The number of female students in Division (A) included (45) (B) and the number of female students (45) control group. The study found a statistically significant difference between the arithmetical averages of the female students in both groups (experimental and control) on the communication skills development test. Experimental. There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the female students in both groups (experimental and control) on the test of the development of imagination skills, where the experiment obtained a general average (21.78), while the control obtained an average of 21.53). A random sample of passages was drawn from standardized reading comprehension tests for fourth grade students. The number and types of language patterns found in the test passages were determined through a method of linguistic analysis. The patterns identified on the tests did not reflect the patterns used most frequently in the oral language of fourth grade children. When the test passages were rewritten using a larger percentage of high frequency oral language patterns, and administered to comparable groups of students, no significant difference in comprehension performance was observed between those students taking the revised test and those taking the intact standardized test passages.

In Indonesia, 93.5% of the population aged ≥10 years still consume less fruits and vegetables 5 servings per day for 7 days a week (RISKESDAS, 2013).  The preliminary study conducted at SDN Mekarjaya I shows that the level of knowledge of school children about vegetables and fruits by 60% is still low and 93.3% of vegetable and fruit consumption is still lacking. In addition, SDN Mekarjaya I has never been used as a place of prior research. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the knowledge of fruit vegetables in the fourth grade students of SDN Mekarjaya I. One of them is by doing counseling with the media of puzzle game. This research was conducted to know the increase of knowledge about vegetables and fruits before and after given counseling with puzzle game media in fourth grade students of SDN Mekarjaya I. This research was conducted by Pre-exsperiment method using "One group pretest and posttest" research design. Sampling by purposive sampling is 66 people. The statistical test used is paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis shows that there is a significant difference of knowledge where p-value 0.000 or p <0,05 means there is a meaningful difference between before and after given counseling with puzzle game media. This puzzle game media can be developed by the teachers as a medium of learning in the classroom so that students are more motivated in following the learning process and make students do not feel bored

AbstractBackgroundSex dialogue is one of the most critical and challenging topics between mothers and adolescents. The knowledge and skills of mothers in sex dialogue with their daughters are essential. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of group counseling based on communication skills on mothers through their sex dialogue with their daughters.MethodsA randomized controlled field trial was conducted on 168 couples of mothers and their daughters selected by the stratified matching method and randomly divided into two control and intervention groups. The mothers in the intervention group participated in a communication-based consultation in groups consisting of 6–12 people for 6–7 weekly sessions, each one lasting 60 min. The data collection tool was a Persian-translated questionnaire by Jaccard for sex dialogue between mother and daughter. The data were analyzed using Chi-square (χ2), ANOVA with repeated measures and modified post hoc Bonferroni tests.ResultsThere was a significant difference in the mean score of mother-daughter sex dialogue 1 week after intervention between the intervention (34.48 ± 8.74) and control (40.44 ± 9.49) groups (p = 0.001) and 1 month after the intervention between the intervention (30.41 ± 10.07) and control (42.47 ± 9.62) groups (p < 0.001).ConclusionThrough applying communication skills, an increase in mother-daughter sex dialogue frequency was observed after group counseling. Therefore, it is suggested to promote mother-daughter communication skills by accessing the mothers via schools, health centers and with the aid of midwifery counselors, midwives and other trained caretakers.
