This  research purposes describing student’s self concept of Dayak ethnic of  West Borneo. The used instrument to identify concept of student self of Dayak ethnic is self’s concept scale that has been valid. This research subjects are 108 dayak students of threesenior high schools. The conducted research procedure is utilizing quantitative research - survey cross-sectional. Sample decision is chosen by convening sampling, that is chosen sample with ease consideration. The data analysis which resorted is percentage. Based on result of research finding, generally, describing student’s self-concept of Dayak ethnic is in very high category, includes perceptual aspect(physical self-concept),conceptual (psychologicalself-concept),and attitudinal. To summarize this research, students of dayak ethnic have very high category of self concept, however, if it is compared with five other ethnic at Pontianak, student’s self concept of Dayak ethnic of  West Borneo hold the worst result. Key words: Concept of Self, Dayak Ethnic Students.

AIM: This research aimed to analyse the relationship between CYP2A6 gene polymorphism with nicotine dependence and its relation to the number of cigarette consumption among Bataknese smokers.METHOD: This study was a cross-sectional study involving 140 research subjects in Medan, Indonesia.RESULTS: Nicotine dependence rates were found to be significantly associated with the number of cigarette consumption expressed in the Brinkman Index.CONCLUSION: The *1A wild-type alleles have a greater risk of high-very high dependence rate compared to the other variants.

For students who are in puberty, they should have a self-concept in the face of changes experienced during puberty. Where they should have the knowledge, hope, and an assessment of the rapid body changes that occur at that time. But the facts on the ground, from observations and interviews that there are students who do not have a good self-concept in the face of puberty. This study classified the type of descriptive quantitative research. Research subjects were 79 students in the class VII puberty in SMP 13 Sijunjung. The research instrument is the questionnaire. Research findings reveal: in general students have a good self-concept in the face of puberty.

ABSTRACTAntenatal care in last three years at Kecamatan Kejayan did not reach the target, 100% for K1 and 95% for K4. This research aims to analyze the correlation of midwife’s cooperation, motivation, attitude, and performance on antenatal care in non insurance and insurance patients group. This is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. Spearman Correlation and Coeficient Contingency were used in this research to analyze the data. 36 midwifes were interviewed to obtain data.The results show that majority midwifes has cooperation with primary health care. Midwife’s motivation was high and attitude was positive. Midwife’s performance to non insurance and insurance patients was very high. There was moderate correlation (r=0,446) between cooperation (midwife with primary health care) and the performance to non insurance patients. There was very weak correlation (r=0,111) between cooperation (mindwife with doctor) and performance to insurance patients, and weak correlation (r=0,311) to non insurance patients. There was weak correlation (r=0,086) between motivation and performance to insurance patients, whereas correlation to non insurance was moderate (r=0,521). There was strong correlation (r=0,707) between attitude and performance to non insurance patient. The conclusion, attitude has most significant with performance in non insurance patient group. Keywords: antenatal care, attitude, cooperation, motivation, performance

Increased teacher performance is influenced by many factors, one of which is self-concept and teaching motivation. This study aims to explain the results of a field study on teacher performance measurement based on self-concept and teaching motivation. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The research subjects were 36 teachers of SMPN 6 Cilegon. Collecting data using a Likert scale questionnaire technique. Research hypothesis testing with product moment correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that self-concept and teaching motivation affected teacher performance by. And among the variables that have the most influence on teacher performance is work motivation as much as self-concept. Based on the research results, the teacher should improve self-concept and teaching motivation. With the increase in these two things, it is hoped that teacher performance can increase.

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of effectiveness of lecture with nuances of guidance services using Contextual Teaching Learning and Ignatian Pedagogy Paradigm in Group Dynamics Course to increase self-respect and others attitudes of students. The research subjects are 36 students participating in the Group Dynamics Course. This research method is a pre-design one-group pre-test-posttest design. The research instrument used the Scale of Self-Respect and Others Attitudes totaling 25 items with a reliability value of 0.936. This study uses descriptive data analysis techniques with categorization, and t-paired sampel test. The results showed that 27.78% of students had self-respect and others in the very high category before accepting lectures increased to 55.56% after receiving lectures. In the high category, 47.22% of students are required after attending college from 58.33% before receiving college. In the category there was a decline, namely before college there were 19.44% of students became absent (0%) after attending college. The conclusion of the results of this study is that lectures with the nuances of guidance services using CTL and IPP in the Group Dynamics Course effectively increase the self-respect and and other attitudes based on the t-paired sampel test with a significance value Sig. (2-tailed) (0.001) <(0.05).

Smoked fish is one of the most popular side dishes. Workers in the smoked fish industry do their work with sitting postures in a stool. This posture causes many complaints of musculoskeletal in workers. They are always in contact with water that causing itching and redness. The fogging process of the fish makes the work area full of smoke, so workers complain the shortness of breath. Besides, the work area was always flooded and dirty. The purpose of this study was to describe the hygiene sanitation condition, musculoskeletal complaints, the incidence of dermatitis and respiratory disorder. This research was a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at a smoked fish center in Bonang, Demak, Central Java. Research subjects as many as 80 people were taken randomly. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results showed the majority of workers were female by 72.5%, the majority of workers aged ≤35 years by 66,3% and the majority of workers had a working period of <5 years of 52.5%. Health complaints experienced were 87% MSDs complaints, dermatitis 40% and respiratory complaints 76%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on the part of employes job performance marketing division. This type of research is a quantitative study conducted on 32 employees of the marketing Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Sinar Jaya Malang. Analysis tools used were a range of scales and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of research competence influence on employee performance, including the ability to know that the competence evidenced in the high category with an average score scale range is 100.67, competence knowledge in very high category with a score of 105, and competence in the category of self-concept is also very high with the average score scale range is 109.67. Employee performance in the high category, indicated by an average score of 93.33 scale range.Keywords: The Characteristics of Individuals, Competence and employee performance, Marketing.

<p>Self efficacy is an important factor to improve the quality of life of Schizophrenia caregivers. A caregiver’s quality of life affects treatment process which is an important key in curing Schizophrenia patient. This research aims to investigate the relation of self-efficacy to the quality of life.  This is a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in the working area of <em>Puskesmas Godean I</em>, i.e. <em>Desa Sidoluhur, Desa Sidoagung, Desa Sidomulyo, </em>and <em>Desa Sidomoyo </em>on August 1 to September 15, 2018. There were 47 participants chosen using consecutive sampling technique. The dependent variable is the quality of life of Schizophrenia caregivers. Meanwhile, the independent variable is self-efficacy. Both variables were measured through questionnaire. The quantitative data was analyzed using chi square test. The characteristics of the research subjects are: female, middle aged, married, low-income earners, senior high school graduates, and have caring experience of more than 5 years. It is found that the self-efficacy of schizophrenia caregivers is in ‘strong’ category. There is a significant relation between the self-efficacy of Schizophrenia caregivers and their quality of life. The quality of life of<strong> </strong>Schizophrenia caregivers is influenced by high level of self-efficacy.</p><p><strong> </strong></p>

Background:The traditional learning method applies at Physiology Laboratory of Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is considered ineffective for the lecturers in managing the students. Moreover, the students perceive that their needs are not adequately accommodated by the lecturers. This downside can be resolved by an alternative learning method which provides conducive, active, creative, effective and enjoyable learning environment called peer assisted learning method. This study is aimed at discovering the students’ perceptions on peer assisted learning method and acquiring the students’ feedback and expectations on the effectiveness of peer-teaching method implementation.Method:The study used cross-sectional design of descriptive research.Results:From the questionnaire analysis with 150 respondents, 90 students of regular program and 60 students of international program, the result according to the frequencies of student perception were: 1) factor 1 were 45.8 % for very high category, 29.8 % for high category, 23.7 % for medium category, 0,8 % for very low category and 0 % for low category; 2) factor 2 were 45 % for high category,41.2 % for medium category,11.5 % for very high category,1.5 % for low category and 0.8 % for very low category; 3) factor 3 were 51.9 % for very high category, 31.3 % for high category,16.0 % for medium category,0.8% for very low category and 0% for low category; 4) factor 4 were 47.3 %for high category, 31.3 % for very high category,19.1 % for medium category,1.5 % for low category and 0.8% for very low category. There was no difference in perception between the students of regular and international program. Responses to open questions and FGD show a variety of students’ feedback and expectation on the peer assisted learning method.Conclusion:The students have shown positive perception on peer assisted learning as a learning method. The peer instructors required in Implementing this model are those students with good communication skill, confirmed academic qualification and capability in managing their fellow students’ learning.

This study aimed to determine the competence of teachers in planning and implementing chemistry learning based of curriculum 2013 case studies in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Research subjects were chemistry teachers in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Data collection tools used are documentation sheets, observation sheets and competency tests. Data were analyzed through data collection steps, presentation, data reduction and conclusions. Technique examination of data validity was conducted by triangulation technique and source triangulation. The result showed that the percentage of competence of chemistry teacher class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in planning chemistry learning based of curriculum 2013 was 91,02% in the very high category and the percentage of competence of chemistry teacher class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in implementing chemistry learning based of curriculum 2013 was 88,09% in the very high category. It showed that chemistry teacher had implemented the curriculum 2013 well.
