Tujuah in Kanagarian Sikucua Timur sub-district V district Koto Kampuang sub-district Padang Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data of this research are folklore of local legends of Tujuah in Kanagarian Sikucua Timur, Subdistrict V, Koto Kampuang Dalam, Padang Pariaman District. The data in this study were analyzed in four stages, namely: (1) the data identification stage, the data collected from the informants were identified through two stages, namely: (a) the stage of transcription, transliteration, and (b) the stage of describing the results of observation, recording, and interview, (2) Data classification or analysis stage, (3) Discussion phase and conclusion of the results of classification or data analysis, (4) Reporting phase. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the folklore structure of local legend Tujuah in Kanagarian Sikucua Timur, V Subdistrict, Koto Kampuang Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency consists of, namely: (1) language style, language style speech used by folklore in local legend Folklore Pariaman dialect, (2) point of view, (3) character and character, figures found in local folklore local legend Pujuran Tujuah is divided into two, Sutan Bagindo as the main character, and Putri Bungsu, Mandeh Rubiah, Rajo Simanta as a side character, ( 4) background, background of folklore local legend Pujuran Tujuah is a setting, time setting and social setting, (5) plot / plot, plot / plot in folklore local legend Pincuran Tujuah is a conventional plot, and has three stages: , the initial stage or introduction (beginning), middle stage or conflict (midle), and the final stage or end (end), (6) themes, and (7) mandate. This study aims to describe: (1) the structure of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu in Kenagarian Surantih, Kecamatan Sutera, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. (2) social function of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu in Kenagarian Surantih, Kecamatan Sutera, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data from this study is legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu. The data collection technique was carried out in two stages, (1) the recording stage of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu, (2) collection of data on the storytelling environment. The results of this study can be concluded that the structure of folklore of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu consists of: (1) the style of language, the speech style of the language used by informants is the Minang language of the Surantih dialect. The language used is easy to understand, interesting, and contains aesthetic suggestions, (2) characterization, characters in legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu consists of, the main characters, that are Puti and his two siblings and Amak, while the second characters in legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu are Puti Husband. The characterization of each character is explained physically, psychologically, and social interaction, (3) background, background found in legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu are place setting, time setting, and background setting, (4) the plot used in legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu is a conventional plot, because the story starts from the early stages, middle stage and final stage, (5) theme, the theme of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu is the infidelity of three children to biological mother, (6) mandate, mandate in  of legend legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu, that is, as a child may not be rebellious to parents, they should not argue with what parents say, and they must not hurt their parent. The social function of folklore of legenda anak durhaka Batu Kutu in Kenagarian Surantih, Kecamatan Sutera, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, that are: (1) educating, (2) inheriting oral traditions, and (3) as group identity. Keywords: folklore, Batu Kutu, social function

This study aimed to describe the structure and function of social expression of a ban on love, dating, and married in Kenagarian Toboh Sikaladi Kecamatan Sintuk Toboh Gadang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Background or where the study was conducted in Kenagarian Toboh Sikaladi Sintuk Toboh Tower District of Padang Pariaman district. The informants consist of one main informant and two supportive informants. Data were collected through three stages, namely observation, interview and recording techniques. After that, the data is analyzed by a data inventory phase, phase description of the structure and a social function, stage identifies the data, and reporting stage. Based on the results, it can be concluded that data about people's trust ban expression of love, dating, and married in Kenagarian Toboh Sikaladi Kecamatan Sintuk Toboh Gadang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman found as many as 53 expression. The structure of the people's trust in the public ban Kenagarian Toboh Sikaladi Kecamatan Sintuk Toboh Gadang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman is divided into two forms,ie expression of belief and expression structured two-part folk beliefs structured three parts.The phrase structured ban two parts are found as many as 45 expression, whereas expression of a structured three parts found eight expression. This study included into the category of folk beliefs surrounding human environment of love, courtship, and marriage. The social function of the people's trust ban expression in this research, strengthen religious emotion and conviction found as many as five expressions, fantasy projection system found 31 expression, educate found three expressions, prohibit found 13 expression, and had found a phrase.Keywords: social expression, local beliefs, prohibition

This research is aimed to describe: (1) the structure of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam; and (2) the social function of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam. This sort of research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. This research data is structure and social function of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam. Data is collected from informants through two stages, that is (1) recording folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah, and (2) data collection about storytelling environment. The data were analyzed by the steps of: (1) a data inventory phase; (2) classification of data; (3) the stage of discussion or conclusion from data classification results; and (4) the stage of reporting. Based on the research, was found the following statements. (1) The structure of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam including: (a) language style; (b) characterization; (c) background; (d) storyline; (e) theme; and (f) mandate. The rapid science in the modern era, provides significant changes for humans, both in the fields of economics, politics, culture, environment, society, education, and even religion. The 19th century is a century of science that is growing rapidly, this can be seen from the emergence of various scientists who provide concepts, theories based on philosophy with basic ontology, epistemology, and axiology as a contribution to the development of science. One of them, the scientist known as the father of sociology, was Auguste Comte a scientist from France. Comte is famous for its philosophy of postivism because of the many references by scientists in the contemporary era. This is based on the calculation of the success of designing the social structure of modern humans with three stages of law, but one side of the theory he produced has eliminated the fundamental value in humans, namely eliminating the metaphysical basis. In a three-stage law, more concerned with physical values than metaphysical values, this will result in a society that abandons religion and even eliminates the existence of God. The thoughts produced by Comte are thoughts originating from the west, where the basic West is relativism so if viewed from an Islamic point of view this theory will produce atheists and eliminate the sanctity of religion. In Islam religion and society are inseparable because religion is a guideline that is used as a basis in people's lives based on the values of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Therefore in this paper we will study more deeply the criticisms of Aguste Comte's thinking, using qualitative research types, with descriptive analysis methods and theological philosophical approaches.

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the structure and social function of the folk song (lullaby) of Laloklah Nak Kanduang community in Nagari Paninggahan, Junjung Sirih District, Solok Regency. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data obtained from informants through recording, recording, observation, and direct interviews with informants. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed in the following stages: (1) the data identification stage, (2) the data analysis stage, (3) the discussion stage and the conclusion of the data classification results, (4) the reporting stage. Laloklah Nak Kanduang's song has a structure like that found in poetry, namely physical structure (lines, stanzas, and sounds) and inner structure (patterns of association, patterns of images and emotions as well as themes and messages). Then the social functions, namely three (1) creative functions, (2) enthusiasm, (3) hope and prayer. The oral tradition of humming needs to be preserved, considering that the values contained in chanting are priceless cultural assets.

This research had a purpose to describe Social Structure and Function of Legend of Sampuraga Story. The theory used by researchers in this research was folklore theory. The type of this research is qualitative research with description method which is explaining facts explicitly obtained from research object. To be able to describe the Social Structure and Function of the Legend of Sampuraga, this research is done by analyzing the data as an object with the following steps. (1) to describe the Structure of Folklore Legend of Sampuraga. (2) to describe the socio-function of the folklore of the Samapuraga legend. Structures are elements that build a ceruta, there are elements that are (1) characterizations, (2) style of language, (3) events and plot, (4) point of view, (5) background, and (6) theme and mandate. Furthermore, social function is a form of community belief to folklore they have and become a separate function in their social life. The social functions are (1) as a means of entertainment, (2) as a means of education (3) a means of social control, (4) social solidarity inauguration, and (5) group identity. Based on data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that there are only 5 elements in the Structure of Folklore Legend because the point of view is not found in the folklore Legend Sampuraga. All the social functions described above apply to the community of folklore owner Legend Sampuraga.Keywords: folklore, sampuraga, social function

Potensi konflik sosial di masyarakat diakibatkan oleh keberagaman dan perbedaan suku, agama, ras, dan golongan. Melalui sudut pandang gerakan sosial, Jamaah Maiyah di forum Mocopat Syafaat memperlihatkan adanya resolusi konflik dalam masyarakat. Peneliti bertujuan untuk melihat bentuk inisiasi dan efektifitas Jamaah Maiyah di forum Mocopat Syafaat dalam upayanya mengurangi potensi konflik tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan observasi partisipatif untuk melihat fenomena Jamaah Maiyah secara langsung. Data hasil wawancara diperoleh dari informan utama dan pendukung dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, tampilan data, dan gambaran kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bentuk inisiasi yang dilakukan Jamaah Maiyah adalah dengan melakukan diskusi rutin dalam forum pengajian Mocopat Syafaat. Konsep ‘Sinau Bareng’ dalam Maiyah merupakan perspektif untuk saling bertukar pikiran yang berdampak terhadap perubahan perilaku individu. Keberadaan Jamaah Maiyah secara efektif mampu meresolusi konflik berdasarkan aspek tujuan, integrasi, dan adaptasinya. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa Jamaah Maiyah merupakan gerakan sosial alternatif. The potential of social conflict in society will always exist due to diversity and differences in ethnic, religion, race, and groups. The point of view of the social movement, Jamaah Maiyah in the Mocopat Syafaat forum shows the existence of conflict resolution in society. The purpose is to see the form of initiation and effectiveness in reducing the potential of conflict. This research uses qualitative methods and participatory observation approaches, to see the Jamaah Maiyah phenomenon. Interview data were obtained from the main and supporting informants by using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used an interactive model through three stages; namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that the form of initiation carried out by Jamaah Maiyah was conducting regular discussions in the Mocopat Syafaat forum. The concept of 'Sinau Bareng' in Maiyah is a perspective for exchanging ideas that have an impact to changes individual behavior. The existence of Jamaah Maiyah was effective able to resolve conflicts based on aspects of purpose, integration and adaptation. This also proves that Jamaah Maiyah is an alternative social movement.

This study aimed to describe: (1) the structure of folklore in local legend Pincuran Tujuah in Nagari Koto Tangah Simalonggang Village Kapalo Koto Kecamatan Payakumbuah Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, (2) social function of Folklore Legend Pincuran Tujuah. The type of research was qualitative research used descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and recording of interviews with informants in Nagari Koto Tangah Simalonggang Kapalo Koto Village Payakumbuah Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota District. Based on the result of research, it is concluded the following things. First, Folklore Structure Legend Locally Pincuran Tujuah includes: (a) Characterization, consists of four characters, namely the main character and sideline. The main character is emak Gendong known as the person who has a patient and hard heart and while the side character is two children emak Gendong and neighbors who have a sense of jealousy to emak Gendong (b) Plot, the plot of legend Pincuran Tujuah is conventional groove, because a sequential event through regular causal relationships from the introduction of background, the main character, the entry into conflicts, and the ending of the story. (c) Background, this research is carried out in Nagari Koto Tangah Simalonggang Kapalo Koto Village Payakumbuah Subdistrict of Lima Puluh Kota Regency, and also there are also (d) Style of Language and (e) Less point of view is depicted in this legend story. Second, the social function of local folklore Pincuran Tujuah legend is as a function of educating, bequeath, identity, and tradition.Keywords: Folkore, Structure of Folklore, Social Function

 This study aims to describe: (1) the structure of local legend Datuak Parpatih Nan Sabatang’s grave in Munggu Tanah, Jorong Batu Palano, Nagari Salayo, District Kubung, Solok Regency, and (2) the social function of local legend Datuak Parpatih Nan Sabatang’s grave in Munggu Tanah, Jorong Batu Palano, Nagari Salayo, District Kubung, Solok Regency. The source of this research data is story about local legend Datuak Parpatih Nan Sabatang’s grave in Munggu Tanah, Jorong Batu Palano, Nagari Salayo, District Kubung, Solok Regency. There are two stages to collect the data. First, doing interview with informant and record it. Then, transcribe the recordings. Second, collecting data about informant environment. Based on result of the study concluded: (1) The folklore of local legend Datuak Parpatih Nan Sabatang’s grave told by informant with understoodable language, have ten character, the story’s background is in Nagari Salayo, and theme of the story is about Datuak Parpatiah’s body contested, and (2) social function of the local legend Datuak Parpatih Nan Sabatang’s grave are for entertain, education, cultural preservation, and group identity. Keywords: folklore, structure, social function, local legend

Abstract In this study, I would like to understand the background of sharing coffee online and get to know why it encourages young people to post their coffee. I analyse the two popular parts of our everyday lives, coffee and Instagram, and their connection points, which are coffee posts as communication tools and their posting and content sharing itself as a form of communication. In my theoretical background, I reflect on the process of coffee becoming a consumer product, the relationships between cafés and the public, and I reflect on the features of Instagram that captivate young people and enable online social rites. Regarding the question of presence, I am looking for the answer to the peculiarities of the relationship between online and offline, the dissonance caused by the simultaneous appearance on the two stages. The aim of the paper is to compare the traditional and the online characteristics of the coffee community and to interpret it as a rite. Based on the theoretical background of digital ethnography, using participatory observation and photomontage techniques, I explore attitudes and motivations among the Generation Z young people in Târgu-Mureş in terms of this activity. These two evocative methods, further interpreting the visuals of Instagram, allow interpretation not only from an aesthetic point of view but also in terms of the analysis of their symbol system, background, and motivations. In my interpretations, the acceptance of manipulation, the attitude of reality, the social characteristics of online coffee communities, the relationships between Instagram visuality and Generation Z media consumption needs, compensation practices that use coffee posts as an excuse and provide insight into the self-reflexive process of coffee post backgrounds are explicated. In my final conclusions, I outline the system of likeability for coffee posts as a feature of competitive, community photography. I refer to the sharing of coffee online as new contexts of parasocial relations, and I also reflect on coffee posts as a self-branding opportunity that can be used as a tool for self-expression.
