Physical education is a systemic mastering of rational ways of controlling his movements by a person, thus acquiring a fund of motor abilities, skills and knowledge related to them, necessary in life. Purposeful management of the progressive development of strength, speed, endurance and other physical qualities affects the complex of natural properties of the body and thereby determines the quantitative and qualitative changes in its functional capabilities. A distinctive feature of physical education is that it provides a systematic formation of motor skills and directed development of physical qualities of a person, totality of which determi¬nes his physical capacity to a decisive extent. In the creative heritage of Azerbaijani educators of the second half of the XIX – early XX century, labor education is one of the main directions. They explained to the general public that the prosperity of both the individual and society as a whole is closely linked to hard work and diligence. They also tried to raise awareness of ways to organize work more efficiently and effectively.

This paper examines the dynamics of changes in the indicators of the psychophysiological state of students of the Siberian State University of Railway Transport. The indicators of motor activity, vital index (ZHI) and respiratory system were considered. The purpose of the study is to identify the physical and functional capabilities of the body of first-year students, as well as to analyze the level of health. The objectives of the study are to determine the level of psychophysiological state of students in dynamics. Research hypothesis: the source of physical education should be on motor activity that is appropriate for development, in order to promote self-efficacy and pleasure, as well as encourage continuous participation in physical activity; through the acquisition of motivational experience by students in physical education and sports, physical and functional development is achieved, as well as self-esteem, goal orientation and tasks; the effectiveness of physical development can be achieved by changing the approaches to the implementation of FC programs, sports facilities, recruitment, as well as the organization of school-university continuity. Research methods: analysis, systematization, generalization. The results of the research showed a decrease in physical fitness and activity in general, as well as the need to develop motor abilities and improve the level of physical health of students.

Physical Education as a subject – much like other subjects – has its own literary and educational content and the primary goal is the transference of that knowledge. In this respect, it is but one subject. At the same time it is unique, being the only subject dedicated to improving the body and the physique, yet “when we talk about the internal values of physical education, we only refer to its own literary and educational content. The meaning of this phrase includes the system of movement-based activities as well as the related intellectual knowledge” (RÉTSÁGI, 2011). During a Physical Education lesson students learn and practice movement-based activities, the importance of which is to improve their motor abilities, physical fitness (MÜLLER et al., 2013. MÜLLER et al., 2017) and mental health (BORBÉLY – MÜLLER, 2008). It may facilitate the prevention of numerous deformities or ailments, thus contributing to the preserving and of one’s health (MOSONYI et al., 2013., MÜLLER, 2015). For the past few years, multinational food companies (e.g. Danone and Nestlé) have also realized this, as they began to promote various programmes to support the regular physical activities of schoolchildren (RÁTHONYI – ODOR – RÁTHONYI, 2016). Physical Education in schools can only be considered effective if students come to appreciate and begin to feel the need for regular physical activities. For that purpose PE lessons are needed to be filled with content that is serious, requires effort (i.e. it should be a challenge that inspires improvement), but at the same time, it provides every student with feelings of success and enjoyment. This work, which at many times adapts to vastly different students (i.e. differentiates), is the duty of sports specialists and PE teachers (H. EKLER, 2013).

For modern physical education of students is characterized by significant psychological stress. Teachers and psychologists need to prepare students not only in psychological and physical condition, but also to help confront many factors that arise during the learning process in various situations that cause inconsistencies in the functions of the body and its nervous system. The accumulated evidence testifies to the close relationship between the spiritual and physical state of man, as well as the ability to use special physical techniques and self-suggestion to influence the mental and physiological functions of the body. Many authors in various fields have studied the methods of using physical education to improve the psychological and pedagogical foundations of physical education of students and their professional training as a specialist [1.3] Effective means of improving the psychological and pedagogical foundations of physical education and the formation of students' individual physical culture are appropriate norms, which are based on modern principles of physical education [4]. One of the main is the principle of priority of needs, motives and interests of the individual, which involves building a system of physical education in general and individual programs taking into account individual and group, social and spiritual needs of people, as well as forming and understanding the concept of "individual physical culture" on physical education and motivation to engage in physical culture.

The pupose of the research is to define the peculiarities of motor abilities development in children of middle-school age.Research methods: theoretical analysis and collation of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. To determine the effectiveness of realization of the developmental task of the physical education process at the beginning of the school year (in October 2014) and in March 2015, we tested the level of development of physical qualities in the 7th- and 8th-graders, 25 and 25 graders respectively, 13 of which in each class were boys and 12 — girls.Research results. The analysis of the materials shows that during the school year, the boys of the 7th grade showed reliably increased performance in standing long jumps (speed and strength qualities) — 1.97%, raising the body from the lying position (strength) — 26.46%, bent suspension (strength) — 13.45%. The indicators have insignificantly (unreliably) increased in the shuttle run 3×10 m (agility) — 6.09%, and in body bending from the sitting position (flexibility) — 6.25%. The girls showed reliably increased performance in the level of readiness: flexibility — 12%, strength — 12.09%, speed-strength qualities — 5.27%, agility — 7.77%.The analysis of the materials shows that during the school year the 8th-graders (boys) reliably increased their physical readiness in speed-strength qualities — 0.8%, strength — 15.7%. The indicators of agility increased unreliably — 2.7%, as well as those of flexibility — 8%. The 8th‑graders (girls) reliably improved their indicators in standing long jumps — 2.1%, in bent suspension — 18.8%, raising the body from the lying position in 30 seconds — 17.4%, body bending from the sitting position — 12 5%. The indicators agility improved unreliably — 3.4%.Conclusions. The data obtained are important in solving the pedagogical problems of schoolers’ physical education as decisions of the matters of principle in organization and methods used in physical training classes rest on the ideas about the regularities of the age-related development and the effects of physical exercises.

Purpose of the study: The purpose of the study is to identify changes in school-based anxiety in children aged 12 – 13 during their physical education using a special Program for the individual typological approach implementation. Methodology: Two groups had been formed: reference and experimental (25 people each); three methods were used (Method for studying individual typological peculiarities of middle-school children by A. Belov, Method of Kondash's anxiety scale (1973), and Method of identifying general physical education of students); diagnostic testing of physical fitness was conducted (long jump from the spot; lifting the body in 30 sec. (press); push-up (girls); pulling up on the crossbar (boys); running 30 meters, shuttle running 3x10; bending forward from a sitting position). Main Findings: The results of the study have been statistically processed with Excel 2000 and STATISTICA 8.0, using the Student's t-test for dependent and independent samples. The M average has been found; the differences have been considered significant at p < 0.05. Applications of this study: The Program for the individual typological approach implementation has been compiled with an emphasis on reducing school-based anxiety in children aged 12 – 13; its features, objectives, indicators, criteria, content, and forms of implementation have been substantiated; a set of general physical exercises has been developed for each type of temperament, which includes the exercises for some groups of muscles of the upper shoulder girdle, back muscles, abdomen, and hips. Novelty/Originality of this study: The significant improvement in the physical fitness of students from the experimental group compared to the reference one identified during the term proves the efficiency of the implemented physical education program, taking into account the individual typological approach to the personality of adolescents with an emphasis on reducing their school-based anxiety. The results of the study have allowed formulating recommendations for improving the approaches to conducting physical education classes.
