THE ROLE OF FAMILY IN PRESERVING OF HEALTH FROM THE VIEW OF THE YOUTH

The article is devoted to the analysis of views of the youth about health, factors contributing to health formation and the role of family in preserving of health. Methodology of work is a survey with electronic Google form. Attitudes and opinion of 430 people, citizens of Russia, mainly of the youngsters aged 18-24, have been studied. There was found that psychological and social components of health are the most important for young people, while the role of physical health in young age is underestimated. The majority of respondents (61,4%) defined healthy family as the one, where there are good sincere relationships between spouses and children. Half of the respondents (51,9%) marked the role of financial status of family in achievement of health. 34,4% of the respondents believe that in a healthy family parents devote much attention to self-development and education of their children. The majority of respondents (88,4%) realize that family is a key factor in formation of healthy behavior and healthy life style. Only half of respondents recognize the positive influence of family on their own health. The results of the study can be applied for development of regional and state programs in the field of public health and health promotion.

In the light of the current changing global scenarios, green infrastructure is obtaining increasing relevance in planning policies, especially due to its ecological, environmental and social components which contribute to pursuing sustainable and resilient planning and designing of cities and territories. The issue of green infrastructure is framed within the conceptual contexts of sustainability and resilience, which are described through the analysis of their common aspects and differences with a particular focus on planning elements. In particular, the paper uses two distinct case studies of green infrastructure as representative: the green infrastructure of the Region Languedoc-Roussillon in France and the one of the Province of Turin in Italy. The analysis of two case studies focuses on the evaluation process carried on about the social-ecological system and describes the methodologies and the social-ecological indicators used to define the green infrastructure network. We related these indicators to their possible contribution to the measurement of sustainability and resilience. The analysis of this relationship led us to outline some conclusive considerations on the complex role of the design of green infrastructure with reference to sustainability and resilience.

The article describes the facilities of volunteering for students in social pedagogy and medicine during their professional training. Theoretical and methodological basis for developing students’ reflective competence, facilities for modeling it and implementing it at university through volunteering are considered. Successful development of reflective competence of students is viewed through volunteering and based on mastering the ways of social and professional behavior and new social roles. It is implemented in uneven-aged groups and depends on conscious choice of contents, forms, methods and means of training at university. That is what constitutes the concept of the research. The aim of the study is to develop, substantiate and implement theoretical and conceptual grounds for developing reflective competence of students in pedagogy and medicine at university through volunteering. The research experimentally proved the important role of volunteering in developing reflective competence of future specialists at university. It showed the correlation of characteristics of educational space at university and facilities for transferring effective reflective practices to volunteering. The results of the research indicate that developing reflective competence of future specialists through volunteering is a long process which should be specially organized. The aim of improving student’s reflective competence is personal and professional self-development. Based on the studied scientific literature, the authors revealed the characteristics of volunteering as a social and pedagogical phenomenon which had a positive influence on social and professional development of students.

Статтю   присвячено   проблемі   теоретичного   осмислення   методологічних   засад   розвитку  фасилітативних здібностей майбутнього психолога в умовах вищої професійної освіти. Проаналізовано два  основних напрямки, в контексті яких ведеться діяльність сучасного психолога: об’єктний, в якому основна  увага    приділяється    використанню    сильно    формалізованних    методів    психологічної    діагностики,  психологічної корекції з метою максимальної адаптації людини до умов суспільства відповідно до визнаних  нормативів вікового розвитку; і суб’єктний, результатом впливу в якому виступають негарантовані і  непрогнозовані, однак свідомо продуковані зміни. Процесом, який стимулює прогресивні зміни, визначено  фасилітацію, і, відповідно, основним завданням психолога – фасилітативний супровід особистості з метою  створення необхідних психологічних умов для її повноцінного саморозвитку. Обґрунтовано актуальність  створення  в  середовищі  вищої  професійної  освіти  сприятливих  умов  для  розвитку  фасилітативних  здібностей майбутніх психологів. У пошуку освітніх орієнтирів особливу увагу звернуто на культурологічну  парадигму,  основною  функцією якої  є  гуманітарна,  а  основним  завданням  –  становлення  особистості  студента.    Роль    викладача    в    контексті    культурологічної    освітньої    парадигми    повинна    бути  супроводжувальною  –  такою,  що  забезпечує  розширення  освітніх  сфер  кожного  студента.  Завдання  викладача   –   допомогти   кожному   студенту   в   побудові   індивідуальної   траєкторії   освіти,   яка  співвідноситься із загальновизнаними досягненнями людства і спрямована на їх примноження. В результаті  усвідомлення  соціально-культурних  смислів  освіти  розвивається  гуманітарна  культура  майбутнього  психолога, провідними властивостями якої є рефлексивність, конгруентність, позитивне самоставлення,  емпатійність, альтруїстичність, креативність, потреба в самореалізації і саморозвитку The article is devoted to the theoretical comprehension problem of the methodological foundations of  future psychologist’s facilitative abilities development in higher professional education. Two main directions in the  context of which the activity of the modern psychologist are carried out: object-oriented in which the main attention  is paid to the use of highly formalized methods of psychological diagnostics, psychological correction for the  purpose of maximum person’s adaptation to the society’s conditions, according to the accepted standarts of age  development;  and  subjective  in  which  there  are  not  guaranteed  and  unpredictable  but  consciously  produced  changes as the result of influence. Facilitation is defined as a process that stimulates progressive changes and  according to this, the main psychologist’s task is facilitative support of personality in order to create the necessary  psychological conditions for his or her self-development. The actuality of organization profitable conditions for the  development of  future psychologists’ facilitative abilities in the environment of higher professional education is  substantiated. In searching educational guides, special attention is paid to the culturological paradigm, the main  function of which is humanitarian, and the main task - the formation of the student's personality. The role of the  teacher in the context of the culturological educational paradigm should be accompanying, the one that provides  expansion of each student’s educational spheres. The teacher’s task is to help each student to build an individual  trajectory of education which correlates with the generally accepted achievements of mankind and is aimed at their  multiplication. The humanitarian culture of a future psychologist develops as a result of socio-cultural awareness of  education meanings, leading properties of which are reflexivity, congruence, positive self-drive, empathy, altruistic,  creativity, the need for self-realization and self-development.

LL-37, also called cathelicidin, is an important part of the human immune system, which can resist various pathogens. A plethora of experiments have demonstrated that it has the multifunctional effects of immune regulation, in addition to antimicrobial activity. Recently, there have been increasing interest in its immune function. It was found that LL-37 can have two distinct functions in different tissues and different microenvironments. Thus, it is necessary to investigate LL-37 immune functions from the two sides of the same coin. On the one side, LL-37 promotes inflammation and immune response and exerts its anti-infective and antitumor effects; on the other side, it has the ability to inhibit inflammation and promote carcinogenesis. This review presents a brief summary of its expression, structure, and immunomodulatory effects as well as brief discussions on the role of this small peptide as a key factor in the development and treatment of various inflammation-related diseases and cancers.

Communication is the most important key factor for a student to lead effectively because it helps them to express their opinion. Some students are struggling to socialise with other students due to a lack of communication skills. It is important for students to have effective communication because it helps them develop their leadership skills and can also improvise their self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of effective listening, performing tasks completely and effectively, clarity of thought and expression, and leadership skills, to assess the significant difference of demographic variables (gender, age, and semester) on effective listening, performing tasks completely and effectively, clarity of thought and expression and leadership skills, to determine the relationship between effective listening, performing tasks completely and effectively, clarity of thought and expression and leadership skills, and lastly to examine whether effective listening, performing tasks completely and effectively, clarity of thought and expression relate toward leadership skills. The random sample of 155 respondents is from the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Science (FSKM) at UiTM Perlis. To achieve all the objectives, the researcher has chosen to apply the frequency test, the independent t-Test, the one-way ANOVA, the correlation, and regression performed by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences Version 20.0. (SPSS). Based on the findings, there is a positive relationship between the role of effective communication and leadership skills, but a great deal of determination is still needed to establish leadership criteria among undergraduates, as a few students have not been aware of the importance of leadership skills in their future careers. Moreover, the analysis shows that clarity of thought and expression are the most important roles that contribute to leadership skills. The role of effective communication in enhancing leadership skills among university students must be properly studied so that students can develop their ability to soon become major leaders.

The article analyzes the role of the family in society and public life, giving her attention as an institution, influence the state of development of resistance in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The policy of a family as a key factor of ensuring economic and social development of society is researched. It raised the issue of marriageable age. The statistics of marriages and stains is analysed. The experience of Uzbekistan on prevention of early marriages is studied. Also examines the role of citizens’ self-government bodies (mahalla) in strengthening family ties. The article describes the main priorities of the state programs in the sphere of strengthening the family. The role and influence of waving on improving family relations is opened. It is studied the way the regulatory system of citizens’ self-government bodies. Questions of marriage contracts are also considered.

Nowadays, start-ups, assuming increasing importance, have the possibility to include intangible knowledge as another resource on which they can carry out planning exercises, impact studies, evaluation and monitoring, protection, accumulation and exploitation. The study carried out in this paper allows us to analyze the influence that intangible knowledge has on the financial status of a start-up and, therefore, on its economic sustainability. This enables start-ups to present a good image, become more transparent, have more opportunities, reduce uncertainty, improve sustainability, etc. Moreover, the study presents a descriptive analysis of intangibles according to regions and activity sectors. An analysis of variance was carried out, to see if there is a relationship between the investment in intangible assets and the activity sector and/or regions to which the company belongs. The study concludes that, among all sectors, the differences in the incorporation of intangible assets into financial statements are most recognized in tourism, which may be a key factor for the sustainability of this sector, especially in periods of economic crisis, such as the one Europe and the planet are currently facing.

Abstract Introduction. Patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD) are faced with bearing this burden and report poor mental health. Spirituality can be a key factor in managing these problems among HD patients. Aim. This cross-sectional study aimed at exploring possible factors that are associated with psychological distress among HD patients and testing its relation to spirituality. Methods. HD patients were recruited from six dialysis units in Greece. Psychological distress was assessed using the scale Symptom Check List 90-R and spirituality using the Facit Sp-12 questionnaire. In addition, a special design questionnaire regarding demographic, social, and clinical characteristic was administrated. Results. According to the results, factors such age, gender, marital status and area of residence are associated with psychological distress, while dimensions of spirituality such Meaning in Life and Peace can have a positive influence on psychological distress. Conclusion. This study highlights the vital role of spirituality, which can act as a mechanism for managing stressful situations. In particular, this study highlights the positive effect of the meaning and purpose of life, as well as the role of peace and harmony.

How can (aging) individual employees continue to grow as persons, on the one hand, and contribute to their employing organizations in meaningful ways, on the other hand? In this article, we set out to study how two important instruments of human resource management—age climate and the offering of developmental measures—may help. We use path modeling to investigate the research model based on data of 208 respondents of both rural and urban regions in Austria. The results indicate that a positive organizational age climate has a positive influence on the offering of developmental measures and, subsequently, on employees’ employability. We emphasize the importance of facilitating developmental measures for staff of all ages, as well as the necessity to address the organizational age climate to successfully tackle the challenges of demographic change.

This paper focuses on the constitutional-political turbulence that Donald J. Trump has been creating since he was elected president of the United States. On the one hand, we point out the mainstream of litigious and political issues as signals of an on-going constitutional crisis in the United States and its consequences, both in the national and international scenarios. On the other, we explain the indicators of the constitutional crisis within two levels of analysis. The first one considers Trump’s multiple attacks against American constitutional liberties, while the second one studies the cases of Trump’s policies against customary international law. The paper unveils empirical evidence of all the above-mentioned issues in order to explain the increasing constitutional litigation in District Courts and the Supreme Court of the United States. Therefore, the article puts the finger on the role of the judiciary as a key factor in blocking Trump’s policies and his pervasive attacks on the American rule of law.
