As a result of the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the global economy and the Russian economy experienced significant shocks. The trend of growth of the production market through information technologies has increased. In the process of developing information technologies and increasing the cost of economic resources, it became possible to operate new forms of enterprises and organizations-virtual organizations and virtual enterprises. The purpose of creating virtual forms of economic entities is the high rate of change in the external environment and the inability to adapt to these processes in the classical form of the enterprise. To enter new markets with high-quality products there are needed the modern forms of organization of inter-company interaction that allow reducing costs and increasing the speed of production and product quality, which becomes possible with network interaction between high-level professionals. The study describes the approaches of well-known scientists in the classification of the virtuality of the enterprise, in terms of the network form of interaction. There are described the characteristics of a virtual organization, which is a complex vertically integrated structure of many participants-companies operating with the support of a virtual network platform. Participants of a virtual organization have a wide range of key competencies, which allows them to participate in the creation of virtual enterprises by customer enterprises, to perform tasks for a single project. The article describes the features of a virtual enterprise organized to perform specific tasks for the project being implemented. There are described the organizational structure of the virtual organization management and the function of the manager, depending on the stage of the organization's life cycle. The structure of the virtual organization (virtual network platform, virtual enterprise, network broker) is illustrated, the functions of the manager are listed. The conclusion is made about the attractiveness of the virtual organization model for small and medium-sized businesses. The significant growth of the online market and strengthening of the positions of virtual organizations in the near future are predicted, due to changes in the economy in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

The article discusses approaches to the interpretation of the concept of a service, its specific differences from a physical product and the main features as an object of purchase and sale in the relevant market. Based on the analysis and systematization of existing scientific views, the main features of the service market and the features of the interaction of supply and demand in the service sector are revealed. The practice of functioning of the service market demonstrates the high dynamics of market processes, a pronounced segmentation of demand for services, a high degree of differentiation of services, a high rate of capital turnover and the important role of non-price barriers to entry into the market. The essence and value of the customer's customer loyalty for successful commercial activities and increasing the competitiveness of the manufacturer-supplier of the service has been investigated. Loyalty becomes an indicator of business performance and its ability to innovate. A customer-oriented business philosophy, where a wide range of factors of influence on the formation of customer loyalty is taken into account and used, will allow the company to count on long-term relationships with the consumer and will attract new customers through his positive experience. The possibilities and features of the application of competitive strategies by firms in the field of service activities were analyzed. The main trends in the development of the services market in the current stage, namely the processes of its digitalization, have been investigated. The buyer today is interested not only in price and quality, but also in good service. If a company meets customer service demand through the introduction of chat bots, self- service terminals, mobile applications, etc., then this contributes to the formation of a positive customer experience, which ultimately increases sales. The features and advantages of using information technologies both in business activities and in the implementation of consumer choice have been determined.

Shipbuilding in the United States is characterized by large teams of suppliers and subcontractors who collaborate and support shipbuilders. It is important that these shipbuilding teams function as a single integrated organization: A Virtual Enterprise. The inefficiencies and impediments caused by each team member using their own choice of information technologies, software, data management and processes must be addressed to increase overall US shipbuilding efficiency and cost effectiveness. The NIIIP SPARS project is developing the information infrastructure and protocols to enable shipbuilding Virtual Enterprises that will improve collaboration and information exchange within the US shipbuilding community.

Internet has played an important part in the success of information technologies. With the growing and changing demands, there are many limitations faced by current Internet. A number of network testbeds are created for solving a set of specific problems in Internet. Traditionally, these testbeds are lacking of large scale network and flexibility. Therefore, it is necessary to design and implement a testbed which can support wide range of experiments and has the ability of programmable network. Besides, there has been a big change enabled by cloud computing in recent years. Although networking technologies have lagged behind the advances in server virtualization, the networking is still an importance component to interconnect among virtual machines. There are also measurement issues with growing number of virtual machines in the same host. Therefore, we also propose integrating management functions of virtual network in our testbed. In this paper, we design and create a Future Internet testbed in Taiwan over TWAREN Research Network. This testbed evolves into an environment for programmable network and cloud computing. This paper also presents several finished and ongoing experiments on the testbed for multiple aspects including topology discovery, multimedia streaming, and virtual network integration. We will continue to extend our testbed and propose innovative applications for the next generation Internet.

The present article considers the need to predict migration flows using Predictive Analytics. The Russian Federation is a center of migration activity. The modern world is changing rapidly. An effective migration policy requires effective monitoring of migration flows, assessing the current situation in our and other countries and forecasting migration processes. There are information systems in Russia that contain a wide range of information about foreign citizens and stateless persons that provide the requested information about specific foreign citizens, including grouping it on various grounds. However, it is not possible to analyze and predict it automatically using thousands of parameters. Special attention in Russia is paid to digitalization. Using information technologies (artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data analysis) to forecast migration flows in conditions of variability of future events will allow to take into account a number of events and most accurately predict the quantitative and so-called "qualitative" structure of arrivals. The received information will help to develop state policy and to take appropriate measures in the field of migration regulation. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to amend existing legal acts in order to implement information technologies of Predictive Analytics into the practice of migration authorities.

The use of static frequency converters, which have a high switching frequency, generates voltage pulses with a high rate of change over time. In combination with cable and motor impedance, this generates repetitive overvoltage at the motor terminals, influencing the occurrence of partial discharges between conductors, causing degradation of the insulation of electric motors. Understanding the effects resulting from the frequency converter–electric motor interaction is essential for developing and implementing insulation systems with characteristics that support the most diverse applications, have an operating life under economically viable conditions, and promote energy efficiency. With this objective, a search was carried out in three recognized databases. Duplicate articles were eliminated, resulting in 1069 articles, which were systematically categorized and reviewed, resulting in 481 articles discussing the causes of degradation in the insulation of electric motors powered by frequency converters. A bibliographic portfolio was built and evaluated, with 230 articles that present results on the factors that can be used in estimating the life span of electric motor insulation. In this structure, the historical evolution of the collected information, the authors who conducted the most research on the theme, and the relevance of the knowledge presented in the works were considered.

Thrombocyte adhesion and aggregation in a vessel or on a chamber wall can be measured most readily if the flow is controlled and steady, and continuous observation is used. Videotape recording is very helpful for subsequent quantification of the dynamics. The adhesion of each thrombocyte can occur for a finite time interval:this interval has been observed to have a wide range. Platelets which escape often leave open a site which attracts other platelets preferentially. The rate of change of adhesion density (platelets/mm2) is affected by the local shear rate and the shear history upstream. Aggregation is affected similarly, and also proceeds with some platelet turnover. The role of erythrocytes in facilitating cross-stream migration of thrombocytes (which can enhance the growth rate of large thrombi) appears due in part to convective flow fields induced by the motion of erythrocytes in a shear flow, which can be demonstrated theoretically and experimentally. Observations of the phenomenlogy of adhesion and aggregation under controlled flow conditions and comparison with fLu id-dynamically based theory allows representation in terras of a small number of parameters with prospects of prediction of behaviour over a wide range of haemodynamic conditions; biochemical changes lead to changes in values of the parameters, so that activating agents and inhibiting agents modify values in different directions.

This study examined the extent to which the reading instructional practices learned by a cohort of teachers who participated in an intensive, yearlong professional development experience during the 1994-1995 school year have been sustained and modified over time. Teachers learned three multileveled practices—partner reading, collaborative strategic reading, and making words—that promote gains in reading for students from a wide range of achievement levels. Teachers were observed and interviewed 3 years later to determine the extent to which they continued to implement the practices, the ways in which they modified them, and factors that influenced their sustained use of the practices. With the exception of one teacher, all the teachers sustained one or more of the three practices at a high rate.

The emergence of new forms of business organization due to the development of the latest information technologies leads to the need to find adequate ways to manage virtual structures. This article discusses the features of multi-agent artificial intelligence systems and the possibilities of their application in virtual organizations. The concept of a multi-agent system is proposed, which will improve the management processes of a virtual organization. The developed algorithm is adaptive and can be used in various virtual organizations for self-development of their management systems and achieving their goals.

Abstract. Empirical relationships that link cloud droplet number (CDN) to aerosol number or mass are commonly used to calculate global fields of CDN for climate forcing assessments. In this work we use a sectional global model of sulfate and sea-salt aerosol coupled to a mechanistic aerosol activation scheme to explore the limitations of this approach. We find that a given aerosol number concentration produces a wide range of CDN concentrations due to variations in the shape of the aerosol size distribution. On a global scale, the dependence of CDN on the size distribution results in regional biases in predicted CDN (for a given aerosol number). Empirical relationships between aerosol number and CDN are often derived from regional data but applied to the entire globe. In an analogous process, we derive regional "correlation-relations" between aerosol number and CDN and apply these regional relations to calculations of CDN on the global scale. The global mean percentage error in CDN caused by using regionally derived CDN-aerosol relations is 20 to 26%, which is about half the global mean percentage change in CDN caused by doubling the updraft velocity. However, the error is as much as 25–75% in the Southern Ocean, the Arctic and regions of persistent stratocumulus when an aerosol-CDN correlation relation from the North Atlantic is used. These regions produce much higher CDN concentrations (for a given aerosol number) than predicted by the globally uniform empirical relations. CDN-aerosol number relations from different regions also show very different sensitivity to changing aerosol. The magnitude of the rate of change of CDN with particle number, a measure of the aerosol efficacy, varies by a factor 4. CDN in cloud processed regions of persistent stratocumulus is particularly sensitive to changing aerosol number. It is therefore likely that the indirect effect will be underestimated in these important regions.

Abstract Background The use of ultrasonography in the intensive care unit (ICU) is steadily increasing but is usually restricted to examinations of single organs or organ systems. In this study, we combine the ultrasound approaches the most relevant to ICU to design a whole-body ultrasound (WBU) protocol. Recommendations and training schemes for WBU are sparse and lack conclusive evidence. Our aim was therefore to define the range and prevalence of abnormalities detectable by WBU to develop a simple and fast bedside examination protocol, and to evaluate the value of routine surveillance WBU in ICU patients. Methods A protocol for focused assessments of sonographic abnormalities of the ocular, vascular, pulmonary, cardiac and abdominal systems was developed to evaluate 99 predefined sonographic entities on the day of admission and on days 3, 6, 10 and 15 of the ICU admission. The study was a clinical prospective single-center trial in 111 consecutive patients admitted to the surgical ICUs of a tertiary university hospital. Results A total of 3003 abnormalities demonstrable by sonography were detected in 1275 individual scans of organ systems and 4395 individual single-organ examinations. The rate of previously undetected abnormalities ranged from 6.4 ± 4.2 on the day of admission to 2.9 ± 1.8 on day 15. Based on the sonographic findings, intensive care therapy was altered following 45.1% of examinations. Mean examination time was 18.7 ± 3.2 min, or 1.6 invested minutes per detected abnormality. Conclusions Performing the WBU protocol led to therapy changes in 45.1% of the time. Detected sonographic abnormalities showed a high rate of change in the course of the serial assessments, underlining the value of routine ultrasound examinations in the ICU. Trial registration The study was registered in the German Clinical Trials Register (DRKS, 7 April 2017; retrospectively registered) under the identifier DRKS00010428.
