Diarrhea is a symptom of infection in the intestinal tract with the second death rate in the world in children under five years of age. Risk factors for the incidence of diarrhea in children under five are host factors that increase susceptibility to diarrhea, not giving exclusive breastfeeding (ASI), not giving breastfeeding for 2 years, malnutrition, measles and immunodeficiency. Breastfeeding (ASI) contains the best nutrients that match the needs of the baby and exclusive breastfeeding is carried out from birth to the first six months without any additional food or drink. Several studies have shown that the immunity content of breastfeeding is able to coat the gastrointestinal mucosa and protect the digestive tract from incoming pathogens. The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of diarrhea in children aged 6-24 months at Puskesmas Aek Parombunan, Sibolga Selatan in 2019. The research design used was observational analytic cross-sectional with the criteria for the research sample of toddlers aged 6-24 months. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling. The research instrument was a medical record and data analysis used the chi-square test. Based on the results of the study, there was a relation between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of diarrhea.

Diarrhea is still a health problem in the world, especially in developing countries. The World Health Organization (WHO) explained that the cause of death in infants and toddlers is diarrhea, which ranks second. Meanwhile, based on Indonesia's health profile in 2015, there were 18 outbreaks of diarrhea in 11 provinces, 18 districts / cities, with 1,213 sufferers and 30 deaths (CFR 2.47%). Several factors related to the incidence of diarrhea are maternal care, birth weight and environmental sanitation. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal parenting, birth weight and environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Selagalas Village, the working area of Cakranegara Health Center. This study used a cross-sectional quantitative design on 104 toddlers who were selected by systematic random sampling in three selected environments in Selagalas Village. Data were collected by structured interviews using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out bivariately using logistic regression to see the relationship between family drinking water management and the incidence of diarrhea. 64.42% of children under five were found to have experienced diarrhea. The variable related to the incidence of diarrhea was the lack of drinking water management with a value of P = 0.03. The management of family drinking water is still lacking so it is necessary to make health promotion efforts for the family to improve the management of family drinking water that meets the requirements so that it can improve the behavior of a clean and healthy life.

The conducted of this research in November 2018 in Marendal I Pasar V Deli Serdang. Regency theobservational research with cross sectional approach. The subject were all of the house which have children under five years old with 54 respondents sample. The technique of sample used cluster random sampling. The statistical test used chi square test by using Statistical product and service solutions version 20 program. The resultof this research indicated that there was a relationship between house ventilation (p=0,001),air pollution (p=0,030) and accupancy density (p=0,006) with the occurrence of ISPA (Infection of exhalation Acude). Poor ventilation can cause high humidity and endanger health so that the incidence of Infection of exhalation Acude will increase. Pneumonia is the leading cause of death among children under five years of age in the world. Based on Riskesdas 2007, in Indonesia the percentages of infants and children under five years who died due to pneumonia were 23.8 percent and 15.5 percent respectively. Using a non-reactive unobstructive method, this study aimed at analyzing the relationship between nutrition and the immunization status and the incidence of pneumonia among children under two years old. This study employed secondary data of Laporan Bulanan Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak dan Laporan Gizi (monthly reports of maternal care, child wellbeings, and nutritions) at Bulak Banteng primary health center in the year of 2015. The sample in this study was 604 children under two years selected using a simple random sampling method. The data was obtained by collecting data of children under two years and the incidence of pneumonia among children under two years at Bulak Banteng health center in 2015. Using a bivariate analysis, it showed that there was relationship between variables of age, sex, immunization, and nutritional status, and the incidence of pneumonia. The p value and OR variables used respectively are 0.00 OR 3.6; 0.00 OR 1.6; 0.00 OR 3.2 and 0.00 OR 16.6. The conclusion of this study is that there was a significant relationship between the variables of age, sex, immunization, and nutritional status and the incidence of pneumonia among children under two years. The advice to primary health centers is to give PMT (additional nutritious food) to children under two years without good nutritional statuses and to monitor the health status of patients who have pneumonia with home visits to avoid recurrence.

Posyandu is an important tool in the community that supports efforts to achieve nutri-tionally aware families (KADARZI), helps reduce infant mortality and birth, and accelerates the acceptance of norms of happy and prosperous small families. However, in reality many posyandu members in the community themselves do not use posyandu to monitor their chil-dren's growth and development on the grounds of being busy working or not being able to bring their toddlers to the posyandu and lack of knowledge about the importance of monitoring growth and development in children under five. So a study was conducted aimed at finding out the relationship between the participation of mothers of children under five to posyandu with the weight gain of children under five. This research is observational with cross sectional ap-proach. Data on the participation of mothers of children under five to the posyandu and the weight of children under five is taken directly from the records of KMS and Posyandu Infor-mation Systems (SIP) for children under five in the posyandu. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-Square test. There is a relationship between the participation of mothers of children under five to the posyandu with the weight gain of children under five with a P value of 0.005. Where as seen from the last six months the participation of mothers of toddlers who actively came to the posyandu was 93.9% and those who were not active 61%, the weight of toddlers who rose by 78.8% and those who did not increase by 21.2%, there was a relationship between partici-pation to posyandu with weight gain. The results of this study can be information and input for PUSKESMAS Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi East Java village to provide guidance on the benefits of active participation of children under five to the Posyandu and can be used as a ref-erence to develop further research related to the participation of mothers under five to Posyan-du with weight gain under five. .
