The problem of deixis is an obstacle in understanding reading texts, especially literary works. This study aims to identify and describe deixis in short story literary works. In addition, the findings of this study aim to be a medium in Indonesian language learning activities, especially in text description material. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection method is observational note-taking. The technique of analyzing the data used in this study is to use the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the research findings, there are five types of deixis in the Senyum Karyamin short story, namely person, place, time, discourse, and social. Through the identification of this deixis, learning to understand descriptive text will be easier to implement.

This research examines and discovers the variation and formation of slang in the street food court (angkringan) of the Perpek community, Ponorogo Regency, which is indicated by a variant of the slang language. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of words from languages that contain slang forms and are spoken by sellers and buyers. Data collection uses observation techniques supported by note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is the equivalent method and the method of religion. The findings of this research are four processes of the formation of slang language in terms of the formation of phonological structures, namely: (1) reversing the overall arrangement of letters, for example "mahal" to "laham", (2) giving an insert at the beginning and at the end both vowels and consonants, for example "kopi" becomes "ngikop", (3) exchanges consonants and replaces one or two letters, for example "sedikit" becomes "sikit", and (4) words are shortened or cut without changing their meanings, for example "mama cantik" to be "macan". The results of the research findings indicate the formation of new slang languages that are different from the original languages, both from Indonesian and regional languages (Javanese). Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menemukan variasi dan pembentukan bahasa slang di angkringan komunitas Perpek, Kabupaten Ponorogo, yang terindikasi ditemuakan varian bahasa slang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa kata dari bahasa yang mengandung bentuk bahasa slang dan dituturkan oleh penjual dan pembeli. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi yang didukung dengan teknik simak-libat-catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan dan metode agih. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh temuan berupa empat proses pembentukan variasi bahasa slang dari segi pembentukan struktur fonologis, yaitu: (1) membalikkan susunan huruf secara keseluruhan, misal "mahal" menjadi "laham", (2) memberikan sisipan di awal dan di akhir kata, baik vokal maupun konsonan, misal "kopi" menjadi "ngikop", (3) menukar konsonan dan mengganti satu atau dua huruf,  misal "sedikit" menjadi "sikit", dan (4) kata dipendekkan atau dipotong tanpa mengubah maknanya, misal "mama cantik" menjadi "macan". Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya pembentukan bahasa slang baru yang berbeda dari bahasa aslinya, baik dari bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa daerah (bahasa Jawa).

This study aims: (1) To find out the learning activities of Indonesian Language students in class V by applying the Snowball Throwing learning model. (2) To find out the improvement of Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of Kasongan Lama Elementary School-4 by asking the Snowball Throwing learning model. The type in this study used a variety of classroom action research (CAR). As for the subjects in this study were students of class V SDN-4 Kasongan Lama, amounting to 24 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and test questions about learning outcomes in the form of essays. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aspek kohesi gramatikal konjungsi dalan cerita pendek Titian Pelangi karya Helvy Tiana Rosa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif -deskriptif. Berdasarkan uraian hasil dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa wacana cerpen berjudul Titian Pelangi karya Helvy Tiana Rosa ini memiliki tingkat kohesi yang cukup baik ditinjau dari aspek gramatikal konjungsi. Dalam wacana cerpen ini ditemukan piranti kohesi gramatikal konjungsi sebanyak 158 buah yang terdiri atas: 1) hubungan penambahan; 2) hubungan peningkatan; 3) hubungan pertentangan; 4) hubungan waktu; 5) hubungan syarat; 6)hubungan tujuan; 7) hubungan kausal atau sebab akibat; 8) hubungan pemilihan; dan 9) hubungan memperlihatkan cara. Kata Kunci: kohesi gramatika, konjungsi, analisis wacana, cerita pendekABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the aspects of conjunction grammatical cohesions in the short story of “Titian Pelangi” by Helvy Tiana Rosa. The research method is qualitative analysis technique to characterize descriptive presentation of data obtained by the research. The result showed short story “Titian Pelangi” has a fairly good degree of cohesions in terms of grammatical conjunction cohesion. In this short story discourse, the number of conjection grammatical cohesions is as many as 158 pairs of sentences. Grammatical cohesions in the aspect of conjunctions include: 1) conjunction relation additions; 2) conjunction enchancement relationship; 3) conjunction relationship contradictions ; 4) time relationship conjunction; 5) terms relationship conjunction relationship terms ; 6) conjunction relationship goals; 7) conjunction of causality; 8) conjunction of election relations ;and 9) conjunctionrelationship way.

Penggunaan bahasa daerah dalam karya sastra tidak selalu mengganggu pemahaman pembaca atas suatu karya. Hal itu bergantung pada bagaimana pengarang mengeks-presikan bahasa daerah itu. Kenanga karya Oka Rusmini merupakan novel dwibahasa karena adanya penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah. Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah bagaimana dwibahasa itu digunakan pengarang akan dikaji. Tujuannya ialah mendiskripsikan dwibahasa yang digunakan dalam novel tersebut. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang akan dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis karya sastra dari aspek bahasa dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian ini ialah metode diskriptif, yaitu penelitian dilakukan atas dasar fakta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dwibahasa dalam Kenanga berkaitan dengan faktor nonkebahasaan. Faktor nonkebahsaan itu ialah kehidupan tokoh yang berkasta Brahmana dan yang berkasta Sudra, adat yang ada di Bali, dan agama Hindu yang dianut tokohnya. Faktor nonkebahasaan itu memengaruhi pengungkapan gagasan, pikiran, dan perasaan tokohnya. Untuk memudahkan pemaham atas penggunanan bahasa Bali, pengarang memberikan kata bahasa Indonesianya, baik di dekatnya maupun di catatan kaki. Dengan demikian, pembaca tidak mengalami banyak kesulitan untuk memahami novel Kenanga.The use of local language in literary is not an obstacle for readers to understand a piece of literary works. It depends on how the author expresses the local language into his work. Kenanga novel by Oka Rusmini is a bilingual novel because it uses Indonesian and local language. The research problem is how bilingualism is used by the author. The research aims to describe the bilingualism used in the novel. This research is a qualitative research. The approach used in the research is by analyzing language and society aspect of the novel. This research uses descriptive method, i.e. a research is carried out on the basis of facts. The results of this study indicate that bilingualism in Kenanga relating to non-linguistic factors. Non-linguistic factors are life of Brahmin and Sudra caste, custom of Bali, Hinduism adhered by the characters. Non-linguistics factors influence characters expression of ideas, thoughts, and feelings. To ease understanding of Balinese language, the author gives the Indonesian language word, either nearby the Balinese word or in footnotes. Therefore, readers do not find much difficulty in understanding Kenanga novel.

<p class="abstrak"><em>This research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The source of the data in this study is the sentences contained in the short story “The Origin of The Salak Tree”. This study has two objectives. First, to find out and illustrate the forms of phatic variations found in the short story of the Origin of the Salak Tree by Willy Yanto Wijaya. Secondly, to find out and illustrate the implications of the use of phatic variations in learning. There are also two results of this study. First, the variation of the phatic found in the story of the Origin of the Salak Tree by Willy Yanto Wijaya, there are three, namely the phatic particle, the word phatic, and the phrase phatic. Fatic particles contained in the story of the Origin of the Salak Tree by Willy Yanto Wijaya are nun, pun, right, tablets, oooh, tho, mah, really, you know, well, eiitss, yeah, yeah, wow, tuh, yeah, ceeerrppp, nan, and anyway. The word fatis contained in the story of the Origin of the Salak Tree by Willy Yanto Wijaya has come, yes, yes, and let's. The phatic phrase contained in the story of the Origin of the Salak Tree by Willy Yanto Wijaya is happy eating. Second, the implications of phatic in learning Bahasa Indonesia Curriculum 2013 can be applied to write short stories text.</em></p><p>Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data  dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat yang terdapat dalam cerpen “Asal Usul Pohon Salak”. Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan. <em>Pertama,</em>  untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan bentuk variasi fatis yang terdapat dalam cerpen Asal Usul Pohon Salak karya Willy Yanto Wijaya. <em>Kedua</em>, untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan implikasi dari penggunaan variasi fatis dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini juga ada dua. <em>Pertama</em>, variasi fatis yang terdapat dalam cerpen Asal-Usul Pohon Salak karya Willy Yanto Wijaya ada tiga, yaitu partikel fatis, kata fatis, dan frasa fatis. Partikel fatis yang terdapat dalam cerpen Asal-Usul Pohon Salak karya Willy Yanto Wijaya yaitu <em>nun, pun, kan, loh, deh, oooh, tho, mah, kok, lho, nah, eiitss, yaaah, lah, wah, tuh, iihh, ceeerrppp, nan, dan toh</em>.<em> </em>Kata fatis yang terdapat dalam cerpen Asal-Usul Pohon Salak karya Willy Yanto Wijaya yaitu <em>ayo, iya, ya,</em>  dan <em>yuk</em>. <em>F</em>rasa fatis yang terdapat dalam cerpen Asal-Usul Pohon Salak karya Willy Yanto Wijaya yaitu <em>selamat makan</em>. <em>Kedua</em>, implikasi fatis dalam pembelajaran dapat diaplikasikan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum 2013 yaitu menulis teks cerpen.</p>

Indonesian language (IN) is one of the obligatory lessons in Senior High  School. The learning of Indonesian language is pointed to the  increasing ability of students. This aim  to increase students’ ability to communicate in Indonesian language well and properly. The communication ability is expected especially in oral and written. Besides, students are hoped to  be  able  to  appreciate  literary works. The objective of this research is to identify and to describe the implementation of role play method in the efforts to increase the activity of Indonesian language  learning  in speaking aspects and to identify and to get  the description whether  the implementation of the method can increase process and result speaking aspect of Indonesian language learning of students class XI IPS 1, Semester 1, SMAN 3 Bengkalis. The method used was classroom action method and the subject was class XII IPS 1, semester 1, SMAN 3 Bengkalis. The collection of data and information were carried out by observation, journal and document study. The result of the research showed that (1) The implementation of of  role play method can increase  the activities of  speaking aspects  in   Indonesian  language learning. On the  1st cycle1, 1st meeting, the percentage of students’ activities was 73% with the good category (3,6), while on the second meeting, it was 82% with the very good category (3,7). On the first meeting of the second cycle, the percentage of students’ activities became 83% with the very good category (4,3), while on the second meeting was 96% with the  very good category (5,0), (2) The implementation of role play method is able to increase the result of speaking aspect in learning Indonesian language. On the first cycle, the students’ reserved effort was 73% while on the second cycle was 77%. Meanwhile, based on attachment 3, the classical completeness on cycle 1 reached 86%, on cycle 2,  it  increased 96%. Based on the result  of  the  research,  the  researcher proposed that it would be better for the Indonesian language  teachers to implement role play method for the materials  that  are  suitable  with . speaking aspects. The reason is that this method is proved to be able to increase the process and result of students  learning. When implementing  this method,  teachers are hoped to give guidance, motivation, and explanation that more focused so that students can learn optimally.Abstrak  Bahasa Indonesia (BI) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran wajib di SMA. Pembelajaran BI diarahkan  untuk  meningkatkan  kemampuan  peserta  didik.  Hal  ini  bertujuan  untuk meningkatkan  kemampuan  siswa  berkomunikasi  dalam  BI  dengan  baik  dan  benar. Kemampuan  berkomunikasi  yang  diharapkan  terutama  secara  lisan maupun  tulisan.  Selain itu,  siswa  diharapkan  juga  sanggup mengapresiasi  hasil  karya  sastra.  Tujuan  penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan metode bermain peran dalam upaya meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran BI aspek berbicara dan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan  apakah  penerapan metode  bermain  peran  dapat meningkatkan  proses dan  hasil  pembelajaran  BI  aspek  berbicara  siswa  kelas  XI  IPS  1,  Semester  1,  SMAN  3 Bengkalis. Metode  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  tindakan  kelas  dengan  subjek  penelitian siswa  kelas  XII  IPS  1,  semester  1,  SMAN  3  Bengkalis.  Pengumpulan  data  dan  informasi dilakukan melalui observasi/pengamatan,  jurnal, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian, yaitu  (1)  Penerapan  metode  bermain  peran  dapat  meningkatkan  aktivitas  pembelajaran  Bahasa Indonesia aspek berbicara pada  siswa kelas XI  IPS  1, Semester  1, SMAN  3 Bengkalis T.P. 2013/2014.  Pada  siklus  1  pertemuan  1,  persentase  aktivitas  belajar  siswa  adalah  73  persen dengan kategori  baik  (3,6),  sedangkan pertemuan  2  sebesar 82 persen dengan kategori  baik (3,7). Pada siklus 2 pertemuan 1, persentase aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi 83 persen dengan kategori sangat baik (4,3), sedangkan pertemuan 2 sebesar 96 persen dengan kategori sangat baik  (5,0);  (2)  Penerapan  metode  bermain  peran  dapat  meningkatkan  hasil  pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia aspek berbicara siswa kelas XI IPS 1, Semester 1, SMAN 3 Bengkalis T.P 2013/2014. Pada siklus 1, daya serap siswa sebesar 73 persen, sedangkan siklus 2 sebesar 77 persen. Sementara itu, berdasarkan Lampiran 3, ketuntasan klasikal pada  siklus  1 mencapai 86  persen,  sedangkan pada siklus 2 meningkat  menjadi  96  persen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menyarankan agar guru mata pelajaran, khususnya Bahasa Indonesia sebaiknya menerapkan metode bermain  peran untuk materi yang sesuai dengan aspek berbicara. Alasannya, metode ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Ketika menerapkan metode bermain peran untuk aspek  berbicara, guru dituntut memberikan bimbingan, motivasi, dan penjelasan yang  lebih  terfokus agar siswa dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan maksimal.

Reading interest is one of the important keys for someone to gain knowledge and information. So by reading, students can get the knowledge that has been provided. The more often a student reads, the broader his knowledge and insight will be. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the 15 Minute Literacy Movement in Fostering Reading Interest in Class 4 Autistic Students in Indonesian Language Subjects in Narrative Story Text Material at TNCC Banda Aceh Special School. This research is a qualitative research, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews and studies. documentation. The subjects in this study were students of class IV Autism at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh, which consisted of two people, and the data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively with stages including: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation. (3) Triangulation, and (4) Verification / Conclusion Withdrawal. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Literacy Movement 15 minutes before the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) is very effective in cultivating students’ reading interest in autism in class 4. This can be seen from the results of completeness of the indicators of the effectiveness of reading interest, with 15 minutes of Literacy activities for autistic students there are significant changes. in recognizing letters and students’ reading interest increases.

Sastra Peranakan Tionghoa adalah karya sastra dalam bahasa Indonesia yang dihasilkan oleh orang Tionghoa yang dilahirkan di Indonesia. Seusai Perang Dunia II, sastra peranakan tetap berkembang. Bentuknya bukan lagi novel tetapi cerpen. Namun, berbeda dengan keadaan sebelum Perang Dunia II, pada zaman Pasca-Perang itu tidak lagi terdapat majalah seperti Tjerita Romans atau Penghidoepan. Kebanyakan karya dimuat dalam majalah-majalah umum atau berita, seperti Star Weekly, Liberal, dan Pantjawarna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat kontribusi majalah Star Weekly, Pantjawarna, dan Liberal pada tahun 1950-an terhadap publikasi karya penulis Tionghoa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerpen dalam majalah Star Weekly, Liberal, dan Pantjawarna menggambarkan religiositas masyarakat Tionghoa dalam menjalani kehidupan yang multikultural di Indonesia. Konsep kemanusiaan dalam ajaran Konghucu erat kaitannya dengan konsep Tepa Sarira dalam kebudayaan Jawa. Chinese Literature is literary works in Indonesian produced by Chinese people who were born in Indonesia. After World War II, peranakan literature continued to flourish. The form is no longer a novel but a short story. However, in contrast to the situation before World War II, the Post-War era there were no magazines anymore, such as Tjerita Romans or Penghidoepan. Most of his work is published in public magazines or news, such as Star Weekly, Liberal, and Pantja Warna. The purpose of this study is to look at the contributions of Star Weekly, Pantja Warna and Liberal magazines in the 1950s to the publication of works by Chinese writers. The method used is qualitative and descriptive methods. The results showed that short stories in Star Weekly, Liberal, and Pantjawarna, magazines illustrate the religiosity of the Chinese community in leading a multicultural life in Indonesia. The concept of humanity in Confucianism is closely related to the concept of Tepa Sarira in Javanese culture.

This article examines the referential meaning of children's names in SMA N 1 Karanggede grade X MIPA 1. This article aims to (1) find the referential meaning of the child's name (2) explains the content of the referential meaning of the child's name (3) describes the utilization of the referential meaning of the child's name as teaching material Indonesian language learning class VIII junior high school. The data in this study are referential meanings of children's names. Sources of data came from parents and students in SMA N 1 Karanggede, especially in class X MIPA 1. Data collection techniques used interviews and questionnaires. The validity used is source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the referential equivalent method. The results of this study are, First, the referential meaning of the child's name refers to objects (23names) and properties (13names). Second, the meaning of the name of the child based on the giver's name refers to: prayer or hope (21), time of birth (7), order of birth (2), inspiration (6). Third, the use of referential meanings of children's names in Indonesian language learning in VIII grade of SMP is related to basic competencies 4.1 Concludes the content of the news (boast and motivate what is read and heard). The material used is news text taken from the name giving of children in SMA N 1 Karanggede which motivates.

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitin ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran webbed dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III-C SD Negeri Beroanging Kota Makassar; (2) mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran webbed dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III-C SD Negeri Beroanging Kota Makassar, khususnya membaca. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian PTK, yang meliputi: perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran webbed dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas   III-C SD Negeri Beroanging Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh respon siswa yang pada umumnya menyatakan respon yang positif (setuju dan sangat setuju) terhadap 10 butir pertanyaan/pernyataan angket, serta tidak ada satu pun respon siswa yang menyatakan respon negatif (tidak setuju dan sangat tidak setuju) terhadap pertanyaan/pernyataan angket tersebut yang berkaitan dengan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa; dan (2) penerapan model pembelajaran webbed dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas   III-C SD Negeri Beroanging Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia, khususnya membaca. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yakni perolehan nilai hasil belajar baru mencapai 55 % yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar berdasarkan KKM, kemudian mengalami peningkatan nilai menjadi 100 % pada siklus II. The objectives that will be achieved in this research are: (1) to describe the application of the webbed learning model that can improve the motivation and activities in learning Indonesian language for the grade III-C students at SD Negeri Beroanging Makassar City; (2) to describe the application of the webbed learning model that can improve the  Indonesian language learning outcomes of the grade III-C students at SD Negeri Beroanging Makassar City, especially in reading. The type of this research was classroom action research (CAR). Classroom action research (CAR) includes: planning action, action implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The results of this research concludes that: (1) the application of the webbed learning model in Indonesian language learning at the grade III-C students at SD Negeri Beroanging, Tallo District, Makassar City can improve students’ motivation and Indonesian language learning activities. This can be seen from the students' responses which generally stated positive responses (agree and strongly agree) to the 10 questions/questionnaire statements, and none of the students' responses expressed negative responses (disagree and strongly disagree) to the questions/statements. The questionnaire was related to the students' motivation and learning activities; and (2) the application of the webbed learning model in learning Indonesian language at the grade III-C students at SD Negeri Beroanging, Tallo District, Makassar City can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes, especially reading. This can be seen from the improvement of students' learning outcomes in the first cycle, namely the acquisition of new learning outcomes reaching 55% which achieved learning mastery based on the KKM, then it improved the value to 100% in the second cycle.
