Tourism is one of the fastest arising and undivided largest industries in the world. The contribution of tourism industry in the global as well as individual perspective is really astonishing. Many countries in the world depend upon tourism as a main source of foreign exchange earnings. The increasing trend of tourist arrivals and earnings is extending. In 2005, the world tourist arrivals rose to 808 million (Gunn, 1994). This continued growth in tourism business throughout the world is encouraging and nations are becoming more concerned to attract more tourists to their own destinations and trying to promote this sector as a major source for the economic development of the nation. In addition to this perspectivethis paper intends to assess and evaluate the existing potentiality and development of tourism industry of Birisiri (Netrokona District) of Bangladesh and also the applicability of pragmatic governmental management policy from various changing urgency.

Medical tourism is related to the travel of patients from one country to another in order to obtain medical treatment in that country. There are several countries worldwide promoting medical tourism and attracting patients. Most of the developing nations attract the patients because of cost benefits whereas the developed nations attract patients who require complex surgeries or any kind of advanced medical treatment. The main aim of this research paper is to focus on the development of medical tourism industry, worldwide. Medical Tourism industry throughout the world is growing at a fast rate. It has huge potential for generating employment and earning large amount of foreign exchange. This will help in the country's overall economic development. Medical tourism incorporates multi-dimensional activity but basically it is a service industry. Hence, medical tourism is a vital revenue earning source especially for the developing nations. Hence, it can be said that it is a win situation for both the patients as well as the destination countries.

Since the second half of the 20th century tourism has become one of the fast developing and expanding sectors in the world economy. The tourism sector plays an important role in alleviating issues related with the balance of payments, reducing unemployment, creating tax incomes and contributing to economic developments by providing a large foreign exchange inflow to the country, therefore, we can say that this sector has larger impact on economic growth than other sectors. As it is in developing and underdeveloped countries, in Kyrgyzstan the tourism industry is one of the most important sectors in the economy. The tourism sector in Kyrgyzstan plays an important role in in economic development by reducing the level of unemployment and generating the income by providing mass foreign exchange inflow to the country. In this context the aim of this paper is to analyze the role and importance of tourism in Kyrgyzstan’s economy by using methods of statistical analysis. The results show that the total number of tourists coming to Kyrgyzstan, thus the tourism revenues increased. In other words, when tourism revenues increase, this fosters economic development, by receiving a larger share of tourism revenues. In this study, the literature review method was used.

Moreover, the tourism development includes accessible way to reach the destination, proper facilities like hotels, means of transportation, amenities, for the tourist to have full satisfaction in the particular destination.Quality is the most important competitive advantage of a tourism company or the key to competitiveness.

The city government of Padang Panjang has developed several tourism objects, one of which is the Lubuk Mata Kucing bath because there are still not many tourism who have not seen the object, due to the location which is on the outskirts of the city and road directions to tourism objects are still lacking, then indirectly affect the level of tourism visits. The Lubuk Mata Kucing bath is indeed very minimal promotion and exposes tourism objects to the crowd, so you do not see this beautiful tourism attraction, in addition to the lack of promotion in the facilities section. The Indonesian government has tried to make Indonesia one of the tourism destinations for tourism and make Indonesia the main destination for tourism, tourism who visit many tourism objects in Indonesia automatically improve the economy of local residents and foreign exchange, as is being done by the Padang government. Panjang In making improvements to one of the tourism objects, namely the Lubuk Mata Kucing bath, to be a better tourism attraction. The development of the world of tourism and increased competition in the Tourism Industry of the Padang Panjang City Government, especially the Tourism Office, should carry out various development strategies so that tourism in the City of Padang Panjang is not left behind as one of the Lubuk Mata Kucing bathing objects that can develop and attract tourism to visit. The Municipal Government of Padang Panjang cooperates with other parties that are expected to increase the level of tourist visits.

Tourism is a backbone of economy for many countries of the world. Tourism is a big source and always helpful in generating revenue and a mean of foreign exchange. Scenario in our country is not much different and Tourism contributes to GDP of this country in a big proportion. However it’s a deep matter of concern for all the stakeholders associated with tourism industry that tourism is the most affected sector in the world due to corona virus disease (COVID-19) in the beginning of 2020.COVID-19 is spreading rapidly at an unprecedented scale across continents and has emerged as the single biggest life threatening health risk in the world has faced in modern times. Th is paper focuses on the COVID-19 issue in India and its impact on the tourism and hotel industry, the paper has some significance, as the tourism and hotel industry greatly affected by the COVID-19 crisis worldwide. India is the 7th largest country of the world and rich with various tourism resources and millions of tourists arrive annually, which contributes to the country’s GDP. The need of the hour, is to take early steps to overcome the present slowdown in tourism industry by analyzing its long term impacts at the earliest.

Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries in the world, having more than 17,000 islands. It becomes one priority to the state building, more importantly in the national economy. State economic development can be driven by maximizing the potential of seawater through the tourism industry, especially in maritime tourism which is one part of the third pillars of the maritime axis. Maritime tourism may serve as an instrument of Indonesian diplomacy to compete in Southeast Asia’s tourism race. It could be very significant when the government is able to manage the potential resources. This paper argues that maritime tourism is potential for Indonesian development through maritime tourism industry in the future. This paper employs cultural diplomacy concept to describe how cultural diplomacy plays role as an instrument in promoting Indonesia’s tourism industry in the region.Keywords: maritime tourism, cultural diplomacy, tourism industry

Tourism is an attractive tool for economic development, especially in the developing world because tourism industry is considered as one of the largest and the most diverse industries in the world and it is one of the fastest growing sectors of the global economic. Many countries are seeking a way to improve their economic conditions; they see tourism as a major source of income, employment, and development of economic. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) researches assesses that the Travel & Tourism industry's contribution to GDP and jobs for 184 countries and 24 regions and economic groups in the world1.


Turkey has a high level of competitiveness and prerequisites for reaching the leading positions on the world stage of tourist services. It is a result of the effective state tourism policy, which ensures the stable functioning of the organized national market of the tourism industry. Therefore, the analysis of the state regulation of the tourism sphere based on the experience of Turkey is relevant and can contribute to the overcoming of the disadvantages and to the development of strong and unique aspects of tourism national market.The subject of research of the article is the state regulation of tourism in Turkey, which can become an example for the development of tourism in Ukraine. The goal is the analysis of the state regulation of the tourism sphere in Turkey and the development of proposals for improving the state tourism management policy in Ukraine. The objectives are to research the tourism development and the state regulation in Turkey and Ukraine, to determine the possibilities of adaptation of the Turkish Republic experience in practice of the domestic tourism. General scientific methods are used, such as system analysis – to determine the peculiarities of the state regulation of tourism in the Republic of Turkey and in Ukraine, comparative analysis– to characterize the recreational resources, tourism infrastructure, statistical analysis– to review the dynamics and patterns of the tourism development in Turkey and Ukraine.The following results were obtained: on the basis of the analysis the problem aspects and the priority orientations for the reorganization of mechanism of the state tourism regulation in Ukraine based on the experience of Turkey were identified. Conclusions: the experience of the state regulation of the tourism sphere in Turkey should be used as recommendations for determination of the modernized strategy of Ukraine in the world tourist market.

Europe has the strongest and largest tourism in the world. As in times of economic prosperity, the industry can prosper, in the case of a change in the economic environment as a result of a crises, it is hit hard and the tourism industry throughout the European Union is suffering billions of euros in damage. It is the case of all post-communist countries and also in Slovak Republic. The effects of such fluctuations are all the greater for the country´s GDP because they do not have contingency plans in place and solutions are often chaotic or implemented too late. The article assesses the impact of several crises, including the current one associated with COVID-19 and predicts a possible approach to mitigate the consequences of the crisis and at the same time better manage the future crisis.
