I generally describe the economic situation during the COVID-19 pandemic, evaluate the impact of ties between the oil and tube rolling industries on the economic sovereignty and security of Russia, role of the tube rolling industry in the economic security of the State. I analyzed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the goods circulation in the tube rolling industry and found probable implications of economic destruction for Russia due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and proposed possible solutions for the tube rolling industry. Conclusions and Relevance. The economic security of the tube rolling industry during the current pandemic is exposed to the destruction of foreign trade between countries exporting tube rolling products, price drop and a reduction in the consumption of energy resources worldwide, capital flight, a decrease in labor resources, slowing business activity and restricted transportation tube rolling products, growing uncertainty on the consumption of tube rolling products. The menacing threats can be eliminated given the State intervenes and regulates the Russian tube rolling industry so as to create favorable conditions for the beneficial economic operations.

The article examines the role of customs authorities in ensuring economic security, determines the nature of the impact of the digital economy on the specifics of the functions performed by customs authorities, and analyzes possible risks and challenges, as well as potential ways to neutralize them. In the current conditions of the intensive desire of states to make the rapid transition to the technologies of the V and VI technological structures, it is natural to form a set of elements of such a way of organizing economic relations as the digital economy. In this context, the impact of the developing components of the digital economy on the directions and specifics of the activities of not only private organizations, but also state bodies, including customs, is obvious. The article shows that in the context of the formation of the digital economy, customs authorities, being one of the subjects of ensuring the economic security of the state, continue to implement their main functions and tasks, while adjusting the used methods in the direction of an increasingly deep application of ICT. The general change in working methods caused by the development of the digital economy, as it was mentioned above, leads to the transformation of the chosen ways of solving the set tasks and performing the assigned functions, but does not affect their semantic essence.

It aims to show the impact of climate, religion, and the perception of happiness on the state of civil society through details of a national nature. The main research method is to compare data from global research on the state of civil society with data from climatic conditions, dominant religions, and happiness indices. The article proves coincidently that these factors are reflected in such essential characteristics of civil society as "openness" and "closed-mindedness". The interaction between the national character and the construction of civil society has two stages. It is concluded that the results obtained are important to evaluate the prospects for the construction and development of civil society in different countries and regions of the world. Further research in this direction involves the study of other aspects of the impact of national character and political mindset on the functioning of civil society.

Investment determines the sustainability and prosperity of an economy. The paper seeks to (1) give an overview of the roles of companies on the stability of the financial system, based on existing theoretical and empirical work; and (2) to highlight the reasons which expose them to the non-application of their duties against the State. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis using the Direct Science database was employed. The results of the analysis allowed us to study the search trend by analyzing the distribution of publications, authors, types of publications and fields of research and also showed that the themes of the study are of great scientific interest because of the surge in the number of publications on the role of companies over the last ten years averaging 76.3 per year while 1,690 were on the impact of company behaviour on the stability of the financial system.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the current state and dynamics of technical, energy capacities, labor resources and wages in Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, the impact of these indicators on efficiency of agricultural production, indicators of development and competitiveness of products on the domestic and foreign markets. The moral and physical deterioration of the equipment available at the farms is determined, which does not contribute to the increase of labor productivity and to obtaining consistently high economic results. On the basis of the dynamics of the analyzed statistical data, the problem of providing agricultural producers with labor resources was confirmed against the background of deepening of depopulation processes in the countryside, which led to the deterioration of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of human resources. Indicators of development and production rates of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine have been investigated, that showed a low level of innovation implementation. Mathematical formalization of the relationship between the dynamics of changes in the gross value added indicators and the volume of sales of agricultural products is carried out. Based on the analysis of innovative activity indicators in the agricultural sector of Ukraine and the consistent assessment of the adequacy of linear and nonlinear pair equations, the model specification is presented, which is presented in the form of linear pair regression, which confirms the existence of a direct link between changes in the volume of sales in the agrarian sector.

ABSTRACTDrawing insights from the institutional embeddedness perspective, this article explores the changing patterns and significance of two types of strategic networking along with the institutional transformation in China. Using two-wave survey data on Chinese private firms, we find that after the state relaxed its control of resources the importance of networking with the state tends to decline, while ties with market actors become increasingly important. Determinants of network investment have shifted from managers’ perceived importance of different types of network ties to a firm's immediate institutional environment. Finally, the impact of networking on firm growth has also altered over time. These findings advance our understanding of the crucial role of the institutional environment in shaping firms’ networking strategies and have important theoretical and practical implications.
