Research learning characterized biology with Thinking Actively in Social Context (TASC) approach to increase creative thinking skills of students has been done tested to applied in 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 1Kebomas-Gresik with one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of this research are learning performance categorized good (3.82) in the score range 1-4, the ability to think creatively students increased due to treatment (Gain Score = 0.9 and T test = -tmearure < -ttable = -21.028 -2.045), thoroughness student learning outcomes in classical (0.93) and the individual (0.86) and thoroughness indicators (0.92) increased by the treatment (Gain score = 0.8) and categories are complete, and the response students positive (98 percent). The conclusions this research, learning with TASC approach can improve the creative thinking ability of senior high school student.Telah dilakukan penelitian pembelajaran biologi dengan pendekatan Thinking Actively in Social Context (TASC) dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan diujicobakan pada 30 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kebomas-Gresik dengan  desain  one  group  pretest-posttest.  Analisis  data  secara  deskriptif  kualitatif  dengan  hasil  pengamatan  keterlaksanaan pembelajaran kategori baik (3,82) dalam rentang skor 1-4, kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa meningkat akibat perlakuan (Gain Score = 0,9 dan uji T = -thitung < -ttabel = - 21,028 < -2,045), ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal (0,93) dan individu (0,86) serta ketuntasan indikator (0,92) meningkat akibat perlakuan (Gain score = 0,8) dan kategori tuntas, serta respon siswa positif (98%). Simpulan penelitian ini, pembelajaran dengan pendekatan TASC dapat meningkatkan kemampuan  berpikir kreatif siswa SMA.

This study aims to determine the ability of creative thinking high school students in physics learning, know the form of assessment of creative thinking abilities. The study was conducted at SMAN 6 Yogyakrata. This type of research is a survey with a cross-sectional method that is a survey conducted once and at a time. The subjects were the principals, teachers of physics from SMAN 6 Yogyakrata and 30 grade XI students. observations, interviews, and questionnaires were used as data collection techniques. The data analysis method used was the quantitative-qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of class XI MIA 1 students at SMAN 6 Yogyakarta can be said to be in the average and quite good category, although there are some students whose level of creative thinking ability is low. In addition, the form of assessment used by physics teachers has not been effective and accurate enough in assessing students 'creative thinking abilities. So it is recommended to use The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) in physics learning because it has been proven to be accurate in assessing students' creative thinking abilities.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan model open-ended problem terhadap  kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre Experimental Design dengan tipe one group pretest postest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif  (thitung = 31,47 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,69) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa (thitung = 4, 95 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,69) yang diajarkan menggunakan model open-ended problem   untuk variabel kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan  variabel kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Dengan hasil uji N-gain sebesar 0,74 untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan 0,63 untuk uji N-gain pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model open-ended problem  efektif diterapkan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampaun pemecahan maalah siswa. Kata kunci : Open-Ended Problem, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah This research was aimed to explain how the effectiveness of using the open-ended problem model  on creative thinking skills and problem solving abilities. The type of this research was Pre Experimental Design with one group pretest posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant effect on creative thinking skills (tcount = 31.47 which is greater than ttable = 1.69) and students' problem solving abilities (tcount = 4, 95 which is greater than ttable = 1.69), who were taught to use the open-ended problem model for creative thinking ability variables and problem solving ability variables. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Socioscientific Issues learning approach to improving students' creative thinking ability. Learning with the Socioscintific Issues approach needs to be trained because it not only develops creative thinking skills, but also other abilities can be developed such as critical thinking skills, decision-making and arguing ability. The research method that will be used is quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Control Group. This research was conducted at State Junior High School 6 Sukabumi with research population that is class VII (Seven). The sampling technique used is Purposing Sampling. Indicators of creative thinking that is sensitivity, thinking smoothly, thinking flexible, original thinking and thinking detailing. The results showed that the average value of N-gain of the experimental class was 0.56 higher than the control class of 0.44. The results of the z test show that the data produced in accordance with the criteria is zhitung = 3.177> ztabel = 1.998 with a trust level of 0.05 (5%), meaning H0 is rejected and H1 accepted, it means that the Socioscientific Issues learning approach influences the creative thinking ability of learners water pollution material. The response of learners to the learning approach Socioscientific Issue gave a positive response on the approach of learning approaches Socioscientific Issues.Keywords: Creative Thinking, Socioscientific Issues.

Students' low creative thinking skills and difficulty in drawing graphs from the given algebraic equations are the background of this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical creative thinking abilities between Android-based GeoGebra and ordinary learning. This study also investigated students’ responses to the application of Android-based GeoGebra. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design. The instruments were a creative thinking test and a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were students of one of the junior high school in Cianjur selected by purposive sampling technique. The studied material was the quadratic equations as a part of algebra. The gain index data analysis technique used was the normality test and the Mann Whitney test while the questionnaire data responses were analyzed through the average percentage of students’ answers. As a result, the students' mathematical creative thinking ability with Android-based GeoGebra was better than ordinary learning. Also, the students provided positive responses to the application of Android-based GeoGebra.

Learning activities that utilize digital technology for online learning are an alternative during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of electronic comic media based on problem-based learning integrated with Islamic values to improve students' creative thinking skills. This study uses a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model. The subjects in the study were 90 students of class VIII. Data collection techniques using research instruments with quantitative data analysis. The data collection instrument was by giving essay questions in the form of a creative thinking ability test. The study of creative thinking skills by calculating the N-gain and the significance test was carried out using an average difference test through a t-test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the value of significance (2 tailed) from the two schools, namely 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average creative thinking ability of the pretest and posttest both at SMP N 3 Watumalang and at SMP IT Permata Hati, which means that there is an effect of using E-Comic media in improving students' creative thinking skills

This study aims to determine: (1) To determine the differences in students' creative thinking skills in writing free poetry between students who are taught with the synectic learning model compared to the reciprocal learning model; (2) To determine the differences in students' creative thinking skills in writing free poetry between students who have high learning interest compared to low learning interest; and (3) to determine the interaction between learning models and interest in learning in influencing students' creative thinking abilities in writing free poetry. This research was conducted at SDN 112320 Aek Kota Batu. The research method used is a quantitative method with a 2x2 experimental design. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique in this study used the Two Way Anova test. The results showed that: (1) There is a significant difference in the average creative thinking ability of students who are taught with the synectic model compared with the average thinking ability of students taught with the reciprocal model (Fcount = 11.664 and sig. 0.001 < 0.05) ; (2) The average creative thinking ability of students who have high learning interest is higher than the average creative thinking ability of students who have low learning interest (Fcount = 12.165 and sig. 0.001 < 0.05); and (3) There is an interaction between learning models and interest in learning in influencing students' creative thinking abilities (Fcount = 7.054 and sig. 0.011 < 0.05).

Students were intellectuals who should have the ability to think critically, one of which is the creative thinking skills. However, the students' limited ability in basic physics as well as the limitations of using a variety of multimedia resulted in basic physics final exam results lower than 6 on average from maximum value of 10. This leads to the lower creative thinking skills of students in basic physics. This research is a Quasi Experiment research on students in the first semester of academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 38 people. This research is expected to increase creative thinking skills as well as lecturers and students activities. Data obtained from this study is the data of creative thinking skills of students and data on the observation of activity of lecturers and students. The data were analysed by using formula percentage of completeness of learning outcomes, gain indexes and statistical t-test. Based on the results of data analysis it is showed that the use of interactive multimedia (Macromedia Flash) can improve creative thinking skills of students.

This study aims to determine the application of open ended strategies can improve students' creative thinking abilities. The research method used in this study is the classroom action research (CAR) method using the Kurt Lewin model consisting of four components namely, planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 45 students of MI Al-Khoiriyah Sawangan class of students. Data collection techniques used were observation sheets, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed in a qualitative description. Based on the results of the first cycle study 63% of students stated to have the ability to think creatively, in the second cycle 88% of students have the ability to think creatively. This achievement shows that the use of open ended strategies can improve students' creative thinking skills in thematic learning.Keywords: Creative Thinking Ability, Open Ended, Thematic

This study aims to reveal students' mathematical creative thinking skills which include indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality by describing students' answers in solving cube and block problems. This research was conducted on the superior grade VIII students of MTsN 1 Makassar, totaling 39 students. The research subjects were taken as many as 6 people using the criteria for high, medium, and low group levels, every 2 students at each level. The instrument used is a creative thinking ability test, which consists of 4 items of description with qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' mathematical creative thinking skills including the three indicators were very good based on the percentage value of each indicator being above 50%. In the fluency indicator, the percentage value is 100% for item number 1 and 95.83% for question number 2, the percentage value of the flexibility indicator for item number 2 and 4 is 95.83% and 91.67%, respectively, and the percentage value of the novelty indicator is questions number 2 and 4 are 75% and 70.83%, respectively. From the three indicators above, the percentage value of students' creative thinking ability is low when compared to the other two indicators, this shows that students are less able to produce unusual answers/ideas and the suitability of the answers given is very irrelevant to the problem.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of creative thinking ability and creative thinking skill in mathematics learning with mathematic in context approach. The technique analisys used is the average comparative test for pretest and posstest data. To see an increased creative thinking skill, researcher compare the average value of creative thinking skills from the first meeting, the meeting II and III meeting. The result showed that there is an increasing of creative thinking ability and crtative thinking skill in mathematics learning with mathematic in context approach.
