The article presents the results of the analysis of the main parameters of the investment sphere development over the past twelve years. The base year for comparison is pre-crisis 2007. We considered the main trends in the development of investment activity both for the full range of enterprises and organizations, and for large and medium-sized enterprises (without small businesses and the volume of investment that is not observed by direct statistical methods). We concluded that it is advisable to base further research on data collected by Rosstat for large and medium-sized enterprises., We grouped economic activities into 14 homogeneous industry complexes to identify areas of activity in the investment sphere. We carried out the analysis of sources of financing for investment activities in the context of own and attracted funds. The specific section of investments is linked to the investigation by economic sectors since it is the nature of the industry and its functionality that determine its specific structure. As a result of the analysis of the investment sphere, the authors have established the extreme instability of investment dynamics in recent years, identified problem points in the field of investment, the solution of which will contribute to the growth of investment activity in the country.

The article is devoted to the study of structural changes in the economy of local urban economic systems of Transcarpathian region in the conditions of deepening of market transformation processes. The main attention is paid to the analysis of structural processes in industrial production and services as priority spheres of management in small towns and urban settlements. The intensity of structural shifts in terms of economic activities is analyzed. An analysis of the dynamics of structural shifts during the analyzed period showed that the most dynamically structural processes occurred in industry, in particular at city-forming industrial enterprises. The activity of small businesses, which today constitute the economic basis of urban settlements, and their impact on urban employment are analyzed.

Subject. Investment activity of subjects of regional agribusiness. Topic. Investment support for small businesses in the agro-industrial complex. Purpose. Development of a mechanism for managing investment activities of small businesses in the agro-industrial complex and substantiation of practical proposals for attracting investments in the development of the farming sector based on an assessment of their competitiveness. Methodology. During the research, traditional research methods were used: economic and mathematical, statistical analysis, monographic, computational and constructive, graphic, systemic and comparative analytical. Results. The theoretical understanding of the essence of «investment management» has been clarified in relation to small forms of management in the agro-industrial complex, the economic toolkit for attracting investment resources to the agricultural sector has been determined. The authors have developed a step-by-step mechanism for managing investment activities, taking into account the factor characteristics of agricultural production. Measures are proposed for the selection of peasant (farmer) households for the provision of state support, taking into account the assessment of their competitiveness in the agricultural market using the method of cluster analysis and taking into account the strategic priorities of the region. Application area. The results of the work can be used by regional authorities in the development of investment policy in relation to small forms of agribusiness. Conclusions. Management of investment activities of small businesses is interpreted as a set of management decisions to determine the source of investments, optimize their composition and purpose of use, with the subsequent accumulation of financial resources while reducing the cost of production. On the basis of the method of classification of multidimensional observations in order to determine the similarity or proximity between objects, indicators have been established that characterize the financial and economic activities of peasant (farmer) enterprises in the municipal districts of the Oryol region. Four clusters of peasant (farmer) households have been identified. It is advisable to use the results of cluster analysis as part of the selection procedure for peasant (farmer) households to participate in a competition for a grant from regional or federal government bodies. Keywords: small forms of economy, management, agricultural economy, investments, peasant (farm) farms, state, agriculture, financial resources, competitiveness, cluster.

If well exploited and closely related to other economic sectors, tourism is believed to function as an engine of growth. This research shows how the role of the tourism sector can be a factor of development in increasing economic growth by offering a variety of employment opportunities and by increasing foreign income in the country of Indonesia which is used to increase other economic activities. Activities developed as a result of tourism include entertainment, transportation services, rental and sale of handicrafts, tour guides, restaurants, hotels, manicures, and beach pedicures and more. These activities are interrelated with financial inclusion. Tourism has a strong multiplier effect that contributes to development. Through the consumption of local tourism products and other local but non-tourism products, tourism can function as a vehicle for the development of many small businesses. This research concludes that the tourism sector needs to be sustainable in order to successfully play its role as a development factor. The results of this study note that the short-term and long-term impact of foreign exchange and open unemployment rates have a significant effect on economic growth in the tourism sector.

The following article is based on my fieldwork in Morocco and represents anthropological data collected amongst undocumented sub-Saharan migrants in Morocco. They want to enter Europe in search for a better life for themselves and to provide financial support for their families. Due to heavy border security control and repression, they find themselves trapped at the gates of Europe, where they are trying to survive by engaging in various economic activities in the informal sector. The article begins with an overview of the European migration politics in Africa and the geopolitical and historical context of Morocco, in light of the externalization of European border control. I will then analyze the various economic sectors, in which sub-Saharan migrations are active, as well as smuggling networks, informal camps and remittances, on which they largely depend due to the exclusion from the national job market.

Although the reception of the Eastern father Gregory of Nyssa has varied over the centuries, the past few decades have witnessed a profound awakening of interest in his thought, particularly in relation to the contentious issues of gender, sex, and sexuality. The Body and Desire sets out to retrieve the full range of Gregory’s thinking on the challenges of the ascetic life through a diachronic analysis of his oeuvre. Exploring his understanding of the importance of bodily and spiritual maturation in the practices of contemplation and virtue, Raphael Cadenhead recovers the vital relevance of this vision of transformation for contemporary ethical discourse.

The industry has a relevant spatial and socioeconomic importance in most of the Spanish cities and nowadays is one of the main urban economic activities. However, in many situations, and despite recent advances in the past two decades, industrial heritage is a value that is still not sufficiently widespread in society. The factories, their activity, and their historical evolution are often disconnected and isolated from the daily life of the cities, being quite an unknown aspect for most of the citizens. This contribution presents the result of various experiences of knowledge transmission on the heritage value of industry, through the use of games and storytelling technique as an educational tool and the combination of different technologies (3D modelling, videomapping, virtual reality) as useful tools to spread the explanation of this phenomenon.

Summary The majority of one hundred and eighty-eight women interviewed after having legal, therapeutic abortions did not experience psychiatric disturbance. While women with a psychiatric history were more likely than their more mentally healthy counterparts to experience some psychiatric disturbance afterwards, the majority of those with psychiatric problems in the past appeared to be coping reasonably well afterwards. It was pointed out that factors and circumstances other than the abortion itself, but occurring around the same time, may constitute reasons for the subsequent appearance of psychiatric disturbance, such as suicide attempts. Finally, the grounds for legal abortion in Canada were questioned — particularly the artificial practice of compartmentalizing and labeling reasons for abortion as psychiatric and non-psychiatric. While such practices may facilitate the decision-making processes involved in reviewing applications for abortion, they do not take account of the full range of human and social need.

Abstract In February and March 2017, a coastal El Niño caused extraordinary heavy rains and a rise in water temperatures along the coast of northern Peru. In this work, we document the impacts of this phenomenon on the artisanal fisheries and the scallop aquaculture sector, both of which represent important socio-economic activities for the province of Sechura. Despite the perceived absence of effective disaster management and rehabilitation policies, resource users opted for a wide range of different adaptation strategies and are currently striving towards recovery. One year after the event, the artisanal fisheries fleet has returned to operating almost on a normal scale, while the aquaculture sector is still drastically impacted, with many people continuing to work in different economic sectors and even in other regions of the country. Recovery of the social-ecological system of Sechura likely depends on the occurrence of scallop seed and the financial capacity of small-scale producers to reinitiate scallop cultures. Long-term consequences of this coastal El Niño are yet to be studied, though the need to develop trans-local and trans-sectoral management strategies for coping with disturbance events of this scale is emphasized.

SummaryAnalysing interpersonal dynamics is an approach through which the multidisciplinary team can develop a shared understanding of their patients. This empirically based method provides an insight into repeated patterns of dysfunctional behaviour, which not only have been evident in the past, but are currently having an impact on the patient's relationships with caring staff. The technique is accessible to any team member with only minimal training required. It provides the team with a coherent map of the patient's relationship patterns that underpins the formulation of an effective strategy for care. The multidisciplinary team is then able to work towards shared goals, supporting all members in their provision of effective interventions within the full range of therapeutic modalities. The approach promotes positive staff–patient interactions and provides an additional dimension to the assessment and management of risk.

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. The independent variables of this study are: (X1) Economy, (X2) Total Population. The model chosen in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM).            This type of research is descriptive and associative research, the data used in this study are secondary data using panel data techniques during the 2015-2018 period. Documentation data collection techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and BPH Migas. Data were analyzed using the Regression Panel.   The results of this study indicate that: (1) The economy has a positive and significant effect on demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that as the economy increases, the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia also increases. Indonesia's energy consumption is dominated by fossil energy, especially fuel. Final energy consumption consists of various sectors, namely households, industry, transportation, commercial, and others. Energy is very much needed in carrying out Indonesia's economic activities, both for consumption needs and for the production activities of various economic sectors. (2) The population has a positive and significant effect on the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that the greater the population, the higher the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. From year to year the population of Indonesia as one of the developing countries in the world continues to experience growth. This growth has had various impacts on aspects of human life. One aspect that is quite affected by the increase in population is the use of energy to support the necessities of life which includes the industrial sector, households, transportation and so forth. The greater the population, the greater the energy used. Keywords : Economy, Population and Panel Regression
