The Impact

Youth Mentoring is the process of matching mentors with young people who need or want a caring responsible adult in their lives. It is defined as an on-going relationship between a caring adult and a young person which is required for self-development, professional growth and carrier development of the mentee and mentors both and all this must be placed within a specific institution context. The purpose of this article is to quantitatively review the three major areas of mentoring research (youth, academic, and workplace) to determine the overall effect size associated with mentoring outcomes for students.

Responsibility is one of the main characteristics of a mature person. In the 21st century, in the era of increasing infantilism, one of the important areas in modern psychology and pedagogy is the problem of responsibility formation and development in adolescents and young people. There are various hypotheses about the emergence of infantile and irresponsible behavior and their manifestations in childhood and adulthood. The strength of society is the strength of the individuals who make it up, so in modern science it is important to identify the causes of social infantilism and introduce technologies for its prevention and correction. Based on the theoretical analysis, the paper examines the dominant symptoms of the infantilism development (irresponsibility, mental discomfort, loneliness, sexual behavior violation, narcissism and gender chauvinism) and their manifestations in different age periods. The forms of irresponsibility in adolescents and the causes of their occurrence in different age periods are presented in detail. According to the author, the main reasons for infantilism development in adolescent and youth environment are: 1) the lack of collective education and the low influence of teachers, psychologists and educational environment in general on the individual’s development; 2) a pronounced style of pedagogy of freedom, provoking selfishness development; 3) delegation of responsibility for education exclusively to the family in the absence of psychological and pedagogical support for family relations; 4) deformation of the family relations model against the background of falling birth rates, shifting gender roles and family values. For the prevention and correction of infantilism among adolescents and young people, specialists in the sphere of modern education need to conduct systematic diagnostic work with the family and pay close attention to the introduction of practical technologies for the prevention of irresponsible behavior among younger schoolchildren and adolescents. In addition, it is necessary to introduce psychological and pedagogical education of the younger generation on the issues of individual self-development, self-education and self-realization.

The article considers the process of adaptation of young people in the labour market. It has been determined that the main adaptation barriers for young people in the modern Ukrainian labour market are: low competitiveness; lack of the majority of young people with the necessary knowledge and skills for self-determination in the labour market, career development, negotiating with employers on employment issues; inconsistency of the professional qualification structure of youth with the needs of the economy and the available vacancies; lack of a mechanism to ensure the relationship between the labour market and the market of educational services; backwardness of personnel policy of most organizations, focused mainly on achieving current results, rather than on long-term development. It is analyzed that the successful adaptation ends, as a rule, with stable employment, adoption of laws of the labour market functioning. Violations of young people's adaptation in the labour market can have serious consequences, the main of which are chronic unemployment of large groups of young people, negative impact on socio-psychological development of young people, frustration at work as a means of personal self-realization.

Abstract: Young people participation would be runs to the maximum by being given the opportunity and place to be creative carried out as volunteers. The experience and learning process of working both online and offline voluntarily can increase the knowledge, practical skills, and experience of every volunteer. Qualitative research with an ethnographic approach is implemented to find the context and social interactions that occur between volunteers and the environment in which they are active. Основной целью современного учителя должен быть выбор таких инновационных методов и форм организации учебной деятельности учащихся, которые будут направлены на всестороннее творческое развитие личности. Это включает не только новые технические средства, а также новые формы и методы преподавания, новый подход к организации процесса обучения и общения между участниками образовательного процесса. Обновленное образование должно основываться на входе в инновационный режим работы и профессионализации педагогов, его творческом самоопределении, направленности на самообразование, саморазвитие и самосовершенствование. Только неравнодушие педагога к познанию и использованию в своей деятельности нововведений будет способствовать воспитанию успешной личности. Стратегические направления развития образования, определенные в рамках реализации государственных программ и национальных проектов, определяют формирование интеллектуального и культурного потенциала нации путем обеспечения постоянного духовного самосовершенствования личности. Трансформационные процессы в образовании предусматривают развитие творческой, инициативной стороны человека, который способен не только к трансляции знаний, но и готов создавать новые мировые образцы культуры и духовности, новых интересные навыки. Today, the focus should be on the personality of the scientist, her unique inner world. The main goal of the modern teacher should be to choose such innovative methods and forms of organizing the educational activities of students, which will be aimed at the comprehensive creative development of the person. This includes not only new technical means, but also new forms and methods of teaching, a new approach to organizing the learning process and communication between participants in the educational process. Renewed education should be based on entering the innovative mode of work and professionalization of teachers, their creative self-determination, focus on self-education, self-development and self-improvement. Only the teacher's indifference to knowledge and the use of innovations in his activities will contribute to the education of a successful person. The strategic directions for the development of education, defined within the framework of the implementation of state programs and national projects, determine the formation of the intellectual and cultural potential of the nation by ensuring the constant spiritual improvement of the person. Transformational processes in education provide for the development of the creative, initiative side of a person who is able not only to translate knowledge, but also ready to create new world models of culture and spirituality, new interesting skills.

In the article the analysis of results of research of process of professional self-determination of school’s young people is conducted. The condition of professional self-determination of school’s young people changes from a stage to a stage and represents the difficult formation inherent in the certain age period. Changes in consciousness of the person concerning a choice of sphere of professional work become result of process of professional self-determination. These changes pass gradually and during process conduct the person to formation of its professional interests, requirements, and, finally, to a conscious choice of profession.

The article discusses the concept of a professional test, its essence and features of organizing profes-sional tests as an effective way of professional self-determination of young people in public organiza-tions club type at the place of residence. The author investigated the issues vocational guidance work among adolescents through professional trials, the types, forms and results of passing professional tests are considered. Today, the Government of the Russian Federation is developing and implementing measures to create a favorable environment for the stable formation of the sphere additional education of children, because it is this sector of educational activities contributes to the professional definition of adolescents and represented by various organizations, including not the last place assigned to public organizations of the club type at the place of residence. Demand for the participation of children's clubs in the additional education of children caused by the recently complicating situation with the socio-cultural raising children and young people in the amid of growing concern of parents and teachers by creating a safe environment for the pastime of adolescents. A modern public organization of a club type at the place of residence acts a voluntary community of children and adolescents who are united by a common activity according to interests, and contributes to their professional self-determination and self-realization. The purpose of this work is to identify the features activities of organizations in the field of additional education for children in the process self-determination in adolescence and considering an effective way professional self-determination of young people with the help of professional tests. Research of issues of vocational guidance work of organizations in the sphere additional education of children and their role in professional self-determination adolescents was carried out on the basis of works by Russian authors, researching work in the field of additional education for children and sociological aspects of the professional self-determination role of the individual for the choice of the future profession [1-3]. The study made it possible to formulate conclusions about the demand for organizations in the field of additional education for children in the process of professional self-determination and organization of professional tests.

In a context of ongoing colonization and dispossession in Australia, many Aboriginal people live with experiences of health research that is done “on” rather than “with” or “by” them. Recognizing the agency of young people and contributing to Aboriginal self-determination and community control of research, we used a peer research methodology involving Aboriginal young people as researchers, advisors, and participants in a qualitative sexual health study in one remote setting in the Northern Territory, Australia. We document the methodology, while critically reflecting on its benefits and limitations as a decolonizing method. Findings confirm the importance of enabling Aboriginal young people to play a central role in research with other young people about their own sexual health. Future priorities include developing more enduring forms of coinvestigation with Aboriginal young people beyond data collection during single studies, and support for young researchers to gain formal qualifications to enhance future employability.

We consider the process of self-development of student youth in the context of the functioning of student scientific society, which is a space for self-identification, self-determination and self-development of youth in the structure of civil society. The basic mechanisms of self-development are revealed: self-understanding, self-awareness, self-determination, self-government, self-improvement and self-realization. It is noted that they are all interconnected and interact with each other, their consistent implementation forms a kind of algorithm for moving to higher forms of self-improvement. The characteristic is given to the principles under which the social and cultural conditions for students’ self-development will be most vividly realized (subjectivity, motivational orientation of self-development, effectiveness of cultural activity, facilitation, focus, coherence, consistency and continuity in the content of the educational process, the connection of upbringing with life, the democracy of the upbringing system, interactivity, individualization, differentiation and tolerance of the education system, integrity and structure, variability and competitiveness of the activity of self-developing personality). Particular attention is paid to social and cultural activities, which are aimed at self-realization of the personality, self-development of personal spiritual and physical potential of students. Personal self-development connected with integration into the internal and external activities of the individual for self-designing and self-creation at the level of self-awareness, motivational, value and emotional spheres, behavior in accordance with the requirements of the social and normative space and the tasks of research, social organizational and social and cultural activities of student scientific society.
