The research is aimed at understanding the government policies on cultural tourism and pandemic mitigations in Bali made during the covid-19 pandemic. It uses qualitative method in which the primary data were collected through face-to-face and virtual video interviews to seven informants who were selected using purposive sampling to assure they aware of and understand the researched case; and the secondary data were collected from online publications. The research finds the regional regulation on cultural tourism was amended during the Covid-19 outbreak to strengthen the use of local cultures for tourism adapting both national and international tourism policies to lead to a more responsible tourism designating Bali’s local indigenous cultures of Tri Hita Karana and Sad Kerthi as basis of cultural tourism development in Bali; and more importantly, Bali’s government issued particular policies and  executed immediate measures to reopen tourism in Bali which totally shut down due to pandemic. These policies reacted differently by local people and remains become a hot debate within Balinese communities.

This research is aimed identifying the advantages of the regulation of TUPE principles, as well as inhibiting factors for outsourcing companies to apply the TUPE principles after the Decision of the  Constitutional Court Number 27/PUU-IX/ 2011. The research was conducted by using normative-empirical method. The data of the research consisted of primary data and secondary data. All of the collected data were analyzed using qualitative method. The results of this research were presented in a descriptive analysis report. The results of the research indicated he advantages that could be obtained by workers in relation with regulation of the TUPE principles included protection of wages, welfare and working requirements, protection of workers when the company was taken over, protection of workers when there is a change of outsourcing company and regulation of the right to file a lawsuit to the industrial relations court. The inhibiting  factors in the application of the TUPE principles in the  outsourcing companies after the  Decision of Constitutional Court  were the lack of socialization and supervision of the government, various legal loopholes of discrepancies between the implementing regulation and  the Decision of Constitutional Court, uncertainty severance regulation, assumptions that TUPE was a new burden which may disadvantage employers, and the lack of understanding of the workers related to their rights.

Abstract The objectives of this research were 1) to study, collect, analyze, synthesize, and extract lessons learned from primary and secondary data of creative tourism and the principle of Authenticity Trend in the context of 5 Andaman provinces; 2) to study, explore, and collect the academic knowledge related to the Peranakan culture; 3) to search for some activities that are suitable for the context of creative tourism in 5 provinces (Ranong, Krabi, Pang-nga, Trang and Phuket); and 4) to develop and evaluate the creative tourism model. This research used a mixed method between the quantitative and qualitative. There were 2 sampling groups; A) the quantitative method was collected from Thai and foreign tourists in the amount of 800 persons and B) the qualitative method was also collected from the heads of the department, officers, professors who are related to the tourism in the amount of 9 persons and the community leaders, knowledgeable persons, and experts in the amount of 40 persons. The tools for gathering the quantitative data was a questionnaire with reliability in 0.95 and the structural interview from a qualitative method. Then the data were analyzed by the statistical in term of percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Scheffe method. The results were revealed that 1. In the quantitative data, the overall results were at a high level of demand as follows: A) the model should have a necessary information about creative tourism for a tourist in a high level of demand in 3.97; B) the trend for promoting the cultural tourism in 5 provinces should be following the principle of Authenticity Trend in a high level of demand in 3.96; C) the activities in promoting the creative tourism should be related with the Peranakan’s culture in a high level of demand in 3.98; D) the community should be participated in Peranakan’s cultural tourism development in a high level of demand in 4.02; and then E) it should have a form of cultural tourism management by the community with a high level of demand in 3.94. 2. In the qualitative research was found that the direction of the future of Peranakan cultural tourism should A) emphasize on the local wisdom, impression, appreciation, and awareness of the visitors; B) the community owners or the local wisdom teachers should present the knowledge by themselves; C) the government should promote the new concept of the creative tourism for Thai and foreign tourists in many ways; D) should have various methods and media to promote the ideas and attitude of the creative tourism (Peranakan culture) for the tourists; E) should have various presentation methods to build a confidence for tourists; and F) should establish or develop a fundamental information source or information center for tourists who are interested in traveling in 5 provinces of Peranakan culture 3. The model should consist of A) Input (many academic knowledge, such the recreational activities, the concept of creative tourism, and the knowledge of Peranakan culture) B) the Process (the cooperative network management between the government, private sector, and people in the form of Community Based Management) and C) Output (creative activities according to the integrated tourism between 3 concepts a) the creative tourism b) the Authenticity Trend and c) the Peranakan culture). 4. The hypothesis testing was found that the creative tourism model was in efficiency and good quality.

In the view of Islam, the Dhuafa (orphans, destitute, neglected children) occupy the privileges of Allah SWT and His Apostles as in Surah Al-Maun Verses 1-3, for this, it is needed help from individuals and institutions to be able to maintain survival, and not displaced to become irresponsible people. This study illustrates how the Chairman of the Shine Al-Falah Foundation's leadership in fostering the Minangkabau village boarding school for the poor and the Shine Al-Falah Foundation's synergy with the government, donors, and the community. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type. Primary data sources are the chairman, the supervisor of the Shine Al-Falah foundation, while the secondary data are the leader of the Islamic Boarding School, the laziswaf management, the orphanage management, the male / female boarding supervisor and the students. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed the leadership of the chairman of the Foundation Shine Al-Falah succeeded in fostering the Minangkabau village boarding school to be able to continue to exist in continuing education development by building participatory leadership to all stakeholders and trying to build synergy with relevant government agencies, the community and donors to run the program planned to meet the educational needs, infrastructure, basic food needs and so on that are suitable for children of poor people in Padang city, especially for children in the Minangkabau Village Islamic Boarding School.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence and the right strategy in developing the Wonosalam durian agro-tourism area. The location of the study was carried out in the village of Wonosalam, Wonosalam District, Jombang City.   This research was conducted for   (two) months, namely between February - March 2019.   The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data taken directly from the research location of the Durian Wonosalam agrotourism area through direct observation at the site, interviews with the government, community shops, and filling out questionnaires.    Respondents were selected by 20 people to fill out the research questionnaire as follows: Government (3 people), namely the Head of the device and the Office of Tourism Staff of Jombang (2 people) Community Stores (2 people), Tourist managers (3 people). And Visitors (10 people).  Secondary data is data obtained through agencies related to this research, both tabulation and descriptive.   The analytical methods used are SWOT and QSPM analysis.   Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the alternative strategy for developing the right durian Wonosalam agro-tourism area is the   SO Strategy, namely the strategy of agro-tourism development by maintaining the existing tourism power and development strategy by increasing  promotion to related parties and outside regions through   seminar seminars or utilizing technological developments the highest value of attraction is found in strategy 1 (SO) with total attractiveness (TAS) of 6.164. by exploring the potential and actions of tourism preservation that exist as a characteristic possessed by the Wonosalam region with a variety of attractions that are owned, Optimizing the superiority of tourism remains quality so as to attract tourists.

This article empirically discusses the Authoritarian nature of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic between 1999-2015. It employed qualitative method as a means of data collection and analysis. The primary data was generated via in-depth Interviews with relevant stakeholders who were purposively selected. Secondary data was also utilized to compliment the interviews. The article is written within the purview of the Authoritarian theory of communication and it was found that FRCN between the period under study has been dominated, controlled and dictated by the ruling PDP, reporting issues unethically. The outfit was mostly dancing to the tune of the party in power (PDP). It is recommended that FRCN should not be directly controlled by the government or party in power. Also, a law should be put in place to make it discharge its responsibility of communicating vital, truthful and objective information fairly for the people to be equipped with factual information capable of bringing the needed informed decision particularly during elections.

ABSTRAK Surabaya sekarang jadi kota Industri makanan serta bermacam makanan ringan yang mulai menjanjikan jadi usaha yang punya omset penjualan serta pendapatan lebih yang dapat disebutkan benar-benar memberikan keuntungan. Banyak camilan yang tersebar di Surabaya yang memiliki bentuk, rasa, pengemasan, serta penampilan yang berlainan yang dibikin semenarik kemungkinan untuk mengundang perhatian customer.Studi kelayakan usaha diperlukan untuk melihat sebuah gambaran apakah metode pendampingan terintegrasi ini sudah layak atau tidak untuk dijalankan dalam suatu usaha. Penelitian bertujuan untuk pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah yang ada di daerah Surabaya. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil data primer berupa wawancara dengan responden serta data sekunder dari website yang berhubungan  dengan UMKM dan laman lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian diharapkan bisa memberi input pada pemangku kebutuhan dalam soal ini ialah pemerintah dalam usaha peningkatan UMKM di waktu mendatang.   Kata kunci : pendampingan UMKM, Model terintegrasi, pengembangan UMKM   ABSTRAK Surabaya is currently a city of food and various snack industries that are starting to promise as a business that has a sales turnover and more income, which can be said to be very profitable. Many snacks have been circulating in Surabaya that has different shapes, flavors, packaging, and appearance that are made as attractive as possible to attract the attention of consumers. Business feasibility studies are needed to see a picture of whether this integrated assistance method is feasible or not to run. in an endeavor. The research aims at training and mentoring for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the Surabaya area. This research methodology uses a descriptive qualitative method by taking primary data in the form of interviews with respondents and secondary data from websites related to MSMEs and other pages. The results of the study are expected to provide input to stakeholders, in this case, the government in the effort to develop MSME in the future. This study aims to explain the problems and strategies of schools and teachers in coastal areas of the Buton islands in carrying out learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.  This research method is descriptive qualitative. Primary data are collected through online questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Research informants come from the elements of teachers, high school principals, students and parents of participants, especially Muhammadiyah High School. Secondary data is obtained through literature studies. The data are analyzed using qualitative data analysis method consisting of data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation and conclusion drawing. From the results of the study, it is concluded that there are various problems in the implementation of learning in high schools during the pandemic-Covid-19. The problems are strongly related to the unpreparedness of schools, teachers, parents, and students in facing the transformation of learning during the pandemic.  In addition, network unpreparedness also greatly affects the transformation of learning from offline to online to ineffective. Therefore, there are various strategies that schools and teachers try to implement to carry out learning, both online and face-to-face through limited class meetings and home visits. The results of this study show that the implementation of learning during the pandemic does not run effectively due to very complex problems. The role of the government is very important in preparing facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of learning during the pandemic covid-19.

Malamang tradition is a culture that has grown and developed in the peoples. Night Tradition in Padang Pariaman has potential to be the object of cultural tourism by the government. Goverment of Padang Pariaman Regency’s to be a cultural tourism object, it can be done by organizing messages or information about the nighttime tradition to the peoples. This research uses information integration theory. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with public relations ethnography approach. The object of this research is malamang tradition as cultural tourism. In this research, the informants are the employees from the government who related to the government's efforts in communicating the malamang tradition into the object of cultural tourism in Padang Pariaman Regency. Sources of this research data are found from primary data and secondary data. This research uses data collection techniques by observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. In this research, decribed government's efforts in communicating the malamang tradition into the object of cultural tourism in Padang Pariaman Regency. Malamang activities are not only related to culture and spiritual teachings, but have social values, cooperation and communication between the community and local government in the ethnographic view of communication. Padang Pariaman Government provides knowledge about the malamang tradition to students as a communication effort to the young generation. Padang Pariaman Government sees the potential of tourism in malamang tradition, but has not yet started to communicate to the public.

This study aimed to design priorities of strategies for the development of earthenware craft business in Kasongan Tourism Village, Bantul Regency. To pursue this objective, the method used in this study was qualitative descriptive. Moreover, primary and secondary data were used in the data analysis of this study. The primary data were collected from the results of observation result, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the secondary data were obtained from literatures, articles, journals, and internet websites related to the recent study. The technique of analysis used was Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this study, there were three criteria analyzed using AHP, namely the government policies, human resources, and institution. The results showed that the most prioritized criterion of the strategies for the development of earthenware craft business in Kasongan Tourism Village was the government policies with the weight value of 65 percent. The next criterion was institution with the weight value of 23 percent, and the last prioritized criterion was human resources with the weight value of 12 percent. From the calculation of AHP through expert choice 11 software, it was known that the results of inconsistency ratio was 0.035, meaning that the answers given by the key persons were consistent.

Increased tourism activity and the vulnerability of the Anyer tourism area on the coast of the Sunda Strait triggered the development of hotel preparedness for disaster risk reduction. The safety and security of tourists is the main focus of stakeholders, especially the hotel in realizing the coastal area of the Sunda Strait as a tsunami-resistant area. This study aims to identify tsunami preparedness programs for hotels in the tourism area of Anyer, the government programs of the Banten Province, and Serang Regency were also identified. Primary data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained through previous studies and local government policies. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis methods. This study was carried out for six months in eight hotels in the Anyer tourism area. The results showed that hotels in the Anyer tourism area had not implemented the non-structural preparedness concept according to the tsunami ready hotel concept before the Sunda Strait Tsunami. The absence of standard tsunami operational procedures is one of the biggest causes of the number of casualties.
