Laboratory activities are important of science learning at any level. At the elementary school lab work needs to be done in the context of daily life in order to training scientific literacy. This study aims to determine how the teacher's perspective on science teaching in primary schools in Sukabumi, West Java in the academic year 2015/2016. Research methods such as survey, data analysis quantitatively and qualitatively. Data collection  used is a kuosioner sheet and interview guides to explore the teacher's perspective grade 4 and 5 primary school in implementing and understanding the context-based practicum. The results  showed all the teachers (100%) stated the laboratory activities is important to be implemented, but most of the teachers (75%) stated the laboratory activities difficult to implemented. Teachers argued do not understand the practicum as an activity that can be done simply based on the context of everyday life in an effort to train science literacy (97%). The results of the elementary teacher's perspective is able to provide precise information about the condition of learning science as a material improvement regarding practical learning becomes more meaningful. Keywords: practical laboratory, context, Scientific Literacy

Several previous studies have shown that students have difficulty integrating ethnoscience into science learning. Students are more likely to be introduced to the basic concepts of ethnoscience without involving how to integrate ethnoscience into science learning. The impact is that students’ scientific literacy is low. This is what underlies researchers to apply the Local Wisdom Integrated Science (LWIS) learning model by using local Madurese content to train students’ scientific literacy. The aim of this study was to evaluate differences in student scientific literacy after implementing the LWIS learning model in ethnoscience learning with local Madurese content. The method used was pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. When the study was carried out in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year by taking 22 students via purposive sampling technique as a sample of all students in class 6A of science education, Trunojoyo University, Madura. Analysis of data using descriptive statistics and paired sample t test. The results showed that there were different in the scientific literacy of the students using the LWIS learning model before and after studying ethnoscience with local Madurese material. The entire LWIS syntax helps train students' scientific literacy by including self-awareness of the importance of local Madurese content as a learning context. Ethnoscience can be integrated into science learning through the STEAM approach. The contribution of STEAM to the LWIS learning model and self-awareness is very significant in developing ethnoscience learning for local Madurese content from elementary, middle, and tertiary level.

This study emphasizes the importance of teaching materials to improve the culture of scientific literacy in science learning through encyclopedia books. The culture of scientific literacy plays an important role in dealing with everyday life in society, participating in various science-related issues that are complex and greatly affect our view of the world and the place of humans in it and the need for a scientifically literate workforce is thought to be improved through teaching materials encyclopedia. Thus, there is scientific literacy between students, and between teachers and students through a teaching material tailored to student interests which aims to create a culture of scientific literacy. The purpose of this study was to obtain a product and determine the learning outcomes of fifth grade students after using encyclopedia teaching materials. The quantitative method through the pre-test and post-test used in this approach is data collection by means of data collection, planning, product development and validation and testing stages. This research was conducted in 3 elementary schools in West Jakarta, namely SDN Sukabumi Utara 07, SDN Sukabumi Utara 08 and SDN Sukabumi 09. The object developed was Science in grade V SD which was developed in the form of encyclopedia teaching materials.

This study started from the problems that the author finds in class VIII-L SMP Negeri 29 Bandung where most students have not shown the character of social care. They are less concerned about others seen from behavior, such as: lack of respect to others, and less attention to the teachers and other students. Students seem individualistic and annoy or taunt their classmates with harsh words. From these findings, the author chose to do classroom action research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart model. Data analysis technique is qualitative and quantitative. In this study, the author makes observation as much as three cycles. In this study,value clarification technique (VCT) learning model is chosen to guide students to understand, clarify, and implement social care values in daily life including at class. In attempt to improve the students social care character, the author selects five indicators adjusted to the problems found at class. Based on the study that has been conducted, the result is obtained that: first, the planning that has been prepared by the author works well; second, the implementation of the VCT learning model is conducted three cycles with one action in the cycles 1 and 2 and two actions in cycle 3; third, it reflects the obstacles experienced by each cycle; fourth, the results obtained after implementing the VCT model to cycle 3 show that the students social care character has increased.

Learning science is a learning done in Elementary School (ES). During this time, science learning is still felt difficult by most teachers and prospective ES teachers. These difficulties include difficulty in designing learning. These difficulties affect the readiness and ability of teachers in implementing learning in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to analyze the difficulties experienced by the PGSD study program in terms of planning science learning in ES. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method. The population of this research is the students of PGSD IKIP Siliwangi who take the course of Learning Planning in ES as many as 50 students. The sampling method used purposive sampling technique, which is apprentice applicant 1 who get the learning planning in ES as much as 25 students. The data collected were questionnaire and data analysis using mode. The results showed that the sequence of the most difficult steps to the easiest in planning science teacher candidate elementary as follows: 1). Mapping SK / KD and indicators; 2). Determining indicators; 3). Determining effective weeks; 4). Arrange syllabus; 5). Establish an assessment; 6). Preparing RPP; 7). Prepare teaching materials.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class V at SDN 3 KAWO, while the samples were students of class VA as the experimental class and students of class VB as the control class. Data analysis begins with a normality test using the One-Sample Kolmogrov Smirnov formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and continues with a homogeneity test further testing the research hypothesis and further testing with a gain-score test. Then the motivational data and learning outcomes were analyzed by Independent t-test. Samples Test to determine the research hypothesis, the results of data analysis obtained a t-count value of 3,241 while the t-table at a significance level of 5% was 2,048 so that the t-count value> t-table, which means that Ha, which states there is an effect of application pop-up book learning media on science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year, was accepted and H0 rejected. And the obtained t-count is 2.209 while the t-table at the 5% significance level is 2.048 so that the t-count value is >t-table, which means that Ha which states that there is an effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on participants' science learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 3 KAWO for the academic year 2020/2021, were accepted and H0 was rejected. Then a follow-up test was carried out using gain-score test, the value of learning motivation is 0.403 which is included in the medium category, while the learning outcomes of 0.576 are included in the medium category.

The purpose of this research is to know the increasing of student’s motivation and nutrition science learning achievement at second semester Grade X students of SMK N 2 Singaraja Academic Year 2016/2017 after applied the model of Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this classroom action research are the second semester students of Class X of Tata Boga 5 SMK N 2 Singaraja academic year 2016/2017 which amounts of 41 students. While the object is motivation and student learning achievement. Students' motivational data were collected with observation sheets, while student learning achievement were collected with multiple choice tests. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive data analysis. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the TPS type cooperative learning model can effectively improve the motivation and learning achievement of Nutrition science at second semester grade X students 5 SMK N 2 Singaraja academic year of 2016/2017. This is evident from the average improvement in student learning motivation in cycle I of 22.10 to 25.22 in cycle II. Classical completeness in cycle I of 82.93 increased to 95.12 in cycle II. While the average increase in student learning results in cycle I was 24.32 increased to 30.41 in cycle II. Classical completeness at cycle I of 78.05 increased to 100 in cycle II

ABSTRAKBelajar merupakan suatu kegiatan kreatif. Belajar bukan berarti hanya menyerap tetapi juga mengkonstruk pengetahuan. Belajar IPA Fisika akan optimal jika siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam membuat, bukan hanya strategi penyelesaian, tetapi juga masalah yang membutuhkan strategi tersebut.Menurut Upu ( 2003:10 ) Problem Possing dapat dilakukan secara individu atau kalsikal ( classical ), berpasangan ( in pairs ), atau secara berkelompok( groups ). Masalah atau soal yang diajukan oleh siswa secara individu tidak memuat intervensi dari siswa ini. hal ini dapat mengakibatkan soal kurang berkembang atau kandungan informasinya kurang lengkap. Soal yang diajukan secara berpasangan dapat lebih berbobot dibanding soal yang diajukan secara individu, dengan syarat terjadi kolaborasi di antara kedua siswa yang berpasangan tersebut. Jika soal dirumuskan oleh suatu kelompok kecil ( tim ), maka kualitasnya akan lebih baik dari aspek tingkat keterselesaian maupun kandungan informasinya. Kerjasama diantara siswa dapat memacu kreativitas serta saling melengkapi kekurangan mereka.Pada pembelajaran kooperatif, siswa dibagi kedalam kelompok-kelompok kecil yang heterogen. Mereka akan bekerja sebagai sebuah tim untuk memahami materi pelajaran dan meyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu penulis perlu melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan judul Peningkatkan Prestasi Belajar IPA Fisika dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Problem  Possing  dengan Latar Pembelajaran Kooperatif Kelas XI-ADM.A SMK Negeri 1 NarmadaTahun Pelajaran 2017-2018. Kata Kunci: problem possing; cooperative learning; prestasi belajar. ABSTRACTLearning is a creative activity. Learning does not mean only absorbing but also constructing knowledge. Learning Science Physics will be optimal if students are actively involved in making, not only solving strategies, but also problems that require these strategies. According to Upu (2003:10) Problem Possing can be done individually or classically (classical), in pairs (in pairs), or in groups (groups). Problems or questions posed by students individually do not contain intervention from these students. this can result in less developed questions or incomplete information content. Questions posed in pairs can be more weighty than questions posed individually, provided that there is collaboration between the two students in pairs. If the questions are formulated by a small group (team), then the quality will be better in terms of the level of completion and information content. Cooperation among students can stimulate creativity and complement each other's shortcomings. In cooperative learning, students are divided into small, heterogeneous groups. They will work as a team to understand the subject matter and complete the assigned tasks. Therefore, the authors need to conduct classroom action research with the title Improving Physics Science Learning Achievement by Using a Problem Possing Approach with a Cooperative Learning Background for Class XI-ADM.A SMK Negeri 1 Narmada for the 2017-2018 academic year. Keywords: problem possing; cooperative learning; learning achievement.

ABSTRAKMayoritas guru IPA Fisika saat ini masih menggunakan cara-cara konvensional dalam pembelajaran IPA Fisika. Pendekatan pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kelebihan dan pendekatan ini adalah dapat mengajarkan materi yang relatif banyak dalam waktu yang singkat, tetapi pembelajaran ini memperlakukan siswa hanya sebagai objek sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan hanya menerima pengetahuan dari gurunya saja. Pembelajaran konvensional hanya menyajikan materi IPA Fisika secara tekstual sehingga siswa kesulitan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA Fisika dibutuhkan pembelajaran yang merangsang siswa untuk melakukan pengamatan, penyelidikan serta mengolah informasi sehingga pada akhirnya siswa dapat memahami konsep secara bermakna. Pembelajaran yang menekankan keaktifan siswa dan berpusat pada siswa merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran IPA Fisika.Salah satu proses pembelajaran yang sesuai adalah pembelajaran Cooperative Learning.Oleh karena itu penulis perlumelakukan penelitian tindakan dengan judul Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar IPA Fisika dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Kelas XI TKR SMK Negeri 1 Narmada  Kab.Lombok Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 Kata kunci: problem possing; cooperative learning; prestasi belajar. ABSTRACTThe majority of Physics Science teachers currently still use conventional methods in learning Science Physics. This learning approach is carried out using lecture and question and answer methods. The advantage of this approach is that it can teach relatively a lot of material in a short time, but this learning treats students only as objects so that students tend to be passive and only receive knowledge from the teacher. Conventional learning only presents physics science material textually so that students have difficulty applying it in everyday life. To improve the quality of science learning physics requires learning that stimulates students to observe, investigate and process information so that in the end students can understand concepts meaningfully. Learning that emphasizes student activity and is student-centered is one of the efforts that can be made to improve the quality of learning science physics. One of the appropriate learning processes is cooperative learning. Therefore, the authors need to conduct action research with the title Improving Physics Science Learning Achievement by Applying Cooperative Learning Model Class XI TKR SMK Negeri 1 Narmada Kab. <em>The study aimed: (1) to describe the application of scientific approach with video, (2) to improve social science learning, (3) to describe the constraints and solutions. The research was collaborative classroom action research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. The subjects were teacher and students. The data collection techniques were tests, and non-tests. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the steps to the application of scientific approach with video in improving social science learning were watching video, asking questions based on video, collecting information from video, reasoning based on video, communicating; (2) the application of scientific approach with video improved social science learning. It was proved by the increasing of average percentages of students’ mastery. They were 87.50%  in the first cycle, 90.63% in the second cycle, and 93.75% in the third cycle; (3) the obstacles were: the students were passive in asking questions, the students were confused during presentations, the students paid less attention to video, the students were passive during discussion, the students were chatting when the teacher explained. The solutions were: the teacher gave motivation to ask questions, the teacher gave instructions before the presentation, the teacher warned the students to pay attention to the video, the teacher asked the students to work together in discussions, the teacher warned the students to pay attention to the teacher's explanation.</em>

This study aims to improve science learning achievement in class IX A of SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo in the 2017/2018 academic year by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in class IX A of SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo, first semester of the 2017/2018 academic year, with a total of 32 students. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. The stages of data analysis in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the TPS type cooperative learning model can improve science learning achievement in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo. This can be seen from the percentage of student learning completeness, namely: before the action 12 students or 37.5%, in the first cycle as many as 23 students or 72.2% and in the second cycle as many as 30 students or 93.8%. While the average science learning achievement of students before the action was 71.2, in the first cycle of 77.2, and in the second cycle of 81.8.Keywords: TPS type cooperative learning model, science learning achievement. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA kelas IX A  SMP Negeri 5  Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2017/ 2018 dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS.  Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di kelas IX A SMP Negeri 5  Sukoharjo, semester I tahun pelajaran 2017/ 2018, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tahap-tahap analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa  dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IX A   SMP Negeri 5  Sukoharjo. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa, yaitu: sebelum tindakan 12 siswa atau 37,5%, pada siklus I sebanyak 23 siswa atau 72,2% dan pada siklus II sebanyak 30 siswa atau 93,8%. Sedangkan rata-rata prestasi belajar IPA siswa sebelum tindakan sebesar 71,2, pada siklus I sebesar 77,2, dan pada siklus II sebesar 81,8.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS, prestasi belajar IPA.
