The high prevalence of stunting has prompted the government to take preventive measures. One of them is the priority program for convergence to prevent stunting in villages through the Ministry of Village Regulation, Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration Number 11 of 2019 concerning Priority for the Use of Village Funds 2020. This regulation was followed up by the formation of a Human Development Cadre (KPM) to carry out convergence activities for preventing stunting with 1 cadre of 1 village. The problem that occurs is the lack of provision for convergence activities for KPM. This community service activity aims to provide assistance to KPM in making proposals for convergence activities. This activity was carried out in Poso Pesisir District, Poso Regency in February 2020. The target audience was 13 KPM people and 13 village midwives. In this KPM mentoring activity, village cadres and midwives succeeded in making proposals for convergence activities to prevent stunting in the village. It is hoped that the village government will follow up the proposals for convergence activities to prevent stunting into village meetings and it is agreed to be budgeted for 2021.

The implementation of community service activities in Watusipi Village was motivated by decreased community income during the pandemic period and the absence of creative efforts by the community to utilize the potential of human and natural resources in the village. It is hoped that the implementation of the KKN Mandiri for a month will provide assistance and build togetherness with village officials and the community to build creative business opportunities that can be done to improve the economic life of the community. One of the superior products of Watusipi village is coconut, so this service activity will be divided into two sub-activities, namely assistance in making coconut chips and assistance in marketing of coconut chips products. This assistance was carried out for three weeks with the target being mothers who are members of the Dasawisma. The assistance in the management of Village-Owned Enterprises aims to provide input on constraints faced by the village government to achieve the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) that have not been optimal. In accordance with law No. 6 of 2014, that villages are given the authority to carry out the administration of government in accordance with the interests of the village community. Village authority has been granted based on village propositions which cover government affairs provided by the district / city that have been submitted to the village. Villages have an obligation to provide governance that aims to prosper their society. In order to achieve this, the Village Original Income (PADes) was also supported to strengthen the village economy, through strengthening BUMDes that sided with the institution in optimizing Village Original Income. Inaccessibility of Village Original Income (PADes) occurs due to the lack of role of BUMDes. It also has an impact on society in strengthening the economy of the community. This is what happened in Penyengat Olak Village, jambi sub-district outside the city of Muaro Jambi district, which caused it to be unable to be independent in various aspects. Therefore, the existence of socialization in community service is expected to provide a better impact and solutions in solving the problems that occur and aim to explore the potential of the village in the context of sustainable community empowerment.
