Sports have value to the individual, and the atypical individual with a disability merits the same opportunity to pursue these values as the so-called able-bodied. Sports therefore are justified on the assumption that they serve as a medium for developing desirable attitudes and behavior that contribute to the fullest utilization of one’s own health. Today’s sport leaders see a two-prong approach to the organization of these opportunities: (a) down with the barriers that keep the atypical athlete from participating and competing with the able-bodied athletes when talent and commitment are equal to the challenge, and (b) up with the sport programs from which, were it not for these adaptations, those with disabilities could not benefit from the values of sport participation.

In the coming decades, no natural resource may prove to be more critical to human health and well-being than water. There is abundant evidence that the condition of water resources in many parts of the United States is deteriorating. In some regions of the country, the availability of sufficient water to meet growing domestic uses, and the future sufficiency of water to support the use of landscape plants where we live, work, and play is in doubt. Conservation through water efficiency measures and water management practices may be the best way to help resolve water problems. Yet, consumer perceptions and attitudes and behavior toward water conservation may differ widely, particularly in the presence of drought. This study sought to add to the current horticulture and water conservation literature by exploring consumer attitudes and behavior during real and perceived drought situations, especially in terms of their landscape purchases and gardening/landscaping activities. Study findings could better inform educational programs and marketing strategies, helping to ensure the future demand of Green Industry products and services. With a national sample of 1543 subjects, an online survey tool was used to classify respondents into categories based on whether they accurately perceived if the region in which they lived was experiencing drought. We hypothesized that consumers were heterogeneous in their attitudes and behavior regarding plants and water conservation, depending on their real and perceived drought situations, and that their attitudes affected their behavior regarding plant purchases. Results confirmed this hypothesis. Attitudes and behaviors for those who correctly perceived they were in drought were different from those who correctly perceived they were not in drought, as well as those who incorrectly did not perceive they were in an actual drought.

The purpose of this study is to obtain a formula for Islamic Education in the perspective of al quran. The results of the study found that Character in an Islamic perspective is nothing but morality. Noble character is the fruit that results from the process of applying sharia (worship and muamalah) which is based on a solid foundation of aqeedah. Like a building, character or morals are the perfection of the building after the foundation and the building are strong. It is impossible for a character or noble character to manifest in someone if he does not have the right aqeedah and sharia. A Muslim who has true aqeedah or faith will surely manifest in attitudes and behaviors in daily life based on his faith. For example, people who have good and true faith in Allah SWT, he will always obey and carry out all His commands and stay away from all His prohibitions. He will always do good and stay away from things that are prohibited (bad). Faith is not only to Allah SWT, but also to angels, books, Apostles and so on will make their attitudes and behavior directed and controlled, so that they will manifest noble character or character. The same thing happened in the case of sharia implementation. All Islamic sharia provisions lead to the realization of noble character or character

Kata Kunci : Pengawasan, Hakim Konstitusi, Amandemen UUD 1945AbstractThe role of constitutional justices to uphold justice is very strategic, therefore judges who havegood attitudes and behavior are needed. Thus, constitutional judges also need to supervise theirbehavior in order to maintain the dignity of judicial institutions. The problem is what efforts canbe made so that external supervision of the code of ethics and behavior of constitutional justicesis carried out by the Judicial Commission. External supervision of constitutional judges at thistime has not yet been regulated, so that in the future it needs to be done because professionallyconstitutional justices are the same as other judges. The Judicial Commission as a stateinstitution as a result of reforms and given the authority of the 1945 Constitution to maintainand uphold the honor, nobility and behavior of judges should be given the authority to conductexternal supervision of the behavior of constitutional justices. However, the supervision ofconstitutional justices should not intervene in the independence of the judiciary so that anappropriate formulation is needed to synergize between supervision and judicial independence.Since Article 24B paragraph (1) related to the word "judge" was interpreted by the Constitutional Court not including constitutional justices (Decision of the Constitutional Court No. 005 / PUU-IV / 2006 and No.1-2 / PUU-XII / 2014, then in the future so that Constitutional judges can be supervised by the Judicial Commission, amendments to Article 24B paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution are needed in connection with the word "judge".Keywords: Supervision, Constitutional Justice, Amendment to the 1945 Constitution

This research applies the binding communication model to the sustainable communication strategies implemented in most hotels. The binding communication model links a persuasive message with the implementation of a low-cost commitment to strengthen the link between the attitudes and behavior of those receiving the message. We compared the effectiveness of a classical communication strategy (n = 86) with that of a binding communication strategy (n = 101) to encourage guests to choose sustainable behavior. Our results show that using the binding communication strategy generates significantly more sustainable behavior in guests than using the classical communication strategy. We discuss our results and suggest future avenues of research.

Abstract. The core aim of the present study is to compare the effects of a safety campaign and a behavior modification program on traffic safety. As is the case in community-based health promotion, the present study's approach of the attitude campaign was based on active participation of the group of recipients. One of the reasons why many attitude campaigns conducted previously have failed may be that they have been society-based public health programs. Both the interventions were carried out simultaneously among students aged 18-19 years in two Norwegian high schools (n = 342). At the first high school the intervention was behavior modification, at the second school a community-based attitude campaign was carried out. Baseline and posttest data on attitudes toward traffic safety and self-reported risk behavior were collected. The results showed that there was a significant total effect of the interventions although the effect depended on the type of intervention. There were significant differences in attitude and behavior only in the sample where the attitude campaign was carried out and no significant changes were found in the group of recipients of behavior modification.
