This study was conducted to determine the effect of REACT strategy assisted by GeoGebra software on students' mathematical representation ability. This study was quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The design used in this study was The Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. Four posttest questions were given to 25 students of Class VIII A and 25 students of Class VIII B at SMP Negeri Arun Lhokseumawe (public middle school). The data obtained from the posttest results were analyzed by data normality test and data homogeneity test, then hypotheses were tested using a t-test to see the effect of REACT strategy assisted by GeoGebra software on students' mathematical representation ability. The results of the data analysis of the posttest score tested using the t-test, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) of 0.000 > 0.05. This showed that there was a significant effect of using the REACT strategy assisted by GeoGebra software on students' mathematical representation ability.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method of playing a role in student confidence in Indonesian subjects. The quasi-experimental method is used as a research method with the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of all students in the primary school state of Cilaku. Samples were taken as many as 48 students from the VA class of 24 students as the control class and the VB class of 24 as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used in determining the average, calculating the standard deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that the variable of students 'confidence using the role-playing method obtained an average posttest score of 78.33. In contrast, the results of students' confidence using conventional learning received an average posttest score of 66.17. Then the hypothesis test is performed, which shows the results of t count 4.09 and t table = 2.074 with n-2 = 24-2 = 22 and a significance level of 0.05. Based on the t count ˃ t-test criteria, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the role-playing method influences students' confidence in Indonesian subjects.

The research is aimed to produce an effective social-personal guidance to develop students' moral behavior. This research uses quantitative approach with quasi experimental method and non-equivalent control group design to students class VIII of SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Data analysis techniques used to find out the effectiveness of personal-social guidance in developing the moral behavior of students in SMP Negeri 26 Bandung Academic Year 2017/2018, include: 1) normality test; 2) homogeneity test; and 3) independent t test. The results show that in general social-personal guidance is not effective in developing students' moral behavior. But in particular there are five significant indicators, which is; 1) impose obligations as a child; 2) help others sincerely; 3) share / share information; 4) show concern for others; 5) guiding others to the task, and two insignificant indicators, namely; 1) understanding school rules; 2) consider the impact of lying.

Abstract. The purpouse of this study is to know the understanding of the mathematical concepts of students with the application of REACT learning strategies better than the understanding of mathematical concepts of convensional learning students. This type of research is Quasi Exsperiment with Randomized Subjects Posttest Only Control Group Design. Population of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pasir Penyu. Sampling is done by Random Sampling. The classes selected to be the experimental class are class VIII4 and the control class is class VIII3. Data collection techniques used test instrument understanding students’ math concepts. The technique of data analysis using t-test as hypothesis test, with pre- requirement test is normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the calculation of the dip- t test taritmethic =2,113 and 𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 =2,005, because 𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑐>𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 so it can be concluded that 𝐻𝑎 accepted means the hypothesis proposed in accepted researcth that is the understanding of mathematical concepts by applying REACT’s strategy of learning is better than the understanding of mathematical concepts of students using convensional learning class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pasir Penyu.Keywords: Relating, Exsperiencing, Applying, Cooperating and Transfering (REACT), understanding concepts.

This study aims to determine the comparison of students 'mathematical representation ability through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the students' mathematical representation ability through the conventional model. The PjBL model is a student-centered, innovative, project-based learning model and positioned teachers as effective facilitators in the contextual learning related to real life situation. This research employed quasi-experimental design. The research applied the posttest only non-equivalent control group design through randomized cluster sampling. The data collection technique used was test. The instrument used to collect the data was the essay test. Data analysis was conducted using independent sample t-test. The result of the data calculation through the Independent-Sample T-Test test obtained the significance level of 0.913 means that the students’ mathematical representation ability was better after the learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was conducted compared to the students' mathematical representation ability through a conventional model. This means that the PjBL model is more influential on students' mathematical representation ability.

Berkembangnya kemampuan berpikir siswa dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki tentang pengaruh model treffinger terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada siswa. Design quasi experimental diterapkan dengan menggunakan post-test only control group design. Studi ini melibatkan 62 siswa dari total 144 siswa. Instrument berupa soal tes sebanyak 35 soal pilihan ganda. Uji parametrik dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil nilai post-test. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (63,41>54,27). Perhitungan dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa model treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. Sintak pada model treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa pada materi ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan. Tahap I (Basic Tools) dapat meningkatkan dua indikator kemampuan memecahkan masalah yaitu merumuskan masalah dan hipotesis.Kata kunci: Kemampuan merumuskan masalah, kemampuan berhipotesis, perubahan lingkungan, ekosistem Treffinger creative learning model towards problem-solving ability in environmental and ecosystem change material. The growing ability of student thinking can affect students ' ability to solve problems. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of treffinger's learning models towards the ability to solve problems in students. The quasi-experimental design is applied using the post-test only control group design. The study involved 62 students from a total of 144 students. The Instrument uses 35 questions of multiple-choice. The post-test value Data is analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. The results of this study indicate that the experiment class has a higher value compared to the control class (63.41 > 54.27). Calculations from the T-test show that treffinger's model affects the ability to solve students' problems. The syntax of treffinger's models was able to improve the ability to answer students' issues in environmental and ecosystem change materials. Stage I (Basic Tools) can increase two indicators of problem-solving capability that is formulating issues and hypotheses.Keywords: Ability to formulate problems, ability to hypothesize, environmental changes, ecosystem

This study began with many students having low concept comprehension skills. This can be seen from the learning process that there are still many students who are less active, and there are still many students who still get grades below the KKM. the purpose of this study was to determine the ability to understand students 'mathematical concepts using the Think Talk Write learning model better than students' ability to understand mathematical concepts using conventional learning models in class VIII MTs Al-Ihsan. The type of this research is experimental, the design is Quasi Experimental, with Randomized Subjects Posstest Only Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this study is cluster random sampling, where class VIII.3 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII.5 as the control class. Data collection techniques through concept understanding tests, then data analysis techniques used are inferential statistical analysis using the "t" test (Independent Sample t Test). Based on the results of research testing the hypothesis of this study obtained t count = 2.061 t table = -1.999. This means that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students using Think Talk Write learning models is better than the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students using conventional learning models in class VIII MTs Al-Ihsan

This study aims to produce an android-based e-module on CAD that has quality (feasible, effective, and practical) in improving student learning outcomes. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) approach, which consists of preliminary studies, development, and testing by experts and practitioners to ensure that the e-module meets the requirements (feasible and practical) as a learning media. Limited trials were conducted through a true-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. This experiment was conducted to test the effectiveness of e-modules during the learning process. The analysis used includes a validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, independent-sample t-test, and N-Gain test. The results of the study found that the e-module products that met the standards of material and media feasibility based on expert judgment and e-modules were very practical and effective to improve learning outcomes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan e-modul pembelajaran CAD berbasis android yang memiliki kualitas (layak, efektif dan praktis) yang dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari studi pendahuluan, pengembangan dan pengujian oleh beberapa ahli dan praktisi untuk memastikan bahwa e-modul tersebut memenuhi syarat (layak dan praktis) sebagai media pembelajaran. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan melalui true-eksperimental design dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Eksperimen ini dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas e-modul selama proses pembelajaran. Analisis yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t test serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan produk e-modul yang telah memenuhi standar kelayakan materi dan media berdasarkan penilaian ahli serta e-modul sangat praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

The research objective was to see the increase in the ability to shoot targets at basketball extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 1 Welahan. The research method used is quantitative research methods with a type of quasi-experimental research method. The study population was the female basketball extracurricular members at SMP Negeri 1 Wagian using a purposive sampling sample of 20 extracurricular participants. This type of research with a quantitative approach using the pretest posttest control group design. The data analysis method used difference test with paired sample-t-test with a significant level of 5%. Calculation of data obtained from 10 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Welahan (experimental class) and 10 students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Welahan (control class), it is known that the Kolmogorov –smimov normality test of the pretest experimental class sig 0.263, posttest experimental class sig. 0.177, pre-test control class sig. 0.410, posttest control class sig. 0.421. The homogeneity test of the students' training results obtained sig. 0.809. Based on the output pair 1 of the experimental class, the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) 0.000, and the output pair 2 control class sig value. (2-tailed) 0.619. The conclusion of this research is to increase the results of shooting through the application of the target game model. The increase in the experimental class was 28.8%. 2.4% increase in Control Class. So, the use of target practice can improve the ability to shoot free throws and it is hoped that the trainer can provide target practice to improve the shooting relationship. Keywords: Targets, Shooting Free Throw, Basketball Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan shooting free throw melalui target sasaran pada ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMP Negeri 1 Welahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta ekstrakurikuler bola basket putri di SMP Negeri 1 Welahan menggunakan sampel purposive sampling sebanyak 20 peserta ekstrakurikuler. Jenis penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain Pretest posttest control group design. Metode analisis   data menggunakan uji perbedaan dengan paired sample-t-test dengan taraf signifikan5%. Penghitungan data diperoleh dari 10 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Welahan (kelas eksperimen) dan 10 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Welahan (kelas kontrol) diketahui tes normalitas kolmogorov –smimovnilai pretest kelas eksperimen sig. 0,263, posttest kelas eksperimen sig. 0,177, pretest kelas kontrol sig. 0,410, posttest kelas kontrol sig. 0,421. Uji homogenitas hasil latihan siswa diperoleh sig. 0,809. Berdasarkan output pair1 kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000, dan output pair 2 kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,619. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan hasil shooting free throw melalui penerapan model permainan target sasaran. Kenaikan kelas eksperimen sebesar 28,8%. Kenaikan Kelas Kontrol sebesar 2,4%. Jadi,penggunaan latihan target sasaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan shooting free throw dan diharapkan pelatih dapat memberikan latihan target sasaran untuk meningkatkan akurasi shooting. Abstract. This study discusses the effectiveness of the use of the Show and Tell method in improving the learning achievement of fourth grade students in Akhlak subjects in Madarasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Wasilatunnaja in the 2015/2016 academic year. This research uses a quantitative method through an experimental approach with nonequivalent control group design. Based on the results of data analysis based on the normality test, homogeneity test, and t test, it is known that the results of posttest, is normal and homogeneous, the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.145 with (df) 45 where 0.145> 0.05 . Then, according to the basis of decision making in the independent sample t-test, it can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that there is no difference between the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. Which also shows that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. In other words the show and tell method is not effective enough in improving student learning outcomes in moral subjects. Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektivitas penggunaan metode Show and Tell dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Akhlak di Madarasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Wasilatunnaja pada Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan berdasarkan pada uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji –t, diketahui bahwa hasil dari postest normal dan homogen, maka diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,145 dengan (df) 45 di mana 0,145 > 0,05. Maka sesuai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji independent sample t-test maka dapat disimpulkan Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak yang artinya bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Yang juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan kata lain metode show and tell ini tidak cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajara akhlak.

This research background was the application of less optimal Social Sudies Learning Process in schools in enhancing students’ critical and meaningful thinking skills and at the Social studies learning which were still taught separately based on appropriate field of studies such as Geography, Sociology, History and Economics. This research aimed to find out the effect of integrated Social studies Learning towards the students’ critical and meaningful thinking skills enhancement. The research method applied in this study was quasi experimental research using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. One class was chosen as an experimental class with Integrated Social studies Learning and one control class was choosen with separated Social studies learning. The data technique collection used was in the form of test result which was supported by observation and questionnaire. The analysis technique of test data to examine the research hypothesis applied SPSS version 16 with the analysis tools: normality test, homogeneity test, parametric analysis with t test and gain. The test findings showed that the learning of Integrated Social studies affected by the students’ critical and meaningful thinking skills enhancement. The learning of this Integrated Social Science was recommended as a learning alternative which was able to enhance students’ critical and meaningful thinking skills
