Subject. The 2020 economic crisis turned to be a global threat to the economic security of some corporations, industries and markets. Objectives. We evaluate the current situation when corporations are taking dip during the crisis. We also analyze new opportunities for them, examine possible modifications of the marketing strategy. Methods. The study is based on the dialectical method, a combination of historic and logic unity, structural analysis, traditional techniques for analysis and synthesis. Results. We carried out the comparative analysis of industries which happened to be the most crisis-hit. The article also provides a review of markets that demonstrate the potential for growth. We examined marketing communication mechanisms, which may modify the marketing strategy provided they are applied in a new manner and combined with digital technology. Conclusions and Relevance. The economic crisis considerably undermined the performance of certain industries. However, it revealed some important tendencies, with the timely implementation of digital technologies being the main one. The latter underlie e?commerce, which has plummeted during the crisis and will definitely continue to grow after the crisis. Digital technologies are a cornerstone for crisis management activities for the overwhelming majority of crisis-hit industries, which are trying to avoid probable bankruptcy brought by the crisis.

Subject. The 2020 economic crisis has become a global threat to the economic security of States, corporations and households. The elimination of this threat to economic security is a key priority of the State. Objectives. The article is dedicated to factors of the current crisis, both individually and in aggregate, as well as forecasts of the economic development during the crisis. Methods. The study is based on the scientific knowledge as dialectic, a combination of historical and logical unity, structural analysis, traditional methods of economic analysis and synthesis. Results. We carried out the comparative analysis of crisis theories, forecasted the economic development of the IMF, the World Bank, the Audit Chamber, and considered analytical agencies in dynamics, taking into account adjustments when the crisis manifests itself. Counteraction methods are reviewed from theoretical and practical perspectives. The article also analyzed the international expertise in crisis management. Conclusions and Relevance. The economic crisis was found to be at its initial stage, with negative scenarios being more probable. Proposed and implemented, local measures can mitigate the economic decline, prevent massive bankruptcies and a social explosion. Meanwhile, measures to restructure the economic policy may contribute to overcoming the crisis. The findings can be used by federal government bodies to adjust economic policies, develop programs and strategies for the socio-economic development of regions, and economic security strategies for corporations.

The scientific article is devoted to a research review of tools, methods, directions and practical recom-mendations aimed at the application of management decisions of anti-crisis management while ensuring the economic security and financial stability of the functioning of enterprises of the economy of the Russian Fed-eration in the context of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The relevance of the study is due to a sharp deterioration in the external environment, due to which the domestic business is faced with the actual onset of the economic crisis, which, in turn, forces the use of anti-crisis management mechanisms. The article analyzes the main factors leading to the formation of the crisis period of the Russian economy in the context of the coronavirus. The characteristics of anti-crisis management are described. The main anti-crisis management decisions of Russian enterprises during a pandemic, which can provide a way for a business from a crisis, are listed.

Subject. The 2020 economic crisis and the coronavirus pandemic put the economic security of some companies, sectors and markets at stake, including the housing and utility sector. Lowering the threat is the reason why managing companies’ strategies are modified. Objectives. We review needs of various consumers changing during the current crisis, analyze new opportunities. The article also discusses the possible modification of the marketing strategy. Methods. The study is based on methods of analysis, synthesis, forecasting. Preparing for the study, we referred to analytical reviews, scientific papers, proceedings of scientific conferences, sectoral editions. Results. We conducted the comparative analysis of segments and types of managing companies’ activities and outlined recommendations for modifying the strategy of managing companies. Conclusions and Relevance. The COVID-19 pandemic considerable reshaped the consumer demand across various segments (В2В, В2С, В2G)and activities, such as real estate management, technological operation, cleaning. Following the findings of the study, we make suggestions for modifying the strategy of marketing companies.

The article analyzes the pandemic period results, which can be attributed to the increased need for companies' coopetition. One of the most popular during the COVID–19 pandemic was the marketing strategy, the socalled innovative business model “coopetition”, to overcome the crisis consequences. Coopetition has become the primary marketing strategy of leading high-tech companies to achieve synergy between competitors. This model is used not only for cooperation with competing companies but also for suppliers, customers, and firms that produce additional or related products. Attention is focused on the correlation between the applied marketing innovations and the company's ability to survive in the economic crisis conditions-the relevance of undervalued marketing strategies that can be effective and efficient during the crisis increases. The literature review found that the pre-pandemic crisis management studies focused primarily on internal company reserves. Simultaneously, companies in pandemic collapse use marketing strategies that focus on external communication with competitors to overcome the crisis. The phenomenon of collabour ative competition has much in common with open innovation, where competing companies share their achievements. This strategy is aimed at expanding the market and forming new business relationships during a severe economic crisis.

Subject. The article focuses on the blockchain technology, its substance and its use as part of electronic balloting. We also investigate issues of countering the corruption in electoral democracy. Objectives. We herein study the use of information technology, specifics and advantages of the blockchain technology. We also formulate our suggestions and recommendations for improving the electronic balloting process. Methods. The study is based on dialectical methods of research, analysis and synthesis, deduction and graphic interpretation of the findings. Results. We reviewed digital technologies inhibiting the corruption in democratic elections. We suggest ensuring the consistency of the regulatory framework that governs the aspect, eliminating the digital illiteracy of people and trying to increase the IT competence of digital security professionals. Conclusions and Relevance. The use of digital technology for voting has positive and negative features. The intangible side of digital processes complicates the control and the detection of irregularities and falsification instances in case of corruption or negligence in electoral bodies. The findings demonstrate advantages of the blockchain technology and its impact on corruptive factors in voting. The State should pay attention to the legislative framework of blockchain in elections. The success of electronic balloting depends not only on the technology implemented, but also on the corporate culture. In electronic balloting, blockchain support professionals should timely improve the quality of the system in order to ensure the electronic balloting security. Otherwise, the technology implemented will just fuel th public distrust to electronic balloting.

The subject of research-theoretical concepts of economic security managementof universities. The purpose of the article. The study of the essence of the economicsecurity management system of the university and the definition of its main tasks,the formulation of principles of economic security management of the university.Methodology. The dialectical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, methodsof structural-logical and semantic analysis were used to study and summarizescientific papers on the research topic. The results of the work. The essence of theuniversity’s economic security management system has been reviewed. The maintasks of the control system have been identified. A definition of the university’seconomic security system has been proposed. Principles of management of economicsecurity of the university have been formulated. These are: scientific andorganizational and social principles. Conclusions. The proposed principles allow totake into account the economic role and social mission of universities in managingeconomic security.

This paper aimed at the problem of improvement the management system of economic security of natural use objects on a regional level using the organized digital dynamic monitoring for informational provision and justifying the options of efficient management decisions of operative and strategic importance by criteria of ecological, economic and social security. Monitoring of the regional (territorial) natural objects provides constant systematic observation of the processes that take place inside of a “region-state” system and at world’s natural resources market. It needed to create the informational database for efficient management of a nature-use system. We suggest plan of making the scientific and research institute in PoltNTU for conducting investigations based on continuous informational monitoring. The increasingly stellar attraction of the digital technologies and the growing, though not universal, consensus of the need to build a sustainable future, are two powerful trends within society. The aim of this article is to offer an exploratory review of how the leading companies within the digital transformation market have addressed sustainable development. As such, the article’s originality and value lie in offering a review of current corporate thinking within that market. The study adopts an inductive, qualitative approach based on an examination of published company reports, and identifies six major sustainability themes being actively promoted and supported. The article concludes that the current sustainability objectives of the technology companies are driven as much by commercial reality as any altruistic motives, and that support and promotion of the circular economy may offer the best opportunity for digital technologies to meaningfully impact sustainable development.
