Character figures are vital elements in a narrative story, especially with the presence of the characters in the story. Without the presence of characters with strong characterizations, a story in a comic will not be interesting to be read. This research will focus on how to design a comic character using the morphological forced connection transformation method. The final result of the research is a form of comic characters with a combined form of humans and animals where the process of making these characters can be a foothold for illustrators who want to make a character of a kind. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection methods carried out through a variety of literature studies, as well as tracing documentation data. The Matrix Manga Theory from Hiroyoshi Tsukamoto was used to give personality figures, the fundamental theory of Human Drawing from Andrew Loomis as a foothold to make anatomy. The final results of the study will be (1) New characters combined figures of humans and animals (2) drawing method to create characters using the morphological forced connection method.

This study aims to explore the forms of expression of pragmataik rejection in children aged 2—3  years. In addition, this study also aims to explain the factors that influence the acquisition of the language of the child so as to act pragmatic speech. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Qualitative descriptive method is a method that attempts to describe and interpret objects as they are. Data collection methods are carried out with several techniques, namely, see, record, and note. The results of this study indicate the existence of two forms of expression of rejection that is explicit and implicit. The form of exclusion is classified into nonverbal and declarative rejection. There are several forms of implicit refusal: implicit refusal by reason of, interrogative implicit refusal, alternative implicit rejection, implicit declarative rejection, implicit rejection with demand. In addition, the results of this study indicate a factor that affects the pragmatic ability of children 2—3 years, namely natural factors, cognitive development, socioeconomic, and family.

Indonesia is a country that has many regional languages. The diversity of regional languages is a characteristic of Indonesia. One of them is the Javanese language which is used by the Javanese people and has a variety of dialects. Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting research on the characteristics of the Javanese dialect of Blora in accordance with sociolinguistic studies that examines the relationship between language and its speaking community. This is similar to the writer aim to analysis the differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. The writer also analyzes the use of Javanese speech level used by the people of Blora. This is because there are still many people who do not know the geographical location of Blora City. In this study, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method and the data collection methods needed to analysis the data are simak method and cakap method. The analysis results showed that there are characteristics of the Blora dialect and there are differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. It can be concluded that the variations of the three dialects have different morphology, phonology, lexical and semantics. This is due to the diversity of dialect differences from the results of regional observations.

Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Langkah yang digunakanyaitu melakukan analisis data dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian pertama, berdasarkan matrik IE dalam strategi PML Yogyakarta yang digunakan pada pengelolaan musik liturgiberada pada posisi V yaitu hold and maintaind, (pertahankan dan pelihara). Strategi umumyang dipakai adalah menjaga dan mempertahankan posisi internal yaitu memiliki jaringankerja sama dengan komponis-komponis gereja lokal dalam menjalankan lokakarya mengenai musik liturgi yang selama ini sudah diraih. Kedua berdasarkan kuadran analisis SWOTpengelolaan PML Yogyakarta menunjukkan posisinya berada pada kuadran III. Stability,yaitu suatu lembaga menghadapi peluang pasar yang sangat besar, tetapi dilain pihakmenghadapi beberapa kendala dalam internal seperti regenerasi yang belum memadaisehingga masih bergantung pada figur pendiri, keterbatasan tenaga pengelola baik dari segikuantitas maupun kualitas, dan kegiatan lokakarya belum menjangkau semua budaya yang ada di nusantara. Ketiga berdasarkan analisis SWOT strategi umum yang diperoleh yaituadalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Posisi tersebut mengarah pada menambah karya musik atau nyanyian nusantara dalam musik liturgi dan memberikan penataran dalamsetiap tahun di gereja-gereja Katolik yang belum memahami tentang musik liturgi dalaminkulturasi dan memberikan pengetahuan dan penerjemah kepada pengelola sehingga cukup memadai. In this research using qualitative descriptive method, The step used is doing data analysis and SWOT analysis. The first result of the research, based on the matrix of IE in PML Yogyakarta strategy used in the management of liturgical music is in position V that is hold and maintaind. General strategy used is to maintain and maintain internal position that has a network of cooperation with composers the local church in running a workshop on liturgical music that has been achieved. The second is based on quadrant of SWOT analysis of PML Yogyakarta management showing its position is in quadrant III Stability, that is an institution facing huge market opportunity, but on the other hand facing some internal constraints such as regeneration that is not enough so that still depends on founder figure, both in terms of quantity and quality, and workshop activities have not yet reached all the cultures in the archipelago. Third based on the SWOT analysis the general strategies obtained are market penetration and product development. The position leads to; adding musical works or chants of the archipelago to liturgical music and giving up in every year catholic churches that have not understood the liturgical music in inculturation and providing knowledge and translators to the manager so that it is sufficient.

<pre><em>Implementation of Tri Hita Karana main goal is to realize a harmonious relationship between man and God, human with human and human with nature environment. Tri Hita Karana has been applied well by Hindu Transmigration society living in Nusa Agung Village of OKU Timur Regency of South Sumatera Province. To realize this harmonious relationship there must be a process or forms of activities implemented to realize harmony. So in this study there are three formulation of the problem to know the process or forms of activities that build harmony. (1) How to apply Tri Hita Karana to build harmony of Hindu transmigration society from Bali in Nusa Agung Village of East OKU Regency of South Sumatera Province, (2) How to apply Tri Hita Karana to build harmony of Balinese Hindu transmigration community in Nusa Agung Regency OKU East of South Sumatera Province and (3) What is the philosophical meaning contained in the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in establishing the harmony of Hindu transmigration society from Bali in Nusa Agung Village OKU Timur Regency of South Sumatera Province.</em><em></em></pre><pre><em>The theory used in this study to discuss the formulation of the problem is (1) Symbolic Interactionism Theory to dissect the problem about how Tri Hita Karana application form. (2) Structural Functional Theory to dissect the problem about how the function of Tri Hita Karana implementation. (3) Theory of Meaning to dissect the problem of what philosophical meaning is contained in the application of Tri Hita Karana. The method used in this research is the method of informants, data collection methods, data analysis methods and methods of presentation. The method of determining informants using Porposive sampling technique, data collection method using method; Obsevation, interviews, literature and documentation. Methods of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and the type of research is qualitative.</em><em></em></pre><pre><em>The results obtained in this study are (1) the form of Tri Hita Karana implementation in establishing the harmony of the Hindu transmigration community from Bali in Nusa Agung Village divided into several forms, namely; Form of ritual, form, form of marriage, form of work, form of gotong royong and form of agriculture. (2) the function of Tri Hita Karana implementation in establishing the harmony of Hindu transmigration community from Bali in Nusa Agung village divided into three functions, namely; Religious functions, social functions and economic functions. (3) philosophical meaning contained in the application of Tri Hita Karana in establishing harmony of Hindu transmigration society from Bali in Nusa Agung village divided into three meanings, namely; The nature of human relationships with God, the nature of human relationships with humans and the nature of human relationships with the natural environment.</em><em></em></pre>

AbstrakKomik Jepang menjadi salah satu kiblat untuk referensi dalam membuat komik khususnya komik manga. Tidak sedikit komik Indonesia yang sangat kental dengan unsur manga hingga sulit membedakan komikus Jepang dengan komikus Indonesia bila hanya di lihat dari bentuk visualnya. Selain menggarap style gambar manga jepang, tak sedikit komikus-komikus Indonesia yang menghibridakan karakteristik pada desain karakter visual Indonesia. Sepeti pada salah satu komik Indonesia yaitu komik 7 Wonders. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui identitas dari desain karakter visual yang di hibrida pada salah satu komik Indonesia yaitu komik 7 Wonders. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan menguraikan masing-masing objek yang akan diteliti. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter yang memiliki unsur hibrida paling menonjol adalah pada karakter bidadari 7 Wonders. Desain karakter visual pada karakter tujuh bidadari 7 Wonders telah mengalami deformasi dan pengabungan dua atau lebih identitas visual, baik pada busana maupun pada karakter figurnya. Identitas hibrida pada desain karakter visual yang digunakan di busana tujuh bidadari 7 Wonders yaitu berasal dari Indonesia, Jepang, Arab, Turki, India, Inggris era Victoria dan Romawi Kuno.Kata Kunci: desain karakter, hibrida, komik, busana.AbstractJapanese comics become one of the mecca for reference in making comics, especially manga comics. Not a few Indonesian comics are so thick with manga elements that it is difficult to distinguish Japanese comics from Indonesian comics if only viewed from their visual form. In addition to working on the style of Japanese manga drawings, not a few Indonesian comic artists have displayed characteristics on Indonesian visual character designs. A case in one of the Indonesian comics that is 7 Wonders comics. This study aims to determine the identity of a hybrid visual character design in one of the Indonesian comics, namely the 7 Wonders comics. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method approach that is by describing each object to be studied. The findings of this study indicate that the characters that have the most prominent hybrid elements are the 7 Wonders angel characters. The visual character design of the seven Wonders 7 nymphs has been deformed and the combination of two or more visual identities, both in fashion and in the character figure. The hybrid identity in the visual character design used in the fashion of the seven Wonders 7 nymphs is originating from Indonesia, Japan, Arabia, Turkey, India, the Victorian era and Ancient Rome.  Keywords: character design, hybrids, comics, clothing

This thesis discusses the relationship between the ability of memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim and the easeness of Arabic learning for female students at STIBA Makassar. The main objectives of this research were threefolds: 1. To understand the female students’ ability in memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim at STIBA Makassar, 2. To understand the processes of the Arabic learning and the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization activities of female students at STIBA Makassar, 3. To investigate the relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization ability and the easiness of Arabic learning for female students at STIBA Makassar. The researcher completed this study by using a qualitative descriptive method with a semi-quantitative approach. The data collection methods used in this research were personal interviews and accurate observations on the students’ learning process. The data of students’ academic assessments who were successful in one semester were collected and analysed. The quantitative data were also collected in this research from the answers of students through compatibility approach.  From this research, it was apparent that the methods used by the teachers and students in memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim was considered to be very good. In terms of the relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization and Arabic learning, 100% of teachers and 97.9% of female students at STIBA Makassar were in agreement that there is a strong and close relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization and Arabic learning. In this case, the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization could assist students to understand the Arabic language and context and to pronounce the Arabic words and letters contained in the verses of the Al-Qur'an al-kariim. Besides, the non-Arabic Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorizers are able to learn Arabic easily because by memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim, a memorizer applies and practices various aspects that could better their Arabic such as the four language skills, the Arabic elements, and the contexts of religious lessons and understandings.

This study aims to describe the ecolexicon treasures which represent the scope of Lake Toba. The ecolinguistic theory is used in this study. The data in this study are lexicons related to the scope of siltation. Data collection methods used are interview and observation methods. The analysis used a qualitative descriptive method. The results revealed 29 lexica related to the silt environment with three categories of ecolexicon entities namely flora ecolexicon, fauna ecolexicon, and fishing gear ecolexicon. The lexicon category consists of nouns and verbs. There are lexicon forms that are basic, derivative forms in the form of repeated words, and compound words. This study aims to design and build an Information System Web-based Inventory of Goods at Buer 1 Junior High School in order to help part of the inventory of goods in borrowing goods, information on the condition of the goods, numbering of goods and data collection of transactions from the purchase of goods. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method and data collection methods used in this study, namely the method of observation and interviews and using the Waterfall method as a method of software development. Information Based Inventory Information System Web at 1 Buer Public Middle School was built using Sublime Text language PHP programming and MySql database. Ketapang is a village in Limau sub-district, Tanggamus district, Lampung province, Indonesia, inhabited by Sundanese speakers. This condition contributes to the variation of Arabic pronunciation, causing irregularities or difficulties known as disturbances. Linguistic phenomenon as a form of language development, something important happens in Arabic. This research was to study phonological interference forms in Sundanese. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection methods through interviews, observations and hearing that comes to the speech of the Ketapang community. The results showed several changes in the phonological change phenomenon, namely phoneme changes and word changes. This study contributes to the knowledge of language development that occurs from phonological disorders in Sundanese to Arabic, thus providing a great deal of knowledge about Arabic linguistic studies.

Trade is an activity with the hope of being able to trigger the movement of the community's economy and have an impact on people's welfare. But the Barabai Modern Traditional Market has not been able to provide convenience for buyers to transact and the arrangement of traders is still chaotic because there is no orderly place to trade. Control of Barabai Modern Traditional Market aims to provide convenience in buying and selling transactions at Barabai Modern Traditional Market. The factors causing this disorder are 1) lack of public awareness 2) unclear arrangements and 3) inadequate facilities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach, for data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, this study uses implementation theory from Merilee S. Grindle. The results of this study indicate that the enforcement of Barabai Modern Traditional Market has not been good with the inhibiting factor is the lack of public awareness to maintain order, the absence of decisive action and the facilities of the Barabai Modern Traditional Market. As for the socialization efforts and appeals to the community. Suggestions for the implementation of modern barabai traditional market control are in the form of making SOPs for controlling the modern barabai traditional market.
