In this article, a model is developed for the formation of the research competence of undergraduate mathematicians at a pedagogical university. Purposeful formation of research competence in the conditions of digitalization, development of theoretical approaches to the use of ICT tools in order to: develop the trainee's personality by involving the trainee in experimental research, forming cognitive interest is one of the most important goals of higher pedagogical education. The purpose of the study is to develop a model for the formation of research competence of students-mathematicians of a pedagogical university, including the forms, means and methods of its formation; The research uses research methods as a theoretical analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature on the research problem; observation, generalization; As a result, we determined the essence of research competence and developed a model for the formation of research competence (IC) of mathematics students of a pedagogical university, including the forms, means and methods of its formation; To effectively implement the model for the formation of the research competence of the future mathematics teacher, pedagogical conditions have been created that are of great importance for the formation of the research competence of the mathematics teacher. Formation of the IC was conducted through psychological, informative-cognitive, practical training.

Research background and hypothesis. Social interdependence is evident in everyday human life situations; sports industry is based on it as well. Athletes often compete for higher achievements; however, a possibility for cooperation can be envisioned in competitions as well. The research problem is as follows: is it possible to harmonize social interrelations which manifest in competition, cooperation and collaboration at the same time, and how this consistency can be achieved.  The research aim was to elaborate the conceptual model of consistency among competition, cooperation and collaboration based on the premise of social interdependence.Research methods were theoretical analysis and synthesis. The results of theoretical analysis were generalized and incorporated into the conceptual model.Discussion and conclusions. Scientific literature suggested a few insights. First, social interaction may occur at two levels: intra-group (group level) and inter-group (community level). Second, the nature of social interdependence depends on the level of goals being achieved; three levels of goals can be distinguished: individual goals, group goals, and community goals. Third, based on the type of the interaction and the level of goals, individuals tend to engage into a particular form of interrelation: competition, cooperation, or collaboration; moreover, the form of interdependence is not restricted – a combination of a few (or even all) forms is possible. Based on scientific literature, an implication can be made that interrelation among competition, cooperation, or collaboration can result in coopetition as a higher form of interdependence.Keywords: coopetition, social interaction, social interrelations.

A theoretical analysis of the definition of «culture of scientific speech» has been carried out in the article. Based on the analysis of modern research, the main approaches to the use of scientific communication tools in the process of forming research competence have been presented. The communicative aspect of research competence of future Ph.Ds. has been defined. It consists in the integration of the culture of oral and written scientific speech, academic culture, and basic skills of written scientific speech. The main components of the culture of scientific speech have been given The analysis of scientific literature has revealed stable stylistic features of scientific speech, which should guide future Ph.Ds. during their scientific effort. The peculiarities of the formation of research competence in the context of the use of scientific speech tools by future doctors of philosophy have been determined. The main approaches to the construction of scientific research (systemic, aspect, conceptual, empirical, pragmatic, scientific) have been formulated. The main criteria for writing a scientific text (relevance, novelty and originality, persuasiveness, scientific and methodological character) have been described. The main directions of the development of communicative culture of future Ph.Ds. in the conditions of postgraduate school have been emphasized.

The aim of the study was to investigate approaches to the formation of general educational skills. A survey examining the design and research process was carried out by 6th-grade Russian students over the course of an extracurricular project entitled «Names of Modern Professions». In the paper, the selection of the «Lexicology» section for such activities carried out by school pupils is substantiated and stages of work on the project are described. The applied methodology involves theoretical analysis of scientific literature, formative experimentation, analysis of products of educational activities, observation and description. It is concluded that the design of extracurricular research activities in the Russian language contributes to the formation of general educational competencies in conducting surveys and searching for information on the basis of subject skills.

This study investigates the growing influence of Middle Eastern non-state actors as agents of foreign policy and their interactions with states through an analysis of the U.S.-Kurdish relationship. Incorporating archival data and interviews with Kurdish and American policy makers, the paper analyses the factors that have affected the U.S.-Kurdish relationship from World War II to the recent Syrian crisis in the context of the mainstream theoretical approaches within the discipline of International Relations. Effective development of technological innovations requires efficient management at the stages of their generation, realisation, and their implementation. For this aim, concepts such as foresight, technology assessment, and organisational capabilities assessment can be applied; however, so far they have been used mainly individually or sometimes combined but to a very limited extent. Moreover, they are not used comprehensively, but only selectively, e.g., at some stages of the innovation processes. The research problem undertaken in the paper concerns the effectiveness of the integration of these concepts: future research (mainly foresight), technology assessment, and organisational capabilities assessment for the needs of supporting innovation processes. The paper is aimed at presenting an original approach assuming the integration of the aforementioned triad. The proposed approach has been developed individually by the paper’s author on the basis of (1) state of the art analysis comprising both theoretical approaches and practical examples of individual and combined application of the concepts analysed, and (2) the author’s practical experience resulting from research projects conducted collectively. The research result comprises an original matrix approach where the individual concepts of the triad are applied in a way enabling their mutual complementation at all successive stages of the innovation process. The approach proposed comprises modules referring to the succeeding stages of the innovation process, namely generation, realisation and application of technological innovations. The areas of the approach application and possible directions of its further development are presented.

The levels of conflictological culture of pedagogues and engineers, the peculiarities of its formation as well as the comparison of the conflictological culture’s levels among representatives of these specialties on the base of their gender and work experience are analyzed in the proposed research. Each specialist owns a certain level of the conflictological culture’s development and he/she expresses it in a professional environment. The relevance of the research’s theme is caused by the necessity to improve conflictological culture of specialists for their further successful activities. The Aim of the research is the identification of differences in the levels’ formation of specialists’ conflictological culture by the example of pedagogues and engineers and the influence of such a characteristic as a gender and work experience  on it. The Object of the research is the process of forming conflictological culture of pedagogues and engineers. The Methods of the research are the following:1. the theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the given problem;2.the empirical analysis of obtained data reflected the level’s formation of pedagogues and engineers.

The aim of this article is the implementation of theoretical and empirical analysis of the essence of emotionality. Methods of study: analysis, comparison and systematization of the scientific literature concerning the phenomenon of an emotional deprivation, observation, analysis of the documentation, the method of the peer review, a conversation, a testing, a survey for the identification of the consequences of the emotional deprivation. Results. We figured out that emotional deprivation very closely connected with other kinds of deprivation and is part of the mental deprivation. The semantic content of the notion "emotional deprivation" depends on the conceptual and theoretical approaches of the author, studying of the specific conditions of its origin and also the specific of age group. However most scientists continue determine emotional deprivation as a category of mental state of the personality. Emotional deprivation is an instrument of change and transformation in the psychics, affects somatic health, causes psychosomatic disorders and mental disorders. It is generalized that emotional deprivation through negative feelings and emotions affects other mental spheres of personality – volitional, intellectual, motivational, value-oriented, changing them, deforming, complicating, ie affects the psyche in general. Conclu s ion s . Emotional deprivation can't be equated as a mental state, because it is connected indirectly with the mental state of the deprived personality, but it isn't one. To our mind, emotional deprivation is a process of long lasting stay of the personality in conditions of emotionally impoverished environment, conditioned by displeasure of emotional needs, loss, limitation, insufficiency or absence of abilities for installation of close connections, contacts and interaction with a significant person. It causes dysfunction, breaches and disarrays of the mental sphere of a personality.

The theoretical analysis of scientific literature sources and practice show that standardized adult assessment tools for the evaluation of adult swallowing disorders and readiness for withdrawal of the nasogastric tube (NGZ) are not uniformly used in Lithuanian health care institutions. The theoretical analysis of the assessment of swallowing disorders in adults fed by NGZ in the article showed that in the early stage of the disorder, examinations that are performed in the patient's ward and do not require radiological evaluation are sufficiently accurate. The aim of the study is to reveal the tools and methodologies for the evaluation of swallowing disorders in adults fed by NGZ in the patient's ward during the acute period of the disease. After the theoretical analysis of scientific literature sources, it can be stated that: enteral feeding improves feeding quality, but it restricts patient's movements, complicates communication, induces isolation; accurate assessment of dysphagia can be made by performing a swallowing sample in the patient’s ward; assessment of swallowing function takes into account masticatory muscle function, movements of lips, tongue and soft palate, swallowing, cough and gag reflex, oral control, oral residue, voice quality after swallowing and aspiration risk.

The purpose of the article. Theoretical analysis of personal mediation of manipuiative tendencies. Methodology. The basis of this study is a theoretical analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization of available scientific literature on the subject. Results. Manipulation of consciousness is one of the ways to dominate and suppress the will of people by acting on them through the programming of their behavior. This action is aimed at the mental structures of man, which is carried out secretly and aims to change the thoughts, motivations and goals of people in the right direction for a certain group of people. In this case, the purpose of manipulation – hiding their true intentions, to encourage another person to take certain actions, change values, ideas and opinions, etc., while maintaining the illusion of independence in general and independence of decisions or actions. In other words, to motivate a person to what he does not want to do, to distract from what he aspires to, but at the same time to create in him the confidence that he is acting of his own free will. Practical implications. The need to study manipulative tendencies is to determine the main ways and methods of manipulation and ways to protect against manipulative action. To reveal the main features of the manipulator’s personality and the category of people who are most prone to manipulative action. Theoretical materials can be used in the training process of the courses “Psychology of personality”, “Age Psychology”, “Differential Psychology”, “Fundamentals psychological correction”. Originality/value. It was found that the criteria for manipulation are: the attitude of the manipulator to the objects of manipulation as a means to achieve their own goal, the desire to gain unilateral advantage, the hidden nature of influence, use of force, motivation, motivation and skill in the process of manipulative influence. The article provides a theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the problem of emotional states and their regulation. As part of the response levels of states – mental, physiological, behavioral - humor is proposed as a method of gelotology / laughter therapy. The positive impact of humor and laughter on the psychophysiological state of a person, his cognitive and spiritual potential is noted. The structure of the use of humor in the framework of gaming activities is given. The positive psychotherapeutic effect of using gerontology in the regulation of emotional states of the individual in different psychotherapeutic schools is analyzed.
