The author uses experimental research methods because the author will look for the effect of treatment (treatment) particular. The type of experiment used is Quasy Experimental Design, which has a control group but is not fully functional to control the outside variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. This research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung consisting of 2 classes namely experimental class (VII E) applied Somatis Approach, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) based on brain gym to cognitive learning result and control class (VII A) Using learning methods of lectures and frequently asked questions. Data collection techniques are test (pretest and posttest), and documentation. There is a significant influence of Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) -based Brain Gym approach to cognitive learning outcomes in science learning especially in students of SMPN 13 Bandar Lampung. The achievement of improved cognitive learning outcomes can be seen from the pretest and posttest values, in the pretest grade control classes 63.75 and posttest 70.63 and the pretest average pretest grade of 69.06 and the posttest 77.03.

TGT cooperative type learning, as a game-based learning methodology, provides opportunities for students to develop skills in group interactions in small groups and work together with others. The world of learning today needs phenomena like this. This study aimed to determine the effect of the TGT cooperative type learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes on the topic of relay running. This quantitative study was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The samples involved were 70 students from two different experimental and control classes. The data collection instrument in this study was 10 essay test questions validated and tested. The results showed an effect of the TGT cooperative type learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The achievement test score for the TGT group was 81.67, while the control group was 75.75. It implies that the TGT group performed superior in cognitive learning outcomes when compared to the control group. Thus, it is concluded that the TGT cooperative type learning model can be recommended in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on the concept of relay running.

ABSTRACT The process of learning chemistry which only focused on teacher as informant caused the students’ memory lower. This could make the students’ learning outcomes lower, thus, it was needed STAD type of Cooperative Learning Method which had the process of interaction between student and teacher, and could help the students comprehend the material. Therefore, it was necessary to make a research which had the purpose to know the difference between students’ learning outcomes and memory which used STAD type ofCooperative Learning Method and lectures teaching method as well as how large the effect of STAD type of Cooperative Learning Method on salt hydrolysis material was. This research was Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of the research was choosen by using saturated sampling which XI IPA 1 as experimental class and XI IPA 2 as control class. The techniques of data collection used measurement technique, observation, and interview while the tools of data collection used tests such as essayquestion, observation sheet, and interview guide. The statistical analysis of posttest result using U-man whitney test obtained significant value 0.000. This value was smaller than α (0.005) which meant that there was difference in learning outcome between experimental and control class. The statistical analysis result of U-man whitney delayed test obtained significant value 0.006, this value was smaller than α (0.005) which meant that there was difference between students’ memory in experimental and control class. The calculation of effect size showed value 1.64 with high criteria which gave high effect on students’ learning outcomes which was 44.95%, while the calculation of students’ memory effect size showed value 0.69 with moderate criteria which gave effect on students’ memory which was 26,42%. Learning results are influenced by 2 factors; internal and external factors. Method of learning is one of external factors. This study aimed to determine the effect of Hypnoteaching method toward application the cognitive learning outcomes on Nervous System Topic at SMAN 97 Jakarta. The research was conducted in the second semester of Academic Year 2014/2015. The method was a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. A total sample of 74 students of class XI MIA was selected by simple random sampling technique. This research used a cognitive learning. Test instrument data was analized by analysis of variance of the path of non-parametric Kruskal Wallis. The result showed a significance value 0.07> 0.05 so that it was conclude that Hypnoteaching method had no effect on students cognitive learning outcomes Nervous System Topic.

The objectives of this research are to: 1) determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on cognitive learning outcomes; and 2) to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on students' scientific literacy. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The research design of pre-test-post-test non equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMPN 1 Tanjung North Lombok Regency in the academic year 2017/2018 which consisted of 6 classes. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, in order to obtain class VII 3 as the experimental class and class VII 1 as the control class. The instruments used to collect data were multiple choice questions totaling 20 items to measure student cognitive learning outcomes and essay questions to measure content and the scientific context. Meanwhile, worksheets are used to measure the scientific process. The data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA with a significance level of 0.05% using SPSS 16 for Windows. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on cognitive learning outcomes (p <0.05); and 2) there is an effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on students' scientific literacy (p <0.05).

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of membrane transport learning which contains ethnoscience for cognitive learning outcomes and entrepreneurial interests in SMAN 1 Kendal students. The instrument of data collection are question and questionnaire. The results are average pretest score of experiment class is 49,67 and posttest score is 83,50. Besides, control class have 52,17 and 72,33 as average pretest score and posttest score respectively. Both class are classified to medium category based on N-gain value (the value of experiment class is 0,67 and 0,44 for control class). Those class have significant difference result of t test both in posttest score and entrepreneurial interest (p <0,05). The conclusion of this research is that the ethnoscience of salted egg production in membrane transport learning is significantly effective (p <0,05) for cognitive learning outcomes and entrepreneurial interest of SMA N 1 Kendal students. Key words: cognitive learning outcomes, entrepreneurial interest, ethnosains,  salted egg  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran transport membran bermuatan etnosains terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan minat berwirausaha siswa SMA. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan butir soal, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen 49,67 dan nilai posttest sebesar 83,50;  pada kelas kontrol rata-rata pretest sebesar 52, 17 dan nilai posttest sebesar 72,33;  N-gain kelas eskperimen maupun kelas kontrol pada kategori sedang, demikian juga pada kelas kontrol (nilai N gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,67, kelas kontrol sebesar 0,44); uji t pretest posttest kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol menunjukkan berbeda secara signifikan (p<0,05); uji t posttest kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol menunjukkan berbeda secara signifikan (p<0,05); minat berwirausaha kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol menunjukkan berbeda secara signifikan (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah  bahwa etnosains produksi telur asin dalam pembelajaran transport membran efektif secara signifikan (p<0,05) terhadap  hasil belajar kognitif dan minat berwirausaha siswa. Kata kunci : hasil belajar kognitif, minat wira usaha, etnosains, telur asin

Abstract: This research aims to find out how the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model and the Jigsaw learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes in labor issues material in Indonesia. The independent variable of this study is “Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) and Jigsaw learning model”, while the dependent variable is “Learning Outcomes”. The research approach used in this research was a quantitative approach. The form of research used in this study was an experiment form with Two Group Pretest Posttest research design. The population in this research were all students of class IX IPS consisting of four classes namely class IX IPS 1, IX IPS 2, IX IPS 3, and IX IPS 4 with the total number of students were 134. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection tools used were test questions, observation sheets and documentation. The results showed that There were no significant differences in cognitive learning outcomes between students who used the two stay two stray learning model and the jigsaw learning model with the results of Z_ (count) of 1.72 and Z_ (table) at a significant level of 0.05 were 1.96. Keywords: TSTS Learning Model and Jigsaw, Learning Outcome Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana penerapan model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi permasalahan ketenagakerjaan di indonesia. Variabel bebas penelitian ini adalah “model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dan model pembelajaran Jigsaw”, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah “Hasil Belajar”. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Two Group Pretest Posttest Designs. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX IPS yang terdiri dari empat kelas yaitu kelas IX IPS 1, IX IPS 2, IX IPS 3, dan IX IPS 4 dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa yaitu 134. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran two stay two stray dengan model pembelajaran jigsaw dengan hasil  sebesar 1,72 dan  pada taraf signifikan 0,05 sebesar 1,96. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran TSTS dan  Jigsaw, Hasil belajar

The method of role playing in learning is a teaching and learning process in which students themselves are mentally active, building their knowledge, which is based on the cognitive structure they have. The teacher has a more role as a facilitator and mediator of learning. This study aims to determine the effect of role playing methods on cognitive learning outcomes in terms of student learning activities. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The research design used a "post-test only control group design" which involved two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency. While the research sample was 39 students of class X MIA at the MA. Student learning outcomes were measured using a test in the form of multiple choice questions, and student learning activities were obtained using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the role playing method has an effect on student cognitive learning outcomes, because the significance value is 0.046 <0.05. The student learning activity factor for the cognitive domain obtained a significance value of 0.030 <0.05. The data shows that, student learning activities affect student cognitive learning outcomes. The interaction of the role palying method with student learning activities for the cognitive domain obtained a significance value of 0.227 <0.05, so this data shows that there is an interaction between the role playing method and student learning activities on student cognitive learning outcomes.

This research aims at proving that the use of using Skimming and Scanning techniques are effective in improving reading comprehension of grade-eleven students of SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja. The method used in this research was true-experimental design random assignment pretest-posttest control group. The samples of this research were selected from the population of grade-eleven students of SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja by using random sampling technique. The instruments of data collection were observation checklist, questionnaire items and tests. The data were analyzed by using t-test statistical and descriptive methods. Based on the analysis, the result score of experimental class is 80.27 and control class is 67.02. By applying level of significance 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) 48, the t-counted value (4.3) is greater than t-table value (2013). Furthermore, based on the result of effectiveness indicators showed the score is 83% it means that the techniques are effective. In other words, applying skimming and scanning techniques are effective in improving students reading comprehension of the grade eleven students of SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja. Local wisdom-based science learning modules are one of the science learning models that are oriented to the integration of the values of community local wisdom into science learning material. The aim of the study was to develop a science learning module based on the local wisdom of Sembalun Village to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research is a development research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research instruments included local wisdom observation sheets, expert validation sheets, learning comprehension observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used is local wisdom observation techniques, validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that the interview results obtained a total score of 62% with good categories. The modules that have been developed are then validated by 2 expert lecturers, with an average score of 3.70 with valid / non-revised categories. Implementation of learning (RPP) with an overall average score of 89.9% with a very good category. Cognitive learning outcomes of students in the small scale readability test with the N-Gain value of 0.36 with the medium category. Response of students with an overall average score of 3.47 in the good category. The results of the study can be concluded that the local wisdom based science learning module can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of VII class Mts Al-Banun students.

The purpose of this study is to describe the grant of science based learning media Kinect to support the improvement of students’ learning outcomes from cognitive aspect. This research is an educational development research which is adapted from the development model according to Borg Gall. The research was conducted in four main stages, that are (1) needs analysis, (2) instructional design, (3) media development, (4) validation. Instruments used in this research are assessment sheets by validator, student response questionnaires, pretests, and post test. After being validated, the media was tested to ten students, so that the results obtained of student responses and the effectiveness of improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The result of the development is Kinect-based science learning media. From the results of research and development stage as well as experiments that have been done can be concluded that the product can improved student learning outcomes in cognitive aspect
