<em><span lang="EN-IN">Language as a communication tool consisting of a symbol system, which is composed of the framework of social group relations, can also have an impact on the overall structure of cultural interaction. Art as one of the cultural activities in Bali, can not be separated from the use of the Balinese language as a medium of communication. In Balinese gamelan practices, the role of the Balinese language is very important. This can be seen from the activity of playing gamelan Gambang. Gamelan Gambang is one of the unique Balinese gamelan. In which there is the use of the Balinese language as a form of maintaining the Balinese language from generation to generation. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods through data collection, observation, interviews, discography, and documentation. Through this method, it is known that the preservation of the Balinese language is carried out by using the Balinese language alus as verbal communication, introduction to prayers of praise, writing Gambang gending notation. Various terms in Balinese gamelan techniques that use Balinese, such as the terms kotekan, cecandetan, tetorekan and oncang-ocang, while in terms of the terms of the playing techniques of each Gambang instrument that uses Balinese, namely; noltol, nyelangkit, nyelat/nyelag, ngoncang and nyading.</span></em>

Abstract This study aims to analyze and illustrate the leadership role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance in MIS Asy Syarifiyah, Cikampek District, Karawang Regency. The study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by using methods a) observation, b) interviews and c) documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the headmaster of the madrasa uses a democratic leadership style and has performed its role as a madrasa leader in improving teacher performance by making plans and implementation through coaching and development. So that between leadership and planning styles as well as the implementation of the headmaster has a causal relationship or cause and effect that makes the teacher as a professional educator to realize the objectives of the madrasah better. The role of Islamic values in an institution properly and correctly will influence people's decisions to become members of the institution. This study aims to analyze the role and implications of Islamic values of the members of the KSU SWM Malang city, in improving the existence of the institution. The method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study were several traders of the Dinoyo traditional market in Malang city, the chairman of the SWM cooperative management and the manager of the SWM cooperative. The results of the study found that the Islamic value of the members of the SWM cooperative was shown in the form of solidarity / teamwork, sincerity and trust in the good performance of the management, as well as the KSU-SWM manager.

Abstract: Financial institutions have a role as intermediary institutions or a process of transferring funds from savers to borrowers or those who need funds. The role of financial institutions is very large in the growth and development of the community's economy. Currently, non-bank financial institutions also have the influence to develop the businesses of the surrounding community that cannot be reached by banks. One of them is in the Sharia Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSPPS) Kramat, which provides financing with rahn products. Researchers conducted research on the implementation of rahn products and strengthening the business of members in KSPPS Kramat. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Rahn products and to determine the effect of Rahn financing in increasing income and strengthening businesses that were built or even being run by members. The research conducted at KSPPS Kramat uses qualitative research methods, by interviewing several members of KSPPS Kramat and their administrators. While the data collection techniques carried out by researchers are interviews, documentation and observation. In this study the researchers found several things. In the application of the Rahn product at KSPPS Kramat using a sale and purchase agreement, but it does not take advantage of the goods that are pawned and the application for financing is also easy. With the financing of rahn products, businesses around the village of Jatiarjo have increased, this is because the installments at KSPPS Kramat do not have usury. And the monthly installments are quite light, making it easier for the community to pay off the proposed financing. Keywords: KSPPS, Rahn Products, Income Increase.

Abstract This study aims to find out how the role of digital diplomacy in international communication activities is carried out by international actors, namely the state. The development of technology and information affects the formation of digital society in the current era of globalization and is the basis for changing conventional forms of diplomacy in the direction known as digital diplomacy used in various countries. This study uses qualitative research methods with the technique of collecting reference sources of literature studies and data sources from books, journals, websites and newspapers that are relevant to the topic of this research. The results of this study show the important role of digital diplomacy by various countries in the process of international communication to achieve the goals of national interests namely politics, economy, education and security. Digital diplomacy has become an effective and efficient international communication tool so that international actors have begun to develop and implement it in their various diplomatic policies and activities. The phenomenon of early marriage is a problem that often occurs and is considered normal by adolescents in Central Bengkulu district which is included in the category of the top three cases of early marriage in Bengkulu province in 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-concept of teenagers marrying young with peers in Kertapati village. Homecoming. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used is William Brooks (2017: 108), namely the factors that influence a person's self-concept. The results of the study show that the self-concept of adolescents who marry young with their peers is formed through their first view of themselves which assumes that they are ready to marry even though they are still young, this is evidenced by changes in attitudes that adjust their roles and status as married. Second, reactions and responses from other people can shape the self-concept of young married couples developing through the interaction of married couples with the community. The self-concept is formed from the learning process by understanding the reactions and responses of neighbors, village heads and BMA leaders so that married couples participate in socializing and participating in society. Third, the self-concept of young married couples formed from their roles as husband and wife in the household has an influence in the formation of a positive self-concept, this is also influenced by the role of parents, peers and the environment. So at first the self-concept of teenagers marrying young with peers is a negative self-concept, but it develops after marriage into a positive self-concept because they are able to solve their own problems and have participated in their environment.

<p><em>Waqf has a function of worship activities, namely by holding our assets to be used in the way of Allah SWT which gives rewards throughout the ages will also have a social function which after the principal of the property is withheld, developed then after being developed will provide results that can be used by the people. This research aims to provide education about the role of waqf in development as well as how the role of waqf for the welfare of the people. This research uses qualitative research methods, data collection techniques using secondary data and using literature study. The results of this study show that waqf has an important role in providing the welfare of the people and waqf also has an important role in developing the country, this is evidenced by the role of waqf in the fields of education, health, economy and finance, technology and agriculture, where these fields are the pillars of development national.</em></p>

Efectiveness of Sub-District Expansion in Improving Development. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sub-district expansion in increasing development in Central Insana District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Expansion of Subdistricts in Central Insana Subdistrict has been regulated in the Regional Regulation of North Central Timor Number 8 of 2007 with the aim of equitable development, optimizing the implementation of governance and shortening the range  of control of empowerment and community development services and accommodating aspirations that develop in the community. After 12 years running, the District Expansion policy has not shown a positive impact on the community, especially the development aspect. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that the policy of sub-district expansion in increasing development in Central Insana District was not yet effective, because of the weak role of the sub-district in providing services to the community. Budget limitations, inadequate transportation facilities and infrastructure and damaged road conditions, and a lack of active community participation in supporting the implementation of development in Central Insana Subdistrict, are classic reasons. Teaching novice qualitative researchers how to move beyond first-cycle themes is a challenging endeavor. In this essay, we articulate four harmful habits that tend to impede our success: moving too quickly, privileging product over process, providing cursory coverage of analytic technique and artistry, and overlooking the role of synthesis in qualitative research. As a step toward replacing harmful habits with more healthy ones, we offer a number of practical suggestions for reimagining the qualitative research methods curriculum.

One of the solutions proposed by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional is to form Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik which has the task of improving the quality of life of mustahik through its programs. So, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik Badan Amil Zakat Nasional in improving the economic welfare of mustahik. This study uses qualitative research methods that produce descriptive data. Where this research is based on observations made by the author and then explained according to what the author observed in the field. The data collection that the researchers did was using the method of observation, documentary interviews, and other data. When the data has been collected, the researcher conducts an analysis and then draws conclusions from the analysis. The results of this study are Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik BAZNAS plays a role in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and focuses on potential creative businesses, empowers by providing business development capital assistance, in accordance with the budget draft proposed by mustahik, and approved by LPEM BAZNAS. Abstract Abdul Hay Kurban Ali’s arrival in Japan in 1924 has a huge impact on the development of Islam and towards the Muslim community in Tokyo Japan. The migration of the Turkic Tatar Muslim to Japan resulting from the Russian Revolution un 1917 has cause several Islamic Associations to emerge in Japan. Abdul Hay Kurban Ali was the leader of one of this Islamic Association for the Muslim community representing the Turkic-Tatar Muslim in Japan under the name Mahalla Islamiya. With this, Abdul Hay Kurban Ali has carried the interests from each of the Islamic Association from the Muslim community in Japan to build education institution and mosque in Tokyo, Japan. As such, Abdul Hay Kurban Ali cooperate with Syeikh Abdul Rashid Ibrahim in creating good relationship between Turkey and Japan to ease the construction of education institution and mosque in Tokyo, Japan. This research is a qualitative research using the historical history design. This research used the documentation method through data collection that focus on sources under four themes which is historical background of Abdul Hay Kurban Ali, the arrival of Islam in Japan, the role of Da’wah by Abdul Hay Kurban Ali and his contributions in Tokyo, Japan. Meanwhile, the researcher use descriptive and historical methods in analysing the data and sources under the prescribed themes. The finding from the research showed that the four thematic analyses has given a clear and organized information. The role of Abdul Hay Kurban towards the development of Islam in Tokyo, Japan is very significant for the Da’wah aspect towards the Japanese community, the Islamic Association of the Muslim community and the construction of education institution and mosque. Penghijrahan komuniti Muslim Turki Tatar ke Jepun akibat revolusi Rusia pada tahun 1917 telah menyebabkan wujudnya beberapa persatuan-persatuan Islam di Jepun. Abdul Hay Kurban Ali telah mengetuai salah satu daripada persatuan komuniti Muslim bagi bangsa Turki-Tatar di Jepun, Mahalla Islamiya. Menerusi hal ini, Abdul Hay Kurban Ali telah membawa hasrat daripada setiap persatuan-persatuan komuniti Muslim di Jepun untuk membina institusi pendidikan dan masjid di Tokyo, Jepun. Oleh itu, Abdul Hay Kurban Ali bekerjasama dengan Syeikh Abdul Rashid Ibrahim untuk mengadakan hubungan baik bersama kerajaan Turki dan Jepun bagi memudahkan pembinaan institusi pendidikan dan masjid di Tokyo, Jepun. Kajian Ini merupakan kajian berbentuk kualitatif dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian sejarah. Kajian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi melalui pengumpulan data dengan menfokuskan pada sumber-sumber yang berkaitan empat tema iaitu, sejarah latar belakang Abdul Hay Kurban Ali, kedatangan Islam di Jepun, peranan dakwah Abdul Hay Kurban Ali dan sumbangan beliau di Tokyo, Jepun. Manakala pengkaji menggunakan metode deskriptif dan metode sejarah untuk menganalisis data-data dan sumber-sumber menerusi tema yang ditetapkan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa sumber-sumber menerusi empat tematik yang dikaji oleh pengkaji telah memberikan maklumat yang tersusun dan jelas. Peranan Abdul Hay Kurban Ali terhadap perkembangan Islam di Tokyo, Jepun amat besar jasanya dari aspek dakwah kepada komuniti Jepun, penyatuan persatuan-persatuan komuniti Muslim dan pembinaan institusi pendidikan dan masjid.
