Marine management areas in Indonesia can be claimed 12 nautical miles from the coastline by regional governments, according to Law 23 of 2014. However, in reality, there are many provinces whose distances to other provinces are fewer than 2 × 12 nautical miles, necessitating that they be delimited fairly and proportionally. The provinces of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Islands are such an example. The absence of clear boundaries drawn on the national map of Indonesia was the fundamental problem and focus of this study, owing to the need for delimitation of regional sea boundaries. The delimitation method used to obtain the median line was the equidistance principle using the basepoint to basepoint approach and baseline to baseline, within the consideration of the coastline proportion. Small islands are taken into account as a highly influencing factor and cause of the deviation from the pure median line. The median line results based on the basepoint to basepoint approach showed an area of the ocean as large as 7426.24:5973.41 km2, considering the coastline proportion. Meanwhile, with the baseline to baseline approach, resulting area was 7430.65:5956.13 km2 (South Sumatra:Bangka Belitung Islands). The equidistance principle is a comprehensive method for calculating the median line, as shown in this research.

Management of coastal areas and small islands by the regional government is essentially the implementation of regional autonomy that has been guaranteed by Article 18 paragraph (2) of the 1945 NRI Constitution. With the existence of regional autonomy, according to Article 18A of the 1945 NRI Constitution there is a relationship of authority in the management of coastal areas and small islands. For this reason, the authority of regional governments in managing coastal areas and small islands is an inseparable part of regional autonomy. Based on Article 50 of Law No. 1 of 2014 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law No. 32 of 2004, the provincial authorities ranging from 4 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles, while the regencies / cities have the authority ranging from 0 nautical miles to 4 nautical miles. However, since the enactment of Law no. 23 of 2014, specifically the provisions of Article 14 paragraph (1), management of coastal areas and small islands is only the authority of the Central and provincial governments. Provincial authorities start from 0 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles. Whereas regencies / cities no longer have authority in managing coastal areas and small islands.

A fundamental problem in taste research is to determine how gustatory signals are processed and disseminated in the mammalian central nervous system. An important first step toward understanding information processing is the identification of cell types in the nucleus of the solitary tract (NST) and their synaptic relationships with oral primary afferent terminals. Facial and glossopharyngeal (LIX) terminals in the hamster were labelled with HRP, examined with EM, and characterized as containing moderate concentrations of medium-sized round vesicles, and engaging in asymmetrical synaptic junctions. Ultrastructurally the endings resemble excitatory synapses in other brain regions.Labelled facial afferent endings in the RC subdivision synapse almost exclusively with distal dendrites and dendritic spines of NST cells. Most synaptic relationships between the facial synapses and the dendrites are simple. However, 40% of facial endings engage in complex synaptic relationships within glomeruli containing unlabelled axon endings particularly ones termed "SP" endings. SP endings are densely packed with small, pleomorphic vesicles and synapse with both the facial endings and their postsynaptic dendrites by means of nearly symmetrical junctions.

The Ti3Al intermetallic compound has long been recognized as potentially useful structural materials. It offers attractive strength to weight and elastic modulus to weight ratios. Recent work has established that the addition of Nb to Ti3Al ductilized this compound. In this work the fundamental problem of this alloy, i.e. order-disorder and antiphase domain structures was investigated at the atomic scale.The Ti3Al+10at%Nb alloys used in this study were treated at 1060°C and then aged at 700°C for 2 hours. The specimens suitable for TEM were prepared by standard jet electrolytic-polishing technique. A JEM-200CX electron microscope with an interpretable resolution of about 0.25 nm was used for HREM.The [100] and [001] projections of the α2 phase were shown in Fig.l.The alloy obtained consist of at least two phases-α2(Ti3Al) and β0 structures. Moreover, a disorder α phase with small volume fraction was also observed. Fig.2 gives [100] and [001] diffraction patterns of the α2 phase. Since lattice parameters of the ordered α2 (a=0.579, c=0.466 nm) and disorder α phase (a0=0.294≈a/2, c0=0.468 nm) are almost the same, their diffraction patterns are difficult to be distinguished when they are overlapped with epitaxial orientation relationships.

Pulau Kecil Gelasa merupakan daerah yang belum banyak diteliti. Pemetaan ekosistem di pulau kecil dilakukan dengan bantuan citra Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS). Penelitian terdahulu diketahui bahwa ALOS memiliki kemampuan memetakan terumbu karang dan padang lamun di perairan dangkal serta mampu memetakan kerapatan penutupan vegetasi. Metode interpretasi citra menggunakan alogaritma indeks vegetasi pada citra ALOS yaitu NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), serta pendekatan Lyzengga untuk mengkoreksi kolom perairan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan luasan Padang Lamun di perairan dangkal 41,99 Ha, luasan Terumbu Karang 125,57 Ha. Hasil NDVI di daratan/ pulau kecil Gelasa untuk Vegetasi Rapat seluas 47,62 Ha; luasan penutupan Vegetasi Sedang 105,86 Ha; dan penutupan Vegetasi Jarang adalah 34,24 Ha.   Small Island Gelasa rarely studied. Mapping ecosystems on small islands with the image of Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS). Previous research has found that ALOS has the ability to map coral reefs and seagrass beds in shallow water, and is able to map vegetation cover density. The method of image interpretation uses the vegetation index algorithm in the ALOS image, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), and the Lyzengga approach to correct the water column. The results of the study were obtained in the area of Seagrass Padang in the shallow waters of 41.99 ha, the area of coral reefs was 125.57 ha. NDVI results on land / small islands Gelasa for dense vegetation of 47.62 ha; area of Medium Vegetation coverage 105.86 Ha; and the coverage of Rare Vegetation is 34.24 Ha.

This paper considers the fundamental problem of artificial lighting in various types and scales of industrial facilities, focusing on exterior lighting design solutions. There is a lack of interest from investors, customers and society in high­quality lighting design for industrial facilities in Russia, which in many cities are very imaginative structures, practically unused in the evening. Architectural lighting of various types of installations is illustrated with photographs. The purpose of the article is to draw attention to the aesthetic value of industrial structures, provided not only by the architectural, but also by a welldesigned lighting solution.

Data on historic floods along the Danube River exist since the year 1012. In the Middle Ages, floods were estimated based on historical documents, including original handwritten notes, newspaper articles, chronicles, formal letters, books, maps and photographs. From 1500 until the beginning of organized water regime observations, floods were hydraulically reconstructed based on water marks on old buildings in cities along the Danube (Passau, Melk, Emmersdorf an der Donau, Spilz, Schonbuhen and Bratislava). The paper presents a procedure for assessing the statistical significance of registered historic floods using a comprehensive method for defining theoretical flood hydrographs at hydrological stations. The approach is based on correlation analysis of two basic flood hydrograph parameters – maximum hydrograph ordinate (peak) and flood wave volume. The PROIL model is used to define the probability of simultaneous occurrence of these parameters. It defines the exceedance probability of two random variables, in the specific case two hydrograph parameters of the form: P{Qmax more equal to qmax,p)∩(Wmax more equal to wmax,p)} = P (1) where: Qmax – maximum hydrograph ordinate (peak); qmax,p – maximum discharge of the probability of occurrence p; Wmax – maximum hydrograph volume; wmax,p – maximum flood wave volume of the probability of occurrence p; P – exceedance probability. Spatial positions of the lines of exceedance of two flood hydrograph parameters and the empirical points of the corresponding parameters of the considered historic flood in the correlation field Qmax - Wmax, allow direct assessment of the exceedance probability of a historic flood, or its statistical significance. The proposed procedure was applied in practice to assess the statistical significance of the biggest floods registered along the Danube in the sector from its mouth to the Djerdap 1 Dam. The linear trend in the time-series of maximum annual flows at a representative hydrological station and the frequency of historic floods in the considered sector of the Danube are discussed at the end of the paper.

 A Wireless Mobile Ad-hoc Network consists of variety of mobile nodes that temporally kind a dynamic infrastructure less network. To modify communication between nodes that don’t have direct radio contact, every node should operate as a wireless router and potential forward knowledge traffic of behalf of the opposite node. In MANET Localization is a fundamental problem. Current localization algorithm mainly focuses on checking the localizability of a network and/or how to localize as many nodes as possible. It could provide accurate position information foe kind of expanding application. Localization provide information about coverage, deployment, routing, location, services, target tracking and rescue If high mobility among the mobile nodes occurs path failure breaks. Hence the location information cannot be predicted. Here we have proposed a localization based algorithm which will help to provide information about the localized and non-localized nodes in a network. In the proposed approach DREAM protocol and AODV protocol are used to find the localizability of a node in a network. DREAM protocol is a location protocol which helps to find the location of a node in a network whereas AODV is a routing protocol it discover route as and when necessary it does not maintain route from every node to every other. To locate the mobile nodes in a n/w an node identification algorithm is used. With the help of this algorithm localized and non-localized node can be easily detected in respect of radio range. This method helps to improve the performance of a module and minimize the location error and achieves improved performance in the form of UDP packet loss, received packet and transmitted packets, throughput, routing overhead, packet delivery fraction. All the simulation done through the NS-2 module and tested the mobile ad-hoc network.

Leptochelia Vatulelensis(Crustacea: Tanaidacea), A New Species From Anchialine Caves of the South-Western PacificLeptochelia vatulelensisn. sp., discovered on the small islands of Vatulele (Fijian group) and Ouvéa (Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia), is described and illustrated. The new species is distinguished from the others of the"Leptochelia-dubiagroup" (to which it is generally similar) by the following combination of morphological characteristics: (1) the presence of three to four distal setae on the maxilliped basis; (2) merus of pereopods III and IV with only a distosternal seta; (3) endopod of the uropods formed of four (rarely three) articles; (4) males with two (sometimes three) relatively short aesthetascs on the first five articles of the antennular flagellum; (5) male cheliped with a diminished dimorphism; (6) males with a vertical comb-row of setae on the cheliped propodus. Although it inhabits inland, anchialine caves, the new species lacks morphological features that are characteristic of some cave species.
