The objectives in this study are 1) Describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in mathematics learning, 2) Formulate what factors support and hinder the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This study is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The study subjects were mathematics teachers who taught in class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 in Tangerang City. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observation, documentation. Technical data analysis is done by reducing, presenting data, and verification. The results showed that the X grade mathematics teacher in implementing the 2013 curriculum was still lacking. This can be seen by teachers not compiling RPPs based on the 2013 curriculum. As a result, the learning process is not in accordance with the demands according to 2013 curriculum references. Factors that prevent teachers from implementing the 2013 curriculum are teachers who have not attended 2013 curriculum training, teachers have not joined and are taking part in routine activities in the city high school MGMP routine Tangerang, schools have not facilitated 2013 curriculum training activities and the lack of existing infrastructure in the school environment to support the implementation of the 2013 curriculum

The background of this research was a phenomenon in the educational process where the teaching materials used were not optimal, so a development was needed. In this case, the teaching materials were Students Worksheets (LKS) used at SDN 01 Rejang Lebong and they only contained questions and exercises, without being equipped with the presentation of teaching material, character values and illustrative examples. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of illustrative Student Worksheets (LKS) containing character education in mathematics learning for grade 1 in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was a type of development research with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). This research was conducted at SDN 01 Rejang Lebong. The subjects of this study were 16 students of class 1A. Data collection techniques in this study were: (1) observation, (2) interview, and (3) questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive analysis with validation tests from 2 material experts and 1 media expert. The result of this research was the development of illustrative student worksheets (LKS) with character education in mathematics learning in grade 1 SDN 01 Rejang Lebong which produces a pre-content section with a main title page (cover), an identity page, an introduction, and a table of contents. The content section contains mathematics learning material on whole numbers. The closing section of the content contains a bibliography and author profile, with a total of 20 pages using A4 paper for the contents of Student Worksheets (LKS). The results of the feasibility assessment by material experts get an average score with a score of 4.15 which is in the right category. As well as the average number of scores with 4.2 from the media design experts getting an average number of scores with an average score in the right category.

Do students’ emotions and behaviours influence their learning in mathematics classes, and if yes, how and why? Based on a qualitative research design, evidence on how the use of Electronic Voting Systems (EVS) has influenced students’ emotional and behavioural engagement with university mathematics learning is presented. The results show that the use of EVS enables students to diagnose their level of understanding of learning material, relative to the rest of the class. EVS use also helps, in real time, to stimulate, maintain, and re-focus student attention during mathematics instruction. A favourable perception of the learning environment as being altruistic appears to have influenced students to emotionally identify and align themselves with mathematics learning goals. There is enhanced interactivity in EVS-facilitated lectures, including positive student competitiveness, while the EVS anonymity utility also enhances increased student participation rates. However, a major disincentive to student engagement is the use of EVS-based mathematics questions with low cognitive demand. This research is a contribution to how specific educational technology-based interventions influence student engagement. Key words: emotional/behavioural engagement, digital natives, EVS/Clickers, engineering mathematics.

The purpose of this writing is to make students more active, discipline able to work together, in the learning process and also can improve learning creativity. The learning process in Indonesia is currently too monotonous and runs as it is without focusing on learning. So, this problem must be taken seriously, especially by the teacher. Therefore, the teacher must be able to inspire students to be actively involved in the learning process. The selection and determination of learning strategies that are most appropriate to the characteristics of students will certainly produce the desired learning goals. To make it happen, a merger of Collaborative Learning Mathematical Learning Model with Task and Forced Learning Strategy is combined. Collaborative Learning is a Learning Model that forms groups that makes it easier for teachers and students to complete learning material. Task and Forced Learning Strategies are strategies that focus on giving assignments and a little coercion so that students complete their tasks on time so that the learning process can run effectively. By modifying the Collaborative Learning Mathematics Learning Model with Task Learning Strategies and Forces students will motivate students that learning is the responsibility, all students will be more active, creative, and disciplined in learning, making students not delay work or assignments given, and will make group work becomes solid. To apply the Collaborative Learning Mathematics Learning Model with Task and Forced Learning Strategies teachers should have better and more mature planning. The teacher should master and understand the rules in the Collaborative Learning Mathematical Learning Model with Task and Forced Learning Strategies, and the teacher must always motivate students to be more active in learning.

Ethnomathematics is mathematics that is developed and applied by certain cultural groups by local culture by considering other knowledge, one of the cultures that developed in Ngawi is Batik. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the ethnomathematics of Ngawi batik in UMKM Widi Nugraha and a description of the use of ethnomathematics in Ngawi's typical batik in mathematics learning. To achieve these objectives, researchers used qualitative research methods with ethnographic methods. The results show that Ngawi batik has several philosophical values, namely the history of the name Ngawi which is reflected in Ancient Human batik with a combination of bamboo motifs, preservation in the discovery of ancient fossils stored in the Trinil museum reflected in the batik motifs of Early Man and Batik Kawung Gading, as well as there are flora and fauna found in Ngawi such as, Srigati Series batik and, Teh Jamus batik. In terms of the use of ethnomathematics, namely as a source of information on the batik tradition of the Ngawi community and can be used as a reference in designing realistic mathematics learning in schools. This learning material is in the form of material on symmetry, transformation, and congruence
