Currently, the development carried out in Katapang Indah Village has not been fully participatory. This can be seen from the contribution of community participation in the development planning process, where the development being implemented has not responded to community needs. Given the importance of community participation in the development planning process, it is necessary to conduct a study on efforts to increase community participation in Katapang Indah Village, in order to realize sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to identify the form and level of community participation in the development planning process. By using the descriptive analysis method, the results show that community participation in Katapang Indah Village is included in the induced participation group with the form of vertical participation, where the community only follows policies that have been formulated by village leaders or traditional leaders. This is due to the lack of knowledge from the community about the importance of participating in the activities of the village development process. Efforts were made to (1) provide outreach to the public about the mechanism for community participation in the planning process; (2) increasing the intensity of socialization and counseling regarding development planning to the community; (3) increasing the role of traditional and community leaders in formulating decisions by taking into account the characteristics and needs of village communities. Keywords: community participation, development planning process, sustainable village developmentAbstrak. Local government will gain prestige if the examination accounting performance of local government gets an unqualified opinion (WTP) from BPK. The opinion shows that the performance of the local government is in accordance with the principle of accountability. However, not all of local governments be able to achieve the predicate of WTP, because indeed to get it is not easy. Therefore, it is necessary for agencies to be the leading sector to assist all OPDs in preparing the accounting performance reports of each agency before the BPK enters, and the agency is the Inspectorate. This research aims to describe the role of Inspectorate in Samarinda City in defending the WTP predicate.Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, in-depth interviews were conducted to officials from the Inspectorate and Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKAD) to validate the data. The conclusions obtained were that the Inspectorate had several roles in maintaining the WTP predicates in Samarinda City, namely: the role of facilitation, guidance, and verification for the OPD, the coordination role for the DPRD, the role of coordination and facilitation for the BPK, and the role of reporting and input to regional heads to take further policy steps. Quality antenatal care has a major role in reducing maternal mortality. Every effort to improve quality must also be accompanied by efforts to pay attention to factors that contribute to improving the performance of midwives in providing services. The study used a combination of quantitative approaches in 67 midwives in the Bukittinggi and qualitatively in 15 informants, of which 9 people included in-depth interview informants to coordinator midwives, head of the Public health center and staffing and 6 FGD informants to midwives on duty at the health center. The results of quantitative data analysis, factors related to the performance of midwives are incentives, motivation and workload. Motivation is the most dominant factor related to the performance of midwives. The results of qualitative data analysis, the leadership plays an important role in increasing motivation to work midwives and optimizing the role of midwives in overcoming problems related to overlapping workloads. Midwives also need to increase their participation efforts and empower pregnant women so that programs can run well and provide positive feedback for improving the health status of pregnant women. Basically antenatal services provided by midwives are in accordance with standards, but the paradigm of antenatal care for pregnant women must shift from achieving quantity to focus on quality. To improve the performance of midwives in providing antenatal care, several efforts are needed: monitoring and evaluation of the quality of antenatal care by midwives, leadership involvement in efforts to increase midwife motivation both from supervision and reward management in non-material forms. Providing equal opportunities for midwives to improve competence through training, especially training related to quality antenatal care. In addition, the provision of infrastructure at the polindes needs attention.

In order to reduce poverty in the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Agriculture implements the BEKERJA program, which is an effort to empower poor farmers in farming multi-commodities, including laying hens, vegetables, fruit and plantation crops. The objective of this study is to understand the role of the program on increasing farmers' income and reducing poverty. This research was conducted in 11 provinces covering 38 districts which were the location of the BEKERJA program in 2018 and 2019. The data used were primary data collected through in-depth interviews of farmers participating in the program. The results of quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis concluded that the program was quite successful in enhancing agricultural business activities among poor farmers, but it had not been able to increase farmers' income significantly. The number of poor farmers participating in the program only decreased by 1.48%. There are many challenges faced in empowering poor farmers, and therefore a strong commitment is needed to reduce poverty in the agricultural sector. To increase the effectiveness of these poverty reduction efforts, the empowerment of poor farmers in the future should be carried out as the following: (1) commodities developed are focused on the laying hens and vegetables farming, (2) farmers empowerment and provision of agricultural facilities should be continued at least until the farming activities is financially profitable, (3) technical guidance for cultivation should be strengthen, (4) beneficiaries of the program should be prioritized to young farmers, and (5) development a special program that is focussed for the poor farmers.

This research uses in-depth interviews with three data journalists from the Houston Chronicle and the New York Times in the United States to describe the role of data journalists, and to illustrate how and why they use big data in their stories. Data journalists possess a unique set of skills including being able to find data, gather data, and use that data to tell a compelling story in a written and visually coherent way. Results show that as newspapers move to a digital format the role of a data journalist is becoming more essential as is the importance of laws such as the Freedom of Information Act to enable journalists to request and use data to continue to inform the public and hold those in power accountable.
