Nowadays, society perspective about vintage fashion as old-fashioned can be changed. This study aims to discuss the alteration perspective of society about vintage fashion. This discussion is conducted to see the other side of vintage fashion. This research is different from other fashion studies because it wants to show how to view the value of a fashion not in general way, especially using deconstruction approach. This study used qualitative methods in the form of interviews to get the data. The interviewees of this research were four young women who like to follow fashion development through social media. Their opinions are used as society representatives about vintage fashion. It will be connected with the theory of deconstruction like 'Differance.' In this case, people's perspective on vintage fashion changes due to the influence of influencers from various social media so that vintage fashion can be juxtaposed with modern style today. Therefore, vintage can get an identity as nowadays's clothes.

Private military and security companies (PMSCs) have an image problem. They are frequently called ‘mercenaries’ or ‘dogs of war’, due to recurring scandals involving some of these companies, such as human rights violations, fraud and waste. Scholars have analysed the strategies that PMSCs use to distance themselves from such negative labels and to boost their image by studying the companies’ websites and advertisements. What is missing so far, however, is an analysis of how PMSCs use social media networking sites in order to present themselves in a positive light. In this article, the authors contribute to filling this gap. Based on assumptions generated with the help of literature on PMSCs, on the one hand, and on business communication and social media, on the other, they analysed the Twitter accounts of 58 PMSCs by using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Their findings suggest that PMSCs use Twitter similar to more generic companies: (1) to promote their own services and products, and (2) to monitor what others say about them. However, Twitter also serves a further purpose for PMSCs not acknowledged thus far. It helps to distract from what these companies are actually doing. Rather than engaging in more or less similar strategies as the literature on corporations’ social media use conveys, the functions of different platforms appear to vary across industries. In the case of PMSCs, their particular use of Twitter can be attributed to the sensitive nature of the security services they provide.

Tulisan ini berupaya memaparkan keberhasilan upaya pencegahan radikalisme melalui program Pena Tasamuh berdasarkan pada pengalaman pribadi penulis sebagai peserta dalam program.[This article is a participatory research conducted by the author as one of the participants in training on moderate social media writing for Fatayat NU DIY cadres through the Pena Tasamuh program in collaboration with PW Fatayat NU DI Yogyakarta and AFSC. Social media and online literacy media as one of the strategic tools in the spread of radicalism must also be utilized as well as possible to prevent the spread of this understanding by countering the use of moderate content containing narratives of peace and respect for differences. On the other hand, female cadres of moderate Islamic organizations such as Fatayat NU have so far not maximized social media and online literacy to fight the movement of these radical groups. Given the importance of the Moderate Islamic movement through social media and online literacy, Fatayat NU DIY designed the Pena Tasamuh program that focuses on increasing the capacity of itsfemale cadresin the literacy field, especially to campaign for friendly Islam as an effort to prevent the spread of radicalism in society. The Pena Tasamuh program providestraining for Fatayat NU cadres in 5 City Districts (Bantul, Kulon Progo, Gunung Kidul, Sleman, and Yogyakarta City) to create social media content and online literacy that aims to balance the rise of social media content and Islamic online literacy which is dominated by by radical groups. Young women are important actors in this program because the role of women in a family or community is very large, including in the context of spreading moderate Islamic content. This paper seeks to describe the success of effortsto prevent radicalism through the Pena Tasamuh program based on the author’s personal experience as a participant in the program.]

Background: The relationship between suicidal thinking and adolescent dating violence has not been previously explored in a sample of adolescent abortion patients. Aims: This paper highlights a study where the relationship between dating violence and severity of suicidal thinking was examined in a sample of 120 young women ages 14–21 seeking to terminate an unintended pregnancy. Methods: The Multidimensional Adolescent Assessment Scale and the Conflict in Adolescent Relationships Scale was used to gather information about psychosocial problems and dating violence so that the relationship between the two problems could be examined, while controlling for the other psychosocial problems. Results: The results suggest that dating violence was related to severity of suicidal thinking, and that the magnitude of this relationship was moderated by the severity of problems with aggression. Conclusions: Specifically, as the severity of participant’s general problems with aggression increased, the magnitude of the relationship between dating violence and severity of suicidal thinking increased. Limitations of the study and implications for practice are discussed.

Arabic became a minority language in Israel in 1948, as a result of the Palestinian exodus from their land that year. Although it remains an official language, along with Hebrew, Israel has made continued attempts to marginalise Arabic on the one hand, and secutise it on the other. The book delves into these tensions and contradictions, exploring how language policy and language choice both reflect and challenge political identities of Arabs and Israelis. It combines qualitative methods not commonly used together in the study of Arabic in Israel, including ethnography, interviews with journalists and students, media discussions, and analysis of the production of knowledge on Arabic in Israeli academia.

Social media influencers-individuals who utilize various forms of network power on social networks occupy a unique identity space. On the one hand, their network power is often tied to their social identity as creators of engaging material. On the other hand, their ability to promote commercial products and services steps outside the traditionally distinct commercial–social, occupational–personal divides. In this work, the network morphologies of influencers are explored in relation to their delivery of sponsored and non-sponsored content. This article explores how the disclosure of content as ‘sponsored’ affects audience reception. We show how that the promotion of content on social media often generates higher levels of engagement and receptiveness amongst their audience despite the platform’s assumption of organic non-commercial relationships. We find that engagement levels are highest among smaller out-degree networks. Additionally, we demonstrate that sponsored content not only returns a higher level of engagement, but that the effect of sponsorship is relatively consistent across out-degree network sizes. In sum, we suggest that social media audiences are not sensitive to commercial sponsorship when tied to identity, as long as that performance is convincing and consistent.

The treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genitalia has long been one of the most important tasks of the gynecologist. With the development of surgery, surgical methods of treatment began to be applied: exudates were removed, the uterus and inflamed appendages were extirpated, etc.; but the danger of surgical intervention on the one hand, and on the other - the severe consequences of removal of organs such as ovaries, especially in young women - forced gynecologists to spend much effort in discovering and improving non-operative methods of treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genital parts. Among these methods, physical methods such as water, mud, light baths, massage, etc., as well as those related to electricity have long been prominent.
